| | Corridor to the Depths Behind one of the doors off the main hall is a corridor leading down to the vaults. They are made of rough hewn stone and are dimly lit, torches sit in iron brackets along the length of the corridor. The passage way slopes downwards and the stone floor has been worn smooth by centuries of use.
The corridor is long, it takes about ten minutes to reach the tracks at the bottom. When you reach the bottom, in the company of a Goblin, you will be helped into a cart and your journey down to your vault will begin, twisting and turning and dropping miles below the ground. ooc: your post will be deleted if you post here without being escorted by a Goblin. You must post in the Gringotts Main Hall and wait for a Gringotts Goblin to lead your character here.
Once you post here, you will be linked to your character's vault thread, which is specifically for you. When not in use, the vault thread will be moved back into our storage You can message one of the Gringotts employees (LilFox06) if you have any questions.

It had given her quite the startle initially, and Bennett's steadying hand was truly necessary. But it was also rather funny, especially because their Goblin guide spoke words that did not exactly match his expression.
And laughing was a coping mechanism. ".......... Here?" she asked, turning to Bennett again, giving him a look of uncertainty. Did he mind getting out first?

Hogwarts RPG Name: Stuart Kynaston Ravenclaw Sixth Year Hogwarts RPG Name: Rome Keller Drechsler Gryffindor First Year | Sardine VIP || Shark Attack! || D A R T E R || Captain Oblivious Bennett chuckled a little nervously. "Yeah. Time of my life..." he said looking around.
He looked over the edge and ... stared at the... track...
Brilliant. "Uhm. Okay..." he said carefully getting out and standing, balanced, on the track. He was doing his best not to recognize all the NOTHINGNESS below him. ... at least now he was fairly confident in a first-hand-never-wanted-to-know-this kind of way that the vaults down here weren't going to get broken in to. "Need a hand?" he asked gripping the cart with one hand and offering his other to her.

Was she terrified? Absolutely. But she didn't see the point on dwelling on the fact, instead making light of the situation. Bennett's reply helped with that and again, Yassi found herself laughing.
She watched with big eyes filled with concern as he stepped out of the cart, before glancing down at his hand. "I would love one," she smiled without embarrassment before carefully standing up and taking his hand, using him to keep her balance as she stepped out of the cart.
As she made her way out, she looked over at Bennett and whispered, "I wonder how we'll be getting back...." Though it wasn't much of a whisper. Yassi was terrible with volume control.

Jane smiled slightly at the goblin's name--what in the world was a Gringotts goblin in London doing with a name like that? She mused on this as she followed the goblin down the long corridor toward the tracks. At least he seemed more pleasant than your average goblin, though, as he helped her into a cart.
Now came the wild ride down to the vaults--this time seemed to take longer than usual, though it had been a long time since Jane had been down here, and then she'd been distracted with trying to calm a nervous pre-adolescent. But at last it it seemed like they were slowing down.
Good. Jane was eager to dispose of some of her rarer possessions in a safe place before she began her new job at the Ministry.

Good. Jane was eager to dispose of some of her rarer possessions in a safe place before she began her new job at the Ministry. The Goblin ensured the cart made it's way carefully through the darkness. Luckily, there were no incidents. The streak seemed to be going in the bank's favor.
He stopped the cart in front of cave platform before hopping out and leading the way past a few doors before stopping. "This one is yours." he said motioning to a door. Now she just needed to use her key to get in.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Hope Archard Ravenclaw Fifth Year | "Thank you,"Jane murmured as she took out the small bronze key she had been given and turned it in the lock, and the vault door swung open. She glanced around the vault--yes, this should be satisfactory for her needs.
She stepped inside and deposited her Galleons on a nearby shelf, and carefully laid her certificate of potions mastery a few shelves above it. She rolled the ladder further into the vault and about midway, climbed it and laid the gold cauldron, the one she had received from her Potions Guild Master when she had attained Mastery, on an upper shelf.
Then she rolled the ladder all the way to the back of the vault, in the shadowy back corner, climbed it again, and carefully placed the small ash casket she had brought with her on the very top shelf. After climbing down the ladder again, she glanced back up, and once she had reassured herself that the casket was out of sight to a casual glance from the floor, she retraced her steps.
Upon exiting the vault, she locked it back up again and turned to the goblin, Tex. "Thank you, I'm ready to leave now." Really, one could not be too polite to goblins, she reflected.
