Lilyan Moretti was not stalking Lexi Carlton. Not at all. It was pure coincidence that the two friends found themselves in the same store at the same time.

"Oh not you again." She voiced, dropping her shoulders and holding back a smirk, "I thought I got rid of you back in Hawaii."

Hehehehe.

Lexi had just reached forward to grab a bottle of hair product when she heard an all too familiar voice. So familiar, because she'd spent nearly every waking moment of her summer vacation with the person that voice belonged to.

...and she'd still managed to miss her best friend in the few days they'd been apart. This was likely because Lexi knew Lily would be returning to Hogwarts soon--without her, at that. "Not me again? I do believe I was in this store first," she joked. "You ever used this before?" Lexi pulled the bottle she'd been looking at off the shelf and held it up for Lily to see.

"Oh yeah? How do you know that?" Lily paused in her perusing and put a hand on her hip, arching her eyebrow. Actually, Lexi probably had been there first, she'd even been in existence first, so... she technically won.

Lilyan glanced at the bottle, "Can't say I have, Lex. Does it smell good?" That was the first rule for any purchase, after all.

joey walk into the isles and wait for Selina to come get the things they she'll be needing next.i'll be getting you two types of Hair porducts chose the scent and then we will get the body lotion in two scents.there a things you can chose from too.

Selina pulled her thick, long red hair back in a pony tail. Giggling she returned, "I already bought hair care earlier in week and lotion. I think I'm good in that department."

okay then we are ready to pay we have a lot of make up so you won't run out at hogwarts.i'll go pay if you want you can she handed her 20 galloens.

"No it's fine. I don't care who pays." Selina pulled out 10 galleons and handed it to Joey, "But I do care that I pay my share."

she smiled okay i'll go pay she said with a smile.oh next is getting some outfits.

Lexi's gaze changed from the hair product to her best friend, and she just smiled playfully at Lily's question. Then Lil asked about the smell of the product, and up until that point, Lexi hadn't really thought to see if it even smelled good. Shrugging, she turned back to the product and lifted it to her nose, taking in the sweet lilac smell of the product. "Mmm, yes, it does," she said. A second later, she gently tossed the product into her shopping basket and started heading toward a different aisle.

"So, you ready for another year at Hogwarts?" she asked. Asking that question sort of made Lexi realize that she really didn't have any plans on what to do now that she was technically jobless. She'd had a few ideas, and even a few offers, but she wasn't too sure she wanted to jump right back into working so soon. If she could get away with it, she'd stay jobless forever. That was only wishful thinking, though.

"I'd better be."Lily laughed, following Lexi around to the other aisle. "After all, you lot left me friendless." She gave a great dramatic sigh, "I suppose Tate will have to be my new best friend." HAH. "Or..."

Pause.

"I wonder who the new Charms Professor will be." She added, stroking her chin thoughtfully, before tossing Lexi a grin, clearly teasing.

SIGH. Lily was going back to Hogwarts without her best friend. It was so sad. "Its always a little bittersweet at the end of the summer, because of Brysen. And Evander." She added thoughtfully, "Though recently, he's been quite busy."

Hearing Lily's comment about being left friendless, Lexi paused and turned toward her best friend with an apologetic glance. "Aww, Lil. You're not friendless. I'll always be here for you. You know that," she said. Lil was right in many ways, though. Things would definitely change, as the two wouldn't be able to see each other all that often anymore, but Lexi was determined to not let that change their friendship.

"...and you better not find a new best friend, Moretti! I'm irreplaceable!" Lexi continued, giving her friend a playful look on that last comment. She was serious, though. She hoped she and Lil would always be best friends, no matter how far apart they were. "I'll owl you often, and if Hogwarts has another of those Alumni Balls, you let me know." She paused as a thought occurred to her. "Wait a second. You said you lot left me friendless. Did someone else leave staff, as well?"

A sad look spread across Lexi's face as she realized that Lily would have to leave her son and Evander for another school year. It made Lexi's sadness over leaving Al and Ty seem not so unbearable after all. "I'm sorry, Lil. I know that must be tough," she said.

Lily shrugged, picked up some kind of conditioner, and sniffed it. Hmm. Nah. She put it back on the shelf. "You, Sage, Nolan.." Hmm. "I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting someone, but there was a lot of you." LEAVERS.

She shrugged again, Lexi shouldn't be sorry, it had been Lily's decision to take the job in the first place. "We've been doing it for the last two years now." She spoke of Evander, "The long distance thing, I think it works as well as it possibly could."

She looked at Lexi and laughed, "Two years seems like a really long time all of the sudden." The longest something she'd had since her marriage. She shook it off with a shake of her head and nudged Lexi's arm, "I sent them to a Quidditch match together, it went pretty well, from what they told me." Obviously she was PRETTY happy about it too.

First, Lexi just blinked, and then she diverted her attention to Lily with a rather blank expression on her face. "Sage left, too?" she asked. "...and Nolan?" This was the first time in a few months that she'd talked to someone about Sage, and even though it'd been quite a while, Lexi still felt her heart skip a little beat when she said his name.

She'd liked him. She'd liked him as more than a friend, yet she'd never told him. She'd never told anyone, come to think of it. Of course, that could be due to the fact that Hecate seemed to always be waiting for her around every corner, ready to throw her love for Sage, or whatever it was, right up in Lexi's face. "Oh," she finally said. Sage had left Hogwarts, too. Now, if she ever did find the courage to tell him how she really felt about him, she'd have no idea where to find him. This was the kind of thing she'd hoped to tell him in person.

Lexi's attention was drawn back to the conversation when the topic turned to Evander and Bryson. "I'm glad things are working out, Lil. Especially with the Quidditch match," she commented. "I know that meant a lot to Brysen and Evander...and you, too, of course. I'm really happy for you."

Wandering through the Primpernelle's Aisles, Aimée studied the potions and beauty products that lined them, stopping when she reached the perfumes; she needed a new one, that was for sure, seeing as she'd used the last of her favourite at home before she'd left. Surveying the bottles, she picked up a few and hesitantly smelled the testers.

Maybe she'd buy some from Boots or somewhere on the way home later, she shrugged mentally, sniffing at the necks few more bottles.

Beauty.

It was what the girl concerned her most.

How could one conceal an identity without the power of make-up? No no no, this visit to the shop wasn't to retouch her looks. But NO! Lola Jones was not going to be some cocky, conceited, make-up obsessed girl today because well, it was her first day here at Diagon Alley. That part of her merely forced her to go to this beauty shop and then buy some make-up and well, that's it, after that, she was free to roam for any more supplies. "La la la la laaaaa," she sang quietly, as she walked inside the store, wary of the surroundings.

Did this store sell wigs? Lola was about to find out, as she hummed her way through the aisles. My my my, these products were for those desperate ones... but she couldn't blame them, could she? She took out her list, determined to make this one a fast visit and read the make-up supplies for which she was to buy.

"Hmm. Oh wait! No... WAIT! That's the one... NO WAIT. Wait. Wait. Uh huh. Yeah."

Utterly. Clueless. /facepalm

So in hopes of making it fun, Lola moonwalked, walking back and forth, dancing her way around the aisle until--UNTIL she bumped into someone. Oopsy daisy.

Josephine liked pretty feely things.

And pretty smelling things.

And pretty tasting things.

And pretty looking things.

Basically she liked pretty things, not that she had anything against ugly things because it was like that book she'd read about that ugly duckling..quack, poor ducky. She sighed, thinking of the poor little ducky swimming by itself. Perking up a little she slowly and careful skipped into madame Primpernelles, feeling a little more upbeat than she had before. Kai had made her a lot happier, it was nice to see someone she recognised in a place where there were so many people she'd never seen before. The brunette girl made her way to the aisles.

She wasn't REEEEALLLY sure what she wanted.

But she wanted something pretty.

And she needed shampoo, maybe she'd get some perfume, and possibly some make up although..she didn't really wear make up that much; maybe she should start...or maybe not, she'd probably end up putting too much on and look like a clown or something. The third year stood perfectly still, looking at all the different types of shampoo there was too buy. She was just minding her own business and was too distracted to notice the girl dancing and moonwalking and all sorts when she bumped into her...EEP. Josephine fell backwards onto the floor, and sat there for a few seconds befoe registering what had just happened. "...ow." she muttered before looking up at the girl. "Im zorry, Im zo terribly zorry, I zhould've been looking where I was going, or where ...you were going but oui, im terribly zorry." whoops?

Lola turned.

A WHOLE 180 DEGREES.

OH MY GOD SHE BACK-SCOOTED MURDERED SOMEONE.

No. Wait. WAIT. She was breathing. And talking. Alright. Wait what was that coming out of her mouth? A lisp?!! No it was an accent. And then out of instinct, BAM. It was sort of like a trance just hit her. As if hit by an ethereal mystic being thingy. Lola just stared. She studied at her, studying every word and pronunciation. French. Merlin's beard, she was lucky. She wasn't going to just let this cute little French girl stay on the ground, though! "A--are you all right?! I'm sorry! I uhh," she wouldn't admit her dancing skills, "blah?"

Blah was the word for everything. "But yeah, sorry." To compensate, she quickly grabbed something from an aisle, and handed it to her. "I can pay for this if you want!" Oh wait. It was a hair removal potion.

Blink. Blink. Blinkity Blink.

It took the small girl a few moments to register what was going on, she wasn't very smart and she got distracted easily; so yeah, she was a bit shocked as to how she'd ended up on the ground so suddenly.

But it was okay, she'd been being bumped into and pushed around all day, just this time she'd landed on the ground and not into another person. Which....was probably better, right ? she was entirely sure but she was going to complain because she didn't like to complain. Complaining was against her nature. mhmm. It was. She looked up at the girl and smiled slightly, as the girl was...watching her as if she was some sort of puppet performing or something..which she wasn't. Nope she was not. "Oui, Im fine zanks. Im fine. Non, eets my fault. I zhould've watched where you were going." Not that that made any sense. Blah ? "Um...Oookay zen." she blinked.

She nodded understandingly, her smile growing slightly as the girl apologised again. "Eets fine, and non, you dont 'ave to buy me anyzing." Not that she wanted hair removal cream. hehe. "Im Josephine." she muttered, slowly pushing herself up off the floor.

LOLA LOVED THIS GIRL!

Her accent. Her first French friend! Her first experiment. "Oui? OUI OUI!" She repeated after her. Lola was excited, and still offering the hair-removal potion, she stared with delight at the girl's eyes. It was like after this realization that she wanted to become this girl's best friend. STUDY HER SOME MORE! But she had to act normal and try not to be all weird around this girl or she might run away and and and...!!!! NO. Just to make sure, Lola quickly grabbed this girl's hand.

Errrr. No she was chaining herself to this girl. French girls were rare, RAAAARE people to come across to in a Diagon Alley. "Oh you don't? Please, I insist!" Josephine? How French. How lovely.

Friend. Now.

"Josephiiiiiine?! I'm Lola! EEEEK. I'm so excited to meet you!"

Josephine like this girl.

She was like THE nicest person she'd met today, all the other people she'd fallen into had just like scoffed and pushed her away but she hadn't she'd been all helpful and OFFERED TO BUY HER STUFF. No one had EVER done that before, even if she was offering to buy her hair removal cream which she didnt need but still, it was the thought that counted, and She'd obviously put thought in to it. She nodded as the girl repeated Oui quite a few times. "Oui. Eet means Yes...incase you didnt know." because some people did, but some people didn't; so it was best to mention it just incase. And then the girl grabbed her hand, Josephine looked down at both their hands before shrugging, maybe that was what friends did she'd never had friends before so she wouldnt know. WAAAAIT. Whaaaat. Did that mean her and this girl were FRIENDS ? Thiswassoawesomeeee.

"Non, Im okay. You can keep eet. Im fine, 'onestly. Eet was an accident, you didnt mean to knock me over." or she hoped that she didnt. She smiled.

"Oui..Oh Lola. Zat's a lovely name." Eet was all unique and stuffs, Josephine like that. "Im exicted to meet you too." she nodded.

"Oui?" She questioned. "OUI!"

The French were geniuses for creating such fun words to say. Lola needed to win this girl over and become her friend. Maybe she'd even offer to teach her French lessons! Oh my that would have been a treat indeed. Her plan was working. She was going to win this girl over. With this hair-removal potion (aren't the French known to have... nevermind nevermind). But she nervously put the vial back onto the aisle. Hehe.

"Yes! It was an accident! Forgive me, Josephine? For thou shalt--" she was interrupted by something glittering a few meters before her. Oh yes, that was part of her list of stuff to buy. Lola quickly skipped towards the vial, and held it, her other hand STILL intact with Josephine's.

"Yes, very excited. So what brings you here today? Are you sure you don't want some money? I can repay you for the injury!"

Lola felt the need to become this girl's best friend. BEEEEESSSTTT friend. The best out of all her friends. Who offers money to their friends? That's right, see. Lola was rich. She could have bought this girl as a friend if she wanted to. Errrr.

"Yes." she nodded, trying not to be confusing and if she said oui again that would probably confused Lola, well it would confuse her so yeah, sticking to yes would be easier.

Josephine watched the girl, looking at her pretty hair and smiling, she looked down at their hands which were still connected and her smile grew. She liked Lola lots, she hoped they could be like super good friends because that would be super cool. She watched as the girl put the vial back on the shelf. She eyed the shelves trying to think of what she needed to buy........hair stuff. She neeeded hair stuff. Maybe she should start using the same hair stuff as Lola because she had super pretty hair.

"Of course I forgive you Lola." she smiled. "For thou shalt what ?" she was confused now and she didn't like being confused. boo hoo. She shuffled a few steps forward as Lola skipped away to get soemthing, she kinda had no other choice but to shuffle forward 'cos Lola still had a grip on her hand so when Lola moved Josey moved. It was kinda like they were some sort of package deal. For now atleast.

She giggled. "Um..I need zome 'air stuffs...And maybe zome perfume or zomezing...I like pretty zings." she nodded. "Non, Im fine. Eets okay, you dont need to repay me." she smiled, she couldn't really take money from Lola especially when mother and father had given her money to buy her supplies.

Josephine smiled, she wanted to be really super good friends with Lola like Chandler used to be with Leo..except they'd fallen out now, but she didnt wanna fall out with Lola cus Lola was nicey nice!

"No. OUI," Lola corrected, eying the girl, hoping she was still a French girl.

That was right. Do not go all anti-French on me, girlie. "Thank you, Josephine!" She gladly thanked the girl when she accepted her forgiveness. That was step one of the whole procedure. Get the girl's forgiveness. Become a friend (like they WEREN'T pshh). Then just continue to study and analyze this girl. Lola was inspired. This girl was the spark of her inspiration and thus, her hand gripped even harder. "For thou shalt uhhh..." What was that again? It was something concerning with Shakespeare but hmm. Oh well. "BLAH!"

This was not awkward at all.

"'Air stuff? Pretty zings? I LOVE IT!" Oh wait, that wasn't meant to be blurted out. "Yes, yes Josephine. Hmm. May I recommend you uh uh, Sleekeazy's Hair Potion? Very tameful." Not like Lola needed it, she liked her hair curly and untamed, but maybe Josephine took some interest. "You're French right? Tell me about yourself, Josephine. Your Frenchness!"

Apparently this girl wasn't so easily confused.

"Zorry, I just didnt want to confuse you zaying Oui all ze time." but she clearly was smarter than Josephine.

Josephine smiled as the girl thank her. "Zere's no need to zank me zough." she smiled again, nodding at the girl before quickly glancing over at all the hair products and pretty stuffs. There were so many, maybe she should buy quite a lot, just yknow incase she ran out or something. It was gonna be forever til she came here again, unless she came back later or something but she presumed it would be forever so getting a lot of stuff would be good. She looked back towards Lola and the smile on her face reappeared, she watched the girl waiting for her to finish her sentence but what she finished her sentence with wasn't expected. "Blah ?" she giggled. Was that even a word ?

"Oui and Oui. Me too" she giggled, atleast they liked the same things, that was an uber good start. "Oh reccomendations, zat would be really 'elpful, zanks." she smiled. "Oooh ookay, do you know where zey keep zat ?" Hope fully she did. Tameful ? She wasn't a lion, but she wasn't going to say anything. "Oui, I am French. Uh..Well..I was born in France, and I 'ave two older brothers. Chandler and Cyprien, but Cyprien didn't live with us, 'e lives in England with 'is son, Im ztaying with 'im over zummer actually. And Chandler goes to 'Ogwarts too." she nodded. "Zo, want to tell me about you now ?"

No, really, Lola didn't mind this girl's attempts of speaking English at all.

Accents were pretty. PREEEETTTTYYYY!

Again, she hit Josephine with a long stare. A looooonggg stare, as she was trying to analyze everything she's said. Yeah, Lola did this a lot. Her eyes were bursting out, wide open, so this stare could have really made Josephine a bit uncomfortable. She didn't blame him. Hmm. "Yes... hehe..." blah was an embarrassment. Curses. This conversation could have been way more easier if it was scripted.

Actually, why isn't everything scripted? Such preposterousness.

Was she actually listening to what this girl was saying? No. Lola was more interested in that accent. "Pardon?" Oh right. She was telling her basically her life story. Oh how close they have been the past five minutes! It was a BEAUTIFUL friendship indeed. "Oh you have...

"Interesting, interesting. Well, I'm Lola!" And that was that. Nothing else. She grinned, keeping an innocent face as she tried to drift away from the subject of Lola Jones. Errr. "Yes, well. Hehe. Can I call you Jo? Just wondering, Josephine. Lovely. I assume you go to Hogwarts?" Yes? Please say yes. Please say yes. PLEASE. SAY. YES.
