Her eyes twinkling in happiness, she returns his kiss. Watching as he left, she turned back to the box closing the top again. Taking her wand she taps it and it disappears, appearing on the kitchen table at their house.

Turning around she starts heading toward where she'd left the paper on the counter, when a young man walked quickly past, taking his seat at the desk. Her eyebrow lifting, as he apologized and set straight to work with the students, she shakes her head.

Brushing her hair over her shoulder, she flashes him a smile anyway. Nothing was gonna dampen her mood, she was too happy to be upset. Picking up the piece of paper, she heads back down the hallway.

'My name is Luna Laximie, and I'd just like to receive the Daily Prophet, if that's possible?'
Luna loved to know what was going on in the wizarding world!

Selina entered the tall impressive front entrance hall. The room was clean and well kept as was the man behind the desk. He was looking down at his work and Selina saw he looked so intent on his current task she thought she should return later. So turning on her small heel the eleven year old quietly attempted to creep out of the building.
Looking behind her as to not disturb the man she watched to see him still at work. Suddenly she fell into the coat holder she was not looking ahead to see. In a matter of minutes the quiet room and hard working man were both disrupted. The little girl inwardly cursed herself for being so foolish.
As quickly as she could she tried to compose herself and fix her clothes and hair that were now a skew. The man behind the desk seemed to be holding in a chuckle and Selina's face grew as red as her deep auburn hair.
In five great strides she made her way back to the front of the desk where the now attentive man sat.
"Hello, I'm Selina Skylar. Sorry to bother you. Um my parents have a subscription to the Daily Prophet and it's sent to our house. I'm going off to Hogwarts this year and I was wondering if maybe you could send the Prophet there as well."
After a few moments of silence Selina also muttered, "Sorry about your coat rack."

The young man had slipped through the front doors quietly, eyes showing only the slightest fascination as people passed him by going this way and that. His nerves jangled as he approached the desk, teeth pressing into his bottom lip as he chewed on it. First day jitters? Check.

His gaze was turned toward the offices, not to the person at the desk, as an anxious hand rubbed at the back of his neck. Who was he supposed to be seeing today??

"I'm... could you direct me to..." Fail, Kururugi. Who was the one in charge of assignments, again? He dug one hand into his pocket, trying to find the scrap of paper he'd scribbled it on.

Plymouth Morgan might have looked intent on his "work" -- but really his "work" was a comic book he was making for Jane. Luckily, he didn't mind gravity mess ups or little girls that seemed afraid and sure of themselves simultaneously. He stood up and peered over his desk.

"Not my coat rack. Hehe. You should maybe apologize to it? You really gave it a bump."

From the top of the desk, Plymouth produced a sheet of parchment about adding another paper to a subscription. "We'll have to get your parent's approval, but if you'll put your name on that," he handed it down to her, "we'll make sure you're all set up."

"I couldn't direct myself out of a paper bag with my wand and a handful of muggle compasses. If you're looking for directions, this is definitely not the right place, Raiden. Hehe." Plymouth GRINNED and came around his desk.

He SO loved when visitors came to see him.

Plymouth shrugged again. He was alive and stuff. Things had been better, that was for sure, but Plymouth was sure Raiden didn't want to hear about it. "Are you starting here....?" Hence the wide eyed scared look?

Plym definitely made him less stressed about this entire thing. Just his presence and his bright grin. Raiden stuck his hands in his pockets and bit the corner of his lip as Plymouth hopped up onto the desk. Clearly he had been here a while and was completely at home.

"That makes this so much less terrifying," he murmured, leaning against the edge of the desk and letting out a sigh. "I... yeah. Today's my first day. I'm supposed to meet... Merlin, I forgot her name. The Managing Editor or something?"

He looked at Plym imploringly. Surely he knew who it was.

"I make this less terrifying? This place? Hehe. They're all pretty good people, Raiden. No worries! You just have to keep your nose clean around the big Boss Ian. But even he is pretty nice."

Sort of.

Kinda. In a lot of ways....


"Ms. Walker? Probably Ms. Walker. She's," Plymouth lowered his voice and leaned waaaaaay over the desk to whisper!fail properly, "completely and totally hot." Yep. "Hehe."

"I meant the entire situation..." he leaned a bit closer to Plymouth and murmured quietly, "It's kinda my first time doing job stuff, you know? It's... 'm nervous."

Though what he was saying did put Raiden more at ease. If Plym liked the people working here, then they couldn't be, by any stretch of the imagination, bad or scary.

... blink.

Raiden bit back a snort of laughter, a hand raising to hide the immediate grin of amusement at Plymouth's rather candid declaration.

"Really? Do you like her, then?" He glanced at the watch on his wrist, making sure he wasn't late for meeting her. "What does she look like?"

Because 'hot' was a very, very broad term.

"Actually, there are a few hot ladies here. They're all too old for me, I guess, so you... know."


Raiden being even younger than Plymouth.


"Not that I think of them that way or anything." That much was true. Plymouth didn't bother thinking about anyone that way to be honest. Unless he was pining after Daphne, but even that had dwindled out almost entirely.



"Oh sure! She's good people. Not mean to me or anything." Funny how people actually DID tend to be mean to Plymouth. Water off a duck's back though. "Hot. Trust me. Hot."

Hot was hot no matter which way you looked at it. "Hehe." Plymouth made SIZZLE noises for effect.

Raiden resisted the urge to tell Plym that it didn't matter if they were all too old for either of them, at least in Raiden's case. He... had far too much trouble when it came to women right now. Didn't need any more, hot coworkers or not.

Hot enough for sizzling noises though? He was immediately reminded of Aleksandra. Who was definitely that hot. And equally as off-limits.

"A lot of hot women..." He chuckled. "Maybe this was a good decision, working here?"

Selina smiled at the man who was now exuding an air of light heartedness. She flashed her typical Gryffindor grin that she had discovered just hours earlier.
In her best burst of confidence she replied, "I really am sorry about your coat hanger and messing up your work flow. And I promise to apologize on the way out to the coat hanger itself.
"So, when I get these signed by my parents I bring it back here to have my subscription sent to school? How much will that cost?"

"I like it most days," Plymouth nod nodded his agreement. "Always people coming and going and stuff. My fear of owls is still deep as ever, but they don't tease me too bad. Hehe."

Plymouth loosened his tie and motioned to the bit of wall behind his desk. He'd drawn a lot. Clearly had a fair amount of free time. "It'll be good to have another guy around."

"Ah ha!" From a small bag, Plymouth Morgan produced some little bite sized chocolates. He put two into his palm and handed them over to the girl. "Mum put surprises in the middle of these, so don't bite down too hard. Then yeah, just bring the signed bit back to me - and we'll just bill your parents. You're much too young to be paying!"

Selina reached out to the man's hand and grabbed the chocolate sweet. "Thanks." she replied. "And I promise your secret is safe with me, as long as you don't tell anyone about my coat hanger incident we are even. So I am going to run and floo home. Once I get these signed I'll be back. Thanks for your help!"
With that Selina waved to the man and left the front room, but only before apologizing to a certain coat hanger on her way out.

He'd forgotten that Plym was afraid of owls. How had he forgotten that? Raiden turned his eyes to him, head tilting as he frowned slightly.

"Do the owls come to you, for the other workers in the building?" Poor Plym, if so.

His gaze followed where he was indicating, and a small smile crossed his face. It seemed he got through any work he had to do fairly quickly, or he just spent a lot of time going about doodling things.

"There's not that many here? Really? I thought there would be a fair amount of them."

Ever surrounded by women, apparently. SIGH.

The eleven year old Gryffindor was probably the extent of Plymouth's conversation with females for the day, at least until he made it home where his sister and mother were.

Selina ran through the door like a gust of wind staying mindful of the coat rack that was stationed by the entrance. As fast as she could she flew up to the desk that was taller than her and placed the soot tarnished paperwork on the desk.
He looked carefully at the paperwork wondering why it was covered in soot. In response she brushed a glob of ash out of her face, "Floo network, needed to get these signed for you. I have both my parents signatures and also took down their wand measurements if you need them. Is there anything else I need?"

It wasn't so bad? Hadn't Plym been the one to solicit others - Raiden included - to send owls for him while at Hogwarts? He bit his lip, trying to hide the smile. Either Plym was better with birds, or he was covering up the fact that he was still scared sideways of them.

Plymouth Morgan. Ladies man?

It was more believable than Raiden being one, that much was for sure.

"...hehe. Here it is." He tapped the sooty parchment, viola! Clean as a whistle. "You sure did that fast. You going to try out for Quidditch with all that speed?" Plymouth checked her signatures - and... ah.. wand measurement... , then filed away her request. It was really that simple.

Rut. Plymouth was in a bit of a rut. He enjoyed the Prophet, but being the secretary was not his idea of a career. He just... would figure it out later.

"Sorry if I caught you off guard, I promise that I won't do that any more... I guess I tend to make an entrance. And yeah, I want to be Chaser, but I'm a first year so the likely hood of that." Selina trailed off and shook her head of the negative thoughts. She had to stay positive on the Quidditch front of she was going to fail for sure.
"Anyway, is that it? 'Cause if you need anything else I could go get it."

He let her chatter away, nodding where appropriate and all. Plymouth Morgan had become a much better listener with age. "You're a sure thing. If not this year, then definitely next. Quick little thing, you are. Hehe." Plymouth gave TWO thumbs up and a little crowd cheer. "But nah, that's it for your papers. They'll come. And if they DON'T - then you just owl ... errr... Raiden."

Plymouth pointed to the newest Daily Prophet employee.

"..and he'll make sure I get the owl." Having Raiden at the Prophet WAS going to work out JUST fine.

How the heck was he supposed to find Hunter in this place? It was HUGE. Ryuu stared around and wondered where to go. In his wondering, he couldn't help but pause every now and again to admire the place. It would be pretty sweet to work here.

Ryuu finally approached the front desk and waited until he had the attention of the gentlemen behind it. "Hey there. Do you know where I might be able to find Hunter Bones? Or...if you'd be able to get her down here?" He really didn't feel like getting lost in a place like this.

Security and all. Plymouth had heard about the BAD things in Diagon Alley. Scary things. He was SO fond of Hunter, so precautions had to be taken.

"Liiiiiike, well your name would be a good place to start. Then whether or not Miss Bones is expecting you.....?" .....because she hadn't told HIM that she was expecting a visitor. And this certainly wasn't Hunter's brother or that other fellow that lived with her.

Ryuu raised an eyebrow at the notion of being asked questions. Okaaay, precautions. He got it. "My name is Ryuu Andrei and no, she is not expecting me. I only need a few moments of her time."
