Security Offices http://i49.tinypic.com/6ifj3n.jpg From one of the doors in the main hall, you can reach the Gringotts Security offices.A long and bare marble corridor, looking much the same as several other corridors in Gringotts, leads to several small offices and to a larger room at the end of the corridor. Generally if you find yourself here, it will be under escort. The Gringotts Security Force is made up of Goblins and Wizards alike. In the main room, there is a wooden bench along one wall where anyone may wait and old fashioned, temporary jail cells along another. There are also several desks and aside from the cells, the holding room is actually a fairly cheerful place. Security implements of all kinds fill extensive racks and there are several portraits which link from here to other important places in the wizarding world, including the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at the Ministry of Magic. This area of the Bank is not for sightseeing, not unless you feel like volunteering for probity probe testing. OOC: While you are allowed to roleplay here, please be sure your character has official business and has entered the bank through the entrance way and main hall. It is best not to post here without your character being invited to do so. |

Holding James closer to her in a sort of protective way as the Goblin gave a sinister grin, Becca nodded. "Okay." she looked at Brian. Walking slowly towards the security office, Becca kept her arm around James tightly and her other hand in Brian's. "How's this going to work?" she asked Brian softly as they walked into the office. |

He placed his hand on the security door and it melted away and he ushered them in. No one else was inside but he could still smell the perfume from Kayla. It gave him a small smile. That girl would make a great goblin if she were smaller. He waddled over to his desk and grabbed the ledger and the goblin probe. He motioned for all of them to take a seat. "Fill this out and I will probe the little on first." he didn't want to pick up the baby in case they thought he was going to eat it or something. Wizards had crazy ideas like that. |

Nodding, she squeezed his hand back and sat down as the goblin offered them a seat. Taking the form, she shifted to get comfortable and filled it out fully and quickly. Handing back the form, she looked at James "Just sit still Jay." she stroked his hair gently "Mummy and daddy are right here." she didn't want him to get scared of this probe thing. Not even the tiniest bit. |

He stared at the family as they talked to each other. He was glad goblins families weren't like that. It was enough to put him off his lunch. Which he could smell coming from his desk. He pulled out the probe. Which looked like a mechanical spider. With his finger he depressed a button under its belly and the thing sprang to life. Sturnik pointed to the boy and the probe scuttled across the desk and leapt at the boy attaching itself to the boy's clothes. It climbed up his back to the top of his head where it swung down to shine a light into the boy's eyes. After it was done it stick a leg into the boy's ear before sticking another one up its nose. Having down that it crawled back down the boy's back toward the boy's bottom. A quick mechanical whiff sent the spider scuttling up the other way however. The spider poked and prodded the boy none too gently for a few more minutes before hopping off and running back over to the goblin. Sturnik picked up the spider and brought it up to his ear. She spider leaned in and whispered a few words with the goblin. He nodded and set the spider down and pointed to the witch. |

What the hell was that? Brian couldnt breath properly, anger started bubbling in the pit of his stomach. A metal spider thing probe for a baby? How CRUEL! It's pathetic the goblins didnt know a better method for probing. He never ever had seen or heard about this thing. Absolutlely pathetic. He cursed himself for letting James go through this unwanted thing just for a second key of their new vault. He was a baby, innocent. Brian stood up, his face was red, burning. "Look. We dont want a second key, okay? " he said firmly to the Goblin. Shaking slightly he picked up James in his arms who was already started crying because of the horror he had gone through and the pain on his back. Oh my poor baby, I'm sorry Jay. "Lets go Becca. This's not right." he shook his head and urged her to get up from the seat who was horror struck obviously not wanting to come back. |

Becca grinned at Brian and nodded in agreement, knowing that James would sit happily and smile all the way through it. Quote:

Feeling it move down his back, he squirmed and cried loudly, wanting it away from him. Squirming and smacking at the spider as it poked him, he sobbed uncontrollably. Turning to daddy and burying his face into his clothes once the spider had gone, James whimpered, curled up and kept crying, feeling so threatened in this unexpected situation. Becca watched with her mouth open in horror and stared, frozen in place as James screamed and squirmed and tried to get away from the spider. Shaking and putting her hand over her mouth as she tried to take in what had just happened, she didn't move to wipe the tears that appeared in her eyes so quickly. James' screams were heartbreaking. Still staring at the spot James had been sat in horror, Becca only moved once she heard Brian say her name "Yeah.." she stood up quickly, staring at the spider like probe that had been pointed in her direction nervously. We will NEVER let James go through that. Ever. Again. "We're so sorry Jay..I'm so sorry" she ran a hand over his back gently, still trying to understand what had just happened and why she'd frozen. |

Becca turned to the Goblin as he spoke to them. "Maybe you don't cater to us, but you've just invaded my eleven month old baby's personal space without explaining to him what would happen!" Becca looked down at him. "You're of this world, you should understand that he doesn't deserve that." Becca shook her head and took the contract. Pulling out and tapping her wand on the contract and watching it burn in front of their eyes, she glanced at Brian "We'll go now. One of us will be back later to open an account and get one key for it." she cleared her throat, turning and walking off with Brian and James silently, feeling bad for their little one. |

James was still crying, he didn't know what had happened, but he knew he didn't like it. Hugging daddy tightly and starting to calm down with daddy's soothing voice going through his mind, he shifted his head so he was looking at daddy's neck. Showing up his red, tear streaked face, he moved his fingers randomly over daddy's neck. Seeing a woman offer a chocolate frog to him, James shifted slightly and looked at daddy hesitantly before taking the frog and looking at it. |

The woman seemed nice, but..wait. "Hold on baby.." he took the chocolate frog from his hand and handed it over Becca. "Check this out Becs. I dont want to take risk again!" he nodded at her. They didn't know her. Was she the employee of the bank or just a customer like them? What if it was someother probe material? OH..God, no way!! He couldn't believe anyone after that incident, not from this office. Brushing off James's tears gently he Kissed on his cheek softly, "How about we go for a drive? You want to drive daddy's red car or Mummy's Yellow one sweetheart?" he smiled warmly at him. Quote:

Turning it between her fingers, she looked at it carefully and nodded as she gave it back to James "It's fine love." she told Brian, smiling a little more calmly. Looking at James, Becca shook her head at the offer of the playroom. They weren't letting James out of their sight. No way. She looked at Brian with her eyes telling her thoughts clearly. We're not putting James through anything like this ever again. We'll come back. James looked at the chocolate frog as daddy took it from him and watched mummy with wide eyes as she looked at it. "Yewwow daddy. I not drived de yewwow car." he nodded. When he got the frog back, James held onto it and looked at daddy again before taking a small nibble. This wouldn't jump up and scare him, right? |

He nodded at the man's question, agreeing with it fully, but there was no point in repeating. Right. With a side glance to the older man, Adam shrugged and followed the goblin through the doors. As he walked, he tried to be quite aware of his surroundings, looking all around him. And, with his hands in his pockets, he tapped his thumbs against his leg. "Thank you," he smiled at the goblin. Manners. |

She pushed open the door to the security offices and walked in. She spotted a nervous young man and assumed this was one of the new hires. "Adam Emmerson," she said not waiting for an answer. She stuck out her hand, "Tumplin Bank Manager." she gave him a firm human hand shake. "I hope you are ready to work." she told him sternly. |

In the meantime, Gideon just watched and followed. Adam, eh? So he wasn't the only new hire? Well this fellow seemed alright enough . . . probably around his nieces' age, which means, he wondered vaguely if he knew them. Nonetheless, now was not the time for idle chatter; there would be more time on that later. "Gideon MacNeil," he said to the Bank Manager. Female... hmm... odd. Holding his hand out to the boss, he nodded. "Why yes, that's why I applied here. To work." Duh. He hoped she didn't mind sarcasm, because if she did, well she was just gonna have to get used to it. Either that or he was going to have to, Merlin forgive him, censor himself! |

"Yes." Adam answered again, accompanied with a nod. He hoped he was ready, at least. And, apparently the older man was new, too. Gideon. Hehe. Gideon had a sense of humor, from what Adam took of it. He liked him. Yup. |
