The Prize and Award table is set up for all to see. How do you receive these special items you might ask? As you entered tonight’s special event you were giving a ticket. Make sure you hold onto it, because towards the end of the evening there will be ticket numbers called and if your number is the one called you will receive one of the special prizes donated for the event by none other than your fabulous Diagon Alley Shops. That’s not all, the winning team of this evenings bowling will be receiving the shrunken head medals you see sitting at the end of the prize table. Special thanks to all the shops who graciously donated items.

OOC: Here are just a few things on how the prizes are going to work! After you post in the START HERE thread with your charrie(s), Govoni will edit your post with one of our festive raffle tickets! This will assign you a number (which will be randomly given using a number generator)! Once the ball has been dropped at IC!Midnight (Feb. 9th), look for an official post by The Chronicler with a list of numbers (again, randomly number-generated) and the prizes that have been won. Usernames will also be posted along side the ticket numbers!
Since it doesn't matter how many DA/MoM charries you play at this event, we are putting a TWO CHARACTER PER MEMBER limit on how many you may sign up to receive raffle ticket numbers. This is being done for OOC and IC fairness!

Christina Scott was here! Yes, she was...running around her bowling alley and checking....and then DOUBLE checking, to make sure everything was where it needed to be. People were already arriving and getting into position. Oh, how exciting! She'd had yet to host an event at this venue, though she wasn't a novice to hosting.
Pausing at the Prize table, she beamed at her little worker-bees passing out raffle tickets and checked for walk-ins. She'd posted a sign up list and announcement for bowlers...but Chris knew some people had difficulties getting out of the house just to come sign up...
Oh, two names.

Benignus entered the Bowling Alley, curiosity on his face. He wasn't exactly sure why he'd signed up to participate...but it'd looked like promising fun. Also, the lady attending the place had been a fox. So, who was he to say 'No'?
Accepting a raffle ticket from the people out front, he continued on his way, heading towards his lane. Silver Nundus meant Lane Four, if he wasn't mistaken. Pulling the piece of parchment, he double checked his information. Yes, that was correct. Lane Four.
Hopefully, taking the night off from his less-the-honest occupation would pay off...

Upon entering, Soheir immediately gravitated toward the prize table. She hadn't considered, when she signed up, that there would be prizes. She'd been doing it for the opportunity to make friends. Flish Flash effects nail varnish! She'd been meaning to try that, but since Adonis had been making it a point to be late with his child support each month since Cutty had started school, it made budgeting extremely difficult for the Egyptian witch.
She moved further in and began looking for others that were one the...Red Re'ems bowling team.
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.

Eb was reminding Val of someone, and it was creeping him out on the uncanny similarities. But Eb was a different person, so it was easier to be friendly with him. Now about that bet..
A month of drinks and being bald? Val looked at him conspicuously after that. Was that it? He was expecting a little more of a.. ruthless loss. Just as this guy was thinking of pulling away, Val held him back. "Make that two months of a daily shaven beard and drinks, then we got a deal." Loss of hair on the head was one thing to a man's pride, but the beard too? Now this truly became a man's game.
"And I drink more than blackcurrants.." Just a little hint on what to order Val once he won.

ALRIGHT! Stephen was ready get down and dirty!. Nothing beats a good friendly round of bowling among friends especially when the stakes were pretty high for the victor. well in his head they were ,he would have to see if fellow companion was game enough to accept his little challenge.
it would be interesting to say the least. he was already picturing all the bragging rights he would achieve once he won, not to mention the reaction of a certain female once she was told what she would have to do resulting her defeat

Stephen turned to see Karmen finally arriving,her walked seemed almost purposeful somehow to him. He wondered if she though she might have a chance at winning? if so this would be a very interesting match.

He guess now would be a the best time to see whether she was really ready to play.
"You up for playing with stakes?" now that he though about it she did seem like she thought she could win.
Oh how interesting this would really be. Stephen was definitely the type to go for what he wanted and when he wanted something he got it. He attributed that trait to being a slytherin which he definitely didnta have a problem. Slyther pride right?
