So there she was. Stella was going to enter the Daily Prophet for the first time as a hired woman. Man, was she proud. Inside she was bubbly, she wanted to run around and give all the employees at the Daily Prophet a kiss on the cheek but she was worried that wouldn't be appreciated. Which was why she kept her poker face intact and just entered. Although when she was inside she was amazed and just looked around her with a wide smile, she continued walking like that when suddenly she walked straight into a wall. Except it wasn't a wall. It was a person. Who was clearly in her way.

She let out a little squeal when she bumped into him and she dropped her bag so her things were thrown out on the floor. At least she managed to stay on her feet. With a shocked expression she looked aroun them to see if anyone else had spotted the big human wall that had almost pushed her over. Because it was allll his fault. Uh-huh. Quickly she crouched down so she could start picking up her things and put them back in her bag.

"What was that good for?" she snapped. Now, where was her keys...?

Cedric scratched his head and looked from left to write in the big, fancy room. Surely there would be someone lurking around who knew the ropes and maybe offer a hand. He turned to look behind him quickly, but was baffled when a person must of completely ignored his existence and bashed into him. SHEESH, he was short, but that didn't make him invisible!!!! Cedric would've shouted, or cursed very audibly, but it was a lady who seemed pretty angry herself! So he refrained from anything rude.

"Sorry, ma'am. Lemme help you with those." Cedric spoke with his thick American accent. He caught something sparkly in the corner of his eye, so he bent over to grab it. "Your keys?" He held them up to her and grinned. Being a GENT as always, but somehow, he wasn't sure if the woman would appreciate it. She looked vexed.

Stella glanced at the man while she gathered the rest of her things. At least he was polite after knocking her down. She took the keys from him and stood up. "Thanks." she murmured while she straightened out her skirt. She noticed he wasn't a tree, he was actually sort of short. Not shorter than her obviously but he wasn't a tree. She liked that.

"So, apart from knocking people down, what do you do?" she asked him curiously. "Do you work here?" Hopefully he wasn't the boss's brother or something and would get her kicked out for running into him.

Cedric smiled and adjusted his trousers once again. That's what he got for wearing clothes slightly too big without a belt. "You're welcome! Can't just leave a pretty lady helpless, can I?" He grinned idiotically.

Knocking people down? A more accurate perception would be; dawdling in people's way. "Well... apart from that, I work for the Daily Prophet. Lifestyle section." He said quite proudly. Being placed in that area was something that he liked, too. Lifestyle writing was definitely his most strongest talent, as opposed to sport writing. D: "I take it you do, too, ma'am?" Why was he still calling her that? They hadn't even got to a first name basis yet! *facepalm*

"I'm Cedric, by the way." What to do now? Awkwardly, he stuck out his hand for the girl to shake. But he felt too formal straight away for doing that.

Stella raised one eyebrow at the man who she still didn't know the name of. "Oh. So you wouldn't help a girl who you wouldn't find 'pretty'..." she mumbled to herself, it wasn't a question or an accusation simply a statement to herself.

Oh so he did work for the Daily Prophet? She softened her expression slightly and smiled at him. How could she not smile when she talked about her place in the Daily Prophet? Aside from the little incident when he called her ma'm (which would sound better if it was said to someone twice her age) she nodded her head. "Yes I do! News Section." she smiled.

Even though his behaviour was a bit... odd. Stella liked it. But he wouldn't know that. She decided to take his hand and shake it carefully. "Nice to meet you Lifestyle-writing-Cedric, my name is Stella."

Kate frowned as she read the latest news flash? A ship appearing in the black lake? She wondered what it was and then she decided that she would investigate it... She'd go to Hogwarts.

Not even a blush? A giggle? Ehhhhhh.... Cedric's complimenting skills obviously hadn't worked as well as he had hoped. Now, how could he get himself out of this one? "Of course not. All ladies are pretty, in my opinion." And he did actually believe that. Personality is what attracted Cedric to a person, but right now, he wasn't sure if this woman was nice enough to talk to. :S

Ooooooooh. "News section, huh?" That would certainly be very fun, although he felt as if he should be more careful with his words now, in case they got twisted and ended up on the front page of the Daily Prophet. "How long you been working here then?" It would be good if she could show him round or something. Show her the ropes of the place.

"Lovely to meet you, too, Stella." He could tell that she felt a bit awkward about the whole introduction. So did he, actually.

Coeus was not sure what Hunter's favorite flowers were... he didn't have a lot of money either, so he had gone for daisies. He was dressed casually in jeans and a sweatshirt with his favorite, red Chuck Taylor's.

He entered the Daily Prophet and stopped for a moment to look around... wow. Time to find a receptionist or something...
