The first annual Taste of Wizarding London Cook-off is set up in the park near the alley. Each contestant has everything he or she could ask for at their workstation. Each station is set a few feet apart so that they have room to work as well as no room to cheat. A screen is placed behind them so everything they are doing is magically brought up on the screen for the audience to see and cheer them on.
The contestants will be competing in three categories, Liquid Luck (drinks), Exotic dishes (Anything you can think of, the more creative the better), and Magical desserts (the food has a magical trace, ex: chirp, levitate). The contestant with the most points at the end wins the grand prize, prize money and your exotic dish featured at the Cafe with the colored Umbrella's.
SPOILER!!: OOC
Contestants will post one long post per categories, a post from a judge will tell you when that category will start. Each contestant will get four days to post in the category before it is time to move on to the next. The following rubric will be what the judges use to score each post.
Rubric:
The rubric is marked ooc but will be converted into an IC score for RP purposes. Each judge will be marking off the same rubric, and the scores will be added together and averaged out to get the final result.
Category: Liquid Luck /5
This category is marked out of five based on how well your character's dish matches the category. Consider: is it liquid/a drink? Does your character have some reasoning as to why they chose to produce that particular drink?
Category: Exotic dishes /5
This category is marked out of five based on how well your character's dish matches the category. Consider: is it a demonstrably creative dish? Has your character really thought outside the box and put an original spin on their dish?
Category: Magical desserts /5
This category is marked out of five based on how well your character's dish matches the category. Consider: what magical effects does your character's dish have? Is it a dessert? How does the magical effect manifest?
Participation and Interaction: /5
For each post you automatically get 1 point. The other two points will be awarded based on how your character reacts/adapts/responds to the setting/scores/other characters/audience/their own nerves as the competition progresses, basically we don't want to see anyone RPing in a bubble!
Creativity: /10
For this category, your posts overall will be marked out of ten based on how descriptive you are about your character's dish. Since we can't actually TASTE the food, you need to make sure we can imagine it. Tell us about how it interacts with the senses! Your posts do not need to be long, but they should have creative substance if you want to score high in this area!
Realism: /10
To score high in this category, firstly your dish should make sense. If there are magical elements (and there should be!) tell us what spells your character is using (even if they are made up!). If its a frozen drink, then don't tell us you're baking it in the oven! Tell us a bit about your character's method, the measurements, their recipe, and if they're using cooking techniques, you'll score higher if you use actual real terms for them!
________________
In character, the judges are using a variation of the EAT method. Each dish will be IC marked out of 100 based on the ooc scores above, and the overall winner will be the averaged result of the three categories, with nods to the winners in each individual category as well.
Execution = /35 (Realism & Creativity inform this result)
Appearance= /15 (Category informs this result)
Taste = /50 (Realism & Creativity inform this result)
Please note that if you don't manage to post in the allotted time, we will need to come up with a reason something went wrong for your character and they were unable to complete a plated dish.

Exotic food? Well Cinna didn’t know about that. She was more used to more traditional meals when she cooked. But she could definitely think outside of the box on a pinch. Hopefully this would come out the way she pictured it. Weird and a different spin on some of her favorite dishes.
She gathered the ingredients, first thing she did was set a pot of water to boil. She was going to need that to cook the pasta. After she had set the pot on to boil she started mixing up the ingredients she would need to do make the dough for a pizza. She rolled the dough out and cut out small round circles and shaped them out to look like taco shells. She put those in to bake.
Now that the water was starting to boil she put the spaghetti pasta in the pot and let it cook. Next she got another pot to use to make her pizza sauce. She blend the tomatoes until they became liquidy, then added some seasonings salt, pepper, garlic, thyme, basil, parsley, rosemary, marjoram, bay leaf and an onion. After all of that was heating up in the pot she started on her meatballs next.
If you were watching her work, you would assume that she was just making spaghetti, but what about those taco shaped pizza crust. You would just have to wait for that. She had almost forgotten about those in the oven. She grabbed those out as well as took the pasta off and drained the water. She was almost done. Hopefully she would have plenty of time to completely finish this.
She put her meat for the meatballs into a bowl and mixed in breadcrumbs and eggs. When that was all mixed up well she added some seasonings to it salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, basil and parsley. Instead of rolling them into a ball she took cubes of mozzarella cheese and formed the meatballs around the cube of cheese. Then she put those into bake.
While she waited on the meatballs to cook she started plating her dish. She took the pizza crust tacos and filled them with the spaghetti. Next she served the sauce on top of the spaghetti noodles. Then sprinkled parmesan cheese on top.
When the meatballs were done she added them to the spaghetti because you can’t have spaghetti without meatballs on top. ”There you have it, Spaghetti pizza tacos with cheese-plosion meatballs.” If you didn’t get why they were cheese-plosion meatballs just wait until you cut into the meatballs. Easy cheesy.

The moment Ronan heard the word 'exotic', his mind snapped back to the vacation he just got back from in St. Barts. There wasn't much that was more exotic than the Caribbean. And with that in mind, he grabbed some conch meat (already in bite-sized pieces, thanks to its source) and a carton of eggs from the refrigerator and placed them on the counter. Then he grabbed three cake pans, a bag of flour, and a box of panko breadcrumbs from the shelves, placing them next to the eggs. That done, he lined up the cake pans beside the deep fryer, filled one section with canola oil, placed the fry basket in, then started it up.
While the oil heated up, he filled the first of the cake pans halfway with flour, the second with the insides of half the eggs (placing the shells to the sides for now) and the third with half the box of breadcrumbs. Then, he beat the eggs so that the whites and yolks were well mixed together and added salt, allspice, Scotch bonnet pepper flakes (just enough to add an interesting heat, but not make the dish inedible) and paprika to the breadcrumbs, shaking the mixture to make sure that the spices were well distributed. With those set up, Ronan sprinkled a little of the flour into the oil to see if it was ready. The oil sizzled, indicating that yes, it was ready so he started coating the conch in flour. Once the pieces were all floured, he dipped them quickly one-by-one into the eggs then the breadcrumb mixture before dropping them into the hot fryer.
Letting the conch fry away, Ronan set about making the rest of the dish. First, grabbed some arugula leaves, cucumbers, Roma tomatoes, and green onions, making sure to wash each vegetable. He dumped the arugula into a bowl, chopped the cucumbers and tomatoes into bite-sized pieces, finely chopped the onions and added them to the arugula. That done, he took out a separate, smaller bowl and added sesame oil, honey, lemon zest, Greek yogurt, and garlic powder and wisked them together for a nice dressing which he added to the salad. Placing a lid over the salad, he shook it until it was well 'tossed'.
The salad ready, he checked on the conch meat. Perfect golden brown! He removed the fry basket from the oil, pulled out a cookie sheet, covered it with wax paper and dumped the conch on it, letting the paper soak up the excess oil. Then he pulled out several small plates, put a bit of salad on each and topped each with a few pieces of conch.
"A Caribbean Conch Salad. Bon appetit!"

Isley watched as everyone created their beautiful and exotic dishes. They, for the most part looked delicious, though she was wondering why everyone added a magical effect to their dishes. OH WELL, that just made them more interesting! When it was time to announce the next round, Isley smiled and stood facing the contestants, "Great job everyone! You have now made it on to round three, the final dish!" She paused for applause.
When the last clap was clapped, she called out. "The final round is Magical Desserts! Our contestants will create a decadent dessert that has a magical effect. For example...," With a flick of her wand a super moist, dark chocolate, 3 layered cake with delectably creamy dark chocolate ganache frosting appeared in front of her.
She smiled, and with another flick of her wand the cake sliced perfectly, the pieces slipped onto plates and disbursed among the audience and contestants. She turned to the audience and spoke, "Now this may look like an ordinary piece of dark chocolate cake, but don't be surprised when you turn into a chocolate frog. Don't be frightened; It only lasts a couple minutes." She said with a wink and a smile.
Isley turned back to the contestants, "Good luck! You may begin!"
OOC: Just like the other rounds, you have four days to post. Have fun!

magical dessert: privateer cakes - mini spiced apple rum cakes
HOLISTIC ACTRESS {X O} EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED
She had made it to the final round, heck, they all had. Everyone here was a tried and true chef in her eyes – well, maybe she wasn’t a chef persay. She was a baker masquerading as a lawyer. Still, her she was, getting ready to create a dessert for the masses watching today.
”Its been a pleasure cooking with all of you, I consider you all chefs” she told her competitors before turning her attention back to the preparation of her dish. It was time. Now….what to make? As she was standing there thinking of what to make it dawned on her – she had magic steeped figs…not just any magic, but she had seen the language and persona magic ones in the corner. Running off she took them to her station and sniffed it – no, no the scent wasn’t right.
She wanted something stronger, something headier…something ancient and all together magical. Like the storms that raged at sea – and then it hit her. Pirates. She was going to make the cake she’d made for her sister’s bachelorette! With a little extra magic.
Running off to the pantry (again) she collected her ingredients before preheating her oven once again. This time, it was her ball game – it was dessert. It was what she was known for. Taking a muffin pan she greased and floured each of the divetts before setting the pan to the side once more.
In the stand mixer she added cake flour, sugar, unsalted (softened) butter, dry instant vanilla pudding mix, baking powder, salt, vegetable oil, eggs, milk, peeled and grated apples…and really, she added everything she needed for her cake except for what was likely the two most important parts – the rum and the Madagascarian vanilla bean paste. Mixing everything together for a few minutes she then added in the rum and the vanilla before taking the batter and pouring it into the molds.
Then she moved on to the important part – making the creamy delicious caramel rum sauce she was about to drizzle atop the baked treats…that is, after they were baked of course. Popping them into the oven she moved on to making the rum syrup and caramel glaze – it took a while but when the sugars melted and caramelized she introduced the rum and with a wave of her wand and a quick enchantment transformed what she had made into something more…it was more an edible delectable potion than a treat now.
When the oven dinged she pulled out the baking pan and letting the dish cool for a moment she drizzled the rum syrup over them letting it soak in as they cooled. Then with a flick of her wand she de-panned each and made them levitate and drop lightly and delicately onto their individual plates.
The final touch – taking a spoon she drizzled the caramel potion atop each of them and smiled toward the crowd. ”I hope you enjoy these Spiced-Apple Rum privateer cakes I made for you – now, they may taste like a combination of spiced mulled apple cider with a touch of your grandmothers favorite rum…but they’re different” she grinned, ”the kick is that they change your personality a wee bit into that of a privateer so, keep your wallets close and don’t mind the talk of Scurvy” because that had happened the last time she made it – her friends had all talked about how they thought they had scurvy…they didn’t, but it was what was on their minds when they thought they were pirates.

The magical dessert around. Alice had been waiting for this. Not that she was an amazing dessert maker, but she was a lover of all things sweet. No, not just sweet. All things chocolate. She knew they weren’t fancy, but her double chocolate flying fudge brownies were sure to be a hit.
She gathered her ingredients and preheated her oven. First she sifted her flour and cocoa powder together. The last thing she wanted was for there to be lumps in her brownies. Next she added baking powder, salt, and a dash of cinnamon. In a separate bowl, she added perfectly melted dark chocolate, melted butter, sugar, and eggs. Once combined, the vanilla went in. The rich chocolate smell was already filling the air around her.
Since she knew that the brownie edge was the best part, she pulled out her special all edges brownie pan. She buttered her pan and finished combining her ingredients, adding a little charm at the end. After pouring the batter into the pan, she placed it in the oven to bake. It was time to make the fudge for the topping. Real fudge to pour over the brownies in a thick, decadent layer.
Out came more sugar, cocoa, and milk to heat in a large pot. Thankful for her charmed wooden spoon, she set it to stir the mixture constantly until it came to temperature. No need wearing herself out stirring when she didn’t need to. Plus, it gave her a chance to give a little wave to the audience and check out what the others were making.
Her flame turned off as soon as the candy mixture came to temperature and she finished off the fudge just as her brownies were ready to come out of the oven. Perfect timing. A quick cooling spell made both the brownies and fudge the exact temperature needed to finish her dessert. She poured the fudge over the brownies, allowing it to set, before cutting them into small squares.
“Double Chocolate Flying Fudge Brownies.” She held the plate out for the audience to see. “Take one bite and you will levitate off the ground. Don’t worry though, it’s just a hover charm. You won’t go far.” Alice took a little bite and slowly rose to hover about a foot off the ground before gently lowering back to her feet.
“Thank you all for allowing me to compete today. It has been quite enjoyable.” Her infectious smile and sparkling eyes scanned the audience before giving a little bow.

And now it was time for the last round. The dessert round. With a magical element. He did bake a little, but never with a magical element added. Hell, he didn't even eat those type of treats. He considered it an affront to food.
But he had agreed to this when he'd signed up for this competition, so here he went. The first place Ronan went was the pantry to find a suitable potion, because there was no way he trusted his potions-making skills enough for this and he didn't know how to infuse charms into food. He looked through the available potions until he found one he wanted to use, then moved over to the food side of the pantry. Here, he gathered unsweetened coconut flakes, flour, eggs, brown sugar, vanilla extract and some chocolate chips and took everything back to his station.
To start, he preheated the oven and greased up a (clean) cookie sheet. That done, he pulled out a mixing bowl and added the coconut flakes, flour, the yolks of the eggs, the brown sugar and the vanilla extract and mixed them in a sticky-ish dough. Then he spooned the dough into a pastry bag with a tip that give him the effect he desired. With all the dough in the bag, he piped the dough out in a perfect round drop shape onto the cookie sheet. Then, he placed the cookie sheet into the preheated oven.
Now that the cookies were baking, Ronan pulled out a double boiler, filled the bottom with a couple of inches of water, placed the top over it and placed it on the preheated stove. Once he could hear the water simmering in the bottom, he added the chocolate chips to the top. He made sure to constantly stir the chips as they melted to be sure that the chocolate didn't seize up. Once the chocolate was fully melted, he added a few drops of the molten gold colored potion to it and turned the heat down on the stove so that the chocolate would remain warm but not burn. Then he checked on the cookies. Perfectly done! He pulled them from the oven, pulled the chocolate off the stove and drizzled the chocolate over the cookies before putting one each on a small napkin for the crowd.

Round Three...already?! Well, this event's gone too fast for Jeremy's liking. He still wanted to sample the other dishes the others made since it was exotic and all. The sample left for them for this round though. Oooh. Now he's gotta try that! Without any second thoughts, he got up front to take a piece of dark chocolate cake, and as expected...he turned into a chocolate frog. HAH!
Hophophophop...HOPHOPHOPHOP!
Jeremy hopped his way from one contestant's workstation to another and settled on the table which had coconut macaroons. Did the boy say LUCKY? Well, he might as well try that...but first...he gotta wait for the spell to wear off, otherwise it'd be a food eating food...which was...kind of weird, actually. Tiny frog arms were stretched out towards one of the macaroons, when the spell decided to undo itself, leaving a full-grown Jeremy Kane on top of the poor boy's workstation with both arms stretched out. Caught in the act, he quickly swiped a sample of the macaroon, popped it in his mouth, and jumped off the table. "Eyyy, this is good, kid!" he said pointing at the teenager as he sauntered back to his workstation to do his dessert.
With luck now in his system, Jeremy clapped his hands, rubbed them together and began working on his last entry. Unsalted butter, brown sugar, white sugar, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, canned pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, cream cheeeeeeeese, and flour were gathered and laid out randomly on his table. If they haven't figured it out yet, Jeremy worked best in a chaotic environment.
That done, he went on to preheat his oven, after which he mixed in a bowl his butter, brown and white sugar until it was creeaaammy. Vanilla, pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt were added, beating it. The rest of the ingredients were mixed in another bowl, and the dry ingredients were then added to the batter. That done, he went on to scoop out a golf ball sized dough and rolled it in a bowl with the sugar and ground cinnamon mixture and placed it on a cookie sheet. Checking the temperature of his oven, he popped into the tray and baked his dough for a few minutes, making sure it's a bit underbaked. He wanted his cookie to be chewy and not crispy. While his cookies were cookin', he worked on his frosting which was super easy to do! He started off with the cream cheese and butter by mixing them together until it was super smooth. More pumpkin was added followed by the vanilla extract. Pumpkin spice, cinnamon, and powdered sugar. Once that was thick, he set it aside and brought out his pumpkin cookies. He cooled those down pretty quickly with a wave of a wand and then began to assemble them one by one. Once he was done with that, he placed it on smaller napkins for the audience to try. But before those went out to eager hands and mouths, Jeremy cast his special spell on each one of it, making them invisible for a solid 5 seconds...and when they become visible again...they'd blurt out the word "BAZINGA!" Teehee. Fun, yeah?

Well, it seemed that Sturnik was just going to continue with a citrus theme. Immediately the dessert that came to his mind were lemon cakes. As for the magical after effect... that would be interesting.
He began by separating eggs -- whites in one bowl and the yolks in the other. He beat the egg yolks, along with vanilla extract, sugar, and just a tiny bit of water. Soon he was holding a bowl of fluffy yellow concoction. He added a stick of melted butter and went back to beating.
Next was three quarters cup of flour. Then more beating until the combination was successfully mixed. Next was a cup and a half of milk He added that in before looking though all the lemon related ingredients. What did they have? Lemons and lemon syrup. Perfect. He juiced the lemon and added some zest to the bowl. He then added a half cup of syrup and stirred until it was thoroughly mixed.
He then poured in the egg whites and continued mixing. One that was done, he greased a pan and poured the batter in. Now time for that to bake.
Now, here was the fun part. The topping. In a bowl he mixed whipping cream, lemon pudding powder, and powdered sugar. Goblins weren't much for sugar, but he could appreciate human taste.
Once the cake was done, he spread the whipped lemon topping on. He took a step back and admired his creation. "Lemon cake." he announced.
He spread out his fingers and hovered his hand over the cake. He methodically hovered over the entire thing like he was spreading invisible frosting on top. "Enhanced with a special little something we goblins use to check the details of gems and gold." he explained. It wouldn't do much of a difference in this setting. But if they were to, say, look at their jewelry or some of their money, they'd be able to have better clarity. It was a low dose and would probably only last a few minutes. Hopefully there was no one in the crowd that had unauthentic gemstones. That could get awkward.
Kieran really wanted to make a Blooming Chocolate Swirl Ball because he lllooovvvveeedddd them when his dad made them, but alas, he was no chocolatier. And he didn't exactly know how his dad did it, to be honest.
He could guess it, he supposed, but he didn't want to risk Anthony coming over and... no, that'd be bad. Not happening, no, no. Yes, no.
The 27 year-old decided on something else. Although it wasn't winter, he picked something that would be ideal for winter time for some reason. It could work in the summer too, though.
In fact, he would use seasonal fruits because... it was summer and maybe he should try to make it more summer-y. Strawberries and things would make it more season-appropriate, he thought.
He tossed some halved strawberries with the content of some vanilla pods, along with some orange zest and sugar, mixing it all in a baking dish. He popped the mixture into the oven and started working on the topping.
Kieran added some nuts, flour, butter, sugar and salt into a bowl and waved his wand over it. The content started spinning around as if being blitzed and eventually it was all evenly mixed. Adding water, he made sure it was now a nice dough.
The man got the strawberries out of the oven and started plopping some of the dough over it, making the dollops look like cobbles. Waving his wand over it after all the cobbles were in their rightful place, he cast a Heating Charm and the dessert started to bubble up a little. Kieran waved his wand over the dish again before getting some vanilla ice cream - because summer(though he'd also do that in the winter) - and plopping some in between some of the dough cobbles. The ice cream bubbled just like the rest of the dessert, but it did not melt. It even stayed nice and cold.
Thanks, magic!
"Boiling Cobbler." He said, levitating his dish and spreading his arms out in a tadah-pose! Yeah, the dessert did warm you up instantly as you ate it - added bonus of high-pressure steam coming out of your ears -, but the ice cream was there to help it... not... warm people up too much.

Finally.
Round three.
This was what she had been waiting for.
Cassie had several different desserts in mind for this portion of the competition but the one she had really wanted to go with... her most favorite actually she had chosen not to do. Simply because it took quite some time to get it all done correctly without the complete use of magic. So she would be going with something else today. Something she was sure she could pull off in the given amount of time.
Gathering all the necessary ingredients she laid them out along her area making sure she had everything she would need.
She went to pre-heat the oven before lining muffin pans with cut liners that had little snow flakes on them. Interesting choice perhaps but not really.
Into a bowl went the butter and sugar which she then mixed until it was nice and fluffy with a mixer. One egg white and than another. Some mixing in between with the use of a spatula to keep the mixture from getting stiff. Sour cream, milk and vanilla extract. More mixing.
Flour, baking soda and salt were mixed into a different bowl. Little by little, Cass, added the dry mixture into the wet mixture using the spatula to blend it all together well. Each muffin liner was then filled about three quarters of the way mixture. Into the oven the pan went.
Now it was time to prepare the frosting. She got herself two large bowls into which went butter, vegetable oil and vanilla extract mixing it up well. Then the powered sugar until the mixture was no longer wet anymore. Just a dash of heavy cream to keep it from getting to thick.
Cassie repeated what she had just done once more with the other empty bowl only using half the amount of ingredients this time as well as hot cocoa powder.
When the time was just right she checked on the muffins. Perfect in color, fluffy and not dry looking. Each one was taken from the pan and laid out onto a fancy tray with winter napkins. From the top of each muffin she used a small spoon to scoop out a circle deep enough so it went into the center of each one. She then filled a pipping bag with the hot chocolate frosting. Pulling out her wand she muttered a quiet charm onto the frosting which would keep the frost warm and liquidy making it taste just like real hot chocolate but it wouldn't soak into the muffin. She closed up the piping bag and filled each muffin with the mixture before fitting a bit of the muffin back on top of it.
Into a clean piping bag went the white frosting and she closed it up with the tip of her choice. A nice pretty swirl of white frosting was laid around the top of each muffin. Once more she cast a soft charm but this time on each individual cupcake, the white frosting slowly starting to freeze up and shimmer with small white ice crystals.
"These are Arctic Frost Cupcakes. Not only will they keep you cool on a warm summers day but the white frosting will allow you to turn anything you touch into ice crystals for a couple of seconds. Don't worry, it doesn't last long and it won't hurt!" Nothing to fear parents. If it was at all dangerous she wouldn't even have considered it! Cassie smiled warmly before adding as an after note. "Also as a small added bonus the chocolate frosting inside the cupcake is a cooled down version of hot cocoa."
What wasn't there to like about that?

She had known it from the beginning. It was also the reason why she really wanted to do this. She already knew what she was going to to make. The only thing she hadn’t figured out was what her magical element was going to be.
First thing first, she was going to start making the dough and preheating the oven. She mixed together the flour, the sugar, salt, and yeast. In a small another bowl she added water, milk, and butter together and heated it up until the butter was melted. Then she added the butter mixture to the first bowl with an egg and mixed it altogether until the dough is no longer sticky.
She left that to set and rest while she got started on the filling. She took more butter softened and added cinnamon and sugar to the butter and mixed it up. Then she took the dough and spread the dough out in a pan. Sprinkling the cinnamon mixture it all over the dough. Rolling up the dough tightly then cutting it into even pieces. Placing them on a lightly greased pan. That went into the oven to bake.
Now it was time to work on the best part of cinnamon rolls the icing. First off she started out by mixing powdered sugar, vanilla and a little bit milk together. Of course she still needed to add the magical element. So she added a little bit of a turquoise blue potion emitting light silver vapour to the rest of the ingredients for the cinnamon rolls and mixed it up until smooth.
She got the cinnamon rolls out of the oven as soon it was done. That was the best time to pour the icing over the cinnamon roll. YUM. “Bye bye stress Calming Cinnamon rolls.” She presented to everyone and the audience.

Well, well, well they had hit the moment EVERYONE was waiting for. The judges came out and faced the audience and had all the contestants come stand near them so everyone could see them. Leon stepped out in front first, he knew it was ladies first, but today it was fantastic hair first and that would be him, in his opinion anyway. Pulling his long hair behind his ears, Leon cleared his throat before making his voice project so everyone could hear.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, you wonderful adorable audience, first I want to thank you for coming today and enjoying the samples and supporting these amazing people. We have had a great, great day and some amazing food to go with it, but as we know there can only be one winner and we will get to that now.
The overall winner of today's cook-off with a very bold move using grilled cheese in a competition is Logan-Anne McNevin and our runner-up award goes to one of our youngest in the competition, though age isn't keeping him down, Ronan Carter." The trophies and the prizes were passed out and all the clapping was going on now.

Logan smiled over to her fellow competitors and gave them all a kind we did this smile – she wanted to tell Kiernan that he had been really a blast to cook with. When the trophies were about to be passed out.
First…place how? Still, she wasn’t swelling with pride at this she was happy and delighted but really. Truly, Logan wanted to tell the young runner-up that he had done a marvelous job and that his Macaroons looked amazing. ”thank you,” Logan took a moment to look over to Leon after his speech and the trophies were handed out. Yes, she was going to say a proper thank you and everything but she didn’t want to speak out of turn. Still, she turned to Ronan and gave him a kind smile, ”congratulations Mr. Carter, it was a real treat getting to compete against you” she smiled softly.

Waiting for the judges to taste all the food and then tally up everyone's scores was the most HARDEST part of the entire cook-off for sure. Cassie couldn't keep herself was nervously chewing on the inside of her cheek as she waited along with all the other competitors, blue eyes seeking out her friends and family in the audience in hopes of calming her nerves a little bit.
Each round had brought about a different challenge for the newly turned seventeen year old. She was surrounded by a group of very talented cooks. All the food that was prepared today was incredible and she was happy to be a part of it all.
Finally after some time the judges announced the winner. Though it wasn't herself, Cassie smiled warmly nonetheless at Logan, "Congratulations, you're food looks amazing." It was true. She was sure the award was well earned. Oh, Ronan got runner up? The blonde gave him a smile and congratulated him as well too. He did a great job as well. Seeing the her own points came in only two below his made her smile, honestly that wasn't at all bad for her first cooking competition. She was happy.
