Ronnie's eyes popped. 18 galleons 11 knuts?! But her mother looked pretty calm about it. "Alright." she said, handing the lady eighteen galleons and eleven knuts. "There we go!" Marie said smiling. Ronnie's eyes rested on the broom. Wow. The Twigger 101! Marie looked down at Ronnie and smiled. What a birthday this was so far!

"14 Galleons, 2 Sickles, 28 Knuts," Helena said to the little girl in the midst of her wrapping up all of the items she wanted to purchase.

"Alrighty," Helena said as she wrapped everything up and totaled it. "9 Galleons, 11 Sickles, and 23 Knuts, if you please," she said with a smile to the very nice girl.

Alexis paid the shopkeeper."Here you are. Thank you for wrapping them up for me. I hope that the rest of your day will be a good one". She picked up her packages and left the store, heading towards Madam Malkins.

Kimalia took out the exact amount of galleons, sickles, and knuts needed to pay for her purchase. "Thank you ma'am, you have a nice day." After paying, she took a hold of her new Quidditch stuff and left with an even brighter smile.

So, apparently, he had to find the right broom. Well, considering the woman was busy as the shop got more crowded, he shrugged to himself and after a few minutes staring, he grabbed one of the Firebolts. Walking up to the counter, he eyed the girl in front of him making a purchase. So she also bought a broom-care kit... and the stuff here was pricey! But, considering this was the only shop around here, it made sense. Monopoly effect, so they have created. Shrugging to himself, he got out of the line to get that kit. If he was going to buy a good broom, he also had to take care of it, and he was going to buy all that was needed.

Thus, after another ten minutes wandering around the shelves to find the kit and googles, he was back to the counter once again. Smiling at the woman once more, he placed all the Firebolt, the broomstick servicing kit and a set of green googles on the counter, then went off to fish his wallet while the lady worked out the amount.

'Righty...' Rose said, as she extracted her purse, pulled out 8 gold coins and 10 silver ones, then handing them to the lady.

"That's 9 Galleons, 4 Sickles, 23 Knuts, please," Helena said, returning the boy's smile and wrapping up his three items. Boy, she was getting better at this math thing!

Making her way up to the counter, Sinead had to resist the urge to buy everything in sight. She was not the best Quidditch player, but how could she be, with cousins who hated the sport and no neighbors to have pick-up games with? Her love had to be focused on keeping up-to-date with the latest news, following her father to work whenever possible, and getting tickets to any games she could.

“I’ll just be having this, please,” Sinead said and placed the copy of Snitch: The Magazine on the counter. She peered in her money purse, trying to find the correct change amidst the clinking mass of gold and silver and bronze.

Helena looked down at the magazine and then smiled. "Just 6 Sickles as long as you have a cookie," she said after a moment.

Marcelo smiled, though more to himself, as he seemed to have got the sum right. At first, he had thought the calculatios of this money was hard, but now he got the hang of it.

Fishing his wallet, he handed the woman 9 galleons and 5 sickles as he took his package and stood one step to the side to allow the next customer place their stuff on the counter while he waited for the exchange. Which shop shoud he visit next?..

"I’d love one, thank you!”

Oooooo, yum! Cookies! Sinead selected an oatmeal raisin cookie and took a bit as she counted out the Sickles. It was worth more than the remaining 25 Knuts.

“These are delicious, did you make them yourself?” At home, the house elves cooked. Their food was delicious, but these cookies were so much better than theirs.

Helena put the money in the till and fished out his remaining Knuts of change. "There you go," she said with a smile handing to him with a small smile.

"Yeah, I did actually," Helena replied with a smile. She was glad they were going over as a hit! And that she hadn't let Lorelei bake them as she had offered.

The Reese family made their way inside the crowded Quidditch shope. Anna's older brother needed to find a new broomstick, (Anna's brother, Michael, plays for the Quidditch team he's a beater.) "Come on son, we'll find the faster broom there is!" chuckled Roger Reese, Anna's father. He too played on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team in his day, he was keeper. Anna was too amazed at this store, from the magical brooms to awesome quidditch books. Her and her sister, Emily, went over and looked at the magazines while her parents helped her brother find the perfect broom. Anna grabbed two books and a magazine for her brother as her and sister searched for their parents. "This is the broom!" shouted her older brother. They were looking at a Firebolt, typical Anna thought to herself. "Michael everyone owns a firebolt. Why not get an original broom" she teased to her brother. "Hey! You can get whatever broom you want when your not a little first year" Michael said. Anna stuck out her tongue at him while her mother tried to hush them up. They made their way to the counter with Michael's broom, books, and magazine. Her father was busy looking at Keeper's equipment when they called him over because it was their turn in line.

Placing the change in his pocket, he said "Have a nice day!" and nearly running into the next person, he got out carefully with heavy bag. Better to head directly to Leaky Cauldron first to drop these off.

Yes finally my favourite shop in all of diagon alley Luna knew what she wanted EVERYTHING in the shop but all she really wanted was a broom

The twigger that's what she wanted and maybe a magazeen! she walked to the counter with her twigger 101 and quiddiatch world magazeen she got out her purse and waited for the shopkeeper

"This it?" Helena asked with a small smile as she wrapped everything up. "That's going to come out to 9 Galleons, 6 Sickles, 27 Knuts, please," she added when she'd totaled it all up.

Helena looked down at the little girl who came up to the counter with a Twigger and refrained from sighing. "I'm sorry, dear, I can't sell you this broom unless you're of age," she said, pointing up to the asterisks on the sign.

“You’re a great baker,” Sinead said with a smile, her thick Irish accent seeping out around the edges of the cookie. “And thanks for the magazine, I know my sister will love it.” She added the magazine to one of her current bags – no need to make things more difficult for herself – and left the shop quite happy.

"Yup this should be it." Roger Reese said happily handing the shopkeeper the money. "Thanks Dad!" Michael said to his father racing out of the store with his new firebolt! "Yes thanks Daddy!" Anna said happily picking up her books and her brother's magazine. The Reese parents thanked the shopkeeper again and continued on their day in Diagon Alley.

As Roxana walked into the Quidditch Shop, she nearly felt home. All the brooms, the books and the lovely smell of... well, everything!
Her Mother allowed her to buy a new Broomstick and she already decided to buy a Oakshaft. This new broom should be one of the best brooms. For now at least.
With that broom, she might be able to play as Beater or Chaser in the new Slytherin Team.
Additional she wanted to buy a lot of other things and Roxana made herself a list already.
With a smile in her face, she went to the shopkeeper.
"Hello, I'd like to buy the new Oakshaft 2010. And a Serving Kit. D'you still sell Quidditch through the Ages and Quidditch International, because I'd like to buy both, too."
At home, Roxana looked through the price list and knew how much that would cost her, so she laid down 10 Galleons, 1 Sickle and 24 Knuts.
As she got her Broom, the it and the two books she left happily the shop.

"Not a problem," Helena said with a smile as she waved her wand and summon the objects requested. She wrapped them up and tallied the total without realizing the girl had already laid down the proper amount. "That will be--- oh, nevermind," she finished with a light chuckle as she picked up the coins which were the proper amount and put them in the till. "Have a nice day."

''Oh yes I know i'm just waiting for my older brother'' Luna replied and her brother was in the shop finally

''Oh ehh how much!'' asked Danny when he saw Luna already had everything

Launna walked into the shop and began picking items up off of the shelves. She couldn't believe she was finally going to have a real witch's broomstick! She didn't care how mcuh it all cost, she was getting the best broom she could find. About fifteen minutes later she dropped the heap of things on the counter and picked up one of the chocolate and raisin cookies, exhausted. She looked down at the pile of things she was buying: a rule book, Quidditch Through the Ages, a copy of Quidditch World, a broomstick servicing kit, some keepers' gloves and quidditch goggles, a beater's bat, three pairs of practice robes, a golden snitch and, last but most definitely not least, her very own Firebolt 600. She looked up at the shopkeeper and felt a tad guilty at making her have to add up all the prices of these things.

Tyler walked into his favorite shop of all, he looked around admiring everything he could see. This was the only shop, except maybe the one he had bought his owl in that he felt happy to be in. He headed to the counter, with a new broom, the Moontrimmer 1500, he'd been saving up just for that. He placed a copy of Quidditch World and a Broomstick Servicing Kit next to it.

Chris walked up to the counter with a new broom. " Hello, Right here I have me a Moontrimmer 1500 and a broom stick servicing kit. So how much do you need for this?" Chris asked. He was already putting his hand in his pocket to get the money out.

Helena shook her head as the boy walked up beside the girl. "He can't buy it for you either," she said, glancing over at him. "You can't own one, purchase one, or ride one. It's against the law."

OH my God. OH MY GOD. Sooooooooo many things to add together!! ...brain...cramping...ugh... "Altogether that's 18 Galleons, 8 Sickles, and 7 Knuts," she said when she had finally totaled it up. THEN she started to wrap. Finally, the easy job.

"9 Galleons, 4 Sickles, 25 Knuts," Helena said with a smile as she wrapped up the items for the boy. Phew. At least he didn't have thousands of items like the customer before him. Thank you, small child!!

Wow. Weirdly formal kid. Eh, whatever. It was a sale. And he seemed nice. "Just those two things? 8 Galleons, 15 Sickles," Helena said, giving the young boy a small smile as she wrapped up the broom and kit nicely for him. Hopefully he'd eat a cookie. More people should take a cookie.
