Holding the book , Quidditch through the ages under his arm, Daichi made his way over to the counter and waited in line. As he waited, he looked longely at the brooms in the back. Daichi seriously wanted one but because he had bought all his shopping supplies already he had no money left for a broom. The Slytherin sighed deeply as he casts his eyes away from the brooms. He could use a school broom at Hogwarts. They weren't the best but it was good enough to win a Quidditch Cup. Daichi was now smiling a bit stupidly as the line got shorter and it was his turn. Snapping out of his daze, Daichi placed the book on the counter. "Hello~" he greeted with a wave of his hand and a smile. "I want to buy this book" he looked at the brooms for one last time before looking back again.

Geez, there were just people, people, and more PEOPLE coming into this shop today. Finally, the larger students and parents cleared the way and a small boy was standing there waving his hand and smiling. Awww !! He probably wouldn't appreciate how adorable she thought that was, but Helena was thinking it anyway. She glanced down at her engagement ring and then back at the boy with a smile. "Which book, dear?" she asked, straining to see the book he was gripping so tightly in his arms.

"This book~!" Daichi held the book in the air, the Quidditch through the ages cover pointing towards the woman. He was smiling and his eyes where twinkling as he held the book in outstretched arms. If he had a tadaddaaaa sound it would have probably played at this moment. But of course, even people in the wizarding world didn't have them, siiiigh. "I heard it's a really good book!". That he couldn't read it because it looked so blury was another thing. But the woman didn't need to know that, Daichi wanted this book ever since last year but he forgot to buy it then

When he was looking at the woman, book still in the air, Daichi noticed that she was glancing downwards. Following her gaze, the Slytherin saw a beautiful ring on her finger. Looking awe'd , Daichi wondered if he could have one too~ . "WOW! That's beautiful ring!" He had blurted it out without realising it at first but when he did he blushed softly. "s-s-sorry..." he stuttered and placed the book on the counter.

Awww, he was so excited! It was one of the cutest things Helena had ever witnessed. "11 Sickles, then," she said with a smile. Heh heh. Dissssscount! She blushed very slightly at his words, but she was still smiling. "Thank you, dear. I'm quite fond of it myself." That she was.

Yes, Launna should have definitely NOT decided to buy so many things. She could almost see the shopkeeper's brain straining. She gulped guiltily. Launna wouldn't have had a chance adding this lot up - she could never remember how many sickles went into a galleon, and how many knuts made a sickle... all she knew was that one galleon equalled five quid. So when she heard the price of her items - 18 Galleons, 8 Sickles, and 7 Knuts - she knew she'd spent nearly £100. Ah well, it was her favourite shop after all... Launna tipped the contents of her purse onto the counter and counted out the right amounts of gleaming gold galleons, sparkling silver sickles and bright bronze knuts. 'Sorry about that,' she apologised awkwardly to the shopkeeper, handing over the money. What's wrong with a good old muggle shopping till? she thought to herself. Launna watched as, with expert skill , the shopkeeper deftly wrapped up the items and pushed them across the counter to her. She squeezed the bundle into her bag and then attempted to pick it up. And failed. 'Um...' she looked up at the shopkeeper. She wondered if there was some sort of charm she could use to make the load lighter. 'Could you help me here please?'

"11 sickles?" Daichi searched his pockets for the money. He grabbed a handfull and started to count the coins. But then he frowned. 11 sickles? He looked at the prizetag on the book and with a bit of desphering the blur it cleary said 11 sickles and 28 Knuts! Had the woman not noticed it? Or was he getting a discount? If it was the last part he rolled his eyes. Whyyyyy? was he getting discount or even free stuff? Daichi pouted. Not some time ago he had tried to pull off as a adult, yeah a twelve year old, and ordered a firewhiskey! Instead of getting mad they gave him TWO free applejuices! And now he was even getting a discount? Daichi wasn't a person that liked those things. Yes he was odd.

So instead of grabbing 11 sickles, he also grabbed exactly 28 knuts and placed them on the counter with a bright smile. "Thanks for the book~!" he said and bowed before skipping, yes skipping, out of the shop.

Even though Sage was a first year and couldn’t bring a broom to Hogwarts didn’t mean Sage banned from all things Quidditch, no matter what her older brother says. Sage had wanted to check out the brooms but she walked over to the Quidditch Magazines instead. In the end she picked up ‘Bludgers and Broomsticks’ and ‘Quidditch World’, and walked up to the counter.
“How much will this be?”

Help her? Help her what? Helena sure wasn't a caddy for all the kids who came through here. "Uhh, do you want another bag?" she asked uncertainly. What else was she supposed to do? Geez, oh man.

"13 Sickles and 21 Knuts," Helena said with a smile as she put the two magazines in a bag for the girl and passed them back across the counter to her.

Elle entered the shop and start looking around for the items she wanted..her mom had given her permission to simply choose whatever she wanted..since first-years were not allowed to have a broomstick, Elle thought they said nothing about magazines and books, so she said to the shopkeeper, "how much is everything?a rule book, Quidditch International, Snitch magazine and Quidditch World?".

Grumbling under the weight of all her bags, Lauren lined up at the counter, her arms filled with her Quidditch goods. She suddenly grinned and imagined getting on her House's team this term, and spending her school year playing some really fantastic Quidditch.
Of course, it probably wouldn't be that straightfoward, but, still, it was fun to daydream.
It would be even cooler if she and Orchid were sorted into the same House and then they would be Beaters together. Now that would be epic!

Grinning still, Lauren waited until the shopkeeper was free.

Well, really! Launna could have done it herself by now if she hadn't been underage. Well... probably not. 'Can't you... magic it lighter or something? I mean, the broomstick's light as a feather but the rest of it...' Launna trailed off helplessly as she attempted to heave the bag over her shoulder but only succeeded in making her face turn bright red. 'Please,' she added desperately.

Sage counted out the money before handing it over to the shopkeeper.
“Thanks!” Sage said before grabbing her bag and heading out the door.

Orchid stood in line holding her Quidditch supplies wondering which house she'll get into and if she can make the Quidditch Team. I hope Lauren and I get into the same house so that if we make the House Quidditch Team we don't have to play against each other. She thought to herself.

Helena looked at everything the girl had in her arms and quickly totaled it for her. "1 Galleon, 9 Sickles, and 20 Knuts, please," she said before she began bagging the items.

Aaaaaaaaand... "What do you all have, love?" Helena asked, as it was impossible to tell what was stuffed into the girl's arms with so many items in such a small space.

Oh, my goooooooooooosh. Who did this girl think she was? Maybe Helena should rethink things... she glanced down at her ring. "One day you'll learn the value of figuring things out on your own," she said after a brief moment. Then she started taking care of the next person in line.

"What do you have there, sweetheart?" Helena asked a girl waiting patiently for her turn as the front of the line finally cleared out.

Humphh! Launna narrowed her eyes and strode out of the shop, dragging her bag behind her and muttering darkly to herself about that curse of the bogies.

Lauren stepped forward to the counter, and placed the goods in front of her. "The goggles, Beater's bat, Broom servicing kit, a set of practice robes and the Locketbreaker," she responded to the shopkeepers question, and then gestured at the broom she had put aside like the shopkeeper said she would earlier.

Helena nodded slightly and pushed the broom over with the rest of the things the girl wanted to buy so that she wrap and tally them more efficiently. "It's going to be... 10 Galleons, 8 Sickles, and 28 Knuts," Helena said after a moment of math-ing with a smile.

Orchid turned as she set her Quidditch Googles, Broom Servicing Kit, and Beater's Bat on the counter and held her Firebolt 600 for the lady to see as she smiled at her. "I think this is all for me today."

Elle rummaged her purse and counted the exact amount she had to pay to Helena..she placed the money on the counter and took the bag of items she just purchased..beaming,she said to Helena "thank you and have a nice day to you!" before walking out of the shop..she couldn't wait to read the rule book and magazine..looking back at the shop, she saw Helena was busy attending to other customer..she thought Helena is really pretty.

Lauren handed the exact money over to the woman, returning her smile "Thanks so much, I'll let you know how the broom goes," she told her with a wink, and then Lauren gathered her purchases and made her way out of the store, but waited just in front, still in sight, for Orchid to finish with her transaction.

Amethyst was excited. She was about to purchase two things that could change her life. Quidditch Through the Ages and a copy of Quidditch World. These two things would help her with her wanting to know about Quidditch.

She gracefully walked into the line, smiling from ear to ear as she held the two items in her arms, waiting patiently, know that when she got her turn, it would all be worth it.

Helena snatched up the items to wrap them with a small smile and nod at the girl before her. When everything was wrapped and ready to go, she added up the items on a spare bit of parchment. "Altogether it's going to be 10 Galleons, 2 Sickles, and 28 Knuts," she said as she looked back up at the girl.

"What have you got, sweetie?" Helena asked the next girl in line, smiling at her and beckoning her forward after the people at the front of the line cleared out.

Amethyst smiled as she walked up to the counter fast. She placed the latest edition of Quidditch World and a copy of Quidditch Through the Ages onto the counter. "Just these two, Mam'!" She tried to contain her happiness, by doing a small dance in place.

"Here we go" Tyler said as took out his wallet and counted out the correct money and handed over 8 galleons, 4 sickles and 25 knuts. "Thank you" he said with a smile.

Orchid smiled at her and handed the money over as she grabbed her things and walked out of the store.
