Nika knew how to give a big hug "Heey don't...",gasping for air,"take my breath" again pause "awaay" she finally said.
Finally she was released from the hug and said "Wow you really know how to hug" said laughing "But is nice to see you again Slytherdor friend" said the Slytherin giving a gentle push on Nika's shoulder.

"Oh don't tell me" Georgiana said teasing Nika about her comment of her hair "I would have never imagined!" said chuckling. She made a funny sound when Nika nudged her "Heey! I'm ticklish in that area" said smiling, very ticklish and her siblings take advantage of it. Now answering her question "Well..." she thought for a second " I have just gone to the beach with my family and nothing else" just normal vacations "And you seem amazed by the Leaky" Nika had a funny expression on her face like the one she had when they first met and they were talking about Hogwarts. "Come on let's find a place to sit"

Nika giggled and responded with an equally big smile. "What can I say, I'm a hugger!" She nodded her head and bounced up and down."Right back at chu!" She giggled at Georgiana's reaction to the hair thing. Eh, she knew it was coming. Nika basically set it up that way. "Now I know your weak spot!" Nika tried to add in an evil laugh, but it sort of failed. "Yeah it looks awesome! I bet their food is awesome too!" Nika bobbed her head up and down in agreement. "Yeah okay!"

Emily entered the pub rather excitedly. She'd gotten Nikas message, her sister was arriving soon and she was going to do her shopping for school. This would be one of the best days ever!
Looking around she spotted Nika and smiled. Boy was her hair red!
"NIKAAAAAAAA!" She cried running into a hug with her. She'd seen her for 2 weeks of the holiday but not with red-pink hair. "I got your message. Your hair is so... red!" she smiled, then jumped around again. She was excited!

Nika heard her name and with a smile she cried out to the not-so-mystery-voice, "EMILLLYYYYY!!!" She returned the hug with the same amount of enthusiasm as her friend. Wow, she had really missed her friend... A lot! "It is really pink-red! It's my favorite color!" She jumped up and down and squealed. It was nice to be with her best friend again. "I can't believe how much I've missed you Emily! I can't wait to return to Hogwarts to see everyone else too!" She jumped up and down letting her "Nika Smile" take up most of her face.

"Oh, red-pink. Sorry, must be the light..." she waved her hand and shook her head, then went back to squealing with her best friend. "I've missed you too!!! I know we saw each other at Halles and when I went to yours and the fact we've been writing letter to each other all holiday, but I still feel like I havn't seen youuuuuu!"
Merlin, she shoudn't have had all that sugar before arriving. Dang her obsession for sugar quills. Speaking of which, she needed to buy more.
"OH! And guess what?! My parents gave me enough money for my birthday to buy an owl!" she jumped up and down again. She was excited to see Nika, but also get and owl.

"I know! I feel the saaame way!" But writing letters is never the same as meeting in person. "An owl!?!?!?!" That's so awesome! She was slightly worried though. There is no way that she can beat that present. "Speaking of your birthday...." Nika reached into her bag and pulled out gift box "It's made out of one hundred percent recycled materials!" Nika stated proudly. She loved the environment and was even going to try and be a vegetarian once the term starts.

Nika looked at Emily anxiously she couldn't wait for her friend to open it! She made sure to include a book about dragons because she would always remember the first time they met when Emily told her about her interest in dragons AND books! She also had something to remind her about there time playing football. Then last but not least she managed to fit in a few sugar quills that she had bought for Emily.

Emily let out a gasp as Nika produced the pritty box. She didn't even know what was inside and she was already excited!
"Nika! Thank you!" she took the box carefully "It's to beautiful to open! AND it's helpful to the environment!"

"I got your birthday card, but I wasn't expecting this!" she opened the sides carefully and almost dropped it as she looked inside.

"NIKA YOU ARE THE BEST FRIEND IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!"

She took out the dragon encycolpedia and remembered the first time they had met instantly. Her face went red with happyness. She then took out the shirt and laughed plesently. "Perfect for football!" she smiled. Little did Nika know she had been practicing during the summer. She was ready for a re-match!
Lastly she pulled out a sugar quill and that was it. She gave her friend a massive hug "THANK YOU, THANK YOU! This is the best present ever! Your the best friend ever!" Was that a tear that came to her eye briefly?

"Well I know it's not as great as the owl-" Nika watched eagerly as her friend took the box. "Well I couldn't not give you a birthday present! You honestly think I wouldn't give my best friend a present!" Her smile grew bigger as Emily squealed in excitement. Yay! Her friend likes the present, mission accomplished. Suddenly Nika was wrapped in a giant hug and she could barely breath. "Glad-you-liked-it." She hugged her friend back. "I was afraid that you wouldn't like it."

"What are you talking about?! It's great just because it came from you!" Aw! Friends forever! "I love it!"
She put everything back in the box except for the sugar quill "Want one?" It tastes even better when given from a friend.
"So did you have a good holiday? I had a great time at your house! Your family is so nice!" She'd said that last bit nearly everyday she'd spoken to Nika, but her house had been so much fun she had to let Nika know that!

*Awww moment*. "No, they're for you!" Nika turned down the treat, hmm that's a first. "Well the beginning was great! I'm so glad that my sister and I started to get back to old times before you came. It made it less awkward." Nika was truly thanking the stars that Emily had gotten a good impression of her sister. "But for some reason it just didn't seem the same as it used to be when we were together. I think she is a bit envious that I get to go to a witchcraft and wizardry school while she stays at home." Nika wasn't sure if she was doing the right thing. She didn't want to leave her sister. "Then she asked me not to go back, to Hogwarts."

"Suit yourself..." she said opening her own quill. More for her!
As Nika spoke Emily sucked her quill and nodded. Then her mouth opened and the quill almost fell out. "She WHAT?!" Nika had to come back to Hogwarts though! "B-but, you have to come back! You are, arn't you? Don't leave me!!!" She was pratically begging! "Your sister seemed so nice when I met her! I'm so sorry. Why did she ask that?!" It was so much to ask, for a witch not to go back to Hogwarts...

"I am going back. I can't leave it now that I know what I would be missing. I finally feel like I belong and my sister doesn't really understand that." Nika understood why her sister didn't want to go back and it made Nika feel guilty. "She just doesn't want me to leave again. She wants to be with me. She... misses me." Nika replied with a little frown. "Sometimes I think she gets jealous because she doesn't have powers, you know?" Nika didn't know how to describe the weird issue very well, but she tried her best.

"No, I guess she dosn't..." Emily muttered quietly. It must be hard for Nika but at least she was coming back! "Was she mad you said you were coming back?" Wait! She shoudn't have asked that! It would probably make her feel worse! Stupid Emily!
"So, um... Mabye we should move away from the entrence. We're kindda blocking it..." And she didn't want some angry witch or wizard yelling at her. "Where do you want to go?"

"Well I guess you could say that she was disappointed." Very disappointed. "But she just has to understand. If she knew what Hogwarts was like, if only she knew how much better it is for me." Maybe this is what everyone meant by muggles being ignorant. Nika didn't realize until now that maybe they were right. "Oh right. Maybe we should move. How about that courtyard looking like place?"

"I'm sorry Nika..." she said softly, putting her hand on her shoulder. "Sometimes I feel like my parents don't understand magic either. I've found it's just easier to not mention it..." Wow, depressing talk.
"Yeah, lets move there and decide properly what to do. And talk more!!!" she smiled leading the way.

Shopping for new school materials with her Mum was out of the question for Lulu Patterson. Not only would it be embarrassing but counterproductive. Bringing an adult would slow her down and keep her from gorging on ice cream for lunch as she planned on doing. The brunette had dismissed her guardian quickly, wishing her luck with her rebellious brothers. Now that Lulu wasn't home to keep them in line, she thought, they were going to go back into thinking they ruled the neighborhood. As if Lulu would leave her throne to a couple of boys. Idiots.

Her long legs kicked out in the direction of every pebble she came across with, every empty bottle of butter beer and every can. Her failed attempts at making plans with her friends to meet up at Diagon Alley were kept a secret from the Mother figure. For all Diana Star knew, Lulu was meeting with a group of giggling girls who would end up, one point or another, shopping for beauty products and discussing the best training bras to purchase at Madam Malkin's.

Lu gagged into an open palm and she marched through the entry way that connected Muggle London to the Leaky Cauldron with large strides. None of that girly girly stuff for her, thanks. She was more interested in buying a new leash for Sir Robin, getting a pair of robes that didn't stop at her kneecaps and getting her hands on some rather obscure spell books.

Leonora smiled once again as Trevor apparated them to the Leaky Cauldron. Taking in a deep breath, she looked about and then found herself shivering. "Should have brought a sweater." she said to herself and then let her hand find Trevor's.

"Shall we head inside then?" she asked, looking over at him to lead the way.

"Oh... Do you want me to pop back and get your sweater?" Trevor asked her sweetly, "I could be back before you find us a seat..."

"No, no. I'll be okay once we get inside." Leonora insisted with a shake of her head. No need to make a commotion over her.

Landing just a few hours to London, Ayumi packed up her things and sent them directly to her house in the Wizardinf world. Hey, less bags. Less hassle.

Ayumi gave herself a few hours of freedom and shopping in the muggle world before she enters the wizarding world for real. She misses everyone really. She has been long gone, well 3 months or so. But still, that's a long time for Ayumi. Plus, she misses her brother's cooking. And her mother's cooking as well. She can't wait to come home and eat their sumptuous meal again and again until she vomits everything out.

After awhile, Ayumi got herself ready and entered the Leaky Cauldron front door. It's amazing how muggles don't really see anything and just pass by the door. MAGIC! Always fun to have it. Speaking of that, Ayumi hasn't used much magic while she worked abroad. And boy, she really misses flipping and flipping and swishing her wand back and forth. She can't believe she's actually missing what it feels like being a witch. Wands and spells and what not?!

Entering the door inside the awesome pub, she looked around to see if she knows anyone. The place hasn't really changed ever since she left. Same old, same old. Really nice and comfy too. She really misses drinking butterbeer, and eat chocolate frogs.

Looking at the pub, Ayumi smiled. Yes, she's definitely back home!

Draca and her parents walked down the road to the unseen Leaky Cauldron and stepped inside. This is the first time Draca has stepped into the Leaky Cauldron and Diagon Alley. She is rather shy and does not like big crowds so she did not have to come here until now.

She is starting school this next term so she has to get her school supplies. This not be bad enough her parents is going to make her do it all by herself. Better to work on her shyness and big crowds here then school her parent thought.

After stepping into the entry way her parents double checked to make sure she has everything she need. Her list, money, map of Diagon Alley, and floo powder. She was going to take the floo network back home. Off they went to show her the floo network stations where the to the courtyard.

Regardless of what had happened in the past, Damien was quite happy to be able to spend some time in Diagon Alley before the next term started up. Granted, the only shopping he really wanted to do was to try and find an owl to bring with.

He wondered who he'd run into while in the little wizarding shopping area. He hadn't been in contact with everyone all that regularly. His Aunt kept him pretty busy back home in Ireland.

First planned stop was the Leaky Cauldron, and after giving appropriate passwords and such to grant access to the pub, the boy sauntered in, bell clanging to signal the entrance of another customer.

Rufin left the Leaky Cauldron by the front door to inspect the entry way. He bent down and took out his wand, hiding it up his sleeve and muttering spells, beginning with Muffliato to prevent muggles hearing him. Nothing revealed itself and he could see no obvious infestation of anything. He finished with the last couple of spells, a couple of which he had invented himself to make dangerous plants reveal themselves. Nothing. Good, he smiled and stood up, reciting the sentence above the door and re-entering the pub.

Only slightly Skipping towards the entrance, Ryoma didn't even bother to make an announcement and instead simply plastered a few of the posters to the door.

He then smiled at a few people who were coming in and out at the Leaky Cauldron and figured that he probably ought to make a proper announcement.

"ATTENTION PLEASE!" he bellowed. "I am afraid that I will have to close down the Leaky Cauldron due THIS amazing turn of events at the South End of the Street"

He thrust the poster out for everyone to see.




OOC: I am sure you all have seen the site wide announcement, so please go and have fun RPing at the carnival. All the shopkeepers and shopkeeper assistants have worked very hard to make this event the best it can be, so we hope that you enjoy it! The Leaky Cauldron will be open for another 24 hours and then all threads will be locked for a few days. Please feel free to RP your character reacting to Ryoma and his announcement, but try to wrap things up and head over to enjoy the carnival!

Chris and his mom walked toward the Leaky Cauldron, which was the only way for them to get into Diagon Alley and buy Chris's school things. He wanted to get all of his things early on this year, last year he had waited till the last minute.
