| | Office of the Editor-in-Chief Graphic credit goes to shanners The last door near the staff offices you will come to is the editor in chief. The name on the door might be quite long, but that name has sat in this office before. The name Jorge Cristo De La Garza sparkles on the gold name plaque, though the door might not even be closed. He does like to have an open door so that people feel more welcomed to come in if they need him. Though don't take his open door as an entrance for danger, no he had been attacked once in this very office so there are some protective charms at the door for anyone who isn't there just to report on news or have the next best story.
Walking into the office you can see that his wife had helped give it a woman's touch with the matching furniture and some pictures of his family. The desk has stacks of papers and notes scattered around, but it always has tea and cups waiting for a brainstorming session or a meeting here and there. A few plants to help with the air in the room and to bring the positive vibes for clear thinking. His fireplace sits off to the left so that flooing home or to the ministry can be easy access. If you have come into sit there are two chairs that are both equally comfortable for any guest he might have. |

Another owl had landed on her desk this morning, and this fledging journalist wasn't entirely sure how to deal with them anymore. Her article on the Hogwarts play apparently hadn't gone down too well, and whilst she welcomed criticism (she dished out plenty of her own in her reviews), they were starting to get a little personal. She was pretty sure that these people didn't care that she hadn't wanted to put the victims names in, nor that she wasn't actually on the investigative team (assuming there was one) at Hogwarts.
Letters in hand, Opal approached her boss' office. "Knock knock," she said to announce her arrival. The door was already open, but she wasn't one to just walk right on in. "You got a few minutes, boss?"

"You got a few minutes, boss?" He had been sitting at his desk working on a new column that he was hoping to get running soon. He knew that Diagon Alley was one of the main places to shop if you were a Wizard, but it was 2094 and new ways that were easier for busy witches and wizards were popping up left and right, so helping the shops get a spotlight was something on his mind.
He had moved some papers just as he saw someone coming closer to his door. Glancing up he gave a small nod and a wave to come in for Opal and saw parchment in her hands. He had been getting plenty himself though his stack was in the rubbish bin without another thought.
Sitting back in his chair he gave her a welcoming smile, What can I do for you?

She stepped through the doorway at his gesture, and placed the owls on his desk as she sat down in one of the chairs. "These," Opal said with a sigh. "I keep getting them, and I don't know how to respond." She'd tried ignoring them, but clearly that wasn't working. She was using to trolling and harrassment in the comments section of her blog, but this was a whole new level. "I was wondering if you had any suggestions?"

| Puff by day, snake by night | Mj's bestie | Always UP to Something... He knew what it was going to be about, as soon as he saw her hand he had known. In all his years working in journalism, he was used to these things. People were never happy. It was all in how you presented the material and they knew what they were doing, whether the public thought so or not. "You don't do anything. If we need to address the public because someone gets a lawyer involved then we will, but for now, just have all your owls for her forwarded to me and I can go through and take out all these responses. " He shifted in his chair, "We had to trust the school, they are to get the permissions from the parents to be allowed to use photographs and name students in public places, so if the Headmistress had given the names we have to assume she had the permission to announce underage wizards."
He pulled out a piece of parchment and wrote a few things down. "If you would like you can send this to the owls you have gotten and it gives them my word that we had the schools permission and that all questions might need to go to the Headmistress if they feel these permissions were not allowed."
He hoped this wouldn't scare her off of writing because he did like the story and thought she was a great jounalist.
