| | Managing Editor’s Office [12/10/2010 - 07/07/2012] The first thing you notice when you enter Sienna Knoll's office is a panoramic window which holds a view of Diagon Alley. This isn't always the case, on rainy days the window displays a view of San Francisco's Golden Gate bridge with as much sun as possible. Clearly, the main focus of the window is sunlight. And quite a lot of sunlight!
Once you grow accustomed to the blinding sunshine, you'll see Sienna's hiding place working area, her desk always neatly arranged is placed in front of a wall that has five photographs, yet the wall is only there to hide the big bookshelf - accessed only by Sienna and Ian Hoshino.
If you thought everything from her former office was lost...FEAR NOT. The tons of astonishing photographs are still there, like a movie, on one of those muggle plasma TVs hung on the wall opposite her desk (yes, this was a gift from her muggle boyfriend).
The glass door that reads: Sienna I. Knoll / Managing Editor, is framed by a great glass wall, which turns white whenever she feels like it.
Once again we remind you not to bring coffee into this particular office. Water or gilly water is very much allowed. You are HERE. |

| Eagle Eye [⅓ Badger Trio] Felon & Kafka ♥ Gilderoy Lockhart <3 [TEAM 947!] Her beautiful golden retriever was right there! Like, there! Laying down on the floor next to her, because Sienna had many things to attend to, see? Managing Editor, it was a handful!
A married Managing Editor...even more so.
But, no, really, her work load had been cleaned of by dearest Ian, and she was now staring into Diagon Alley when a flying memo came to her and...she almost gasped! Ian Hoshino was keeping her up to date! Oh, dear Morgana! The world must be ending. Or something. With a flick of her wand she made the flying memo disappear and started to write a little note on a piece of parchment.
The piece of parchment left through the glass walls, which were now appearing to be solid, since she'll be getting a private audience with a newcomer soon. |

| ♥Dunkin | Pixie's Precious Pea | kpop goddess | sneaky sounder | forever slytherin♥ It... it had to be somewhere around here.
Raiden felt woefully lacking at this very moment. Seven full years of finding his way around Hogwarts, and when presented with a regular building, he still managed to get lost.
Or at least feel so. He continued on the way he'd been going, and eventually the right door had come up. Not lost. Just... terribly nervous. The young man brushed his hands over the rolled up sleeves of his shirt and, after taking one last look down at himself to make sure he hadn't somehow gone from well-dressed to hobo, he stepped up to it and knocked on the door.
It was only polite, after all. |

| Eagle Eye [⅓ Badger Trio] Felon & Kafka ♥ Gilderoy Lockhart <3 [TEAM 947!] By this time, Sienna had gotten up from her seat in order to get a better view of that woman over there at the Street. Bright pink robes were never in fashion, seriously! How did the woman manage to buy them was beyond her reasoning. Miss Knoll--Mrs Walker--er, Knoll-Walker preferred the Muggle outfits, they were forever beautiful and perfectly fit.
Bright pink robes left the pretty sight of Diagon Alley that one could see from her window, finally, it was beginning to drive her insane, when a knock was heard. "Come in!" she said, expecting the visitor to be either the newcomer or Pepper, because Pepper always had the most amusing stories...when he talked. |

| ♥Dunkin | Pixie's Precious Pea | kpop goddess | sneaky sounder | forever slytherin♥ The woman's voice was allowing him entrance. Drawing a deep, calming breath, the young man turned the door handle slowly, and he let himself into her office.
It was a nice office. Bright. His eyes were well-used to the sunlight from having been outside only minutes ago, but still he blinked, almost in surprise. He let his gaze wander the office curiously for a moment before focusing on the woman. Miss Knoll, right? The door had said.
Inclining his head slightly, he stepped nearer to the desk, to door closing softly behind him.
"Hello. I'm Raiden Kururugi... 's a pleasure to meet you." He held out a hand, ghost of a nervous smile on his face.
Merlin help him if he was in the wrong place. |

| Eagle Eye [⅓ Badger Trio] Felon & Kafka ♥ Gilderoy Lockhart <3 [TEAM 947!] The pretty little golden retriever couldn't help but bark when the outside person came inside. But it wasn't a mean bark, the puppy was more, like, informing her that someone else was in the room.
Ironically, such a thing never happened when Hoshino came inside.
Hoshino! Oh! As soon as Sienna turned to see the new person she thought she'd seen a young Hoshino...really, if Ian was...how many years old? Then he would've totally like this...boy? Yes, he looked like a boy. Too bad it wasn't Pepper the one that came inside.
The woman smiled while her hair sparkled like the sun thanks to the light, and...er, why was the boy holding out a hand? Oh, a handshake! Of course! She did so, very professionally. Good thing she was still standing next to the desk. "Raiden, yes, it's very nice to meet you," not that she really knew, though.
And then a flick of her wand made a file appear on her neatly arranged desk. She didn't bother on checking it out, she'd assumed what Ian had hired the boy for, "Please, take a seat" she said, gesturing to the most comfortable chairs he'd find in the Daily Prophet.
Walk, walk, walk, chair, sits. "Now, you're our new Secretary, correct?" yes, because that Morgan boy was supposed to be leaving after she'd caught his post totally empty. Sienna didn't even let Raiden react to what she said, "It is a very simple job, you should never leave your post." That was all a Secretary needed to do. At least the ones that worked here. |

| ♥Dunkin | Pixie's Precious Pea | kpop goddess | sneaky sounder | forever slytherin♥ There was... a puppy. He hadn't immediately noticed the thing, as his focus had gone from one thing to the next. Still, Raiden didn't mind dogs. He cast a curious look at it before focusing on the woman.
She'd seemed hesitant to shake his hand, at first, and Rai had had a half-second of confusion. But then she was telling him to sit and he sank obediently into a chair.
Soft chair.
Secretary? The young man's eyes widened, and his mouth opened to protest. However, he wasn't immediately sure what he was going to say. He'd... err.
"Isn't... that Plym's job?" he asked, confusion evident. "I thought... I don't think that's what I'm meant to be doing, Miss. At least, I wasn't under the impression that that was what I was hired for..."
He couldn't take Plymouth's job! It was Plymouth's! That would just... not be cool. O_O |

| Eagle Eye [⅓ Badger Trio] Felon & Kafka ♥ Gilderoy Lockhart <3 [TEAM 947!] And she was about to continue telling him all the other duties, which mainly required him to be present whenever he didn't know he had to be, and he said...
Plym? Who the heck was Plym?! Wait a minute! "Plymouth Morgan, you mean?" she asked, her face didn't held any sort of surprise from the news. Why was Plymouth Morgan still working here? Huh? Well, since that was a question the new boy couldn't possibly answer, then she'd ask Plymouth Morgan herself. Yes.
Her blue eyes scanned the file on her desk and she decided to eye it, in front of the person whose name was written all over it. And she laughed the softest of laughs, "I thought...it's alright, Mister Kururugi, mind if I call you Raiden?" she had already done so, and it really didn't matter if he said yes or no. "No, no, I now see that you were appointed as a Lifestyle writer..." but her face turned to a serious one, the hair still golden like the sun, as she leaning against her chair dropping the file with a not-too-loud *thud* on the desk.
Eyes on the boy. Lifestyle writer, huh? Why was he not appointed as an Intern? "How did you get this job, Raiden? And why the Daily Prophet?" she asked him, her serious face still there, "You've just left Hogwarts, right?" the last one was a question that truly had nothing to do with anything, she was merely curious. |

| ♥Dunkin | Pixie's Precious Pea | kpop goddess | sneaky sounder | forever slytherin♥ He nodded at her question. How many Plyms worked here, that she'd have to ask? Moreover, how many were secretaries?
She was looking at the file now, and Raiden felt suddenly and overwhelmingly self-conscious. It was about him, he assumed, that file. And about what he'd been hired for, and all that.
"It's usually easier for people than using my last name," he murmured, half-smiling. His last name... well, Neptune had wanted to change it, hadn't she. Because it was so odd to most people here. When she finally found the job he'd been told he'd been hired for, Raiden nodded, one hand sneaking up and turning the stud in his earlobe unconsciously.
How had he... he frowned ever so slightly at that question. Shouldn't that be in there as well?
"I just... applied for it," he murmured, fingers still working at his ear. Why the Daily Prophet? "Well... why not?"
It was well-known, and would be a solid job that he could stay at for a long time if needed. It was close to home, too. And if he didn't figure out what he wanted to do in university, he could just... stay here. It was a good job.
"Mmm. Just this past term... is that a problem?"
Had his hiring been an accident or something? He bit the inside of his lip worriedly. |

| Eagle Eye [⅓ Badger Trio] Felon & Kafka ♥ Gilderoy Lockhart <3 [TEAM 947!] Good. Good. She was calling him Raiden now, forever. Even if it was to bring some water or something. Though, she had the feeling that' what Morgan was around for, right?
A smirk was forming on her face, it may have been noticed by the boy or not, as he answered the questions. Short answers. Answers that held no answers in reality. It seems we have a smart one. She tapped her friends against the desk and leaned forward. "I see," she said, while eying the file once more, "It seems we have a mistake here," her eyes went over to gaze at the window again, and a full two minutes passed...very silent two minutes.
Very, very silent two minutes.
Until she spoke again. "Nice weather outside." It was awfully bad she had to stay here today, talking to newcomers, instead of enjoying the beautiful sun out her window. "As I was saying," she found herself with a memory of a certain Tristan that had held a similar conversation, "I think there's been a mistake here," yes, she said that again, but this time her Snidget golden quill was pointing to a very specific part of the file, "It says that you're highly suitable for the job, but..." adds a pause for dramatic effect, "...truth is, you're PERFECT!" And no, she didn't exclaim the last part, but she did pronounce it with her amazing American accent, "That's how we should answer questions around here," vague, very vague answers, because that gives the interviewer a small chance to break down and tell us everything we need to know. "I'm just going to need you to sign your contract...here." she placed the Snidget golden quill on top of it and waited for him to sign. |

| ♥Dunkin | Pixie's Precious Pea | kpop goddess | sneaky sounder | forever slytherin♥ The expression, coupled with the words, was enough to make the teenager a bit paranoid. Mistake? Did she... mean his being hired? Had he filled out something wrong, and they'd been expecting someone who was 48, not 18?
The boy had faced down a cockatrice, and yet this seemed to be instilling more worry and fear in him than that.
His fingers worked nervously, anxiously, at the stud in his ear. She seemed to sit there, silent, for hours rather than minutes.
When she finally spoke again, all he could do was nod. It was nice outside, yes. It was more comfortable than he currently was, that much was sure.
Mistake. He leaned forward a bit in his seat, head tilting as she indicated something he couldn't see on a file page.
...surprise.
Perfect? The wide-eyed young man's face flooded with a vague pink tinge, and his lips twitched with the urge to smile. She'd scared him a bit, probably her intention.
Contract. Right.
"Ah." He nodded and leaned forward, picking up the gold quill (eyes tracing it in fascination for only a second) and setting the tip to the line. His signature, while fairly long, was a quick enough scribble.
'Raiden Jae Kururugi'.
His eyes left the page and went back to the woman. Was that... it? |

| Eagle Eye [⅓ Badger Trio] Felon & Kafka ♥ Gilderoy Lockhart <3 [TEAM 947!] Yes, it was perfect. The day, the sun, the new employee. He has what it takes, you know? To become an awesome reporter. Though he was still fairly young and this was probably some job to test some grounds.
Sienna eyed him as he picked the small quill, oh the memories from when she got it where flooding back into her head. And all of the sudden, Raiden was already done with his first assignment, huh? Good. "Now you're official part of the Daily Prophet. Welcome." There was a smile on her face, and then she continued on, "You answer to your Section Editor directly, her name is Hunter Bones, but I'm sure you already know that," and if he didn't then now he did. "Unless something extremely important arises, then you may come here or directly to Ian Hoshino."
There was no need for this Knoll to let him about his job, after all, he must know how everything is done if he accepted the job, correct? "If you have any questions, then you know you ought to contact your Section Editor," yes, because Sienna didn't have the time, couldn't you see she was busy gazing into Diagon Alley taking care of a puppy? Raiden was more than welcome to come to her office anytime, of course, but Hunter would know more about the Lifestyle Section than herself.
Her eyes went over to the door, and then back to Raiden. "This is all for now, you're free to leave, I believe there's a desk with your name on it already, just find it." And that was a pretty easy task, right? "Also, Raiden, tell Morgan that he should stop by my office some time today, please." And she smiled again. There was no point in telling Raiden what that meeting was going to be about.
There, there, he could leave. |

| ♥Dunkin | Pixie's Precious Pea | kpop goddess | sneaky sounder | forever slytherin♥ He listened intently, as she let out a stream of information that he half-remembered. Hunter Bones. That was one of the names he had written on the scrap of parchment in his pocket. The big bosses were she and Ian Hoshino. And they would likely go unbothered by Raiden, for the most part. He couldn't imagine what problems would arise that he'd need to go past his own section's boss.
With a nod, he stood. He'd probably go find this Hunter woman now, just to introduce himself. And make sure she didn't have any objections to the eighteen year old that was now one of her subordinates...
"Thank you very much, Miss Knoll," he murmured, inclining his head once more before starting toward the door. Just as he laid his hand on the knob, he looked back at her, only a little bit confused, and nodded. "I'll tell him."
With that, and his nerves only slightly placated, he slipped out of the office, closing the door behind him so the puppy couldn't escape. |

| Eagle Eye [⅓ Badger Trio] Felon & Kafka ♥ Gilderoy Lockhart <3 [TEAM 947!] She could've corrected him, but even Sienna was having a hard time trying to figure out her name now. She usually tended to forget the change of the name, something that should be notified to Gringotts whenever she gets a chance.
And maybe get a bigger vault, yes? Or just open a new one for the family when the time is right and KEEP her own. You never know.
Mmmhmm. The woman nodded as the boy left.
A couple minutes later the glass wall actually turned to glass again, because she needed to know when Plymouth was coming down, and hopefully he wouldn't insist on knocking on the glass door seeing that he was expected. |

He peeked into every office down between his office and Boss Knoll's. They were at opposite ends of the Daily Prophet building, so he got to do a look of peeking.
He raised his hand to knock... but at the last minute GRINNED through the glass and changed it to a WAVEY wave. "Hehe." He mouthed, "HI BOSS" from his side of the barrier. |

| Eagle Eye [⅓ Badger Trio] Felon & Kafka ♥ Gilderoy Lockhart <3 [TEAM 947!] Let's all hope that Raiden found his way around the office. At least he could find the way to the Entrance, which will mean that he'll have to see Plymouth eventually.
Sienna should've sent a memo just in case, but since she was entirely BUSY (riiiight), then she didn't.
And right when she looked out the glass door there he was. A Plymouth Morgan was grinning his way from being fired. But, really, who could resist such sweetness? Her eyebrow was raised when she noticed the hand waving thing....wasn't he planning on coming inside?
She smiled, though, as she gestured for him to come inside.
He better do so now. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Zahra Kettleburn Seventh Year | Inside Kitty | HIT ENTER | UNO Queen Alright! An invite in. Sure, it probably meant more work for him, but at least for the time being it was something to do. Plymouth pushed gently on the door, rolled around it, then carefully shut it back. The whole thing being glass and all, he was EXTRA careful.
"Mr. Kururugi said you wanted to see me?" Plymouth shoved his hands back into his pockets and took a place in front of her desk. She could definitely see him from there. No way to miss him. |

| iSorry. RL. Eagle Eye [⅓ Badger Trio] Felon & Kafka ♥ Gilderoy Lockhart <3 [TEAM 947!] There was no need, really, to be that extra careful, after all, this was the Wizarding world, where shattered glass could be easily fixed, but perhaps it was better if he didn't break it. So, thank you for being nice to the glass door.
Mr. Kururugi? Oh, right! Raiden, "Yes, there was a minor misunderstanding with Raiden," she started to say, notice how she calls him by the first name? "So, I called for you," and it was a good thing Raiden knew Plymouth already or it would have taken the boy a long time to find him...considering he tended not to be at his post most of the time.
Sienna straightened herself on her chair, "Please, have a seat, Mr. Morgan." She gestured to the nearest comfy chair, and smiled.
The sunlight coming from the window simply made the pretty hair look even prettier, but don't let looks deceive you, this wasn't a pretty conversation. "You see, I actually thought Raiden was hired to replace you...meaning, of course, that you were fired," yes, she actually thought Plymouth had been fired and that's why Raiden was taking the job, truth be told the skinny younger boy looks more like a Secretary type than a reporter, but he certainly had the most amazing answers. "Care to wonder why I assumed such a thing, Mr. Morgan?" she was still smiling, a small smile, but it was still a smile. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Zahra Kettleburn Seventh Year | Right? RL is so selfish. Inside Kitty | HIT ENTER | UNO Queen Plymouth happily plopped down into a chair and propped up along the arms of the chair. Misunderstanding? Raiden? Oh? Was there going to be candy offered like most of the other nice ladies of the Prophet? When Jane still worked at the Prophet (=(), she'd let him feed her rock...
... ??????????????????????
Poor Plymouth's eyes grew wide and she could probably watch the color drain from his face. "Re... replace me?" FIRED?!? Plymouth swallowed loudly, suddenly feeling very clammy.
He was FIRED???
Her smiling at him made his confusion tenfold what it was. "N-no ma'am?" Plymouth would ... wouldn't Raiden have mentioned the fact he was his replacement...? |

| Eagle Eye [⅓ Badger Trio] Felon & Kafka ♥ Gilderoy Lockhart <3 [TEAM 947!] Sienna's eyes wandered off to the nice looking view of Diagon Alley for a second, and when they turned themselves to Plymouth again she completely noticed how the poor boy (yes, boy!) was taking in some unheard news.
Her smile was gone, and there was an invisible frown on her face. No one could ever replace him, after all, he was actually amazing at his job when he was at his post, of course. "Yes, replace you," she started to say, "I honestly don't know how Ian could make the choice of hiring someone younger...," er, yes, she stopped the sentence there, because when Plymouth first came she'd sort of been against having an inexperienced person take care of the one and only job that could keep the Daily Prophet working as a whole. Yes, the Daily Prophet Secretary person was the most important and exhausting job in the Headquarters, but she wouldn't mention that to Plymouth until the day he finally gets to leave...on his own accord, because he wasn't going to be fired anytime soon. Possibly. "It doesn't matter, though," whatever she thinks about even younger people taking said position.
Then she leaned against her chair and faked a confused look on her face. Confused over the fact that Plymouth didn't even know where could she have gotten the idea of him being replaced? Yes, that kind of faked confusion. "You don't, Mr. Morgan?" and she almost called him Plymouth right there, "That is odd, really odd, because the reason why I assumed such a thing," him being fired, "was simply based on the fact that you seem not to be at your post when I arrive, nor when I leave," all ten hundred times of the day, "So, clearly, by missing you at the entrance I assumed you were gone and your replacement not found yet," oh, well, yes, it was a very nice explanation, wasn't it? "Of course, it was Raiden who informed me of your current employment situation," but she hadn't seen Plymouth at the entrance today. Fingers tapping on the table. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Zahra Kettleburn Seventh Year | Inside Kitty | HIT ENTER | UNO Queen Plymouth sat forward, his elbows on his knees and his face in his hands. He was thinking seriously about throwing up in Mrs. Sienna's floor. He couldn't be FIRED. He hadn't... done.. anything THAT bad.
So he added a few mustaches to a few of the pictures of Ministry officials in yesterday paper. And he might have used office hours to perfect his jump rope charms so he'd be able to keep up with his baby sister. And Plymouth sometimes ate at his desk.
But other than that.... nothing serious. He hadn't broken anything BIG yet!
He peeped up at her when she finished speaking about him not being at his desk. Errr... FROWN. "Are you firing me now because I wasn't at my desk? I swear I was here! I didn't arrive late! I.. I... you can ask Hunter!"
She'd cover for him, right? Probably? MERLIN. "I'm sorry. I'll be better. I'll be there tomorrow morning. I promise. I swear. I'd really like to not be fired, please?" |

| Eagle Eye [⅓ Badger Trio] Felon & Kafka ♥ Gilderoy Lockhart <3 [TEAM 947!] Wait. Was Plymouth alright? Sienna stood up and walked all the way to the front of her desk, "Are you okay, Plymouth?" yes, yes, she used his first name, but she was actually slightly concerned about his well-being even if it didn't show on her face, the pretty sunlight never made her look worried about a thing.
But she did raise an eyebrow when he asked why he was being fired for...was he being fired right now? No. Then...why? "Oh, no, well, that could be one of many reasons to be fired for, but you aren't being fired, Mr. Morgan," she said, shaking her head, though she could see why he'd understood that. "See, I assumed you were, I didn't know about Raiden taking a reporter position," she did know about someone showing up today for that, but she didn't know the person was going to be so young. "But you weren't. And are not." It was best to clarify it, right? However, if Plymouth did something else besides not being at his post and she got to find out, then maaaaaybe, just maaaaybe she'll go and talk to Ian.
Sigh. It was like Tristan all over again, perhaps Sienna shouldn't pause much while she spoke, "You won't be," he'd been better than that old lady, especially with the kids that kept showing up at their door. "You always had your job, I just wasn't aware of that," and now he knew why she hadn't know it, yes? Yes?
He'll be at his desk when she arrives, right?
The only one to blame is Ian, for not making sure she's aware about the new hires and such. |
