She gave Thomas a grin as she picked on Arista for being late. "I'm glad you like them! I did bake them. I love baking! I wont get to when I get to Hogwarts so I had to get my baking fix in before we left. Plus Spence needed to try the goodness of my cooking. She laughed as she grabbed another bag of goodies out of her bag handing it to Arista. "Would you like some? I warn, They have nuts in them. And eggs."

She walked to Spencer's side and grabbed his hand as she threw her bag over her shoulder. Her suitcase was still on the ground beside them. She was excited about starting her first year. Especially if the people she met in school were as nice and as awesome as the people that were standing around her.

Spencer felt hope intertwined her hand in his, he gave it a gentle squeeze and gave her her a soft warm smile. He couldn't wait to go to Hogwarts, he couldn't wait to make new friends and start using magic, it was going to be a great year!

Someone rammed right into the cart she was sitting on. Jenna lost her balance and was knocked right off, though fortunately managing to soften her fall a little by landing on her hands. So no bumping her head or anything, thank Merlin.

Might not be able to say the same about the other person groaning on the floor though. Erm.

She pushed herself to her feet, dusting herself off. "I'm okay...I think. Are you all okay?" The kid - Benton? - looked unharmed, it was Kaleb and the other boy that she was somewhat concerned about.

"I'm Jenna," she added, since the younger boy had introduced himself and his brother.

You know good and well that you shouldn't be standing on there. It isn't safe.” And then she looked at Tenacius “And this is not time for racing trolleys. It's very crowded and busy, and you could have hurt yourself, or someone else.”

“And this was left at the entrance.” Kara jumped in to add, finding it only proper to chide her sister. Seeing as she wasn't all motherly like Em. “Someone could have run right into it coming through the barrier. Mom and Dad would be really upset if you hurt someone.” she frowned. Their parents deserved better.

“I'm sorry.” Sammy said hanging her head and getting down. “I didn't mean to, I was just excited. Plus, Spacey left me.” She went over to Kara and got wrapped in a hug. And told each other their goodbyes. Both of them trying not to cry, and Sam promising to be good and safe. She had always hated when Kara had gone off to school

As Emmaleigh observed the two girls, she gave a small smile, and felt a pang of sadness. “Tenacius,” She said taking his hand and pulling him aside, letting Sal come if he wanted to. Kneeling down, she gave him a sad kind of smile. “I love you,” she said quietly, setting her hand on his little cheek. “More than you can possibly know. And I'm going to miss you so much. You promise me you will be safe, okay? And stay out of trouble?” The young woman pulled him into her arms and gave him a tight hug. Not caring if it embarrassed him. She really was going to miss their little one. Things were going to be quiet with out him at home. “I have something for you.” She said quietly, letting him out of the hug, and giving him a small package wrapped in brown paper and tied with twine. “You can open it later if you'd like.” She gave his head a kiss, and gave his hair a ruffle before standing up. She reached out for Sal's hand to hold.

Bring herself to a stop, she bumped into Mel's trolley. If it wasn't all the way against the wall before, it was now. “Hey! You got here early.” She leaned against the trolley. She was gonna just ignore the fact that Ace had left her. Glancing at the not Mel, she asked,“Who are you?”

Emmaleigh, entered through the barrier behind the kids, only to find Samantha's trolley just in the entrance. She frowned as she moved it out of the way so Kara and everyone else could come through. She didn't even have to stop to scan the crowd. She heard the commotion, and knew. She just knew. Luckily for both of her charges, she had missed seeing them in action. “Come on.” she said to her other sister, as followed their path and apologized to the people they had run over. She stood in front of them and waited, with Kara close by her side.

Mel just laughed when she heard him say his hair was blonde. It wasn’t blonde it was ice. She was sure of it. Mika had blonde hair when it wasn’t pink or well any of the colors it turned when her emotions were wacky she was sure icekid was just going to run off but he didn’t.

Ace, this is…guy with ice hair.” She indicated and shrugged. “I don’t know his name yet.” She admitted with a laugh. And then she heard the voice of Ace’s watcherlady…mom…she was his mom now right?

“Hi Emmmmy” she beamed up at her as she was still quite short from the confines of her trolly. Standing up she even managed to give Emmy a saluted the older redhead. “Finn said to tell you sorry I couldn’t make it…if Mel’s any trouble let me know” she grinned, “I’ve not been trouble.” She nodded enthusiastically even though obviously Emmy was smart and knew.

And then Space-Ace was being pulled away by Emmy and it as the touchy feely mum time…that’s what that looked like right? ”I wish I had a mum-person” Mel huffed as she stood there now fully on the ground. “Sammy where on the train do you want to sit?” She asked immediately plastering her happy smile on her face. After all it was her first train ride to Hogwarts ever.

Then there was the lovely mother moment and carl moved closer to mel, not wanting to intrude. Then he heard what she said, though she was rather quiet. She didn't have a mother as well? His parents had passed away when he was a baby. He wondered what his mother would be like if she was still alive. She would probably like the fact that he was a wizard, that he was special.

"do you want to get on the train now?" carl asked brightly. He was finally going to hogwarts! He should not be thinking about his parents, on this happy day.

Being a mess in front of mel and sam was ok, they knew that about him already, but to the new boy, well tenacius had enough manners drummed into him about best foot forward and all that. salander wasn’t exactly eager for this day to come. Sure he still had that cool albeit more sophisticated swagger about him, but deep down in his heart of hearts he didn’t really want to let his boy get on the train and not see him again until christmastime. But his kid turned eleven, and the little hogwarts letter came promptly. No delays, no wild goose chases. Already his son's path to wizardhood has kicked off so differently from his own.

He strode through the wall with emmy and finchley in tow, and just as he was trying to prep himself on the heartfelt words he can impart to his son, the scene that greeted him on the other side got his jaw to drop....

"tenacius!!!" yup that was pretty heartfelt. His blood pressure can attest to that.

It was a good thing that emmy was there. While she took care of the naughty ones, sal murmured to finchley to collect all of tenacius' belongings and made sure everyone else was taken cared of. Legal entanglements can be such a hassle.


for the second time tenacius' eyes grew large. Oh no... Dad and almost mom, with that voice. He was in deep doo doo wasn’t he? Yup here comes the lecture....

... But in a way he was quietly relieved. Lectures were better if it came from emmy. His dad isnt the type to give lectures lets put it that way.

He just about squawked when he heard the girls blaming him for things. But one look at emmy and the boy didn’t raise a fuss. She had that look about her, more sad than angry. And if there was anything, he didn’t like disappointing his folks.

Although now emmy was pulling him aside with his father and the boy grimaced. Is this where the punishment was gonna kick in? But instead emmy lowered herself to his eye level and talked to him. Why she so sad? She was never sad when they would go off on adventures. And aint hogwarts a great big adventure?

"i love you to emmy." the ickle curly top murmured back. He nodded and repeated her words-- be safe, stay out of trouble. Of course he was gonna be a good boy. When was he never? don’t answer that.

he thought they were done and was about to bolt when she wrapped him in a great big hug. Emmy hugs are awesome. But hugs in front of mel and sam and ugo and that new kid carl? Aak! The other kids will think he's still a big baby. He's a big boy now. Squirm squirm squuuiiiirrrmmmm.


after emmy had sufficiently made a big baby out of his mini-me, sal crouched down next to him. The overwhelming dread and premature longing was already obvious on his demeanor, and his kid picked up on it, given the concern on the boy's face.

He gave a playful punch on his boy's shoulder and nudged his head towards the steaming locomotive "well, whutcha think? Pretty cool huh?"

"uhuh! Its super cool! Its just like the orient express!"

"umm... Not quite. Doesn’t have as much things to break..." he joked his kid as he playfully punched the boy's shoulder. "well.... Just remember everything that emmy said ok champ? And uh.... Have a great time in hogwarts-- i know i did. " the elder salander smiled at his son. He held out a fist bump as he uttered "remember what we always say: Work hard, play hard, ace--"

"--ace it all the way!" tenacius completed their slogan beaming as he gave his dad a exuberant fist bump



salander stood and watched the children clamber into the doorway of the hogwarts express as it started to toot its horn as it signalled its departure. He felt emmy's hand beside his and gripped it hard, finding solace in her presence to not get all misty eyed. Its ridiculous, he'll see his kid again at the end of the day, undoubtedly the boy will be so excited to show off his new digs to them later when they mirror.

Hope was all smiles and she watched the interaction between Arista and Thomas. They were so cute together. And she could really see the chemistry between them. She leaned into Spence as she held his hand.

"Oh I have no doubt that Hogwarts is going to be great! I want to be in Gryffindor so bad. It seems that everyone I meet that is older than me is in Gryffindor. I'd love it there! I'd also have all of you with me!! That's of course if I get into Gryffindor and if Spence does too." She smiled at them.

"Oh I hope that I can bake. I have been known to prank a time or two in my life. I.." Just as she was about to tell Thomas about another prank Arista had shoved the cookie she had given her into Thomas' mouth and was walking towards her shouting. It had caught Hope off guard so she went still for a second. Then realizing what she was shouting about Hope got a huge grin on her face.

"Yea, this is the Spence I was talking about. She laughed and looked at Spence innocently. "It was innocent. I promise. no bad mouthing about you at all!" She teased.

Spencer seen the interaction between Thomas and Arista, he thought that they were a cute couple, he hoped that him and Hope were this way. "said Spencer smirking. Spencer was a prankster and a real good one at that, he always gotten in trouble for pulling pranks on his Professor's and other people at his muggle school.

Wow...that's a long time to be together, congratulations you two and every relationship has ups and downs, that what makes a relationship real and not fake. "said Spencer honestly. "I seen so many Ken and Barbie relationships, they make me sick, no relationship is that perfect I may be young but I'm not stupid! "said Spencer. "I'm sort of wary of making new friends, my old so called muggle friends back stabbed me after they found out that I make weird things happen when I'm mad or angry."said Spencer. Spencer remembered that he was the laughing stock of the school and was called a freak, Spencer gotten so mad he threatened to turn into a frog a couple of times.

"You prank me, you'll get a prank just as worse, my brothers put a puking pansies in my oatmeal when I was seven, I got them back by placing a fart device in their pants when they had a date, I followed them to the movies and I pressed the buttons whenever they bent over or made and move I was only seven so I thought it was brilliant! "said Spencer. He couldn't help but not to laugh at memory of that it was too funny to him. "I did quite a bit of pranks in my lifetime, soiI'm no newbie when it comes to pranking."said Spencer.
