If you're aiming to be the first to Hogwarts, board the train at the front. Mind your step and take small children by the hand. Kiss your Ma and your Pa, get the last jab in at your younger siblings, but don't dally!
The Hogwarts Express will be pulling out soon, headed to Hogwarts for another magical year. You may RP your character boarding the train here, saying their goodbyes, and meeting new Hogwarts students.

Hanging tight onto the trolley, Lancelot squeezed his eyes shut just before his father pushed them through the barrier. Not that he was scared or anything, but that task was just not doable with eyes open. Plus it was fun to hang onto the trolley like that. How cool was THAT though!? Running through a WALL?? THEY RAN THROUGH A WALL.
Keeping his eyes open for anyone familiar he may see, which was a whole count of two people he could think of, he took reigns on the trolley and pushed them towards the front of the train. He had to get a good seat. At the front. Where the awesomesauce kids sat.
Kace finally made it to the platform. He noticed others haven't made it here yet. Eh he was still a little early. His mom and father were always known to be a little early and so was he. I guess it rubbed off. He looked around and just handed his suitcase and owl to the conductors. He grinned and said thank you. He was glad Charlene was sleeping because he wanted room on the train. He looked for Emmy and noticed she wasn't here yet. Hmm...he felt his stomach rumble and realized he didn't have breakfast this morning.
He began to look around for some vendors to get at least something good to eat.

Leah pushed her trolley through the Wall between Platforms 9 and 10 before casually walking in herself. Four years of getting on and off King's Cross Station gave her a good idea of how cool kids walked through the wall. She looked around for her friends: Noel? Angel? Or... Henric? She pulled her trolley in search of familiar faces and eventually found herself at the North End of the Platform. With Kace!
"Hi Kace," she said and walked towards the vendors he was at, "are you hungry?"

"Hi Kace," she said and walked towards the vendors he was at, "are you hungry?"
Feeling very much like his usual bouncy and cheery self, the Hufflepuff sixth year that was Adi Rehmam took off to the other side of the Platform. There were so many people to catch up with, yo! But first he would need to find them. And speaking of which... there was one, no, wait! TWO of his good friends straight up ahead!
"Kace! Leah!'' he called as he jogged towards the Puffers. "Guys, guys, guys. How's it going?'' Man, it was great to see them again. It had been quite a few weeks since the field trip after all. "Ready to take the year by storm, Kace?'' And how about a fist bump, buddy?
Adi then turned to Leah. "Seen Henric?'' he asked casually.
OH MY GOODNESS, OH MY GOODNESS, IT WAS TODAY. TODAY WAS THE DAY!!!!!
Rowan was SO UNBELIEVABLY EXCITED to be here. She felt terrible that she couldn’t drag Robin onto the train with her, but as much as she had begged and schemed, she’d been foiled at the last minute by her mother. Who was insisting they stayed at home with everyone else because they couldn’t all afford to go down to London.
And so Rowan was accompanied by Grammy Helen. Who was possibly her second favourite human in the whole world - next to Robin - but still wasn’t allowed to come with her. Her whole family had been excited about this, it was like, major news, but she had to LEAVE THEM BEHIND.
“Grammy come ON!” Rusty pulled at her grandmother’s sleeve, but the woman had her own pace and was going to stick to it, as always.
“Rusty, if you rush your way through life you’ll miss the best bits. Savour the moment.” Helen pushed along the trolley with Rowan’s trunk on it, her own eyes scanning around this amazing hidden platform, dying to be young and able to board the train herself... but of course that wasn’t her fate, so instead she was content with enjoying her granddaughter’s experience. “Do you have everything?”
“Yes!” Rowan sighed dramatically. “And if I don’t then I obviously don’t need it because I checked the list a million times.” So yeah... Gosh. She was glad her grammy was here though, even if she was a little impatient, because she was nervous too. Not that she’d ever show it - Rowan Elizabeth Fields was fearless, fierce, fantastic and fab. And funny. Mhm.
“Okay, good. Now wait just one second.” Helen stopped walking, just out of the way of the crowds, and put her hand in her pocket. “Don’t tell the others, but I have a special something for you.” She took out a charm bracelet that had two little stones hanging off it. “This is jet, and that’s tiger’s eye. They’ll bring you luck.” Helen gestured for Rowan’s hand, and attached the bracelet around her wrist. “I’ll miss you. But don’t think about us too much. Have fun and learn everything you can.”
Okay, so Rowan knew her grammy was going to get all sentimental, but the bracelet was a nice surprise. Her eyes lit up as she inspected the stones, knowing exactly what they were for, and loving them instantly. “Thanks Grammy. I’ll miss you too.” She gave her grandmother a BIG HUG. “You can go home now if you want. I need to start making friends straight away. There’s so many.”
Helen laughed, but Rusty took it well and grinned back at her. They exchanged another huge slightly-too-tight hug, then Grammy Helen took her leave, and Rusty sat on her trunk, looking around the platform...

Okay, who was going to be her next new friend??
Natalia have already told her parents to drop her off at the entrance; she was already old enough to take of herself, she believed. Besides, Nat didn't want her parents, especially her mom, to fuss over her future school career. She already had enough of her mother's lectures: "Study hard!", as if Nat haven't already suffered attending muggle summer school to catch up on her STEM subjects.
Here's the thing, muggle parents, especially Natalia's, two big, giant, nerds, often question the unavailability of other subjects in magic schools, such as math and science. Nat's parents signed her up for summer schools to enrich her in science and math each year. Nat didn't seem to mind for the first few years, but after a while, the overloading work and stress began to pile up.
For goodness sake- no, for Merlin's beard! Natalia was a witch now, and magic was her main priority. As much as Natalia adored muggle subjects, the summer schools would never get her far in the wizarding world. She tried to explain that to her parents, but it didn't work out so well.
Natalia was carrying her trunk, looking around the station. She felt terribly alone, a rare case for an independent figure like Natalia. She wanted to appear strong, but sometimes, she just can't stop craving for company.
She saw a younger girl, sitting alone nearby. Hurhur. Opportunity.
Natalia set her heavy drunk next to the girl and sat on it. She rested her chin on top of her hands in a lazy fashion.

"I'm bored..." Nat murmurs.
Just as Rowan was scanning the platform, looking for someone to go and introduce herself to, somebody sat down beside her! Luck! Already! The stones were working their magick.
"No no you can't be bored." Rusty said, tapping her toes on the ground. "It's simply impossible. There's so much MAGIC everywhere. Don't you think that's just great?" Rowan did. And she was just LOVING the bustling activity and stuff, it was amazing how diverse the magical world seemed to be.
"My grammy says only boring people get bored and I bet you're not boring cause you're here and that means you can do magic and that's not boring even a little bit." Which made absolute sense, in Rowan's head. "My name's Rusty." The little ginger girl beamed her biggest smile. "And I'm never bored because there's always something to do if you look hard enough." At least that's what people had always told her back home when she couldn't find things to fill her time, and eventually she'd learned to do so.

Man it had been a while since he had seen anyone. Did she just ask if he was hungry. He chuckled and massaged his growling stomach. "Yeah you can say I am. Do you have any suggestions?" he asked curiously looking at the vendors.
Then he heard another familiar voice and he turned around and knew who it was instantly. He couldn't believe his fellow puff and perfect Adi was a sixth year. Where did the year go? "I am doing well. I am just excited to go back to Hogwarts but I don't wanna graduate just yet.." He was going to miss his friends and mostly the school. This was his home for seven years like that was a longgg time. Was he ready to take his year by storm. He laughed that comment off, "Yeah you bet I am..." he assured his fellow puff. He was gonna hang out a lot with his friends while trying to study for his Newts. He gave him a fist bump in return. "So tell me man, how is it feeling being a sixth year?" he asked.

Natalia's was drawing a circle with her finger on the ground, listening to the young girl rambling on about magic.
"Yes...it's great..." Natalia blew a strand of stray hair out of the wait. "Speaking of magic...that Platform...what was it...nine and a half? Nine and three-quarters? It was crazy!" Natalia exclaimed, her eyes shining with fascination. "My parents were so shocked..." Natalia let out a giggle upon remembering her parents' astounded expressions. "Is this your first time too?" Nat switched to another subject, curious to get to know this little girl.
Boring people get boring? Natalia broke out into a full out laugh. Little kids can be so cute.
"Yes, I'm not boring. I agree." Natalia beamed. "But non-magic stuff can be interesting too." She pointed out. "But yes, magic overall is more interesting than no magic!" Natalia held up her hand, ready to receive a high-five from this fellow young witch.
"Oh, I'm Natalia. Call me Nat if you want." The fourteen-year old introduced herself. She listened to Rusty's some sort of proverb. "That's cute. But it's not going to work for me." Natalia remarked as she returned to drawing invisible circles on the ground. "I am very hard to please." Natalia mentioned with a whimsical face, slightly teasing the young girl in a playful way.

"I came with my grammy." So her parent wasn't shocked. "She jumped when she saw someone run through it though, I think she was scared, but she doesn't ever really show it so I'm not sure." Honestly, Grammy Helen was a woman of steel nerves. Though Rusty suspected this wasn't entirely true, she'd never seen anything to suggest otherwise. "Yep!" Rowan straightened herself up proudly. "ALL my siblings are really jealous cause they don't get to come with me. It's sad though cause I think Robin would be really good at magic if someone would let them try." Honestly, Brook too. She wasn't so sure about Laurel, he was a bit too serious, she thought. But maybe that was just cause he was like, an older teenager now.
"I've always had non magic stuff. Well. Sort of." But she couldn't be bothered explaining all that right now. "But all this stuff is new to me so it's super exciting and I can't WAIT to start." She wanted to be able to do all the cool spells in her books and make all the super awesome things happen. Except potions. She was going to have an issue with THAT. OH HIGH FIVE! Yeah! Rowan returned the high five with vigour.
Natalia. Right. New Friend Natalia. "Natalia is a pretty name." Rusty said, blowing a bit of her hair out of her face. "But I think you're wrong. You can't be THAT hard to please. You just high fived me. And people don't do that if they're hard to please." Plus, she was nice, and nice people were usually quite easy to please.

"Oh, I see." Natalia couldn't remember her grandmothers, since she have spent so much time with her parents. As much as she loved her parents, Natalia was glad to have a couple months to be away from them. First of all, relationships required distance to grow. Second, Natalia wouldn't have to worry as much about her parents yapping at her about her academic grades. "That was really cool. At my old school, they had nothing fancy of the sort." Just old boats.
"I'm the only one in my family with magical abilities..." Natalia mentioned quite proudly. Wait no. "...well, at least so far. I have a younger brother who's nine, but he hasn't shown any signs yet." Honestly, Natalia would do anything to make sure Ivan isn't a wizard, because he was, to Nat, an annoying little brat. "The magic is all very exciting, yes, but..." Natalia suddenly dropped her jaw and rolled her pupils inside her skull, attempting to make a ghost face. "I heard there are ghosts at Hogwarts." Try and scare the little kid. Hurhur.
"Aww, thanks!" Natalia beamed at Rusty's compliment. "But wait what." Haha, this little girl's logic was starting to confuse Natalia, in an amusing way. "Well...what if I like to high five people whenever I'm unhappy?" Natalia teased. "I'm just special like that."

Hang on, OLD SCHOOL? "Is there more than one magic school?" Come to think of it, that made a lot of sense. Surely not ALL the magic people in the world could go to one school, so there HAD to be something more. "I've never been to school before, me and my siblings and the other kids are taught by the grown ups, so we never had to go to a proper school." Yep. Rusty and Peter and Hadley and Ellery and Laurel and Robin and Willow and Brook and Jasper and Kimberly and Lowell and Archie and Abbi and Lily aaaaaaaall learned together. Except sometimes they separated into age groups so they could do maths and stuff.
"Me too!" Sort of. "I have two little siblings and one of the other kids is younger than me too but I think it might be just me." She selfishly hoped it would, though she'd definitely tell them all about it when she got home. She just liked having something to herself... it was hard to have private things when you lived with thirteen other kids and all their adults. "I KNOW!! Someone told me. I'm really excited. I hope they'll talk to me."
... high fiving people when she was unhappy? "Well that's... that makes no sense. Don't do that." Y'know, unless she wanted to, but still. "I like you." She was funny. And Rowan generally told people exactly what she thought, so there it was.
Sophia being her cheery and bouncy self that she always walked through the Platform looking around for any of her friends, she didn't see Savannah or Tyler and Tobias anywhere but she didn't want Seth to find her, she still didn't believe that he liked her. Not since he was just using her, how could he do something like that, how could he just crush and then apologize like that? Sophia still wasn't over it, but no one knew what happened over the summer time but Kace,Sophia and the Lockwood twins, she didn't like talking about it. Walking through the platform she seen Kace and Adi and smiled weakly at them. "Hi Adi and Mumbles. said Sophia. Hugging them she felt a little bit better, she knew that being close to her friends would make everything better, a truthful heartbreak always stinks!
Getting some fudge out she started eating it before she turned to Adi and Kace, holding some out for them. "Do you two want any? "Sophia asked them softly but curiously tilting her head at them. Seeing them talking to a girl she smiled at her. "Hello I'm Sophia, nice to meet you. " said Sophia giving her a soft warm smile.

As Kace was talking to Leah and Adi and catching up, he heard another familiar voice. He turned around and noticed it was Sophia! He grinned and went over to hug his candy queen. "Heyyy Candy Queen.." he smirked and giving her the nickname she deserved. "How was it getting here?" he asked curiously. He noticed she brought out the fudge and his eyes widened. Mannn that sure looked good. He shook his head though, "I will take a rain check. I need real food in my stomach before I have sweets." he said patting his stomach.
OH RIGHT introductions. He decided to be the ice breaker. "Leah this is Sophia.." he said gesturing toward the fourth year puff. "She is also a hufflepuff like yourself." I mean gotta start on common ground there right?
Wow...where does the time fly? Savannah couldn't believe that it was already time to go back to school already! Although Savannah had a great time this summer hanging out with Kace and all them at her Ranch house, despite the drama it ended up being a good summer. Walking through the wall, Savannah dragged her trunk behind her looking for her friends but she didn't have to look hard, they were basically right in front of her! Walking over towards them she smiled at them. "Well...look who's early for once, I thought we decided to be rebellious this year Bubba Badger? "said Savannah smirking at Kace. "Hey Hugglepuff, how are you holding up? "Savannah asked her. Seeing Adi she waved at him. "Hey Adi, long time no see, how are you? "Savannah asked him.

Tobias made it to the platform beating his twin brother Tyler, ah...the smell of pure defeat, he just loved it. Seeing Tyler crossing his arms he smirked to his twin brother. "Oh come on Ty, you beat me every time, let me beat you once! "said Tobias chuckling. Dragging his trunk behind him he seen Sophia and Savannah and smiled before he looked back at Tyler. "Soph, Savy and Kace are here! "said Tobias as he walked over towards them. Seeing Savannah he smiled and kissed her cheek. "Hello Beautiful, Hey Kace and Hugglepuff. said Tobias hugging Sophia before giving a nod to Kace.

Do you have any suggestions?" he asked curiously looking at the vendors.

Walking through the wall, Savannah dragged her trunk behind her looking for her friends but she didn't have to look hard, they were basically right in front of her! Walking over towards them she smiled at them. "Well...look who's early for once, I thought we decided to be rebellious this year Bubba Badger? "said Savannah smirking at Kace. "Hey Hugglepuff, how are you holding up? "Savannah asked her. Seeing Adi she waved at him. "Hey Adi, long time no see, how are you? "Savannah asked him.

"Hello Beautiful, Hey Kace and Hugglepuff. said Tobias hugging Sophia before giving a nod to Kace.
Leah smiled back at Kace. She could not believe that he was a SEVENTH Year. He would be graduating this term. Nope, she would not think about that. Not now when it was only the beginning of the year, anyway. "Hmmm," she said, observing the vendors. She had been here once in her Third Year because she did not have any breakfast before leaving. "I know the Cauldron Bread here is pretty good," she nodded.
Her brown eyes scanned the North End of the Platform for a moment, pausing on a familiar Hufflepuff. "Hi Adi!" she grinned as he jogged towards them, "I am doing great, REALLY looking forward to my Fifth Year. What about you?" It was good to just chat with him without the teasing that had been going on for quite a while. If she thought this was going to continue, she was wrong. "NO. Have you?" she replied also quite casually, raising an eyebrow.
The girl watched as a younger girl she recognized from school walked in their direction. She was kind of surprised when she began talking to Kace and Adi. Ohhh, so she was friends with them! Leah stood by the side, humming a small tune as they talked. She did not want to disturb them or anything. Then introductions were being made. "Hi Sophia, it is GREAT to meet you too. I think I remember seeing you around in the Hufflepuff Common Room," she said rather enthusiastically, "as Kace mentioned, I am Leah. Leah Abbott. Fifth Year."
Two more people about her age showed up too. It seemed like everybody knew each other and she was not part of the group. "Hi, I am Leah," she said with a smile.

Henric hugged his parents goodbye before walking through the walls and into platform 9 and 3/4 alone this time. It was finally time to board the train back to school after months of enjoying his summer holidays. He was half-excited and half-sad that his vacation was over now and he won't be able to see his parents until Christmas time.
Fouth-year...he still couldn't believe it! Time passed by so fast! Henric made his way through the crowd of people while pushing his trolley towards the luggage loading area. He noticed students already forming a group and talking loudly from where he stood. Oh, he realised its his friends! He walked over to the group, mostly consisted of his housemates.
"Hi,guys!"he greeted. Henric saw Adi and gave him a wave before turning to Leah...His cheeks reddening slightly before greeting her casually,"Hi..Leah, hope you had a good summer."

Sixth year. Nothing exciting to be honest, but for Ethan, it was going to be the best year of his life. Why? Come October, the Trace would finally be off of him, and he’d be able to do spells in and out of school. How.Cool.Is.That? The soon to be seventeen year old pushed his trolley towards the front of the platform, expecting it to be empty-ish. He’d love to have a quiet time while waiting for the train’s doors to let them in, but, his expectation was completely wrong. Lots of kids were there, and most of them were busy chatting among themselves, therefore, it was a noisy place.
Well, he should have expected it because most of them are excited to go back to school. Sighing, he looked back and was tempted to turn around and go towards the back end of the platform, but decided not to, because...WALKING.
Ethan pushed his trolley against the wall, and looked around him once more. Adi was there...so was Kace...and Henric. He waved at them all, and grinned at the other students who didn’t seem familiar to him. Transfers perhaps? Leaving them all to continue their conversations, Ethan dropped to the ground, propped his feet against the wall, and did vertical push-ups. What? He’s got nothing better to do, and besides, the exercise will tire him out eventually so he’d definitely have an easy time to snooze during the day-long trip.

"Who says you have to graduate?" Adi asked and suddenly wishing he and Kace were in the same year. It would be such a bummer to not have one of his first real Hogwarts friends around. "You can always fail your NEWTs.'' Cue the wink! Naaah, Adi was kidding. He was sure Kace had everything planned out for his life from the moment he graduated. "Old. I feel like an old dude.'' He grinned, imagining himself as a guy with grey hair. Anyway, he was not going to ask Kace how he felt about being a seventh year. Adi had an idea as to what his answer might be.
"Ah, the OWL year. I remember mine as though it were yesterday.'' Hehe. Well, it was certainly still fresh in his mind so, yeah. "Don't forget to be my offer to help with your studies.'' He would make a better studying partner, yes? If Henric tried to help Leah, she would be distracted. Adi had eyes, Henric and Leah! He could see something brewing between you two even though it was Burbage's ghost who had actually made him take note of that. LOL. Ohhh, just look at Leah wanting to know where the other Puffer was. "Nope. He's so cool, you know. He makes great company.'' Yep.
Adi turned towards the sound of another person's voice who was calling him. Sophia! Oh man! It was indeed great to be back among all these people. It made him forget about his earlier brooding completely. "Hey, Sophs!'' He noticed she didn't seem to be as bouncy and happy as usual... those traits that some Hufflepuffs seemed to have hard wired into them. "Are you alright?" he asked with concern etched all over his face as he hugged his friend back.
"Hiya, Savannah!'' Adi smiled at the Gryffindor. "I'm good, thank you for asking. How about you? All set for another year?" He grinned at the other Lion, Tyler, before looking to see... Henric! "Hi, Henric!'' He held out a fist for bump from the younger dude. Don't leave him hanging. Hehe. Adi decided not to say anything else for now because his friend had turned his attention to Leah. Naw, he was going to hold off on the teasing... for now. Just look at those red cheeks though
And hello, Ethan! Adi waved back to the friendly Slytherin who went off to do... exercises. Interesting choice to make but who could blame Ethan. Staying in shape was critical in Adi's opinion. "Had a good summer?'' he decided to ask. Was Ethan going to mind?

More than one magic stuff? "Yeah, of course!" Natalia nodded. "I know there are the famous ones in Europe like Durmstrang and Beauxbatons... " She was positive she had heard about them somewhere. In fact, Natalia was aware of most of the prestigious schools - both magical and muggle - on the planet. It was simply because of how Natalia was raised; her parents were always instilling the thought good academics lead to good schools which lead to good jobs, so now it became a habit for Natalia to find out about these type of things. ...and that's not counting the ones in other parts of the world." Natalia continued to explain. "In China, where I lived for a few years, there are at least three magic schools, because there are just so many wizards and witches."
"Oh really?" Natalia had never met anyone who was home schooled. "So it was like a home school?" Nat's parents never approved of such schooling, simply because they believed in the value of socializing, leadership, and competition. "Hey, Rusty," Nat suddenly had a different thought in mind. "What house do you think you'll be in when you get to Hogwarts?"
"Yeah, don't share your knowledge with them, Rusty." Natalia let out a slight laugh. Ivan would be pestering all day to make Natalia show him a magic "trick".
Natalia was slightly disappointed that she had failed in scaring the young witch. Come on...Nat couldn't be scary and awesome at the same time?
"Nah, I think I'm going to high-five you every single time I'm unhappy." Hurhur. Shifty Nat. "Aww..." Was that the first time anyone ever said "I like you" to Natalia just like that? Whoa. Nat's heart was melting all over. "That's sweet. Thank you." Natalia smiled at the girl. "I like you too." Always the right response, right?

Abby made her way over to the north end of the platform and placed her trunk down it weighed a ton and she had wished that she hadn't brought so much stuff but she hoped that she might be able to get rid of some of it during the school term
You have bewitched me body and soul, And I love- I love- I love you
Evie stood next to her parents on the platform, she was nervous as she watched all the other students wonder around talking to people they knew and laughing. She could overhear a few students talking about which classes they were looking forward to. She had glanced through her school books after they had been bought but nothing, other than Potions, even looked remotely interesting. Her friends back home thought she was going to boarding school in America.
Taryn smoothed her daughter's hair on her back and watched out of the corner of her eye as her husband fidgeted next to them. She had not been around any one from her former life since she first left and met Matthew. She had written off everyone including her parents. How would they take being completely out of Evie and Sybil's life? They didn't even know they had grandchildren or that Taryn had been married. She effectively had fooled Matthew into thinking she was just a bit different and until Evie showed signs and that blasted owl showed up no one had a clue. SIGH Surprisingly Matthew adjusted rather well and was somewhat okay with sending Evie to Hogwarts. Taryn refused to not let her at least see if she wanted to continue down this path and learn who she really was.
Evie smiled at her father and hugged him "It's going to be alright daddy, I'll write to you every day. And before long it will be Christmas and I will be home with Sybbie. " The brunette squeezed him even tighter. She was really only saying this for herself, she knew that her mother could handle her father, but to be honest she was going to miss them. All of them, even Sybil.
Henric returned his attention back to Adi and did the fist bump with him. He chuckled," Hey Adi,how are you too?"It was what a few weeks he last seen them since their school summer trip. He wondered what they been up to after saying their last goodbyes to each other.Remind him to ask for their post owl address next time especially Leah's.(^.^)
He turned around when Ethan's name was mentioned. "Hi Etha-"he paused, slightly confused at what Ethan was doing.Exercising? Woah...didn't know he could do that! Impressive! "Nicee...you should do one-handed!"Henric called after him.
He turned back around to the others he didn't quite know very well. "Hello...nice to meet you all, my name is Henric,Hufflepuff,4th year,"he smiled, introducing himself confidently.
