On the quiet North End of the Street lies a vibrant storefront polished to its finest where you enter a world of brooms, bludgers, snitches and much more. Displayed at the window of the Quality Quidditch Supplies shop is the latest released broom. As you enter in the shelves and displays are the first thing you notice neatly stacked with other brooms, team posters, and robes galore.
Between the side walls there are various shelves that are filled with various Quidditch supplies and goods. Following the displays of brooms and the like, towards the back you see another section of displays, not of brooms, but the side walls of the shop are neatly stacked with frames, gobstones, and matching merchandise for support. Feel free to stroll along and find what you need to aid you in your game play. Lastly, the back wall displays books and other reading materials, all to do with Gobstones and Quodpot of course.
Towards the back you see another section of displays with little knick-knacks and toys perfect for all ages. Only our most privileged customers are permitted to enter the back room of the shop. Here we hold unique items and remaining stock of items that aren't able to fit on the displays or are in need of refurbishing. At the very back is a door where the shopkeeper does his admin work. Once you’ve found and decided on the goods you wish to purchase, you may bring them along your way towards the counter found right in the center towards the back of the shop. The shopkeeper may seem busy but that won't stop him from assisting anyone.

"I'm sure you would have," Lou said to the young man that had spilled the marbles. She straightened herself up, "It was just a very sudden instinct to pick them up myself," she admitted. She looked at him for the briefest of moments before saying "How old are you? My niece is just about to start at Hogwarts." She didn't know anyone who would be going, seeing as she'd been living in a mostly muggle town.
Turning back, Lou smiled in response to the Shopkeeper's thanks. "It wasn't a problem. I'm Louisa, by the way. I just moved into the Leaky," she said, seeing as she had just moved into the Alley she figured introducing herself to her fellow residents wouldn't hurt. "Really? That would be great, thank you. There's some stubborn cobwebs in my attic, perhaps there's something in there about it." She picked the book up and tucked it under her arm before replying again to the shopkeeper. "Quidditch Through the Ages would be good, I think. I'll take one." She had wrapping paper at home, and a card already filled in.

The French still played quidditch, didn't they? First stop on her supply list was to select a few books to give pointers on how to be the best seeker.
"Coleeee... you better not be thinking of trying out for my position!" Just so that was clear. She grinned at the familiar housemate, as she glanced around to see the shopkeeper and a small girl there (did she look that small at eleven? Honestly, Carsyn could hardly recall)
Seeing another customer chime, it didn't take long before she joined in on the scene. Goodness, more witnesses to the mess. He would have to give this shelf an extra cleaning when they were done. Hearing part of their conversation however, it was clear she was a Quidditch player. "Hello there, do you need any assistance?"

Now it made sense, he would have to place an charm to prevent the marbles from spilling again after. "Don't worry about it, young lad." The mess was saved for now. As for his question on books, "We have '30 Ways to Fly' which details maneuvers and other tricks you could use for Keeping among other player positions." It was a great book.

"Well, thank you Louisa, I'm Brad and welcome." Fully accepting her introduction, it wouldn't be the last time they meet. "Alright then, I'll round that up for you." He just had to grab one from the shelf, he wasn't up for the risk on summoning a book and letting the others fall from the motion. "That will be 12 sickles." Unless she saw another item that intrigued her.
It was Austin's second year of Hogwarts which meant he could have his own broom now to try out for the quiditch team! He had his eyes set on a Nimbus 4000. He had practiced speaking more in public so he was able to go to Diagon Ally on his own this year. He was still a quiet kid, but less so now. He glanced around as he walked in for the shop keeper.

So Brad was recleaning the counter after spilling some ink earlier. He gotten it to be just presto clean as if nothing ever spilled on it. Just as he finished up the final polish, he heard the door chime. Ah, another customer.
"Good day, young man." Eyeing the younger lad who was searching around the shop. "How can I help you?"

Austin looked up. He half-smiled.
"I was wanting to buy a broom please," He said. He was still annoyed that his voice was quiet but, hey, he was talking right?

Was this some sort of pun? Marbles? Cause Carsyn wanted to laugh about that. Her gaze flicked between Cole and the two adults, back to Cole and she shook her head. "We're in the same house, Cole Vance. I'm pretty sure I can handle being on your team. I just forgot what position you like." So right now, she just had Cordelia for seeker competition, which definitely made Carsyn feel guilty cause the girl was younger, but she'd have her moment to shine after she graduated....
Not sure if the older woman was talking to her or Cole, Carsyn chimed in. "Fourteen. We're both fourteen actually," She gestured to herself and Cole. "Gonna be fourth years. And we're totally in the best house." Mmhm.
Oh. The older male must have been the shopkeeper for here. Assistance? "Uh... yea... I was wondering... if you had anything for guaranteed success as a seeker?" Because it was pretty prudent that she make the team, you see. Goals.

A broom, excellent! This always brought memories to the man regarding owning his own broom. "Excellent, now which broom are you looking to buy?" They had a fresh new shipment of brooms after all.

Success as a Seeker. "Hmm.." There were a number of ways to guarantee that. "I'll save you the trouble on the whole practice makes perfect, however, every good Seeker has their trusty broom to rely on. Are you in need for a newer one?" Brooms had a lasting lifespan after all, but it didn't stop the fact on newer brooms tend to be faster.

Austin was glad that he had money left over. This would be his last (next to last, maybe he would go and get some sweets afterwords) purchase, so he didn't have to carry it around everywhere and risk it getting dirty before he even got to school. He could always clean it but not the point. Austin looked up, making a conscious effort to have eye contact.
"A Nimbus 4000 please."
Yeah. Nimbus' were always the best choice.

"The Nimbus 4000." The young lad came to the right place for one. "Excellent choice. Now I take it you have proof of your parent's permission for this?" It was quite a fast broom, after all. Consent was required after a certain speed threshold for legalities. Once he had the proof, it was all his.

The form levitated for a moment while he swirled the wand around checking all sides. Nothing seemed to happen with the form other than a soft glow before setting it back down on the counter. "Looks good lad. That'll be about 119 Galleons and nine Sickles." Then it was all his.
Austin nodded and took the money out from his pocket. Okay...a hundred and nineteen. That's a lot. He handed him the money hoping he made some kind of eye contact.

Excited eyes stared in wonder at the latest models of racing brooms on display. They were, unfortunately, far out of her price range and she had no relatives that she could ask for expensive things like top of the range broomsticks. A new broomstick was more than she could reasonably ask for from the Stemps for Christmas, not that it stopped her from putting that on her list every year anyway. It seemed like a lot of the things she asked for such as the fastest broomstick, a functioning pancreas, and a pet unicorn were simply things she could never have. Even so, Cordelia had been hard at work on the quidditch pitch all summer training for tryouts so she could hopefully make Gryffindor seeker again. There was going to be some stiff competition out there. Facing the competition against all odds was part of the fun, though. Cordelia loved the feeling of being the most important factor in the outcome of the match, the one who led the team to victory. Most of all she loved the thrill of the chase, the high speeds, the daring maneuvers, the excitement of not being bound to the earth by the laws of physics. It was her love of quidditch that drove her to be here in the quidditch supply shop, gazing upon her dream broomstick. Although she likely wouldn’t be getting that any time soon, there were still other supplies for quidditch she could get. A new pair of gloves, perhaps. Cordelia Grace Winklebleck was going to be fully prepared to outdo Carsyn and the others at tryouts. As much as she loved her friends and teammates, she was prepared to put up a fierce fight to keep her spot on the team.

While Carsyn should responsibly be researching books that offered helpful guides on passing her OWLs, instead she found herself wandering over towards the Quidditch Shop. Which was weird because as the owner of a Comet 1080, the was nothing seriously wrong with her broom. It was relatively new and trusty and fast, but yet it wasn't ... A Jollyrocket or a Nimbus. It was also weird for her to be wondering about this when truth be told she wasn't even sure how much she cared for playing quidditch anymore. She hadn't properly played since two summers ago when she played for the under 14 league, since she opted to go traveling this summer for a month instead of trying out for the under 17 league and last summer, well, she wasn't really sure. It also seemed like every year at Hogwarts there seemed some obstacle standing in her way, whether it was a wrist sprain or lack of quidditch. But who was she kidding? Just ONCE she wanted the thrill of being Gryffindor Seeker, as her father was ..... many decades ago.
Then she saw her. Ugh. Not only did Cordelia Winklebleck steal her spot on the team two years ago, but how in the name of Hippogriffs did SHE get kissed before herself?? Like a proper kiss, not just goofing around. Without even realizing she did it, she scoffed loudly.

Avalon couldn't conceal her excitement as she bounded into the shop, her parents on her heels, chuckling at their daughter's enthusiasm. It was finally time to get a new broom. She had wanted one for ages, but the timing never worked out. Although she made the Quidditch team during her first year at Hogwarts, she had to use one of the school's brooms. By the time her second year rolled around, she had saved up enough money to buy a Jollyrocket. But then they had to go to Beauxbatons, and Quidditch was suspended.
Avalon supposed that it worked out for the best, because now, she had saved up 133 galleons. Between babysitting for some of the Muggle children in her neighborhood and degnoming her grandparents' garden, she earned a good bit of gold over the summer. The best part was that her parents said they would chip in the rest if she wanted a Moontrimmer Dlite, partly as a late birthday present, and partly to reward Avalon for her budgeting skills.
Of course, Avalon spent hours researching the best Quidditch brooms before making her decision. And although the Moontrimmer Dlite was certainly the most expensive and prestigious, she was attracted to the reliability of the Nimbus line. Those brooms had been around for ages, and they never seemed to disappoint when it came to Quidditch. She gazed at the Nimbus 4000 model out on display, a smile spreading across her face. "That's the one," she said, turning to her parents with a nod.

Cordelia Grace Winklebleck was no stranger to being unwanted and treated with disdain. When she heard the scoff of one Carsyn Rose, there was no doubt in her mind of who it was directed at. Cordelia was never quite sure if she should consider Carsyn as her friend or rival. Usually some combination of both. At the very least she was competition for the position of Gryffindor seeker. She wasn’t jealous, per se, of the other girl though. After all, it was Cordelia who had earned the spot of Gryffindor seeker the past few years. There were other things she sometimes envied Carsyn for though. Carsyn had things that Cordelia didn’t: a sister, a functioning pancreas, and what seemed like a good life for instance. Even so, Cordelia could never quite shake the strange mixed feelings of the odd dynamic that shaped her friendship with Carsyn. ”Hello, Carsyn.” Cordelia’s intentions were friendly but the greeting came across with a slightly snippy tone. It wasn’t that she intended any ill will towards the other girl, but Cordelia had found over the years that it was so much easier to dislike people who she perceived as disliking her, push away people before they had a chance to reject her. It was easier that way.

It was that time of the year again where the students would be wanting to get the best brooms possible and the shop never ceased to provide it. While the previous year proved an unfortunate event with Hogwarts, Brad was pleased to see things get back on track to proceeding as normal. He had heard that Quidditch wasn't taking place at the french school, so that definitely meant an extra dose of enthusiasm for the sport.
Now, where exactly was Brad in the shop? At the front counter, naturally, cleaning some of the items displayed. He had a perfect view of the customers currently inside and arriving in so he could keep watch while multi-tasking. If they needed extra help he was here and if not, then that was just as fine. This was a safe haven for fellow Quidditch & other sports fans, after all.
Avalon spent a few more moments in front of the broom display, her fingers absentmindedly running over the sleek handle of the Nimbus 4000. She wanted to be sure that she was making the right decision. It was a big investment, after all. Eyes flickering to the shopkeeper polishing some items at the counter, the young Ravenclaw decided she would 'consult the expert' to help solidify her decision. "Hello there," she said brightly, approaching the man with a smile. "I've been saving for ages for a new Quidditch broom, and I just want to make sure I'm picking the best one. What are the main differences between the Nimbus and the Moontrimmer?" Besides price and all. "I read loads of reviews in The Daily Prophet over the past year, and I think I'm leaning toward the Nimbus. But you know the brooms better than I do!"
She glanced back at her parents, who seemed content to browse through the other merchandise in the store. At least she didn't have to feel too bad about keeping them waiting. This might be her biggest decision of the term.

Her broom was fine. She was fine. She'd just recently bought her broom when her aunt gave her monies as a reward for making the under seventeen and the way things were at Hogwarts, it seemed to be a trend that she was only playing quidditch during the summers anyway. Of course she still had the goal to play Seeker for Gryffindor at least once, but that seemed like a far-fetched dream than reality now, wasn't it?
But there something comforting that seemed to draw the Gryffindor sixteen year old to this very shop every summer... even if she didn't need anything new. Being seeker meant very little equipment required, except a fast broom. Even if it was to just stare at the newest broom arrivals and contemplate if it was worth trading her two year old broom in for an upgrade. Perhaps perusing Seeker Digest to see if they spotlighted her yet, which was another doubtful thing.

Despite the fact that she was certainly unable to afford any of the fancy new brooms and she didn’t really need anything in this shop, being the quidditch enthusiast that she was (and the last person to hold the position of Gryffindor starting seeker, a fact she would boast to any who would listen), Cordelia always loved visiting the quidditch supply shop. It reminded her of what could be. Sometimes she fantasized about being one of those star quidditch players on the covers of magazines such as Quidditch International or Snitch: The Magazine and racing through the air on a Nimbus 4000. However, in her heart she knew how unlikely that would be. Hogwarts hadn’t even had quidditch the past two years and she had only ever played for the recreational summer leagues. If she was to be noticed in a more professional capacity she would need to make the competitive summer league. Spotting Carsyn browsing the shelves, Cordelia couldn’t help herself but to bring up the subject of Hogwarts quidditch. ”Reckon they’ll let us play quidditch at school again next year?” If there was to be quidditch again, Cordelia was on for the battle at tryouts to be seeker.

Carsyn was only convinced that Cordelia was the last person to hold the rank of Gryffindor Seeker because the last couple years hadn't been conducive to her playing. It was something she would happily remind the younger lion of; she knew she had her own merits, playing for the national under seventeen team.
Speaking of Cordelia, there she was, of course because it seemed to be a trend ... and bringing up Hogwarts Quidditch, a subject that seemed more like a dream than something that would have happen. She only had two years left to achieve this goal and it seemed quite unreachable, if Carsyn was being honest. "I'm not overly optimistic about being able to play quidditch at school. But I'm always game from sprinting competitions, ya know?"

Why was he here? He wasn't playing Quidditch? Just with his uncles but that's for when he's back home in America.
His mom gave him enough money to buy whatever he wants BUT he had to make it last for the rest of summer. THAT WAS JUST RUDE! Maybe his mom had a point or was teaching him some kind of dumb lesson but he wasn't sure what kind of lesson it was. COME ON! He's twelve, he was given money and now he just wants to spend it like it's going out of style.
Mason walked into the shop and began to look around. It was his goal to me the best and most famous Quidditch star that ever was and ever will be. Maybe buying something wouldn't hurt? Hmmm....

Jude playing Quidditch? Yup. That was a thing. Or at least, it might be this year if he could really be bothered to put the effort in. Something that he hadn’t exactly decided yet but maybe coming to the quidditch store would help somehow. Then again, he was joining a new school with new people. Maybe Hogwarts would actually appreciate his fine flying skills and deft touch on a broom because clearly those in charge at Ilvermorny couldn’t grasp how good he was. Didn’t matter anyway. He was always too busy exploring to really train.
Walking in, even he couldn’t help but be drawn towards the brooms that were scattered around the shop. Sure, there was nothing wrong with his that he’d brought back home from America but there really was something about having a new one.
It seemed however that there was someone else in there who had the same idea too. A kid with an expression that resembled that of a goblin who had just come into some long-lost treasure. Without thinking, he quietly slunk over to the aisle behind the boy and bent down, doing his best not to burst out laughing “You should buy a new broom young one. Do it. It is your destiny!” he whispered, doing his best impression of someone ethereal and ghost like over to the blonde-haired child.

Mason couldn't take his eyes off of all the brooms. If he buys one he knows his mom is going to be so mad...maybe mad enough to ground him. That will never happen, he's a good kid but he did remember when she caught him sneaking through some stuff about his dad. He was curious and he knows that his dad played Quidditch at Hogwarts. Now he would just have to meet his dad...one day...hopefully soon.
Enough of that sappy stupid stuff, back to the important things in his life right now. QUIDDITCH! Yeah, that's what he needed to think about, that was more important than thinking about his father...the person he's never met. Quidditch, think about Quidditch.
Mason tapped his fingers on his lips as he kept walking down the aisle, he didn't know what broom or even what kind of broom he wanted. You know if he really went up against REAL players if he would be any good. He has never stuck to one position but that might be a good thing BUT he would have to be good at all the positions so he could get on a professional team in the future.
As Mason was looking around even more he heard a voice near him. "My mom might kill me...but I wouldn't mind buying one?" Mason said, his smooth southern accent rolled off of his tongue as he responded to the older kid. "Do ya have any suggestions from that older mind of yours?" he said as his twang was taking over more, he had a love-hate relationship with his accent.

Guess it was a little obvious that he wasn’t some ethereal ghost talking to the kid so, Jude stepped out with a cheeky grin on his face as he looked down at the kid. The accent its self wasn’t an issue for him. Some of his best friends back home in New York were from the South so listening to the Southern drawl of the blonde-haired pompadour, if anything, was somewhat refreshing from the brutish harshness of the British accent Besides, who was he to complain about accents when his was so thick and in your face, it was practically knocking you over with its harshness.
“Well kid, dere's not a lot your mudder can do if yuh buy one and doan tell huh, is dere?” an amused expression crossing his face now. He wasn’t intentionally trying to get the little munchkin in trouble. Merely, showing him a different way of thinking? Yes, both sides of the coin, as it were.
“Den again, if she does find out, yuh future is not lookin' too good. Right? But. Yuh with me?..who knows what'll happen. I sure doan I'm no Calchas” his hands in front of him now, going back and forth as if to demonstrate a weighing scale tipping back and forth. If it was him, he most likely wouldn’t buy it. Not because he couldn’t afford it but because he just knew it would just gather dust. Besides, there were plenty of other things one could spend money on if you were the right age, his mind wandering back to the tattoo and piercing shop that he’d spotted on his treks around Diagon Alley earlier. The kid thought he had it bad, just let him go home after the school year with a tattoo and see how Tina Lou MacAfee blows up like a puffer fish being poked.
And yet, he could feel the temptation. The thrill of doing something he wasn’t supposed to. An adventure. It was what he lived for.
