Magic Carpet Ride Broom racing not your child's thing? Take a look over yonder, and you'll find another ride that's equally fun, and much more colorful. A myriad of beautiful magic carpets await the kids who would like a slower and more graceful ride. Want a buddy to ride with you? That can be done here! Each carpet can fit two children, or one of the larger kids depending on your size. Have tiny babies too small to ride a carpet without adults? We have ones for you as well. They ride slower than the others, but are equally as fun. This temporary field has been charmed grassy and the carpets have no predetermined path, but don't worry parents, they're charmed not to collide with each other. Just like with the broom racing track, this area has been set up with safety charms so that no harm can befall the children who want a ride. Note: The highest safety measures have been taken to make sure no harm befalls the children. While I'm aware accidents happen, they won't here. So please no broken arms, blood, etc. I'd hate to delete posts. |
Open post :3 Vivienne Fitzgerald's steel blue eyes GAPED at the magical carpets in front of her. Her tiny hand squeezed the life out of her daddy's. She was stuck here thanks to her good for nothing brothers! This is what happens when Daddy makes decisions upon votes. Her pale cheeks flared into a deep pink. It was devastating being the only girl in a set of triplets! She glanced up at her dad, eyebrows drawn together, her lips pursed into a pout. 'How COULD YOU?' her eyes said. How how HOW? She wanted to try and have some fun and not die. "Oh, come on, Vivi-darling," her dad cooed, bopping her nose softly. "I went on one of these a looong time ago. I don't remember it well...for I fell off and landed...on...my...head..." David Fitzgerald's words died in his mouth at the look of pure TERROR in his little girl's eyes. Oops. "You'll have fun!" He tried to mend. Then, after a moment, he freaked out at the thought of his wife getting angry with him when Vivi told her what he'd said. "Someone play with my daughter!!" Vivi was dead with embarrassment. |
Anyone. Magic carpets? MAGIC CARPETS! AHHH! The five year old dressed as the Black Panther ran over to the magic carpet ride. He didn't eve know where his adult supervision was but he was alright over here, right? Of course he was. |
Both of you ^_^ Iselda straightened the crown atop her head as she approached the carpets timidly. There were already a few people there, but Seldy was okay with this. She was wide eyed and staring at the majesticness of...MAGIC CARPETS. WOWZAAAAA. She giggled a little at the man telling someone to pleaaaaaaase play with his daughter. She wanted to say hi. She really did. But her cheeks turned red and she merely...managed a wave at the girl AND the boy who seemed to think it was cool to fall off brooms. Well, Seldy didn't think it was cool at all. It sounded dangerous, and absolutely TOO dangerous. Maybe she didn't wanna' ride a magic carpet after all. Where was GRAN? Over there, watching her with squinted eyes. GO SOCIALIZE. Pft. The eight year old gulped and...stepped closer to little group. "Do...do you think it's possible to...fall off these?" she asked in a whisper to anyone who could answer her. |
For Anyone Théo wanted to go to the choose your own adventure since that seemed the most fun for the ten year old. But apparently his mom made him dress in a suit and well you can say no to his mom.So he had to keep it clean and that was why he was here. He hated it but what can you do when you are stuck at home when your brother and sister are allowed to go where they wanted. Being the youngest sucked. He never had been on a flying carpet. Only on his broom. So he wanted to tell the difference. Also probably wont get his suit messed up that much from just sitting down. Uh, well might as well get his own carpet now. |
Chase, Iselda, Théo SO. EMBARRASSED. Vivi's cheeks flared as her dad managed to gain attention. Attention. Her eyes shut and she pinched the bridge of her nose the same way her mum did whenever their dog did its dirty business in the living room. "Daaaad," she whined quietly. To her horror, someone actually approached them, asking about her dad's unfortunately fall. Her tiny palms grew clammy and she took a step back, her arm itching to wrap around her dad's long leg, but she wasn't a baby anymore. So she held her ground, gripping the strand of her bag tightly. Her dad on the other hand, rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "I certainly did!" he exclaimed happily, then remembered his little princess seemed frightened, so he toned it down a bit. "It was sort of cool--" he couldn't admit it wasn't "--but that's not something you want to try, even if it's safe. Fly safely." Yes. David was here to spread the word. The SAFE word. Someone else approached them. Vivi's fingers tightened around the strap. She had not prepared herself for strangers. She had only braced herself for terrible fun with her brothers! When the whispering girl got closer, Vivi took two steps back, bumping onto someone else (Théo). She squeaked and swung her little purse. David, who was in the process of answer the little girl's (Iselda) question with, "It's totally possible," paused and caught his daughter's purse. "Uh, no no, honey. No hitting boys unless they try to hug you, kiss you, poke you, yell at you, hit you, woo you, or any of the things you mum listed earlier, m'kay?" The kid was okay, yeah? You alive little dude? |
