Corbin's rare visits to the UK were getting, well, less rare. After the time he'd been and argued with his mother, he'd realised how much he actually missed it, particularly his family. Which was definitely not something he'd ever have thought would happen a few years ago.

With the twins at his parents, no doubt being spoilt rotten and dressed up by Auntie Ocky, Corbin had popped out to Diagon Alley. Quite literally, if you considered the noise made while apparating.

He had things to pick up for his parents, as well as some stuff to take home. And maybe a gift or two for the newly engaged Saffron and Albert.

WHY was she in Diagon Alley? The true reason she would absolutely deny but she was currently on a strut trajectory towards the Leaky Cauldron, so do with THAT what you will.

Her hair looking particularly silky as it draped around her shoulders and hung to her waist and she had just had her nails freshly manicured. Self care was so important when one was going through a divorce that absolutely was entirely her fault. Remorse? Didn't know her.

Flips her hair as she passes a few gentlemen who clearly recognized her from somewhere and had paused to gawk - they were welcome - and happens pass by in front of him. Corbin. Her first in a few ways. Though her round brown eyes were hardly drinking in anything but herself at the moment.

The gaze that was focused on his watch was drawn upwards as he watched a familiar figure walk past. The gawps of fellow Diagon Alley patrons weren't missed, either, although his own face settled into something of a bemused smile. Had she not noticed him, or was she waiting for him to acknowledge her? The latter would not have surprised Corbin in the slightest.

"Well, well, well, look who it is." Corbin ruffled his hair as he fell into step beside the model. "Sachiko Shiradou-Morrison. In the flesh."

And then she heard his voice and it was a familiar one yet a foreign one at the same time. Like one of those from a bad dream you tried to forget. But still, she pivoted on point as she would do were she walking a runway and gazed upon whoever it was that was saying her OLD name.

"Black, actually. Sachiko Black. At least until the paperwork goes through and then it will just be Sachiko," she said dismissively with a wave of her hand. "Divorces are such nuisances."

Truth be told, Cora wasn't the biggest fan of Christmas shopping. In her mind, it was just fuel to capitalism and overconsumption. Not to mention she just good at giving gifts; her mind was often stuck on anything potions or alchemy-related and more practical matters, not on seeking out toys or trinkets that'd end up misplaced, broken, or thrown out in the inevitable future. But there she was, back home for the holidays from her semester away at Cairo and wandering past Diagon Alley shops in search of gifts for her family and close friends.

Thankfully this year she had her sister-in-law there to trail along with and rely on. It was genius, really, setting up this shopping date. Hady was drastically better at it than she was, which was bound to work in her favour. With her help, there was no doubt that Cora would be dubbed the cool aunt for a change this year.

"Where to first?" the blonde asked, casting a glance over to the brunette. She, having missed Britain's winter weather not one bit, was eager to be somewhere warm.

Shopping hadn't always been high up on her list of favorite activities to do. Marriage and children had changed that for her though over the last nine or so years. The moment she had learned she was pregnant with her first child, who was now an eight year old!, she had gone out shopping for everything that could ever be used for a baby. With four children now there was always something that they needed. Not to mention all of the siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews they had in their family. Shopping was a big thing now.

As much as she loved her little ones, it was extremely nice to not have four extra pairs of hands grabbing at everything. It was even nicer to have company in the form of her younger sister-in-law. Looking around at the frosted shop windows, she tried her best to remember what all for shops were around this part of Diagon Alley. That proved to be a bit of a flop. All she could remember was the robes shop, Flourish and Blotts, the apothecary, and Scribbulus. So that wasn't really helpful, unless they happened to be shopping for her.

Naturally, her mind then went for the next logical thing. "Let's get the kids out of the way," she replied. "As many as we can anyway. Between your and Franks' army, then Grace and David's, and everyone else's kids..." There was no need for her to go on. She knew Hady was well aware of how big both their families were.

Hadleigh could practically see the wheels turning in Cora's head right then at her question. It really wasn't that difficult of a question either. A no brainer really. Adults or children. That was it. Very easy.

Although she had to admit that some of the shops here might not be the best to shop in for some of those on their list but it's what they had to work with today. "Great! I promise you, the kids are always the easiest ones to shop for." Seriously. She had a way of walking into a shop and getting the children waaaaaaay more than was necessary because how could she not? Those four little monsters at home were her world and spoiling them rotten was what a mama does.

"Well at least Frankie and I aren't having anymore?" The brunette laughed. Four was good for them. They were already outnumbered. Unless they decided to adopt sometime in the future which she wouldn't be completely opposed to but that amazingly handsome husband of hers might be. "Let's get started. She nodded in response to it being said that kids were easier to shop for. She was giving her sister-in-law the benefit of the doubt here. Cora didn't finding shopping for anyone to be easy, kid or not. But, given Hady's track record of gift-giving and experience with motherhood, the woman must've known what she was talking about.

A laugh did escape her mouth when Hady mentioned that she and Frankie weren't planning on having any more kids. Was four really the maximum? It seemed like they had no plans for stopping any time soon, given their track record. But, alas, she could see why her brother and and his wife were ready to stop. While she loved her nieces and nephew, she knew they (especially Logan.) could be a lot to handle -- she experienced that first-hand the one time she babysat.

"Probably for the best. Have to give my sisters an opportunity to catch up to you both." Notice how she excluded herself from that. Ahem. No matter how much her mother wanted another grandbaby, this time from her, Cora just ... no, just no.

Anywaaaaaaay. Toys for the kids is what they were after now. "Sounds good to me. Lead the way!"

Hady couldn't complain about her gift giving. In recent years she had gotten much better at it, really being able to choose things that spoke loud and clear to her for whomever she was currently shopping for. The more she had gotten to know Frankie's family in all of the years they've already been together, the easier it was. Though there was still that small handful of people that still always puzzled her and made her really put serious thought into what to get them.

Cora's laugh made her smile and she couldn't help herself from asking randomly, "So when can we have you babysit for them all again? You know they miss their auntie Cora." There was a hint of a smirk on her lips showing that she was teasing around. Maybe. Any chance she could get a break for a bit, she was taking it! As much as she loved her babies, she needed a break too. Nova and Melody were really good girls now that they were getting older but Logan was still her little Wolverine. That kid was everywhere all at once. And Bryony, at almost two knew how to play the 'I'm the youngest' card to the fullest already. Not to mention she was Logan's shadow and a biter!

Hady laughed fully at this. "Catch up to us? Oh, they can catch up and double what we have and I'm not having anymore." She was done. Four was enough. Just taking her own siblings and younger cousins for a day so they could spend time with her kids she ended up with twelve kids. It was insanity. This wasn't even including all the Paton nieces and nephews.

"This way. There's a shop close by I know the kids love." Thank you, Frankie for bringing the children in there often enough for them to have a constant up to date list of things they all 'HAVE TO HAVE'. The list of items that was currently folded neatly inside her bag.

It was, presumably, obvious on his face - shock mixed with bemusement as he took in the flurry of information. She didn't seem to have changed much - a thought that had his own unchangeable lopsided smile settling onto his face. "Divorce, eh? Who's the unlucky sap?" he couldn't help but enquire, wondering how on Earth they'd managed to convince Sachiko into the establishment of marriage and what had gone wrong.

His imagination was running riot.

When the question about babysitting came up, she couldn't tell whether she was joking or not. The smirk that was on her sister-in-law's face indicated it was all in jest, but Cora could only imagine what Hady and her brother would do to have just one night away from their kids. Just one night in charge of their care was enough for Cora to understand that parenting wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

"You might be better off getting your mum or mine to watch over them," the blonde responded truthfully. She knew she would be fine with the older two, but Logan was just too much to handle and Bryony probably still required diaper changes. Sure, she was smart and would probably figure it out, but children were a whole other matter in comparison to the safety of her world of potions and alchemy.

She couldn't help but roll her eyes as a grin played on her lips at Hady's comment about not having anymore kids. "Better knock on some wood then" was all she had to say on that matter as she trailed along after her in the direction of the toy shop.

Get her mum to watch the kids. That was an option but she was sure her kids would walk all over that women like she wasn't even there. "I could. She has her own bunch to deal with though." The triplets were nine now however so at least they could be of some help. "I can't believe Luna and Lukas started Hogwarts this term!" How had they just turned twelve on Halloween?! It was crazy and scary. The older those two got the closer it was for her oldest daughter to go to Hogwarts as well. Now that was something she didn't want to think about!

Hady shook her head laughing. "Give me an entire forest!" More kids weren't on her agenda. It knocking on wood would make that so then she would knock on every bit of wood she came across. "The shop if just up ahead but if you see anywhere else you want to stop at just say so." Sure enough up ahead was a toy shop, Christmas lights twinkling around the front windows.

It really was a shocker that she simply didn't reside in the maternity ward of the hospital, which was honestly the last place Cora ever wanted to be.

It took a moment for the blonde to map out Hady's extensive family tree in her mind as they continued on their way. Initially she wasn't sure how to respond to her statement about Luna and Lukas. She just couldn't relate to the feeling of being a mother sending or soon to be sending their children away to Hogwarts. "Time flies, I suppose." To be frank, she couldn't quite believe that both her eldest nieces, Narcissa and Nova, would be old enough to head off to school in a few years.

A laugh followed after the mention of an entire forest. A bit extensive, but nevertheless Cora was amused. The thought was fleeting though as the toy shop came into view. "I wouldn't mind stopping in Flourish and Blotts at some point. No rush though." There was a new alchemy book she wanted to get her hands on, but shopping for the kids was priority.

Yes, she did unfortunately recognize that smile of his and remembered a time when she actually had allowed that smile to make her feel things. That had been a mistake, obviously. But whatever, water under the bridge and off a duck's back and whatever. She also was not going to dwell on his phrasing of 'unlucky' and whatever implications there may or may not be there.

"No one you would know," she scoffed casually while examining her fresh manicure. Though obviously being from the Black family had it's own implications and yes, he would be correct in assuming that they were wealthy. "Still enjoying your life as a neutered crup?" Hmmmm? All BORING and domesticated, as so many of her former circle were these days.

Time was a weird thing. To her it honestly wasn't moving fast enough. For a moment she considered Hady's perspective. In the end, she assumed having children made time go by quicker for a number of reasons - watching little things quickly grow, having to deal with all their shenanigans, etc. "You might want to give Hogwarts a heads up about Logan. Give them time to prepare in advance for the chaos he's bound to bring," she suggested, knowing that nephew of hers was quite a handful and was bound to get himself into a lot of things he shouldn't.

Cora nodded when it was stated that the book store would be their next stop. Her mind was already thinking about the alchemy book and other possible titles, but she she was soon distracted once she entered the toy shop. The attack of colours and whizzing and whooshing noises were a lot to take in. "So, uhh, where do we start first?" She hoped that Hady had a list because this was ... overwhelming.

Nova and Melody have grown out of that whiny bratty stage and they don't torment one another as much as they used to." Mostly. Sometimes. Logan knew he was the only boy and he made it known that it had to be his way, all the time.

While she didn't think she had been spoiled when she was a kid, she knew that she had more than others due to her parents wanting the best for them, which extended down to the grandchildren. Another nod followed, unsurprised about the girls. Girls in general just matured significantly faster than boys.

"Seven years is probably not enough," she grinned. "Though some sort of heads up is better than none at all. I mean, imagine all the shenanigans he'll be getting up to. Let's just hope he doesn't end up in Gryffindor like Frankie." The odds were very high of that happening, but Cora knew that the sorting could be unpredictable at times. Her nephew was certainly going to be a wild card.

The blonde watched as her sister-in-law searched for the shopping list. She always appreciated how prepared Hady was with these things. It greatly satisfied the Ravenclaw in her. Had she been with Frankie, well, that would have been a chaotic nightmare; she knew he'd just grab whatever tickled his fancy. But this list, which she gladly accepted without hesitation, was going to be her saving grace. "Alright," she said, taking a moment to read through the list (internally judging some of the items that were on it) before walking down one of the aisles.

Like most parents would admit at some point in time, their children could occasionally be a handful. When those moments were over however and her children lay peacefully asleep in their bed, Hady couldn't help but smile and all of the troubles of the day seemed to melt away.

Seven years is probably not enough. The brunette laughed. "I'll have to make a point to owl the school as soon as possible." She was mostly joking. Logan was very much a high energy child. If he wasn't being watched every second of everyday, who knew the trouble he could cause. "Logan being sorted in Gryffindor wouldn't surprise me in the least. He's certainly his fathers child." Sorry Frankie. "As for the girls... I'm not quite sure where they will end up." It would be nice if one of her four babies ended up in Slytherin like she had.

"It's only courteous," she shrugged, that joking grin still on her face. "Maybe they'll have enough prepared by then to keep him busy." If she recalled right, her brother still managed to get into enough mischief even with all the homework, occasional detention, and then student leader duties he had to do. Even in her school days, Cora did find plenty of time outside of her studies to do whatever she wanted.

For a moment she tapped a finger on her chin. She had to admit it: Frankie and Hady's kids were not easy to pre-sort. "I'm willing to bet Gryffindor for Logan. Maybe Slytherin." The blonde shrugged, agreeing with Hady's comment about the girls. "Hard to say right now though. But the odds are in favour of Gryffindor or Slytherin if the apple falls from the tree." Even then, it was a lottery game. She knew that was the case in her family with everyone being in different houses.

Her eyes glanced up from the list when Hady said that most of it would not be leaving the shop. Cora assumed as much. As for the item she was pointing at... "Merlin... let's not even entertain the idea. Though ... this seems like something Frankie would want. Sure he didn't write that down and just slap Logan's name next to it?"

"A good solid warning of things to come would only be fair." Hady couldn't agree more with this. "I might have to write out a detailed daily plan and ask them to stick to it with him." She was joking as well and her quiet laughter showed that. Although she had learned that structure was very helpful with children but it wasn't always easy to do. Logan could have something to do from the moment he woke until he fell asleep each night and he would still find a away to get himself into mischief. "Hopefully he settles down a little before then... but he is his fathers son."

Hadleigh laughed. "I wouldn't be surprised one bit if Logan gets sorted into Gryffindor or Slytherin." The little boy could fit nicely into both. "All of the houses could work for Nova and Melody." Now that they were older their personalities were shining through. Such sweet, smart, loving girls those two were. As for Bryony, she truthfully had no idea as of yet being she was still so young.

Cora asking if Frankie wasn't the one to add the item onto the children's 'wish list' was a curious thought. One she wouldn't put past him at all. "That... is actually a really good theory and I wouldn't be surprised if you're right. Some of the things he suggests sometimes... you would think he's buying things for teenagers." The husband always meant well and he was a wonderful father buuuuuuuut he was a big kid himself at times.

He could not believed that he had agreed to do this. Well, more like forced to if he had to say so. He suspected that this was a little revenge from his father for refusing to take over the family company. Minjae looked down at his little brother and sighed. It was his first time seeing Diagon Alley and it showed as his eyes darted left and right trying to take everything in at the same time. "I expected more" Daniel said as he let go of his older brother's hand and crossed his arms over each other. A sign that he was not impressed but Minjae knew that he was only pretending. He knew his little brother better than anyone else. "Stay close to me, you're my responsibility now so don't go wander off" he said. He noted that Daniel was rolling his eyes. "Fine, whatever. Where can i get a wand?" Minjae sighed and shook his head. "You need to wait a few more years till you can get a wand" "WHAT? that's lame!" For the first time, Minjae agreed with him as he looked around. Someone please distract him from baby sitting T_T

Speaking of brotherly love, Noah AND Evan we're exploring Diagon Alley together. As much as it was fun to go with the girls too, Noah was really enjoying the time he was spending with Evan. Maya was good too. She was responsible. However, he always worried bringing Lisa with him because she would wander and get lost. That was something he didn't want to deal with because if she got lost- he'd feel horrible AND he'd most likely be grounded.

"Thanks for coming and exploring with me today," he said as the two headed down the street. He wanted to make a day out of their adventures especially once he learned everything that Evan had done to help him while he had been stuck at Hogwarts. His younger brother had forged letters on his account to keep the ruse up. That was the only reason why Lisa hadn't been super mad at him when he finally returned.

Up ahead, he overheard a familiar voice. Wait. Was that his dude, Minjae? He glanced around, finding the sound of the voice up ahead. Turning to his brother, he nudged him slightly. "Look. That's Minjae. He's a good friend. Looks like he's here with someone too?" he grinned. Was that his younger brother? Daniel? Darrick? Dereck? Danny? Whoever it was- the younger boy didn't look impressed. Maybe he and Ev could help? Maybe? Anyway, Noah was excited to catch up with a friend. "Minjae! Hey! What's up?" he asked as he approached the duo up ahead. "This is my brother, Evan. He'll be coming to Hogwarts this year."

He was trying to not show JUST how ecstatic he actually was right now that he got a day in Diagon Alley with JUST Noah. Clearly, he loved his sisters and appreciated their company whenever they were with them too but he had a million and one questions he wanted to ask now about school and he didn't want to bore the girls although Maya would have ALSO been curious. Plus, while he'd been able to do a lot of exploring, it was fun to get to do it with his older brother.

He wondered briefly if when they were at school they'd see each other often at all.

Hearing him THANK him for coming, Evan raised an eyebrow slightly but still beamed. "I'm glad to! I can go look at the book store again and double check that I have everything I need!" Y'know, even though this would be his THIRD time doing that. It never hurt to be well prepared though, right?

But before he could immediately beeline for the book store, or the candy shop, Noah was distracted by seeing someone he knew and Evan looked with interest at the boy and his companion. Another wizard, huh?? One that was already at Hogwarts?? So far he'd only met people going this upcoming term. It was kind of fun to meet another veteran Hogwartian! "Minjae. Okay. Is he the one you mentioned playing video games with?"

He followed after his brother, remaining quiet as Noah started his pleasantries and offering a small wave when his name was mentioned
