As Maggie packaged everything up, she answered, "Together it's 3 Galleons, 4 Sickles, and 5 Knuts. And I'll need to take your name, love," she added as she pulled out the order list and a self-inking quill.

Kay counted out the money and smiled at the shopkeep. Yep a name would be needed. She shook her head. "Here is the 3 Galleons, 4 sickles, and the 5 knuts. The name is Kaytone Potter Evans. I will be at Hogwarts." She said waiting for her things. She wished she could stay and look but she had to get home before dark.

Maggie nodded silently to herself as she wrote down the girls name, not commenting on the Hogwarts fact. She had surmised as much, but there was no way she would be rude because of it. "Alright, everything should be in order - have a lovely day," she said with a smile as she handed the girl her bag.

"Thank you so much for your help. You have a nice day as well." Kay said picking up her things and putting them in her bag. Her cousin had given her thing bag. It was great it held everything you could think of and more. She walked to the door and out into the Alley.

Cosette had followed the Shop keep, her gray eyes scanning over more shelves and displays. She was hoping that when she got back to France, her father would be home so he could train her in the back fields. After she had broken her fourth beaters bat, she had been slow and neglected to buy another one. Low and behold, school was back, so she wouldn't have time to practice anyway.

Nodding at the price, she slouched her shoulder, sending her olive green rucksack off her shoulder. Fishing her hand into the bag, she dug out a few loose change. 5 Galleons, 3 Sickles, and 2 Knuts. She placed them on the counter before doing another rummage. Second go around. 8 Galleons, 5 Sickles, and 3 Knuts. Placing those on the counter, she dug in for a final time getting out the 8 Sickles she needed. Placing those on the counter and stacking them all up in neat piles, she pushed them towards the shop keep.

"This seems to be it." She gave a sort of soft smile. "Thanks so much." She picked up the bagged and wrapped items and gave the shop keep a small wave and headed out of the shop.

Still keeping her eyes locked on the broom, Alexei pulled out 6 galleons and laid them on the table. "Keep the change,"she smiled.

joe walked in and needed to buy Quidditch Through the ages and the firebolt 6oo and some other Quidditch stuff.

Amanda bought her stuff and left without a word because of her exitement.

Maggie saw a younger boy approach the counter with the usual excited look that the younger students had when entering. She smiled at him. "Is there something I can help you with?" she asked politely.

Luna walked into Quality Quidditch Supplies. Now this was a shop she was familiar with. Normally when her and her mother would come to Diagon Alley, she would stay in Quality Quidditch Supplies until her mother picked her up to go home. Apart from the bookshop perhaps, this was Luna's favourite shop. Lots of little boys her age were gathered round the new broomstick, Twigger 101. Luna wasn't old enough to have that broom yet though, and being a first year, she probably wouldn't get much use out of it, as most people didn't as a First Year, apart from that famous Harry Potter, who was around years ago. As she walked around the shop, she picked up various items. Those being The Broomstick Servicing Kit, Practice Robes and Quidditch Goggles. Now all she had to do was buy a broom! She walked up to the counter and asked the shopkeeper if she may have an Oakshaft 2010, whilst placing her items on the desk.

Maggie looked up - well, technically down - at the girl who approached the counter with an armful of supplies and asked for a broom. Maggie put her quill back in its holder and asked kindly, "What year are you, dear?"

"Sure," Maggie said with a smile, "Just a second please." She headed out into the shop and gathered all of the items the girl had listed and brought them back to the counter to begin wrapping them. "That's going to be 10 Galleons, 16 Sickles, and 23 Knuts, if you please," she added as she began wrapping the broom.

Cora dug in her purse and pulled out 10 Galleons and 17 Sickles and handed them to the store clerk, "Here you go. Keep the change." She picked her supplies and her broom and walked toward the door. "Thank you and have a good day!" She walked out of the store really excited about getting to play with her new broom when she gets home.

Luna walked up to the counter. "Hello, I'll have a Moontrimmer 1500, a Quaffle and Pratice Robes please," she smiled. She so excited because this was going to be her first broom. She couldn't wait for tryouts next year and she hoped to get on the Ravenclaw Team. "Oh, and a copy of Snitch:The Magazine please," she said. She pulled out her purse.

"Of course," Maggie said with a smile before gathering up the items the girl wanted. She seemed to be old enough for a broom so she said nothing - she definitely wasn't as tiny as some of the first years. "That's going to be 12 Galleons and 4 Sickles, by the way," she added as she began wrapping all of the girl's purchases in brown paper.

'I'm a first year, ma'am.' She replied back.

Uh-huh. Maggie had a hunch. Mental sigh. "Well, I'm sorry dear, but I can't sell you the broomstick. Everything else you mentioned is fine...." The 'if you still want it' was implied now that she had probably crushed this little eleven-year-old's hopes and dreams.

Jackson had been looking at the Twigger 101 for months. He walked to the front counter and placed his Broomstick Servicing kit on the counter and said softly. "I'd like to purchase this and the Twigger 101 please."

Maggie smiled. "Of course, just a second," she said before disappearing into the back for a moment and then reappearing with a brand new boxed Twigger 101. She began wrapping up the two items. "If that's all, it will be 12 Galleons and 13 Sickles," she said with a smile at the man.

Jackson pulled his purse out of his pocket and smiled. He counted out the gold and handed it over to the shopkeeper. "There you go. Oh I would like to talk to you about your Silver Arrow."

Maggie smiled as she took the gold from the man and put it in the till. Just about to tell him to have a nice day, he inquired about the Silver Arrow. Oh-ho? The smile on Maggie's face widened. "Of course.... why don't head into the back room to take a look at it?" Oh boy did she want this to sell.

As Maggie led the woman to the counter and began packaging the broom and service kit, she said, "Altogether that's going to be 8 Galleons and 15 Sickles, please."

Katie was jumping up and down in front of the door.

'Breath Katie Breath' Katie thought to herself, she took a deep breath and banged into the wall, she tried again and OPENED the door, she jumped once, she was so happy to get a broom.

EEEEEK!

She walked up to the counter and smiled, "Hello, can I please buy a Shooting Star broom, Quidditch Through The ages, Snitch, Quaffle, Beaters Bat, Quidditch goggles and practice robes?" Katie asked for, she hoped she had enough to buy all this.

Maggie smiled as a girl approached the counter and started rattling off what she wanted. "Of course, dear," she said before bustling off to gather everything the girl asked for. She came back, her arms ladened with everything and began packaging it up. "That'll be 10 Galleons, 6 Sickles, and 27 Knuts, please," she added as she wrapped up the broom in brown paper.

Katie looked in her pocket for that amount of money, luckily she still had money left over from Christmas, she handed it to the lady.

"Here you go, I hope thats enough, thank you" Katie says, she takes the stuff off the counter and walks off and opens the door.
