He gave piggy back rides? What a lovely brother! But hold on - he wrote? Okay, wow, Katherine WANTED to be his friend! She had never met someone who wrote before (and she never even tried to, because she only got to write in primary school if it was for homework).
He was a Gryffindor. Cool. Katherine knew two people from there, Ava The Prankster and Yoongi The Older Boy Who Looked Like A Bully But Wasn't. Although... her mother never said that she couldn't be friends with students from other houses, Katherine had sensed the hidden disapproval: the troublemakers consisted of Gryffindors the most, so she had to be extra careful around this lot. But Blaise WROTE, so this made him an intellectual - an intellectual who could make his quill fly. Katherine KNEW her mum would approve of him.
Aaand... the confirmation came a second later.
"Well then, Katherine, I and your dad will just look for a snack," the woman said, "and we'll come back to bid you goodbye. Nice to meet you, Blaise and Julie." Although those two people never acknowledged her (rude), she could live with that... for now... if Blaise turned out to be the nice boy his sister talked of.
Taking her husband's hand, she walked towards the snack thing to spy on Blaise and other kids more.
Yeah, her mum only left her alone if she trusted the other kid enough. Katherine was more relaxed now, so she cheerfully smiled at the little girl and the boy - Blaise. Her mother had told them her name, but she still felt the need to. It'd be rude without a proper introduction, after all.
"I'm Katherine Moss," she said, "and I'd like to be your brother's friend, of course." If the boy wanted to, as well. "I'm excited, yeah!" She just didn't like to show it. But the way her face shone was a strong sign. "Why were you hoping the train wouldn't come, though?" What was wrong with Hogwarts? Sure, she'd heard of the attacks and all that, but... weren't those in the past?
The 9 year old's eyes went wide almost immediately as she turned to face her brother. "No Blaise, you mustn't say that! Daddy will be cross if he hears you--remember you're meant to like magic this year." She implored with all the innocent hope of a child. "You did magic over the summer, I saw and it was good." Julie turned to Katherine again, her smile back in place. "Don't listen to him, he doesn't mean it. Blaise likes his friends at Hogwarts and he likes writing for the yearbook. Told me so himself."
Her brother was only joking. She knew. Magic was amazing. Mummy and Daddy did it ALL the time and now he could too. Hers only ever happened on accident but her mum said it would be different when she got her OWN wand.
"You can be his friend for sure and help him like the castle more." Even though she was SURE he did and was just being a sour goat. Brown eyes rose to the adults at their departure and she gave them a small wave to accompany her grin. "It was nice meeting you both too!" That's what you were meant to say. It was only polite even if you didn't know them that well. Mhm.
Blaise glanced up at the woman and her husband. He gave his most polite smile to accompany his sisters words even if he didn't feel like being very polite. In truth, he wanted to run back through the barrier and right out of the train station. If he missed the train they would have to let him stay home....right?
"I did mean it. Hogwarts is stupid and so is magic. I'm better off without either." Not completely true. Hogwarts had Bentley and Phillip and Ollie and even Daxton and Davie but he could write them owls and stuff....except it wouldn't be the same as hanging around the castle with them. Consider him conflicted.
"You might like it though, a lot of people seem to and a lot of people like magic too." Like a lot a lot. "I like some of it." He adding grudgingly agreeing with his sister but he wouldn't say anything about friends yet. Blaise liked making friends and didn't think they wouldn't be but wanted to know abit more about Katherine first in case she turned out to be anything like Ellery. Ugh.

The young lioness said. "I swear to Merlin that I didn't mean to do that!" She was just an innocent victim (?) here. The culprit was the cart.
And the younger girl (who apparently her name was Azura) said that her nose hurt. She was 200% sure that it's broken. NOOOOOOOO..... "I'm so sorryyyyyy..... Well uh... it's not broken, is it? Your nose?" What should she do to fix it? The young lioness knew nothing about healing spells though her beloved father was a healer. Well, she was still young and hadn't learned anything about that. "Can you do something, Penelope?"

The exact cause of the accident didn't matter now, she just needed to help the girls. She wasn't going to lecture the girls on how the accident could have been avoided the way that Healer Murdoch probably would. Penelope looked into Azura's purple eyes. "Pleased to meet you, Azura. I'm going to do something that will help your nose." A hurt nose that was bleeding. How hard could it be to fix a bloody nose?
Penelope looked at the other girl. It was Ava, right? Teddy's twin sister? "It's okay Ava, you're not in trouble. It was an accident. Of course you didn't mean to hit her." Broken nose? That didn't sound good, but there were worse things that could have happened. "If her nose is broken I can try to fix it." It would probably be in all of their best interests if they didn't have to go see the healer right after arriving at Hogwarts. She hadn't exactly tried fixing any broken noses on real live people before, but she had been practicing healing spells.
Now she would try to help Azura. "Azura, let me see your nose." Penelope unholstered her wand, pointed it at Azura's nose, and focused on fixing it. "Episkey." That should fix Azura's nose if it was broken. If not she had plenty of handkerchiefs and bruise removal paste.
Azura attempted a slight smile back at Penelope, but the movement hurt her nose and instead she just winced a little.. "Thank you." She managed to get out as she looked up at the other girl..
Great! She wasn't even AT Hogwarts yet and she had already had something broken! Ugh! Though it wasn't her fault at least! So that was a plus, at least she hadn't fallen and tripped into the cart! She was pushed!
She turned towards Ava with another sort of wincing smile. "It's really okay Ava, honestly! It wasn't your fault! I'm all right.." Except for the fact that her nose was totally broken!
Oh ow ow ow ow!! Was the room spinning? It was spinning wasn't it? She put a hand on her cart to steady herself as she turned towards the older prefect and she closed her eyes a bit.. She stayed really still, partly because she knew the wand work needed her to be still, partly because she felt like she was going to pass out!!
She knew the spell to fix her nose.. Her mother had used it several times.. and she winced a little as her nose moved back into place and the pain left!
"Oh thank you so much! That feels so much better, I thought I was going to pass out! She said with a warm smile up at the prefect.

Yeah, Ava knew that it wasn't really her fault. It's the cart's fault! She was gonna kick the cart but it hit her big heavy trunk. Ouch!!! She should've never kicked that on the first place. Sometimes you'd better not to wreak your emotion by physical movement, oh dear Ava. And how could this Azura kid said that she was fine? Her nose was broken! There's nothing fine without that. She had experienced breaking bones some times (and the last one was her left shoulder that it had to make her wore a splint for months)
But lucky that Penelope said that she could fix it. Really??? That's such a huge relieve! The young lioness watched the Ravenclaw prefect as she pointed her wand to Azura's nose. Wow, she did really fix it. It's like a..... wait, it's a MAGIC obviously. Duh, were you amnesia or something, Burton? "Oh dear Merlin, we didn't know what would happen if you're not here, Penelope!" Ava stood up and wrapped Penelope in a huuuuuuuge hug. Hopefully she wouldn't mind a hug.

a real experience with the friendliest people around you.
Thomas luckily convinced his parents that he was a big boy and that he didn't need them to come with him to the train so he made sure to leave them with Rayne. He didn't want his mother smothering him with kisses and leave him covered with her plum colored lipstick...He still had enough on him from his first year.
He looked around having kept to himself last year he really didn't know anyone...He should make friends...Hadn't Arista said she was going to get here around this time he looked down at his watch, well she was probably going to be late but what else was new with that girl of his. He chuckled looking around he saw a young girl sit on her suitcase. Hey, look a potential friend with no one. He walked over gave a small wave and said "Hey I'm Thomas."There that wasn't so bad. Right?
Hope gave the older boy a smile as he walked up to her. It was a weak smile but a smile none the less. "Hi. I'm Hope. Nice to meet you." Thomas. She had met a girl whose friend was Thomas. What a coincidence it would be if that was this Thomas.
She looked around. [B]"what year are you? Are you waiting for someone too?"
She was trying to be friendly and polite, but her mood was just far from it. She was so worried about her cousin. "I'm sorry I'm not very talkative. I have some stuff going on. I'm sorry." she looked down and frowned.
She had to cheer up she was here! About to go to Hogwarts!!! That made her smile a little bit. She genuinely smiled at the boy. As she was she spotted Spencer and an older girl sitting on a bench not too far away. Her smile grew bigger.
"I hope you don't mind but can I call my friend over here?" not waiting for an answer she waved and called out Spencer's name. Her voice traveled so she knew he would be able to hear her. Her cousin might not be here and that still was on her mind, but at least she was making friends and her bf would be here.

Were was her twin sister!?!?! Jay couldn't have Rylend being late for Hogwarts!! This was bad, this was really bad!! Hopefully she would show up soon!!! Why was Rylend always late one to things like this!? Didn't she know that this was really important, and that they kind of needed to get to the train before it left the station!?!
With all this stress caused by her sister, Jay was in a panicky pace mode right now. Her head was down towards the ground, cart staying still in the spot she left it. The first year just kept pacing...
And pacing...
And pacing....
Until smack! The eleven year old ran right into someone!!! "Owwwww!!! Watch were you'r-" Looking up, Jay saw it was an older guy. Lip now trembling, her face went pale...Great first impression, Jay."I'm- um- I am- um- terr- terribly sorry about- about that." If it wasn't obvious, the brunette was so nervous about this bump in. Not to mention...the guy looked cute...soooooo....
Yea...
Colt was busy staring and just zoning out, when he felt a little bump into his side. He scrunched his eyebrows in confusion and wondered who could it be? He looked down and so enough it was a newbie. Well it looked like a first year to him because she looked kind of tiny. Now he was stuttering and looking like she committed a big crime. "Hey it is fine. Don't worry about it. Sometimes we don't watch we are going.." He snorted and added, "You know how many times that happened to me. You just nod and say sorry man and walk away. Don't stutter, it will make you seem weak." He gave the little girl some advice. I mean Colt had done the same thing sometimes. You just nod sorry and just walk away. "Are you going to be new to Hogwarts?" he asked. He had a hunch but he might as well be nice and ask anyways.

Reason: Not reading carefully XD
Her distraction hadn't worked. The boy was still running about and shouting.
Oh wait a second. The kids cam to a stop near Hady but he was still being extremely loud. This kid was beyond excited. Well that or he had waaayyyy to much candy this morning. Possibly both even.
Hady laughed softly nodding her head. "I am but this is my fifth term now." So she didn't feel the need to run about and scream at the top of her voice anymore. When Matt grabbed Jasper and pulled the other boy over like they were friends Hady held back a smirk. Cute kids they were. "I'm Hady, fifth year Slytherin. You're both first years?" Clearly they were but it didn't hurt clarifying it.

He was gone before Jasper could even respond to that. Then all of a sudden, the boys obnoxiously loud voice was bag, and the Australian boy found himself being dragged over to an older girl. With the kids arm around his shoulder. He didn't even know the kid!
Despite standing a bit awkwardly, and being completely unsure of what he was meant to do, he just raised his eyebrow at the other first year.
"Of course I am excited" Jasper responded drily. Who wasn't? But if that kid expected him to start running around and screaming like him now that he admitted his excitement, he was going to be sorely disappointed.
"Uh... hi, I'm Jasper," he introduced himself with a shy smile. "Nice to meet you Hady... and I am... I think he is too..." though that was based entirely on the level of excitement. At that thought, he turned to the stranger that was currently still attached to him.
"Who are you?"
The dry way the other boy replied to his 'ARE YOU EXCITED' question made Matt crack up. "You don't SOUND excited!" He said as he laughed away, his arm still around his shoulder. "But I believe you. You're probably like my cousin." Rachel never EVER looked or sounded excited, even when she was happy. Mysterious people, they were. Matt didn't mind that, though.
OHEY, the older girl was NICE. FIFTH TERM? "Whoa, you're old." Matt said half-jokingly. She was like, 15. Which meant she was at the dating age and that disgusted Matt very much. But hey, she was nice and that was good enough for him to talk to her.
The 11 year-old looked at the other boy, who was called Jasper, and let him introduce himself first. His arm was still around his shoulder, of course. So he was looking at the boy REALLY CLOSELY. Their faces weren't touching though, because that would be GROSS. No. Just really close. REALLY. CLOSE.
Lol.
He whipped his head towards the Slytherin girl when it was his time to reply. "Yah, me too. And my name's MATT." He said, finally letting go of Jasper's shoulder so he could introduce himself to his new FRIEND as well. "Matt Solo." YAAS!!!

Jasper blinked at the guy in front of him. Who had literally just cracked up laughing. What was so funny? Then the guy spoke again and it made sense to him, but he still was at a loss of what to do.
"Maybe it's because a stranger almost knocked me over," he commented just as drily as he had answered the question about being excited. Despite being tempted to go on to how he had literally been dragged away from where he had been standing, and the stranger was STILL attached to him. It was almost funny though considering Jasper was usually quite soft spoken and kind, and tried to be friendly to everyone.
This kid though.
This kid was somehow bringing out Jasper's more sarcastic side. Maybe it was how loud and blunt he was? Bordering on literally being obnoxious in Jasper's opinion.
Jasper cringed as the kid practically yelled his name into Jasper's ear, and the moment that he let go of him, Jasper promptly took a step to the side. A little bit of personal space was always nice.
Solo? Jasper's mind immediately jumped to the Star Wars movies that he'd watched with his mother, his lips twisting up slightly. He wondered whether Matt knew Star Wars. It was worth a shot. Besides, then they might find common ground. "Like Star Wars?"
Colt was busy staring and just zoning out, when he felt a little bump into his side. He scrunched his eyebrows in confusion and wondered who could it be? He looked down and so enough it was a newbie. Looking up at the boy she couldn't help but blush a little bit. Jay was sooooooo embarrassed right now it wasn't even funny. Although he told her not to stutter, the girl couldn't help it! What would you do if you were in the presence of another student that you couldn't help think was charming and tall and nice!? "I um- well- um-..." Deep breath...
In for four, and out for-
That's when it hit her. In the moment and shock of everything Jay couldn't help but pass out! Thankfully however, she fell into the other student's legs so, it sort of broke her fall. Not really, but...

Spencer heard Hope calling after him and couldn't help but not to smile at the sight of her, he was glad that she was finally here, he hoped she was feeling better then she was when they were at Diagon Alley by the fountain. Spencer looked at Savannah as she smiled and nodded telling him that he should go over to where she was at. Spencer nodded and gotten up and grabbed his trunk dragging it over towards her. "Hey Hope, you ready to go to Hogwarts? "Spencer asked her. Seeing her talking to an older boy he blushed thinking that he intruded on their conversation. "Oh so rude of me, I didn't mean to intrude, I'm Spencer, Spencer Criswell. "said Spencer to the older boy.
Spencer looked at Hope. "Are you feeling any better then you were a couple of days ago by the fountain? "Spencer asked her. He been really worried about her lately, she didn't seem to smile as often as she did when he met her, and when she did it was fake and plastered on her face. Spencer been around his ssiblings and his family to know when someone was faking a smile, but he didn't say anything about it to her, he didn’t want to upset her more then she was. Spencer wished there was something he could do to make her feel better, but he guess him just being there for her made her feel better.

Colt was worried about this girl. I mean she looked even kind of pale in his presence. "Are you feeling alr--" Before he even got to finish his question, he saw her faint. "Oh bloody merlin..." was his only reaction and he saw her fall into a student's legs. "Bloody merlin....hey hey stay in here with me.." he said cradling her head. He wondered if he should slap her awake or shake her. I mean he had no idea what to do. Should he call for help and draw attention to himself.
Wait a minute. He had an idea that usually worked when his cousins passed out. He got out his water bottle he had and splashed it on her. Please let it work.
Spencer heard Hope calling after him and couldn't help but not to smile at the sight of her, he was glad that she was finally here, he hoped she was feeling better then she was when they were at Diagon Alley by the fountain. Hope nodded at Spencer. " I'm feeling better. I brought you some chocolate chip cookies and turtle brownies. I hope you like them." she blushed as she dug in her bag and produced a Ziploc bag of goods. She had extra in her bag and not wanting to be rude grabbed a bag for Thomas.
"I have extra. Would you like some?" she asked offering the bag to Thomas. She hoped he wasn't allergic to anything.
As she zipped up her bag she thought about Hogwarts and the train. "are you ready? I'm so excited. Still a little nervous." the zipper was stuck and she was having a little trouble finish closing her bag. She gave it a tug hoping it would unstick but it made things worse. uggghhh! Come on zipper! she thought to herself. Right as she went to tug it the other way the zipper broke of track. Completely opening her bag. All her things scattering around her. Great just great! She blushed as she began picking up quills, candy, and other items.

She offered Tia a small smile. "I think I know a great deal about it because I've been doing some reading. Is it really true that the ceiling of the Great Hall is magicked to look like the skies outside?'' The first time she had come across this bit of information, she had had to re-read the sentences multiple times just to be sure her eyes had not been deceiving her.
"Did you attend Hogwarts from your first year, Tia? Would you mind if I wanted to know which House you're in?'' Talking to Tia was a good way of distracting Rachel from missing her parents and she really hoped Tia didn't mind the questions.
Aw. This girl was the absolute sweetest and Tia totally one hundred and ten percent wanted her as one of her Eagles. Though if she couldn't be an Eagle, she had to at least be at Badger. There was no question in Tia's mind about that. "Why thank you," Tia said, her hand shifting to her hair to run her fingers over its smoothness quickly.
Ah, good, she thought she was a new student. Rachel. "What a lovely name." Oh and she'd done some reading? Rachel was definitely going to be one of hers; there was not a doubt in her mind about that. "That is quite correct. The Great Hall is probably one of my favourite places because I love the magic involved with its ceiling. Just, try not to stare too long when you first see it. You'll get plenty of opportunity over the next seven years to savor it." Unless of course she transferred away for whatever reason.
"Sadly I've only been at Hogwarts since my fourth year. I attended a Magic School in Italy for my first three years. My parents were reluctant to send me to another country." Sigh. "I'm a Ravenclaw. But I've got family in Hufflepuff as well." And it's quite splendid if one asked her. "My aunt actually used to be the Head of Hufflepuff. So uh, what house are you hoping for?" Yes, she assumed the girl read up on the houses, considering she had said she'd done some reading.

In for four, and out for-
That's when it hit her. In the moment and shock of everything Jay couldn't help but pass out! Thankfully however, she fell into the other student's legs so, it sort of broke her fall. Not really, but...
Ryland would have been the first to admit her groove was completely thrown off today. Not only did the eleven year old manage to wake up fifteen minutes late, not only was her hair frizzy and her lipgloss nonexistant, she was in dire need of a twin. Like seriously, it was an eleven year old brunette with the same blue eyes as her. This wasn't rocket science! And she should know, once she looked at rocket science stuff and it was totally impossible. It was soo many numbers and letters! Her mom said she would understand it when she was older and had more knowledge, but it seemed impossible to ever tackle.
Back to the issue at hand. Turning on her gladiator sandal and wishing she had brought a bottle of water with her, Ryland rolled her eyes and sighed. Just because Jay didn't have any sense of style and got to actually eat warm breakfast. Excuse her for having priorities! Why was she getting angry? There was no reason to get angry. Putting her suitcase down, she wiped her sweaty palms on her multicolored pink shirt and took a deep breath.
Okay, so there might have been another reason why she wanted her sister. Nerves were high, and with Jay, nerves had to be through the roof! Not that they had a roof, they were outside, but the metaphor was there. It was like half-formed, give her a break. She wanted to not only help her sister not freak out, but she wanted some help too! This was like crazy, with the magic and the people and the wand. Like, they went through everything together in life. This was one of those everything's!
Wait, what was happening over there? Someone was standing up and then they weren't and it looked kind of like Jay, and that was enough to make her run over there with her gazillion pound suitcase. Even if that wasn't the right person, it was a student, right? She had to help. It was like her civic duty, right? Ryland would feel awful if she actually didn't help. And the person looked rather young, like her, and if she or Jay fainted, like she didn't know what would happen!
She dropped her suitcase on the platform, moving as fast as she could towards the scene of the crime. Yeah, something was happening and something needed to be done.

Ugh.
1. This boy didn't like casting magic?!?!?!?!
2. But he could do it over the summer and no one cared!?!?!
How come... well, Katherine guessed he was at least a halfblood, so how could someone used to magic wouldn't like it? She didn't understand! It made life so easy. She looked confused, and Katherine Moss was rarely confused. But that she could - help him like the castle more. Certainly.
"Hogwarts isn't stupid," she softly said, "and neither is magic. It makes life so easy. For example - apparition. We can go to anywhere in just a second. Or... water charm. We don't have to get up to drink water. Or the summoning charm. Any spell, basically." Wasn't that the best feeling? Muggles could never relax on the couch, but wizards could probably spend a week there without moving.
"I can certainly help you like it more. But why don't you like it, if I may ask?" She had to know to address the problem.
She also... maybe wished Julie was the older sibling. They could have been BFFs.
I'm a little late to the party whoops sorry you two!

Spencer been around his ssiblings and his family to know when someone was faking a smile, but he didn't say anything about it to her, he didn’t want to upset her more than she was. Spencer wished there was something he could do to make her feel better, but he guess him just being there for her made her feel better.

Thomas smile had faltered once he saw how sad the girl looked. "Are you alright?" He hated seeing anyone sad especially girls, it reminded him too much of his little sister. His stone heart instantly melted with girls below the age of thirdteen...and Arista, but she was another story. "I'm a fifth year and why yes I am. I am waiting for my girlfriend her name is Arista. We agreed to meet up near here..Seems she is late like usual." He gave a big chuckle. If this girl knew Arista she would understand. "Can you let me know if you see her? She is a beautiful redhead, tall, and has amazing blue eyes?" Did he really just describe her like that....Dang he must have missed her.
"You're good it seemed like you had somethin on your mind. Want an ear?" Whether or not she would want to talk about it he would be here in case she wanted to talk about it. He had almost not noticed what she had said to busy looking around for Arista. "Nice to meet you Spencer and no not rude at all you were just focused on the pretty lady right here. And you didn't intrude." He liked the kid already he had manners and that was something that Thomas respected one hundred percent.
These two were cute...He just knew Arista would love them to death, she was a romantic and innocent love was her favorite. HOPE SAY WHAT!!!!?? Yes, he wanted a delicious cookie creation!! He nodded eagerly and took one from the bag before taking a bite of the goodness, these were great!! "Thank you. Did you make these!!" The boy was a sucker for all things sweet!!
He looked around the platform again for the redhead..Where was she? She always did this they agreed on a time and she was late...Always. He was torn out of his train of though when a piece of candy smacked him in the face, chuckling he rubbed his cheek before helping Hope get her belongings back into her bag. "I did that my first year except everything fell...It was as I was coming into Platform 9 3/4....My direction was off and so instead of hitting the middle I hit the edge and bam everything went everyone...It was quite the event. He laughed recalling how he met his redheaded beauty, he left that detail out, though.
Chloe had her sister twist her hair into a series of intricate knots before they parted for the school year. She'd kind of hoped Clara would have joined her at school this term but their father had convinced her of home schooling to save the planet. Lame. And it kept her sister less at school....again. Which she loathed.
With a quick kiss on her mother's cheek, Chloe slipped past a ton of students like a wraith and hung off to the side of the platform. Her nose was deep in a Catwoman comic and she was all content in her corner. Occasionally she glanced up to people watch.
Dora had been WATCHING this one. MHM. With a grin on her face she sauntered up to Chloe's side and nudged that comic gently. She was appreciating the hair. She was indeed! Instead of her usually bubbly nonstop chatter she actually stood quietly and ALMOST still while she waited for the other girl to acknowledge her. MHM. What a difference a summer could make!

Arista hadn't meant to be late but it wasn't her fault she had to make sure she had everything packed. And by everything she meant all her shoes, because she couldn't leave home without her shoes. It was a necessity. And then she misplaced her wand...And her ferret... Whoops?! It wasn't her fault and she may have forgotten the time Thomas wanted to meet. It was an accident when her tea got all over the letter he had sent. She wished she could have seen him more during the summer she hadn't seen him after they had made up but they had been writing constantly.
Her boots clacked against the floor as she dragged her bag across the platform she had gotten through the wall easily this year which she was thankful for and now she was searching for the handsome boy she called her boyfriend. It didn't take her long to find him she shouted his name before she ran over him. Dropping her bag on the floor near him and who he was talking to, before tossing her arms around him and giving him a kiss on the cheek. Once she did that she noticed that the two friends she met in Diagon Alley were there.
"Spencer!" She let go of Thomas and gave Spencer a quick hug before turning to the girl. IT was Hope!!! She gave a squeal before putting her arms around Hope. "Eep Hope!" She released Hope and then noticed that she had been in the middle of doing something. Oh no her bag! "Oh no what happened?" The redhead had yet to notice that her arms were still wrapped around Hope's body.

SPOILER!!: Jasper and Matt
As the other boy laughed at his reaction, Jasper looked at him in complete bewilderment. A part of him was grateful that he had run away from him, but that quickly ended when he realised that the other boy was coming back! Though this time he seemed to slow down to yell a 'hi'.
----
The dry way the other boy replied to his 'ARE YOU EXCITED' question made Matt crack up.
----
Jasper blinked at the guy in front of him.
These two standing before her were like fire and ice. The boy she had learned was Jasper was ice, calm and quiet but excited none-the-less. A nice contained excited. Now the other boy who's name was Matt Solo?Um okay then he was loud. Very loud and hyper which was cool two. Having cousins made her used to all types of kids. Fire, ice and a bit of both...not to mention the tornado kids that just wrecked everything in their path.
Hazel eyes shifting between the pair she let them discuss the 'Star Wars' naming or whatever. Yeah, yeah she'd seen the movies but she wasn't the biggest of fans. Anyhow her attention had been caught up on being called 'old'. Which she wasn't in any sense of the word. Hady raised an eyebrow at Matt and then smirked. "Nah, I'm not old. You're just young." Younger then her that is. Being a fifth year was going to be awesome.

Teddy's jaw almost flew open at the memories of Mister Ryden. It was impressive. Teddy nodded, "I don't recall any of the names so I think they must have. Or at least left, anyway." That was a shame. It would have been quite nice being taught by the same person that taught a parent. It was nice to see that Hogwarts had made such a good memory for Jace's dad.
"No... at least... not that I KNOW of. But," he put his hand to his chin, playing with it, as if there was a beard there, "That's a good point. I'll have to ask Mister Kitridge if they could have special access. After hours, before opening, that sort of thing." It would be really cool if they DID. "Do you know much about the other houses?" Teddy asked Jace. Teddy had done a lot of research before going to Hogwarts. He wanted to know about all of the houses, so that he was prepared in advance.
Jace beamed and bowed to say his thanks, “Thank you.” He said in Japanese. At least he won’t feel lonely during the train ride, yes? And maybe Teddy could tell him more about Hogwarts, like, things that weren’t mentioned in his history book?
Ryden grinned and nodded as he gave Jace’s head a nice old pat. “I suppose it would be too exhausting for them now to teach.” Merlin, he’d do anything to retire now, but since Jace is still in school, he’d have to push that idea at the very back of his mind. Education is very important, and he would make sure that Jace will get the best of the best.
And what is this? Already talking about books and libraries? Ryden listened and chuckled to himself, knowing that the Librarian will not allow special access and privileges, just because he’s also their Head of House. Smiling at the two, he slowly slipped away from the boys and tended to Jace’s trunks, making sure that he didn’t forget anything...like his underpants.
“But...but there must be a curfew, right? How do you get out of that?” Jace asked blinking his eyes, hungry for answers. “Maybe...maybe he can give...a longer loan time for books?” Will that work? Jace knew not everyone’s into books, so instead of it just sitting lonely on a shelf, the Librarian should just let them have it for a longer period of time. Well, just a suggestion.
“Oh! Oh yes, I’ve read about them! There are FOUR in total! Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, and Ravenclaw! Each are represented by animals that best describe its student’s personalities...as well as elements of the earth! Gryffindor has a lion, representing fire and bravery...Hufflepuff has a badger, representing earth and hardwork, Slytherin has a snake, representing cunningness and water, and then Ravenclaw has an eagle, representing cleverness and air!” Jace beamed as he adjusted his backpack. “The houses are named after the four founders, Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Salazar Slytherin, and Rowena Ravenclaw!” Did he get everything correct and in order? Jace turned to ask his papa if his answer was correct when—
“PAPA!” Jace rushed towards the man, and pushed down the undergarment that Ryden was holding up for everyone to see! “That’s my underwear!” Jace quickly snatched it and stuffed it at the very bottom of his trunk. his face has turned red as a tomato.

She also... maybe wished Julie was the older sibling. They could have been BFFs.
See, even Katherine was completely confused by her brother. It was written ALL over her face and being the expert on her brother that she was, Julie was more than happy to oblige. Ahem. "He doesn't think magic and Hogwarts are stupid, he thinks his wand is stupid because she doesn't do what he tells her to even when Daddy got the Ministry to grant him permission over the summer--I wish he'd ask them to give me permission even though I'm 9. It'd be soooooo amazing. Everyone else can do proper magic but me." And her oaf of a brother didn't EVEN want to. How was it fair?
And there she was listing all the absolutely amazing things you can do with magic! "I like apparition! Mummy didn't want Daddy apparating me and Blaise places til we were like six 'cause she worries so much but it's amazing. You blink and you're there!!" From the corner of her eyes, she saw the quill scribbling away as she spoke and it got her grinning widely. "Hey Katherine, say something funny!" Do it! Do it! Do it! The quill was bound to make it funnier.
"Blaise can you copy the pages for me before you leave? I wanna keep them."
This conversation wasn't making him feel better in the least bit. Why'd they have to talk about magic of all things and about the school he didn't wanna go back to? Before he could even answer a question directed at HIM there went Julie rambling off again so he just kinda shrugged and nodded toward her. Whatever she said.
"The guy at the wand shop gave me this salve that's meant to make her listen more and it's kinda working but I dunno. Still think I'd do better with another wand. She casts the water spell just fine most times actually...I just don't know why...." Thirsty wand? Spiteful wand that knew he hardly needed aguamenti? Who really knew.
Inspite of his situation, Blaise allowed himself a grin that slowly crept onto his face, displaying his dimples proudly. "How ya gonna make me like the castle more?" The way he saw it, he had two options; stand her and mope then mope on the train and mope at the feast then mope on the way to the Common Room and mope during the party OR he could do exactly what he did last year...pretend he didn't need magic and enjoy life. The second sounded more appealing despite his father's chiding. "And sure, Jules, we'll get mum to do it when she gets here." Because HE wasn't going to make a fool of himself. Nope.

But I've got family in Hufflepuff as well." And it's quite splendid if one asked her. "My aunt actually used to be the Head of Hufflepuff. So uh, what house are you hoping for?" Yes, she assumed the girl read up on the houses, considering she had said she'd done some reading.
Rachel smiled even wider this time. She was in such awe of this girl and though she had her suspicions as to why, something else told her those were not the only reasons. There was another reason she couldn't quite put her fingers on. "You're welcome.''
"Thank you! You can always certainly call me Rach or Rachie, however. Sometimes I would even get called by my middle name which is Skye.'' She listen with rapt attention to the words coming from Tia' mouth. She nodded in agreement. "I think it's a fascinating bit of magic. No doubt it's very complicated though.'' The way Rachel saw it, these were no basic Weather Charms involved.
"I'm confident you've had lots of great memories though, Tia. What was Italy like?'' The eleven year old could hardly wait to start building her own realm of memories involving the castle and the persons there. Ravenclaw? Did Tia just say Ravenclaw? Rachel let out an excited little squeal. "I hope I'm in that House! Both of my parents were Ravenclaws, you see. But I wouldn't mind Hufflepuff either. My daddy tells me I have their traits too.'' Tia seemed to have quite a history with Hogwarts even if it involved family. ''What subject did your aunt teach?"
SPOILER!!: Hope (crimsonlion), Spencer (Savannah Granger) and Thomas (Wisher)
Pretends that this has everyone's quotes I was to lazy to go get them all
Arista hadn't meant to be late but it wasn't her fault she had to make sure she had everything packed.
Spencer looked at Hope and smiled. "Good cause I hated that you sad, when you're sad I'm sad, and I hate when people are sad especially you. said Spencer. Spencer took the ziploc baggie and took a brownie before taking a bite of it. It was really good, probably the best brownies he ever tasted besides his mother's, but no one could beat those. "These are amazing Hope, I can't wait to try the turtles! "said Spencer.
Spencer looked at Thomas and nodded and smiled. "You're right about that, she is a pretty lady, let me rephrase that, beautiful. said Spencer. "Oh good, I wouldn't want to intrude, that'll be rude."said Spencer. Spencer ran to Hope's side and helped her pick up her things, he seen her blushing and gave her a soft warm smile. "Come on now, we're first years, we're suppose to be clumsy! "said Spencer jokingly before smirking at her. Spencer handed her stuff back to her neatly and in order, he didn't like anything to be out of place or not organized. "Don't be nervous beautiful it's going to be ok, like I told you before I'll be right there beside you I'll never let you fall, if you fall we fall together. said Spencer.
Spencer laughed and hugged Arista. "Hey Arista, nice to see you again, how are you? "Spencer asked. Spencer put two and two together and figured out that Arista and Thomas were dating, and he had to admit made a cute couple. "So...how long have you two been together? "Spencer asked the older couple. "You don't have to answer if you don't want to, I was just curious."said Spencer.

Oh the platform. The last time he would be heading to Hogwarts here. Keegan was leaning against his trunk, near the back of the platform, people watching. His aunts were long gone.
Now his eyes traveled over the students as he looked for one in particular. His girlfriend. Brynn. You know, the cute ambitious red head who people may have thought was shy, but really wasn't.
He got stuck watching two firsties bicker though, his attention drawn from looking for Brynn. When they had settled the manner, Keegan laughed to himself. They would definitely be Slytherin. Or maybe Gryffindor.
Okay. Right. Girlfriend.
His eyes searched once more and finally he spotted his favorite red head. A huge smile spread across his face and he left his trunk where it was and headed straight for her. Poking her on one shoulder, he bent to the opposite shoulder and waited for her to see him.
Brynn took to people watching as she waited for the train, half hoping to see someone she knew, half just trying to pass the time. She would definitely be sitting with her boyfriend on the train, but she didn't see him yet either. Well, she hoped that she would find him sooner or later, because she didn't want to endure the long train ride with anyone else.
As she looked around, she noticed one of her dormmates not too far away from her, though she seemed a bit occupied with a younger student, a new first year maybe. She was always so kind. "Tia!" Brynn called over to her and waved a bit to get her attention. But before she could head over that way or see if the other girl had heard her, Brynn felt a tap on her shoulder.
Quickly glancing behind her where she felt the tap, she didn't immediately see anyone so she turned her whole body around. Her slightly confused look turned into a wide grin. "Keegan! Hi!" She threw her arms around him, giving him a hug. "I was just looking for you... did you just get here?" Now she wouldn't have to worry about looking for him to sit with him on the train.
