There's no need to hold her tighter, Colin. Thanks! She could perfectly stand up on her own without looking like a headless chicken. Why was he laughing? This wasn't funny! Wasn't he aware that they could die.

"Oh god. Who's going to feed Tag once he's out of school in a few weeks?" Yes. That was her first thought. She'd die and no one would be able to feed Tag. She grabbed her forehead and pinched her nose from all the panic erupting in her.

"Intern work. Ok. Ok. Ok. How young are these interns?" Age mattered. They weren't teenagers anymore, Colin. Her and his stamina must be slower than these interns. "Clankers?" She'd never heard of that before. Maybe Colin should talk about his job some day. "Give me that." said Saxon with some fake bravado. She snatched this clanker from his hand and held it tightly in hers. "Let's feed the Bunny dragon." That sounded ironic.

Hmm. Now they were coming closer. One of them was awfully loud and smelled rather new, while the other gave off a familiar scent. Bunny issued another furl of smoke from her nostrils, slitting open one purple eye to observe them with. She raised her head ever so slightly, angling it to get a better view of them.

It also smelled like they'd brought food. Might as well let them feed her more before she ate them, right? The meat was her appetizer.

A low growl emitted from her mouth as she opened her other eye. Yummy food. Come to Bunny.

"Yeah. Fine." Colin said not moving away. He didn't believe her. He knew better. Or liked to think so anyway. Besides, why ruin a chance to be a big tough boyfriend?

"He is capable of feeding himself. He didn't starve while we were in Italy." Of course, he was pretty sure Mini!Blonde lived on pizza. Not that there was anything wrong with that. Tag was a guy. Pizza was a main staple in a guy's diet. It was genetic truth.

"They're 12? 16? Something." Old enough not to get eaten. He wasn't in charge of hiring them, so he didn't know.

"Clankers. Yeah. Just smack 'em together and the dragon will back up. It's pretty simple." And without waiting for her to try it out, he started leading the way to the feeding trough.

Smoke. "Someone is a hungry girl." he commented. Oh. And a growl. "Someone is also a cranky girl today. Don't worry. You'll have new interns to chase soon." Which, also made Colin a little cranky. But, he'd get to see their faces when they met Bunny, so, it was almost worth having little squirts around all summer.

Plus, maybe the kids would field some of the questions that were rolling out this summer at the bank. That would be nice. He had a lot of things to do as is, he didn't need to deal with lots of questions.

"Well... you had your brother checking in on him." Yep. That's why Tag hadn't starved. If Wesley hadn't checked in on Tag at least once she and Colin probably would've arrived home with the kitchen nearly burnt to a crisp.

Oh, so the interns were rather young. But not too much younger than she and Colin. That made her feel slightly better so she just nodded at Colin in understanding.

Saxon then stared at these clankers. She immediately wanted to use them but something told her they using them now, when they weren't in actual danger, might actually put them into danger.

"Hungry. Cranky. Bunny. Girl. Dragon. Five words that do not mix well together." At least in Saxon's panicking mind. You know how girls can get, Colin. Now, add that in with those other words. BIG DANGER!

NOW Saxon saw some smoke come out and she CLEARLY saw that purple eye staring at her. Oh, wonderful, Bunny was raising her head. Raising her head to probably see which part of Saxon would be the most meaty part for it to dig its teeth into.

"Bunny. We mean no harm. We come in peace. We do not harm you and you keep us in one piece." Saxon semi bowed down to the dragon as she followed Colin.

Arriving in the lair for the first time was double exciting for Kurumi. She had longed to visit her while she had been a student and had thought about interning at Gringotts just for the change to do so - only her schedule had never allowed her to even apply. Now, years later, here she was and not just in the presence of one dragon, but TWO.

Cross off one more thing off her bucket list.

Trying not to look too awe struck now, she turned around and knelt beside the cage where Bandit was stirring just a little. NOW she was getting nervous. While she was sure that Bunny would be somewhat territorial, she hoped that any rank or dominance problem between the two dragons would be avoided by the use of Chinese Fireball DNA they both shared. Then there was had been the choice of bringing in a male to avoid and female on female dragon hostility...but, as was with any creature, things were always unpredictable.

"Alright, welcome to your new home," she said to the baby dragon as he stirred a bit more. Now, where was Bunny?

Colin wanted to get closer. Could he? Was he allowed to? Could he pet the baby dragon? He wouldn't even care if he lost a hand. Because how often did you get to see a baby dragon?!

If he were the type of man that squealed, there would be some high pitched sounds emitting out of him right about now.

But he was man. A man that did not squeal. On the outside.

He watched in silence for a few seconds before speaking up. "Now what?"

There was a baby dragon there. Jake wanted to go see it, but he was pretty sure that wasn't allowed. He glanced at Collin, then Kurumi, then the dragon's cage again.

"Are we waiting for something?" He asked, trying to sound mildly curious and not impatient. It was obviously a stupid question because they were clearly waiting for something. But what, Jake had no idea. He looked around, then, trying to find Bunny. Maybe that's what they were waiting for. Did the dragons need to meet before baby!dragon could be let out of his cage?

Kurumi did not yet open up Bandit's cage, because it would be much safer for him to be in there should things go wrong with Bunny - proper enchantments and all. Instead she pulled out a few scraps of raw meat from her satchel and tossed them through a small opening in the back. He tended to need a snack right after waking up or else he was an especially grumpy dragon.

"I want to make sure that Bunny will take to Bandit before we make things official," she nodded with quick glances towards both of them. They shouldn't worry though, because even if Bandit wasn't a match there were other hybrids she could come back with later. "I'm going to move the crate closer to the opening, the new smell of Bandit should intrigue Bunny to come see what is going on and, if all works out, we will see positive results." She was really banking on their shared Chinese Fireball traits of 'tolerance' and the fact that Bandit had not yet fully reached adolescence to make this work and not make Bandit be perceived as a threat.

"Unless you," and sorry Jake, but she was looking at Colin. "Think you ought to be the one to move it since Bunny is more familiar with you." She might be the dragonologist in the lair, but he knew the dragon's behavioral tendencies more than she did.

And wait...where was Alice's relative? She had something to give to her. Alice's orders.

Colin nodded as he listened. "It should be fine if you move the little guy. Bunny is pretty temperamental with when she decides to like me." He then paused for a second. "Actually, she hates everyone unless she's eaten." Which the kid here was actually the one taking care of recently. Huzzah for entry level workers.

"If you think it's a good idea to offer food, I can make the kid get some." The Jake kid. Not the dragon kid. Because they were both younger than him.

... So... right. Well.

Jake slipped his hands into his pockets and just... stood. It seemed that he wasn't needed. Or at least he wasn't needed unless Bunny required food. Which was normal, but at the moment Jake was kind of embarrassed by the fact.

So he stood. And watched the baby dragon's crate for something to do. And he hopefully looked interested and calm and everything else that a good employee should be.

A temperamental dragon? Who would have thought? Laughing on the inside at her own sense of dragonolgy humor, she shook her head. "I don't think more food will be necessary. Jake said that she was just fed so anymore will just over sensitize her." Her best guess anyway.

Dragonhide gloves on and with one last tug on the sleeves of her jacket, she gave the two Gringotts employees a quick thumbs up. "Keep your fingers crossed that all goes well," she squeaked as she began pushing the cage towards the opening to the lair and, once she was close enough, gave her head a quick tap to place some last minute protective charms on herself and did a few squats to make sure her joints were limber in case, well...just in case.

"It's alright, Bandit," she whispered as the baby dragon began to stir and thrash about more in its cage. "You're new mama will be here soon."

Now to wait for Bunny.

Hmm. What was that scent?

In the depths of her lair, one purple eye slit open, glowing in the darkness and seeking out the intriguing aroma. It smelled like.... where was...? She could tell there were humans, the ones with the clankers who fed her meat regularly, but.... there was something else.

Bunny wanted to see that something.

Furls of smoke issuing from her nostrils, the mama dragon slit open another eye and lifted her head up, moving to search her den. Where? Where was it coming from?

As soon as her eyes rested on the cage, she began padding towards it. And then gave it a few experimental sniffs.

Baaaaaaby.

Since he was just standing, Jake heard when Bunny started toward their little group. For the first little while after he got the job here, he was - though he'd never admit it - really scared of being near the dragon. Now it wasn't so bad. It was mostly just really cool, and one of the reasons why he liked his job so much.

He took a few steps out of the way and watched as Bunny came into view... and saw the baby dragon's crate. Jake glanced at Kurumi, watching her face for any signs of bad things that might happen. So far so good?

Colin headed back to the cart and grabbed clankers. Just in case. He then carefully watched as Bunny emerged. She looked... like this might actually go well. His eyes then shifted to Bandit and Kurumi. Shouldddd something be happening now? Yes? No?

Should they just continue to stand here awkwardly?
