Default Goblin Mint and Artefact Evaluation

This is where new Galleons, Sickles and Knuts are minted and marked with the serial number of the goblin who made them. The room is at the end of a long corridor leading from the main hall, with old coins displayed in protected glass cases. It is hot within the room, that would be because of the furnace where the goblins make the molten metal used for coin making.

The mills and presses are all manned by Goblins, though the repairs to the mills and presses are done by witches and wizards. As are the deliveries of the raw metals, most of which were recovered by cursebreakers or traded for the riches that the cursebreakers did discover.

There is a viewing area, a small and secure room overlooking the Goblin Mint where processes can be observed.

There is also a receiving area where those individuals in possession of valuable metal artifacts may have their possessions assessed and valued so curse-breakers can often be found here after a particularly good haul waiting for their booty to be evaluated. Members of the wizarding public may also make use of this service by appointment only, and for a small fee of course.

This is not a public area and an escort is necessary to reach this part of the bank.

OOC: While you are allowed to roleplay here, please be sure your character has official business and has entered the bank through the entrance way and main hall. It is best not to post here without your character being invited to do so. You can message one of the Gringotts employees (LilFox06) if you have any questions.

So. S H I N Y.

This little niffler had been lost for the longest while. He didn't know where the others were. he didn't know where his owner was. He didn't know where to find anymore shiny things...until he came here. It wasn't that hard, oh no. He just followed the feet of the visitors to the viewing area of the mint, one wizard's pocket watch holding its attention...until he saw the beauty that lay beyond the looking area.

SHINYSHINYSHINYSHINY.

He kept scratching at the glass until the hand over area caught his eyes. MORE SHINIES. Quick as that, he bolted, ducking and hopping and doing his darnest to find a way around. Finally, against all odds and logic really, the little niffler was now swimming in gold. Shiny shiny shiny. It would keep this one and this....one this one...and...and this one, too.
