Azura was actually shocked she had been doing all right around Jasper to be honest, she had walked right up to him and not fallen! Everything on her cart was intact! Her little owl Snowy was perfectly fine and behaving.. so far everything was good! "That is true, but then again, we haven't moved much." She said with a bit of a smile. "If we manage to get on the train and find our seats with no incidents, then it will be a miracle! Who knows, maybe your presence will help out?" She said with a bit of a nod up at him.

She let out a laugh as he joked about his eyes. "Mmm, no they won't match your tie, but yellow or blue will set them off rather perfectly well." She said with a bit of a smile, she was still nervous about going first!! She hoped it would be okay!

Flying Fwoopers! What had just gotten into her! She had held his hands.. which was nice and said his nickname? Were they on nickname status yet? She wasn't even sure!!

She watched as he blushed a bit and she bit her lip as he scratched at the back of his neck, she wanted to apologize again for that obvious lapse in judgement, but he thankfully started to speak!

She let out a breath she didn't know she had been holding as he spoke and said that he didn't mind the two houses she would probably end up in! "Oh good! I just didn't want you to hate me in like four years or something." She said as she bit her lip at his dazzling smile..

Holy Hippogriffs.. That was.. quite the smile.. Uhhhhh.. What was she saying?

Jasper watched as after his comment, she seemed to look completely shocked before surveying all of her belongings. It almost made him laugh, but he suppressed it with an amused smile. "True... but I think we can manage to get into a compartment on the train... maybe my presence will help!" he said with a grin. If not he was going to help her.

Or at least try to help her.

And keep his fingers crossed for the best.

He couldn't help but laugh at her comment about the other colours setting off the colour of his eyes. "In that case we should hope for Ravenclaw, then it'll set off the colour of both of our eyes," he countered. He was fairly certain he made a similar point about the blue complimenting her eyes earlier, but if it worked for both of them, why not?

"Nah... I couldn't hate you," he commented simply, the large smile still on his face, partially trying to reassure her because she still seemed nervous about being the first person to be sorted. "Besides, I might not even have to ask the hat to put me in your house, it might put me there anyway."

Which would be totally cool.

And then if he hated it, he could always blame the hat not Azura which he'd do either way.

:: Ganymede could hear a few shrieks here and there, but the snake for the most part went unnoticed. Something that certainly caught her eye was some kid staring at her. Just for a moment. He had on a black hat. Some silly kid with a hat... that she nearly knocked off. The back of her neck was tingling. He definitely was tailing her. She turned and quickly spun behind a crowd, she would surprise him. That would give her the upper hand.

Speaking of upper hands, her upper arm was suddenly grabbed and she was spun back around. Her plan to surprise the boy was foiled, instead she was the one surprised. She was staring at someone she didn't expect to see till summer next year.

"This is yours isn't it you little imp?" The angry man looked like a older male version of Ganymede. His hair was the same shade of purple, his eyes sparkled an angry green. He was a bit peeved and was holding her rubber snake. On the ground beside him was a sack, a rainbow tail stuck out the top.

Ganymede schooled her face, "Hello Sir. What's in the bag?" She wiggled out of his hold and he picked up the sack. His face softened and he dropped the rubber snake. It coiled up next to the sack.

"You forgot your unicorn kitty. What's this things name?" He pulled it out and held it to her chest so she could grab it.

Ganymede was mortified, she quickly took the plushy and shoved it into her messenger bag.

"It's name is Ellie Kit... Sir. Thank you." She blushed from her ears to her toes.

He nodded. A slight smile played on his lips. "Alright. I expect you to conduct yourself like a proper young lady. Keep busy with your studies and try to join many clubs. I want you to be well rounded. Don't even allow yourself to get bored." His tone was stern, but near the end of his spiel, he whispered under his breathe "I should have sent the school a warning letter..."

Ganymede didn't make out that last part, but her "Yes Sir's" in understanding about the rest were well received by the man.

He patted her on the arm he grabbed earlier, then he turned his heel and was off.

Ganymede sighed in relief. He had left the snake. ::

"Aaahh I gotcha, I thought Teddy was your new boyfriend or something." he teased her a little bit with his eyebrows raised. He was going to be prepared for her retort back. "Usually the conductor takes the trunks. Maybe they took it?" he said to help with the situation. "Yeah I am at sports camp. I actually play lacrosse, football, soccer, hockey..." he said to list some off. "I mean those are only a few I play but there is many others like swimming..." he shrugged. When he called Candice a dude, he smirked at her reaction. He loved he got her riled up.

"Well then can I call you a dudette then? Whaatt a lady? What do you want me to mr. proper here. As you may have noticed Ms. Messer proper isn't really my style." Insert Candice's retort here. He heard her serious voice but he knew she had to be kidding there somewhere. He snorted and replied sarcastically, "Yeah your gonna be soo serious around me.." He returned his comment with a smirk that said "I like to see you try" look.

Azura nodded slowly as he spoke, she was going to try her hardest to get on the train and make it into a compartment without incident! "I sure hope we can! And I'm sure your presence will help!" She said with a grateful smile as she looked up at him, she was thankful he was taking her being clumsy so well! Not many people reacted as well as he did!

She gave him a smile and a nod.. "That is very true, Ravenclaw will work well for both of us" She laughed at little at him. "We are going to be so stylish! Picking our houses by the color of our eyes!" She giggled a bit more as she shook her head, her raven hair flying around her.

She nearly fell over in relief as he said that he couldn't hate her! Praise Merlin! She didn't know what she would do if he hated her!

ACK! Were things getting dark? She bit her lip as she looked around for a moment, taking a deep breath as she felt her vision clear. "Oh good.. I don't know what I would do if you hated me!" She said with a serious nod.

"It's true, I guess I never thought of that." She said with a smile as she looked up at him.. He could TOTALLY be Ravenclaw material, he liked to draw and play music.. that was artistic and smart!

"We are going to panic ourselves into the ground if we keep planning this!" Azura said with a warm smile, "So not that we have the house thing all sorted out.. Let's talk about something happier!"

She paused for a moment as she thought for a second.."Was.. it all right that I called you Jazz?" She asked him suddenly as she bit her lip a little nervously! She hoped it was!

Jasper was amused at the absurdity of their conversation. Picking houses based on the colours of their eyes? That was silly. But it still put him at ease when it came to thinking about the inevitable sorting!

Azura seemed to act differently for a moment. His eyes narrowed as he watched her bite her lip, and the way she was looking around was a bit odd. His head tilted to the side slightly. "Are you alright?"

That would be helpful to know.

Though he wasn't sure what to do if she answered that she wasn't alright.

"Find other friends?" he joked, though he was still sticking to the fact that he wasn't going to hate her. She was his first friend, and even though they just met he already really liked her company!

Jasper nodded in response to her commenting they'd worry too much if they kept talking about the sorting. Though he was surprised at the question that she'd asked him. Why wouldn't it be alright? He'd already told her his entire family called him that! "Yeah? If you want to..." he was aware that his confusion had caused the first part to come out as more of a question than an answer. But she'd understand!

Hmmmm.... what was something else that was more lighthearted so they wouldn't have to worry about the sorting?

"Which classes are you looking forward to?" the question was a lot lighter, and yet still something they were going to have to face in the future. Figuring that there were also more trivial questions he wracked his mind for some of the most trivial ones he could find.

"What's your favourite flavour of Bertie Bott's every flavour beans?" now that was a trivial question.

Was she all right? Well now that was a loaded question, one she wasn't quite sure about the answer too! WAS she all right? She was still trying to recover a bit from the THOUGHT of him hating her! Imagine if he actually did!!

EEEK!! No! No Azura.. calm down! She told herself as she took her teeth off of her lower lip and focused her purple gaze back on the boy in front of her.

"I'm all right." She said with a warm reassuring smile as he did his little head tilt. "I just had a bad thought." A terrifying, horrific, panic inducing.. bad thought. She nodded up at him warmly, hoping that his head would go back to the proper angle!

Though at his response.. she could feel the lovely panic creeping back! Find other friends! But she didn't WANT to find other friends! She took another deep breath as his joking tone found it's way to her brain and she smiled a little at him. "Well, I suppose I could find other friends.. but I want you be your friend." The sentence was said softly and slightly wistfully as she kicked at nothing with her sneaker-ed foot.

Don't cry! Whatever you do Azura.. don't cry!!! She looked up at him with a shrug and another smile before turning her mind to her calling him Jazz!

"Mmmm, I want too.." She said with a bit of clarity.. She might even make it more her own... Jazzy? Heh! She would have to introduce that one a little later.. maybe after they had known each other for a day or two!

She pondered his question about what classes she was looking forward to and her response was automatic. "Potions,Charms and Transfiguration." She said with a nod. "I want to be a healer and those are the classes you need for them. My mom is a healer and an expert potion maker and she's been teaching me a little bit about them all, so..I'm really looking forward to that." She said with a warm smile. "What about you?" She asked him curious as to what the answer was going to be..

And then..

"Uhhh.. Banana." She said with a nod. "But as you can imagine those are hard to find.. You?"

A small sympathetic smile crossed Jasper's face as she said she just had a bad thought, causing him to nod. She would've shared it if she wanted to and he wasn't going to push her! They hadn't known each other for long after all!

His eyes widened slightly, the boy caught in a mental panic as his joke didn't seem to be understood as a joke. What was he meant to do??? What could work now? With his sister he'd hug her, which always made her pull away before she hit him. Could he hug Azura?

No.

That'd be weird.

"Well I want to be your friend too" he reassured her though, a small smile on his face.

The smile grew into a grin as Azura had said that she wanted to call him Jazz. Nickname basis meant that they definitely were friends now didn't it? He was going to have to work on something he could call her though. Zura? No... that didn't sound that good. He had a while to work on it though.

She already knew what she wanted to be? He didn't have a clue yet! And the classes he was looking forward to? "Uh... I'm not looking forward to Arithmancy... the rest all kinda seem interesting..."

That included muggle studies. He was curious to see what it was they taught wizards and witches about muggles and muggle society.

"They're always hard to find! I always get ones that taste like dirt..." he answered, scrunching his nose up at the mention of the dirt flavoured beans. And they weren't even the worst flavour! But his favourite flavour? "My favourite is Toffee.... or maybe strawberry."

...rude. Maggie had expected Hady to ask her about the 'too'.

Oh well.

At Maggie's question her hazel eyes swung towards Yoongi and she nodded. "Yeah, that's Yoongi." He was pretty darn cool for a seventh year. Was he a Prefect? No she didn't think so but she didn't see a shiny badge pinned onto his robes. "Uh, I don't think so. Frankie is Gryffindor's new Prefect."

That was good? They liked that word today it seemed. "Sure." Maggie shrugged, then grinned at Hady for a brief moment before diverting her attention to the crowd around them again. What was up with these weird one or two word replies for this topic. Had she missed something here? Rather then question Maggie at all on it seeing as the blonde had just given her a grin and snakes didn't just grin for no reason, Hady tilted her head slightly in silent question. If something was up she could be trusted you know Maggie.

With her usual smirk kept in place her eyes once move traveled the length of the platform. Or as much of it she could see given all the people standing around.

Yes, Maggie. Yes he was. Her boyfriend was the new Gryffindor Prefect. Why exactly did she seem so surprised by that? Turning her gaze back onto her fellow fifth year she nodded trying not to laugh. To much anyhow. "Yup," she replied simply with a casual grin. She was rather proud of him and the effort he'd been making over the past term to accomplish the things he wanted to. "I don't need luck. Us Slytherin's deserve the best." This was said rather matter of factly but she meant it to be more playful like.

However it was the truth. And as of right now things couldn't get much better.

Azura let out a sigh of relief as Jazz assured her that he wanted to be her friend as well. Good! Cause she honestly was freaking out of he didn't want to be! Sure, they could have other friends..

But he was special! She could just feel it..She thought at it..

Maybe it was the Fwoopers again?

"Good, then I guess we are friends now hmm?" She said with a warm smile up a him, she hoped that she hadn't panicked him! That would have been bad! She could panic enough for the both of them!

She grinned as he said he wasn't looking forward to Arithmancy.. "I don't think anyone is looking forward to that class! I know I'm not! Muggle Sudies sounds interesting though..I'm always so curious as to how the Wizarding world sees Muggles." She said with a nod as she looked over at him.. "You'll probably have lots of insight in that class hmm?" With his mom and all.

Azura made a face.. "Well can you imagine what looking for banana ones end up like?" Mmmmhmmm she wasn't going to say it.. but yech! "And I know.. I always seem to want chocolate and end up with dirt or coffee or something like that." She said with a shake of her head. Toffee and Strawberry? She made a note of that!

"I guess we are," Jasper answered with a grin. This was good! All the panicking was over on both sides and now they could once again move on with conversation. And attempt to have control over it and stay unflustered and not panicking.

Azura's comment about Arithmancy made him smile in amusement. He guessed that it was true that not a lot of people would be looking forward to that class. Numbers just really weren't his kind of thing. Muggle studies though... he looked thoughtful for a moment. He should have a lot of insight... assuming that they were teaching valid things... "I guess that's true... Do you know anything about muggles?" He added the question because of the way she said she was interested in the way wizards saw muggles, and he agreed that it would be interesting... but to compare it to what muggle life was like required a knowledge of muggles....

And he was definitely overthinking things.

"I suppose I'm also looking forward to astronomy history of magic," he already learnt a bit about planets and stars as part of the muggle school he went to. When it came to magical history, Jasper knew almost nothing though.

"I think most of the classes will be interesting though... though I'm not sure how I feel about divination," that comment was an understatement. Jasper was highly sceptical about divination.

You know, being the new Head Boy, Yoongi had thought that people would be running up to him, asking if they could see the badge or congratulate him. But he was very disappointed when none of that happened. He just sat there, looking around at the students, trying to catch some wrong doers but the only thing he saw so far that got his attention were the two kids with some kind of fake snake. And they weren't bothering anyone else with it. He let out a sigh and unpinned the badge from his clothes to clean it again, just so that he had something to do while waiting.

As he had done so, the Gryffindor pinned the badge back in it original place and then took out a letter from his pocket. It was a instruction letter telling him to go to the Prefect compartment first and then doing some rounds through the corridors of the Hogwarts Express before he could sit down and relax. He was really curious to know who he'll be working with as he knew there had been a lot of changes seeing as most Prefects had graduated last year.

Then his mind went to Norah. It was a shame he had gotten his badge a week after their date so he hadn't been able to tell her but she'll find out soon enough hehe. He smiled as he looked up and in pure coincidence, he caught a Slytherin girl (Maggie) staring at him. He didn't think anything of it. Perhaps she was staring at his badge? He sat a bit more upright as if to say 'see this thing? yeah that's right I got it' and he chuckled at his own thoughts. It was when a couple of students walked further and their legs weren't in the way anymore, did he see that she was accompanied with Hady. Should he say hello? mweeeh he wanted to stay seated. Thinking he would see his Patronus Charm tutor later anyways, the Gryffindor winked at them both before looking around again.

Azura gave Jazz a bit of a shy smile as he said he guessed they were. "Good." Was all she said to his words, but the happy grin on her face said otherwise, as did the sparkle in her purple eyes.. She was thrilled! They were friends!

YAY!!!! Despite her need to bounce Or squeal or squee or hug him tightly. Azura managed to keep a hold of herself and stand there perfectly normally!

She looked up at him as he asked if she knew anything about muggles! She probably should have been a bit shocked.. but she wasn't, it was a fair question. "Mmm, I know a bit. But not a whole lot! I've had a few muggle friends and my aunt is a muggle, but other than that.. not really." Her mom was a healer and her dad worked in the ministry. She bit her lip a little and shrugged slightly. "I'm just curious to see how they are seen based on what I know of them I guess." And her Aunt was a muggle, so there was that!

"Ohh Astronomy should be pretty fun as well, I like looking at Stars.. History of Magic.. ehh?" She wasn't so thrilled about that.. She knew history.. it was sort of boring!!

Azure made a face right along with Jazz as he spoke of Divination.. "I'm not looking forward to that either." She said with a bit of a scowl.

Maggie chose to ignore the head tilt. There really wasn't anything she felt like sharing with the fellow Slytherin. There wasn't even a thing TO share to be honest. Everything was fine, good, and other synonymous adjectives. So she simply continued to grin, eyes wandering elsewhere.

Had Yoongi just winked at her (well them but yk)? While she wasn't exactly too impressed by the guy in general he WAS definitely wearing some kind of official looking badge. Just in case it was an important one Maggie sent a sort of half-smirk back to the older boy. Hi there we see you.

Back to Hady though.

And more importantly Frankie. Who was a Prefect now. Great. Just great. Hady had definitely lucked out there. Even if the other girl argued that she didn't need any luck. Matter of speech. Gosh. "But you clearly picked the right guy now that he's Prefect." Like, dating a Prefect was definitely noteworthy.

He beamed at his friend. They were actually, definitely, really friends now! Despite his assuming that they were, now it was true! And the girl across from him seemed to be just as excited about that fact!

"Well you probably know a bit more than some of the others," he commented with a smile as she was talking about how she did know some muggles.

"I like them too..." he commented with a smile, struggling to keep focussed on the conversation. There were so many stars in the sky, so many different galaxies! He often liked to imagine what the planets would be like. Whether there were other animals or plants! If he could he would love to visit them all to see for himself!

Azura didn't seem as interested in history though, he noted just from the way she didn't really add much to that. He shrugged, a grin still on his face. "I don't know much magical history, only the muggle stuff. Besides it'll be interesting to see if any magical stuff was related to the muggle history I learnt about."

Besides that he just really liked history.

"I think it's silly," he commented when she also scowled at the idea of divination. "And even if it would be possible to see the future, I wouldn't want to know mine."

Ahh, her first real actual friend!!! She just wanted to hug him right now!! Friends did that right? Probably though after they had been friends for more than a minute though! Sure she had talked to some other people in Diagon Alley, Owen, Blaise, Torie, Jace, Esme and Ariadne.. but she hadn't clicked with many of them! Or established friendship! Also they were too spellbound by her eyes to you know.. talk to her!

She smiled at Jazz as he spoke. "Ohh, well I hope I wouldn't make a fool out of myself if I went out into the muggle world and met one on the street!" Though that actually sounded like it would be fun! "Though knowing me, I'd probably just trip.. thereby making a fool out of myself for a completely different reason!" She said disparagingly.

Somehow Jazz's comment made it seem like he more than liked them! She watched him a bit as he seemed to go far away for a moment! She didn't mind though! She got to watch him! She could almost see his brain work and she smiled a little to herself.. "Do you have a favorite planet, star, or stay system?" She asked him curiously. Her purple eyes were wide as she looked up at him.. She had a favorite.. She liked Polaris!

"See Muggle history would be fascinating.. Magical history is just sort of eh, but it would be interesting to see how the two histories collide! You'll have to tell me about that! She said with a nod.

He didn't want to know his future? Well, she guessed she could see that! "I.. don't know about if I would want to know mine or not." She pondered it for a bit.. "I think, I would just want to know if I end up happy." Wow.. what a girl thing to say! Also, she wanted to know if the boy in front of her, with the bright green eyes would still be in her life..

Mmmm..she wanted to know that!

ACK...

What WAS wrong with her? It was the Fwoopers again wasn't it? Or the Nargles?

Jasper laughed as she spoke, before shaking his head. "You'd be fine," he told her, hoping that was true. "Besides, people fall over all the time, no one would really notice." That, he knew from experience, was mostly true. They glanced, lost interest and looked away again.

Sometimes they offered help.

"A favourite? No... no I don't. You?" he commented, still half caught up in the thoughts of what could be out there. Half of him, now on this topic and with his brain kicking into gear with those thoughts, wanted to pull out his sketchbook and get lost in all the possibilities once more. But he controlled himself. Focussing on Azura's eyes and giving her a smile.

That was another thing he would have to try to capture sometime. The colour of her eyes.

Somewhere inside of him he knew the artist in him was going to love Hogwarts.

He laughed at her increased enthusiasm about Muggle history. "I wouldn't know where to start," he answered truthfully. Ancient history or modern? English history or Australian or Asian? There were too many options.

Jasper nodded, respecting that she'd want to know whether or not she'd be happy. But then again, seeing the future had so many flaws in that idea! The idea that their futures were set was one he didn't agree with. It bugged him. But he also saw how in knowing the future, a person could try to avoid it and end up causing it to happen anyway.

"I like to think it isn't all set out yet..." though honestly he'd like to know whether he'd be happy or not too.

He'd find out one day though.

The future was something that you couldn't run from.

Maggie chose to ignore the head tilt. There really wasn't anything she felt like sharing with the fellow Slytherin. There wasn't even a thing TO share to be honest. Everything was fine, good, and other synonymous adjectives. So she simply continued to grin, eyes wandering elsewhere.

Had Yoongi just winked at her (well them but yk)? While she wasn't exactly too impressed by the guy in general he WAS definitely wearing some kind of official looking badge. Just in case it was an important one Maggie sent a sort of half-smirk back to the older boy. Hi there we see you.

And more importantly Frankie. Who was a Prefect now. Great. Just great. Hady had definitely lucked out there. Even if the other girl argued that she didn't need any luck. Matter of speech. Gosh. "But you clearly picked the right guy now that he's Prefect." Like, dating a Prefect was definitely noteworthy.

Hady knew that Maggie knew that the tilt of her head in the blondes direction was meant as a silent question. However being as nothing was being said on the topic she choose to let it go. For now. If something was going on she of all people would know. Hady always had a way of finding things out.

Hazel eyes still on Yoongi for the moment as she was trying to figure out which badge it was the older boy was wearing it was easy to take notice to the wink he sent their way. Laughing softly under her breath she sent him the usual grin and slight nod of her head. Hello, to you too Mr. Headboy.

She had picked that right guy? Had it really happened like that. Had she picked Frankie. Yeah, maybe she sort of did but at the same time he also had picked her. So that in itself had to stand for something. Anyhow right then it wasn't important whom had picked who. The fact was she Hadleigh Lynch was dating Franklin Paton, a Prefect. Definitely a good thing. "I did, didn't I?," she replied with a slight grin. Nothing wrong with being proud.

Henric was....actually trying to be nice to her mother, which.....Ilia was surprised of but proud of him and thankful.....she couldn't hide the tinge of pink that was rushing to her cheeks. What he said about her made her want to be all blushy and giggly and girly. Seriously, only Henric had that kind of effect on her and she would have replied with how amazing that he was if she hadn't known for a fact her mother would give a death glare.... Would her mother leave please? She wanted to run to the end of the platform alone and give her now prefect boyfriend a kiss darnit!

The boy child was saying all true things about her lovely child of course, but then he didn't need to state his adoration of her. This was her daughter and she still did NOT like their closeness. She didn't trust it in the least. He was not acceptable blood to marry and she didn't like how close he was to her Freya. She was watching you boy....always.... Still, she stowed her fangs as she clutched her daughter. "I just get sad when she isn't with me. Its lonely here sometimes without her." Cue supertight snuggle hug. "Maybe I will come up and see you on the weekends this year." She cooed to her child, honestly missing the girl already. The empty nest feeling was starting to kick in and she didn't like it.

"Good Henry---ic. I'm glad." Really she didn't care other than him being around made her daughter happy. For that, she put up with their friendship. She gave her daughter one more squish then let go. "Send me letters my little love." She began to do the overdramatic my baby is leaving sniff and a few tears as she walked back with a pout. "I'll see you soon Freya, be safe my dearest." Off to pout then go to work and be adored.



She nearly wanted to glare at her mother for the lonely comment.....don't even get her started on all of the ways it was all her mothers fault.......but...still. She hugged her tightly and dreaded the thought of having her come up on Hogwarts weekends......maybe if she didn't say anything about it she'd forget? That was her and Henric's date time! Oh by Odin's missing eye....please just don't mother! She didn't comment on it, her mother would get suspicious. Waiting for a moment as she nearly got the wind crushed out of her.....her mother FINALLY left and she said goodbye.

Her face spelled out her exhaustion and frustration when her mother finally left. Then she turned to Ava and smiled brightly. Thank her stars that the young lion said nothing about them dating....she was seriously treating the younger girl to goodies later for it. "I'm so glad everyone is well. That is wonderful that you get to spend more time with Zhenya. I miss having her in my house." Really she did. Thank Merlin she had been in the hall after the acromantula episode.....No more thinking about that.....TWIN!? She had no idea that Ava had a twin! Her eyebrows raised in surprise as she looked at the boy, but her expression was quickly shifted to a warm smile.



"Hello Teddy, pleasure to meet you." She bowed to the younger boy in greeting. "I didn't know that you had a twin Miss Ava, now I'll be sure to keep an eye out for both of you." She added cheerily, in a very good mood.
