Fee and Hugo awkwardly hugged, but oh well, it was probably the closest he would ever come to her.
"Just before you, I guess. You look pretty," he said as his face turned the slightest shade of red.

Alex laughed and hugged Fee back before pulling back to answer her. "Naah, it was a compliment girl." he chuckled. He glanced over at Taylor and the guy he just introduced as her boyfriend. Huh.

He could be civil, he really could. On second thought, no he couldn't. If Fee wasn't there he would sneak away without them noticing but he didn't want to leave his best friend. He enjoyed their time together way too much. ""How are you glitter-girl?" he asked focusing on Fee rather than anything else.

Don't. Talk. To. Me. Still he was Taylor's friend and she had told him she wanted him to meet her new boy, ugh but he was also her ex and they'd been dating for almost a whole year so he didn't really feel like meeting the love of her life.

"Im doing well, thank you Fee. I must say you've done a great job with the decorations in here. Im not used to these kinds of things but i guess since im going into Hogwarts this will soon become the norm" he sort of half giggled.

Fee seemed like a really nice girl and he hoped that she thought well of him. She was definitely curious how Taylor ended up with him as Draven didnt seem to be the normal type of guy Taylor would be with. Draven knew it wouldnt be that easy to mingle in the type of crowd that Taylor was involved with. Not too mention, maybe they all were good friends with her last boyfriend so how would they take to him all of a sudden popping into their lives. Draven leaned and gave Tay a kiss on the cheek and went to get them something to drink.

Tay smiled at them all- she felt bad when she noticed Alex. But then she got past that... why should she feel bad? He was an awesome guy- she knew that. But he was the one who had dumped her- she hadn't wanted that, so, oh well. Maybe he cared more than he thought he had? She guessed she'd never know.

"Hey Alex." she said to him quietly- she couldn't just ignore him- that would be rude- but maybe he...? Eughh. Guys were so... annoying! Why?!

She smiled thankfully at Fee- "Yeah... It looks good in here Fee!" she said to Fee- "We're all gonna have such a blast next year, right?" she asked Fee and Alex- she hoped it wouldn't be awkward, she wanted them to be friends-just like before!

"Oh thats good",she smiled.For some odd reason she didnt want him to be here too long without her being here. You never knew.As she heard him complementing her she blushed a little. Trying to hide it with a smile she put a strand of her behind her ear."You dont look too bad yourself",she said. Waaiit! She didnt want to say that out loud... Oh...



"You should really practise making compliments",she teased him. Of course Alex knew what of a ladies man he was.seeing the look Alex gave Taylor's new boyfriend she rubbed his arm a little. He shouldnt pay to much attention to it.

But seemed like Alex did pay attention and he was actually getting rather mad.Fee smiled up to him singalizing she would be here and if he wanted to leave it would be okay. "I am okay i think",she told him,"what about you? Everything good?"Hopefully it was.

"Oh thank you",Fee smiled sweetly[B],"actually two of my best friends,Freya and Cass,did it with me."She started to really wonder where the other Slytherin Queen was.Maybe a dress emergency?!"I am sure you will love Hogwarts,Draven",Fee reasured him.Everyone that had ever been there loved it.

With having Taylor as girlfriend,Draven would definitely have no problems at Hogwarts.She would show him around and stuff.Besides that the first year was always the worst because you were afraid of how everything would turn out but in the end it would be amazing.Fee was sure.


"I am sure we will have a blast",Fee nodded,"remember the first year."
And now they werent firsties anymore, there were younger students.How cool was that?!

Alex turned his head to look at Taylor. He smiled warmly at her. Yeah, she was still his friend for sure. "Hey Taytay." he said using his nickname for her. He just loved nicknames, a friend of his without a nickname was just no good.

"Of course we will." he answered looking between Taylor and Fee. He was sure he would have fun. He'd make it so.

Alex grinned at Fee shaking his head slightly. "Girl, I knoow how to make compliments." he protested.

"Good." he said genuinly, she did look happier now than before. And he liked the way her eyes sparkled when she saw Hugo. He liked people who made her happy. Huge plus. "Yes everything is good." he nodded with a wink. He wasn't that mad, just really... um, annoyed. Uh-huh.

Hugo smiled to himself. They could be so awkward together.
"Thanks," he said as he saw Fee blush a little too.
Now they could be a pair of tomatoes. Or apples.

But this was a party. Hugo must keep his eyes off Fee for a little bit, and socialize.



"Hello," Hugo said as he turned to the group of peoplez he didn't know.
"I'm Hugo, second year Ravenclaw."
He felt so proud to call himself a second year, and a Ravenclaw, so he felt like he needed to add it.

Draven walked back to Tay and her friends when another boy joined in by introducing himself. Evidently his name was Hugo and he was a Ravenclaw. Draven handed Tay her drink and introduced himself.

"Hey Hugo, im Draven. This is my first year at Hogwarts myself".

Draven then looked back at Tay, Fee, and Alex. Draven was uncomfortable because he knew who Alex was in relation to Tay. He decided to try and break the ice a bit. He held his hand out to Alex...

"Hi there, im Draven".

"Are you sure?",Fee asked sticking her tongue out at him. Hah,weak spot found,Oh you are sooo good girl. Hihi.

"Good",she nodded,"you know i am here for you and if you want to leave its okay, i want be mad or anything else."
Even though Alex had no feeling for Tay it mjust be annoying to see your ex with someone else when you broke up not so long ago.
Fee just started laughing as she noticed how weird they were sometimes.She didnt know why but they acted like total retards from time to time.Noticing how he said he was a second yeahr made Fee giggle.
"Its unbelievable our first year is really over",she said,"and the second isnt far away."

TayTay? She liked that- haha. She smiled warmly at Alex. "How are ya doin? Good?" she asked him- she hoped he was good. She never wanted things to be awkward between them.

She smiled at Fee. "It's going to be awesome!" She then noticed Fee blush at this guy who had joined them- Hugo? She smiled warmly at him. "I'm Taylor" she introduced herself, before looking back at Fee, raising her eyebrows and grinning- Fee so had a thing for Hugo- hehe. Girl senses!

Taylor watched as Draven introduced himself to Alex- she held her breath slightly, hoping this... wouldn't be too awkward. It couldn't be? Could it?! Please say Alex would be civil? Please?... She smiled slightly- if only to ease the awkwardness.

Alex smiled politely at Hugo and extended his hand for him to shake. "Nice to meet you Hugo. I'm Alex Reed. Will start my third year, unfortunately I can't announce my house." he chuckled. But he really wanted to say 'third year, Slytherin.' Oh well.

Alex turned to Draven and decided to take his hand and shake it firmly. "Hey Draven, I'm Alex." he said simply, although why did they really introduce themselves? They both knew who they were.

He didn't have any feelings for Taylor that meant he wanted her as more than a friend but Draven better treat her right. Otherwise Draven would have to answer to Alex, and that wouldn't be fun for him. Hehe.

"A first year, huh?" he asked. Younger than Taylor was... Oh well, in matter of the heart nothing mattered. Um, right?

Alex waved a hand dismissively at Fee, like she was being silly. Which she waaaaas. "Yes, I'm suure." he chuckled and rolled his eyes slightly at her sticking out her tongue. Silly bestie.

"I don't want to leave." he said determined. He didn't, why would he? Because of Taylor and Draven? He had been the one breaking up with her why should he leave because she was with another guy? O.o Besides, he had his friends there, including his cousin. No, he was exactly where he wanted to be and where he belonged.

"I'm doing great thank you for asking girlie." Alex grinned. "And you? All good?" He hoped it was, but she seemed happy so that was good.

He glanced over at Taylor for a second, he could play the mean ex boyfriend role, bring up their memories, what they had been through (a lot!!) and so on but he just gave her a quick comforting smile for only her to see. He wouldn't ruin everything with Taylor. They were friends and he cared for her.

Draven sighed a sense of relief when Alex shook his hand and introduced himself. It broke some of the tension he was sure both were feeling. Alex was a older boy and sharp looking so he could easily understand Tay's attraction to him. It was obvious that both he and Alex came from different walks of life but he was sure there was a bit of mutual respect between them. Aside from Kristen Draven knew that Alex would play a big role in Tay's life and the more support she got the better. He would just hope that it would remain friends despite the special moments they once shared.

"Yea, first time coming to Hogwarts. Tay tells me its a great school and loads of fun. How are you enjoying it?"

Nodding a little nervously, Kurumi smiled at Taylor. "You're in Slytherin, right?" Kurumi was trying to put her finger on just exactly where they had met before at Hogwarts. No doubt it was due to Fee. That girl was the social butterfly of the century afterall.


"I've been baking with my mother ever since I could stand,"she laughed. Baking with her mother were some of the few happy memories she had as a child. Not to mention that the time she spent baking with her mother were some of the brief moments where her mother was not caking on the pressure. It also reminded her about how to keep herself grounded. That one doesn't need magic to solve all ones problems.


Seeing everyone was deep in conversation, Kurumi set her box of cookies down on one of the glitterfied tables. She looked down at herself and once again found herself wishing her mother had not insisted she dress in such a fancy kimono. Despite being in a room with friends, there were still many people she was unfamiliar with and really really didn't want to stand out like a red jelly bean in the midst of yellow ones.

"It is",she nodded,"Hogwarts is awesome."Besides the studying and the homework,Hogwarts was the best place to be. Noticing the look that Taylor gave her she looked away shaking her head.What was on Tay's mind again?!


"Oh well then",she giggled,"it must be because you are my best friend."He probably hadnt the huuuge effect on her ,he had on toher girls.Fee was used to having him around and she was used to all his tricks.Best friend thing."Dont roll your eyes at me",she chuckled.Sometimes they really acted weird but Fee didnt really care because weird and freaky was the new cool.

"Good",Fee's smile grew only wider,"i want my best friend to be with me anyways."If it wa possivle she would have him aroudn 24/7. But Fee also wanted to let him feel comfy. So whenever he felt not good he could go. She would probably go with him because right now he was th most i poartant thing in her life.

As Fee noticed Kurumi sitting on one of the glitterfied tables she smiled approachign her friend.They hadnt met for so long,"Heey Kurumi",she said,"enjoyed your summer?"Probably. Kurumi had told Fee she wanted to visit Adam during the holidays and now Fee was all excited if she had really and how it had turned out.Fortunately the two were happy together., At least one of the couples remained.

"Good. For me- everything is finally... good." she admitted- almost in relief. "Well apart from my psycho family- but that's a whole other story!" she said, laughing slightly nervously and smiling at Alex.

Tay noticed Fee had looked away- oh she hadn't got her look- Tay wasn't good with being overly obvious about stuff!

" Hi Fee" Rex called out. " How is "Gliiter Girl" doing?" Rex asked Fee.

" Hey there Hugo" Rex called out. Hugo seemed a nice boy. Hopefully Hugo and Fee could become a couple. " Enjoying your break?" Rex asked Hugo.

"I did very much," Kurumi smiled at Fee's appearance. She really should have written more, but it was hard sneaking owls out with her mother's ever watchful eyes constantly on high alert - especially when her brothers came home during the middle of the summer. "Adam came to visit for a bit and my brothers really enjoyed getting to know him." Torture was probably a better word. They did go a little overboard playing around and teasing him. It wasn't very often, if ever, that Kurumi brought friends home so they had a lot of energy to let loose. "How was your summer?"

Kurumi had heard about Edmond leaving Hogwarts. It was the last owl she had ever received from him. Asking about Fee's summer probably wasn't the best course to have taken.

Freya walked into the Room of Celebration at Florean Fortescues Ice Cream Parlour and she saw late. She was never late before but this time she was sure that Fee and Cass would had her head. She smooth her dress before she opened the door. She pushed the door and she saw soooooo many people already there. 'Okay now I'm sure that Cass would had my head' she thought. She looked around to find either Cass or Fee.

"Nice to meet you all," Hugo smiled charmingly and shook Alex's hand.
He tried to figure out the setting...
There was definetly something between Draven and Taylor.
And Alex... and Fee? He hoped not.
"How has your summer break been?" he asked to the group.
He remembered the countless times that he had strolled through Diagon Alley
just because he was bored.

Hugo turned to the girl with the cookies and took one.
It was delish. "Hi, Kurumi," he said to her.
They had met, once, twice? And she had always brought cookies.
It was like baking was her soulmate.
"How has your summer break been?"

"Hi, Rex," Hugo smiled as his older friend approached.
He took another bite of his cookie.
"Yes, but I'm starting to miss Hogwarts," he said.
"It's your last term this year, right?"
Hugo was sure a lot of people were going to miss Rex.

Kurumi turned her attention to the boy and smiled as he took a cookie. Wasn't this one of the many boys Katie had been chasing last term? Hugo, wasn't it? "Hey Hugo," she said shyly praying to Merlin that she had his name and face right. "My holiday has been good...but it is weird going from somewhere where I am surrounded by magic to a home where I am not even allowed to say the word." Her tone sounded somewhat like that of a balloon that was having the air taken out of it. Her mother was a bit strange when it came to magic - hence Kurumi's intention to spend even more time in the library this term. "How about you?"

" You having fun?" Rex asked Hugo. " I will miss Hogwarts a whole lot after I graduate" Rex told Hugo. " Well, have you beeen" glittered by Fee?" Rex asked Hugo. " I think you would be good for Fee" Rex said to Hugo.

"Hey Taylor! Nice outfit! Love the hair and heels." Elle said, smiling. "I feel like such a midget even with heels on!" She laughed at herself.

She looked around and asked politely, "Where are the party girls?"

Cass smiled a little a Taylor. She didn't want to seem like the heartbroken little girl that she was during first year. She had grew up. "So, how've you been?" She asked

Cass turned away from Taylor when she saw an unfamiliar guy enter the room. Then she realized that it was probably Taylor's new boyfriend.

"Hey there. You must be Draven." Cass said with a welcoming smile

Cass saw Rex enter with a red suit and a yellow tie. Gah! "Uh. Hey Rex. What are you wearing?"

Cass saw Fee enter the room. She went off to hug her bestie. "Fee, darling you're late!" She scolded lightly. Then she drew away, straightened out her dress and said "Hey, Hugo was looking for you earlier."

Cass noticed Alex change his direction and decided to walk over to him "And you're avoiding me...why?" She asked jokingly when she had reached him

"Wow, that sounds really lovely" Cass said with a smile "I wish I knew how to bake...or cook anything by myself for that matter..."

Cass turned when she saw another familiar blonde enter the room. "Freya, you're late." Cass said with a mock glare directed at her bestie. "You'd better have a good explanation."

Cass turned when she heard Elle's voice. "Elle! Darling, so glad you could make it!" She said with a light giggle as she hugged the girl tightly

"Yeah, it's great here. I met some new people," he said.
"And you?" he asked Rex.
"I'm sure Hogwarts will miss you too," he said to Rex.
Yea, that sounded pretty cool. Good philosophy, Hugo! *brain high-five*

Then Hugo started blushing and smiled.
"Yeah..." he admitted but made sure not to speak so loud.
"Thanks," he said. He really liked that Rex said that.

Hugo felt like it was a bit of a touchy subject for her, so he dropped it.
"Mine has been good. But boring, I'm counting down the days 'till Hogwarts." he said.
"I made an advent calendar, well, for Hogwarts then, with mini chocolate frogs," Hugo laughed.
"Maybe that'd be a good idea for you, since you like baking so much. A calendar with little cookies or something,"
Hugo found that a pretty good idea. Wow, he was on a spree there.

Hugo turned to the girl who was there first, but had not spoke to yet.
He felt like he needed to meet everyone at the party, so he was going to introduce himself to the other people too.
"Hi, Cass," he said to her.
"How's your holiday?"

There were some girls he did not know yet, so he introduced himself.
"Hi, I'm Hugo," he said to them and smiled.

"Yes, hi how are you doing!"

Draven realized that a lot of Tay's friends were very friendly and welcoming which put him at ease. He continued to look at Tay as she flirtatiously played with her hair and chatted with friends. He turned back to Cass and asked..

"So did you set all this up?"
