Feeling all confused and awkward right now, as he looked up at Sydney's laughing face, Sander didn't know what to do. He liked feeling her body next to his.

No....no....time to get up off the ground. People might be staring....

Fallen head over heels for her?....was he?....oh no she was just joking....or maybe she wasn't.

He continued to stare up at her until she got up...and that's when he felt a pang of loss. Keeping his eyes lowered he took her hand and stood up.

"I guess we should go back to playing," he quickly said, hoping that if he didn't stand next to her, his feelings of confusion would subside.

"Yes...pick up bowling head. Better to hear it screaming than listen to my own thoughts right now."

"Yeah i guess we should get back to playing handsome." she smiled brightly. Then she went to go and do her last turn. She picked up a shrunken head and it even talked back to her....

"AI PRETTY LADY I SAW THAT. YOU LIKE THAT MAN! NOW GIVE ME A SPIN!" it said demanding it. She turned around to Sanders and gave him a flirty wink hoping he heard that.

She put her arm back and threw the head lining up with the center arrow and then she got a spare!

"WOOHHHOO" she said jumping up and down. "Did you see that Sander i got another spare?" she said happily and went to go sit next to him. She even held his hand and she looked at him and smiled and wondered what he was gonna do about it.

Sander watched as Sydney picked up the shrunken head and blushed when he heard what the head loudly told Sydney.

Ground please open and swallow me up....Sander did like the girl but he didn't want the whole bowling alley to know that...and what about Calisto. Had she heard what the stupid head had said too?

He initially felt embarrassed for Sydney too until he saw her turn around and wink at him. He breathed a sigh of relief. He didn't want her to feel awkward just because he was getting all these weird feelings whenever he was around her.

"YES Nice one, Sydney." he cheered her on when she threw the head and more pins fell. In fact, Sander didn't mind not playing at all now. He just like watching her play. Every time she moved, or turned to smile at him, even the way her hair moved, made him feel all fluttery inside.

When she came back and sat next to him, he smiled back at her totally captivated by her beautiful smile....and it just felt natural when she slipped her hand into his.

Sander sighed and entwined his fingers around hers. Now that also felt good.

Should he get up and take his turn?

Nah! he'd rather sit here with her.

Sydney smiled when Sander was cheering her on. At least he was paying attention to her. She smirked at that and the plan was working. But she was starting to have strong feelings now, knowing he was feeling the same way. But the girl Calisto wasn't really making any moves yet, so Sydney thought she should and see what she would do.

Once she sat back down and held her hand, she hoped he would hold her hand back. Then she felt his fingers tighten around her hand and she blushed. It did feel good. Her heart was beating fast. She smiled brightly. She moved herself closer to him and then laid her head onto his shoulder.

"You know to be honest....i am glad i am spending time with you..." she said looking up and smiling when she met his gorgeous green eyes. She felt his thumb running over her hand. She was loving the little gesture. She was rubbing her thumb over his hands and couldn't stop smiling. "By the way...it is your turn handsome..." she reminded him and decided to make a move and kissed him on the cheek.

Happily contented to watch the others play while sitting here with Sydney holding her hand, and running his thumb along the top of her hand, he was jolted out of his happy state when Sydney reminded him that it was his turn to play.

But he didn't want to...at least not yet. He liked the feel of Sydney's head leaning on his shoulder, so why would he want to get up.

Then Sydney did the most unexpected thing. Nice but still unexpected.

She kissed him on the cheek. Stunned Sander placed his hand over where she had kissed him. He could still feel her soft lips against his cheek.

Turning to look at her, he found that their lips were just inches apart. His eyes were drawn to hers...and before he knew it, he brushed his lips against hers, and when she didn't pull back, he pressed his lips against hers, and kissed her ever so softly.

Then he realized what he had done, and quickly leaned back.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to do that...I mean I liked doing it....but I really didn't mean to do it." he apologized profusely.

"Please don't laugh at me," he silently begged.

Taylor glanced in silence at the other people. She wasnt even sure how she got pulled into this group. Tay only knew the one that said congrats and that was it and even then she hardly knew that one. Taylor glanced at the girl and shrugged. The girl was probably better at this than she was. Tay wouldnt know. She rolled her eyes at the two people flirting. It was pathetic. Taylor glanced at her manicured nails and started to check for flaws. Tay was bored and was starting to wish that she didnt even show up to this alley. Maybe it would have bee wiser to had pulled Nash into the alley when they were both free and bored. Tay glanced at the others as they bowled. She gave the girl... Mika? a light smile, "That was a good try... probably better than what I could do." She glanced at the love birds again then rolled her eyes and tried to watch whoever was bowling next.

When Sydney kissed him on the cheek, she turned red but she smiled brightly. He didn't tell her off which was good. Her attempt work. Sometimes guys like it when girls make the first move. She saw him press his hands to his cheeks and he seemed stunned. "What no girl has kissed you before?" she teased.

Then he leaned closer and realized they were just inches apart. She could feel her heartbeat going to her throat. She couldn't even speak. This is what she wanted all along to be honest. She swallowed but realized her throat was dry. All she could do was smile, she couldn't even form words.

Then she felt his soft lips brush up against hers and she felt him kiss her. She was soo stunned. She kissed him back and then after they were done, she broke apart and smiled and giggled like any first kiss would be. "Don't apologize for something you felt was real." she told him and shrugged and winked. "Plus i kind of liked it too!" she told him and blushed.

Then she noticed Taylor and waved to her while still snuggling next to Sander. She rolled her eyes and Sydney could only chuckled. I guess this girl didn't like public display of affection for couples. But that was fine. Maybe she should introduce herself to her?

But she didn't laugh at him. She even returned his kiss. Sander breathed a sigh of relief. He still didn't know why he had kissed Sydney. All he knew was that it just felt right. His heart skipped a beat, when she admitted that she liked kissing him back too.

He wanted to say something...anything but before he could, she had turned her attention to the girl whom Alyssa knew. Taylor! Yes that was her name. The one who had recently gotten engaged? He first noticed how bored she looked and then he noticed that she had rolled her eyes in their direction.

O_o had she seen him kiss Sydney? Had anyone else?

Maybe it was time to get back to playing the bowling game. Not wanting to stop snuggling up to Sydney but at the same time, knowing that it was rude to invite others to play and not actually play the game once they were here, Sander stood up and walked over to pick up a shrunken head.

He grimaced when the head squealed out loud enough for everyone to hear,"OOOOHHH....I SAW YOU KISS THE PRETTY GIRL. SMART ONE YOU ARE. OKAY LET'S SEE WHETHER YOU CAN CHARM ME INTO LETTING YOU HIT SOME PINS!" the head taunted him.

Taking a deep breath, he stuck his fingers in the head's holes and recalled what Sydney had taught him. Line up at the arrow. Position hips...oh he definitely remembered the hip part....and swing your hand forward straight in front of you.

Sander swung and released the head. It went rolling and complaining...rolling and complaining down the lane. It got nearer to the pins...nearer...and then it hit the pins right down the middle. Pins went flying.

Sander didn't care how many he got. He jumped up in the air in jubilation and quickly returned to Sydney, grabbed her up in a hug and swung her around.

"I did it. I did it. I remembered everything you taught me. You're a great teacher." he smiled up at her.

Okay time to let her back down now, Sander.

Sydney saw that Sander wanted to say something but then he noticed another girl and the moment was broken. Her heart dropped and wonder if this moment was a one time thing. But they needed to pay attention to the other players which is probably what he was thinking as well.

Sydney waved to Taylor while Sander was bowling and decided to make small chat. "Hey Taylor i am Sydney. Nice to meet ya." she said extending her hand.

Then Sydney heard the shrunken head talking and the head said he was a smart one kissing the pretty girl. She smirked and blushed. She even saw Sander react to what the head said and he even smirked. She was glad he felt the same way. She saw the pins flying and he got a spare! She beamed and was happy for him!

She walked over to him and then he scooped her up in a hug. She hugged him tightly. "Aww you are welcome..." she said through his hug. "I am glad to be of service." she said staring up into his eyes. She couldn't help it but she kissed him again on the lips to get the feel again. She got the butterflies after she broke away and still smiled.

She didn't care if Calisto got mad....she was doing what her heart was telling her.

Sander smiled. For some unexplainable reason, he was feeling very happy. His heart skipped a beat every time Sydney smiled at him, just like she was doing now.

When he looked into her eyes, he felt like he could spend his entire life looking into her beautiful blue eyes and get totally lost in them.

Did that sound mushy? Sander didn't think so.

Then it happened again. He found that he was staring at her lips again, and before he could do anything, she did it for him. This time she kissed him on the lips. Sander wanted it to go on forever but then she leaned back and the kiss was broken.

But that didn't mean Sander forgot how that kiss felt. He could still feel it, all the way down to his toes...and his tummy. It felt like they were full of butterflies.

Oh boy, he was definitely in trouble.

The pained expression on her face didn't mean much of anything at all. Really it was the talking heads - the awkward nearly kissing in the lane next to her. And well her inability to hit a pin that had made her cringe.

Well, maybe more the lovebirds in the corner. God, at least they didn't sound like them. If they chirped like love birds she would have had nothing else to do but lock them in a cage and put a blanket over them. Oh right, Taylor was talking.

Mika glanced over to Taylor and gave her a pained smile. Kissing in the corner was just ripping at her like throwing salt into a wound. Moving closer to the former claw she smiled. "Thanks - yeah, I couldn't concentrate what with the show in the corner." She muttered as she mentioned toward both Sander and the french girl? She'd already forgotten her name...Syd....Syddie? Wait wasn't that Isidora's nickname? Or way it was close to that Sydney. Right. Oh right she was the secretly-wanted-to-be-australian-french-gril.

"Taylor, I know we don't know each other all that well and everything but do you want to get some food? And maybe not at the alley?" She asked as she gave another glance to the twittering-pating couple.

Sydney smiled when she and Sander had their little moment. Then she noticed she wasn't being very fair to the others. Sydney back away from Sander and said. "I think i better handle this..." then she kissed him one last time and then went to the two girls and talked to them.

"Hey girls...i am sorry we made you feel uncomfortable..." she said squirming and hated making people feel like this. "We still wanna bowl with you guys." she said to Taylor and Mika. "Can we start over and have a good time?" she asked them hoping they would say yes?

Taylor nodded at Mika, "yeah, I totally agree... It is a bit distracting... but I am so confused to how the heck I got pulled into this." She laughed and smiled, about to ask if she wanted to head out with her when the girl came over. Tay gave the girl a glance over, "Actually... I think Im going to head out... I need to stop by a few places and maybe get some food before heading over to see my fiance..." Taylor glance over at Mika, "Would you like to come with me? I mean, if you are done bowling that is..." She gave a small smile and stood up, brushing out imaginary wrinkles. "I wouldnt mind company if you would like to come but you can stay and have fun bowling if you desire." At that, she gave a nod to both the love birds and started to turn to go.

Oooh. Look it was the Sydney girl. Right she smiled over to her when she came over and felt her cheeks begin to burn awkwardly, oh god her hair was probably going to go all pink soon.

"It" She paused and heard what Taylor had said. That did sound like a viable option honestly. "I um, its not you two I just the head kind of bit me and I think i need to practice making the heads roll you know before I play again..." she paused momentarily.

"it was really nice meeting you though Sydney and you too Sander you guys are really nice people, and well...I'm just, in a weird headspace today." She bit her lip as she thought about Kaiden for a moment. "Kind of you guys being close reminded me I need to go talk t my ex and appologize about things, and stuff and food. Rather starving." She bit her lip again and glanced to Taylor. "Besides, I did promise her fiance Nash I'd try and become better friends with Taylor," she grinned over to Taylor.

"But I'm planning on heading to Florean's next week - you should send me an owl and we'll er meet up there? Ice cream is much nicer than being yelled at and bitten by shrunken heads in my opinion." She smiled still, before offering Sydney her hand.

"So...next week ice cream?" She asked kindly.

Sydney interest peaked when Taylor mentioned she had a fiance. "Oh you have a soon to be husband..congrats!" Sydney smiled warmly to her. She understood she had places to go. "But it was nice meeting you Taylor..." she nodded and was fine with her going. "I hope i can see you around Diagon Alley some other time." she called out to her.

"I am also gonna stay here with Sander, i think he has other plans set for us.." she looked back and winked at him.




Kace understood why Mika was feeling the way she was. It was quite hot out and she was in air conditioning all day. So Sydney couldn't blame her. She needed to talk to her ex about things? Oh well she might let her do that. Then she had other commitments she understood. "Ah i understand you wanna do something else too and ice cream does sound good right now..." she said wanting to taste some ice cream. But she still had to work.

"But it was nice meeting you too." she motioned to Mika. "I hope we can meet each other in Diagon Alley very soon."

What where was everyone going? Did what he did embarrass everyone. It wasn't his intention to do that. He didn't know that he was going to hit it off so well with Sydney and he had wanted to learn how to play bowling the head.

Feeling despondent, he watched as the girls talked among themselves before two of them left.

Guess it was time for him to leave too. Sydney had said that her supervisor had given her an hour break, which most likely was almost up.

So where was he supposed to go now? Calisto never came to join them down in the lanes, and he wondered where she'd gone. Had she seen what he had been doing with Sydney. Sander felt a little bad if that was the case.

He stood up and unlaced his bowling shoes and took them off. Walking in his socks, he was heading back to return them, when he saw Sydney turn to wink at him.

Did she want him to stay behind? Didn't she have to work?

Confused, he just waited for Sydney to tell him.

Sydney understood the others had to leave. They had other things to do. Then she saw them leave and understood Aleksander wanted to leave as well. Sydney unlaced her bowling shoes and went with Aleksander. She understood he wanted to do other things.

"You can go and explore Diagon Alley, i still have to work..." she said looking at her watch. Her time was up. "My hour is up but i will be off soon." she smiled. "But we can meet to get ice cream later will you like that?" she asked him and gave him a lingering kiss and then broke away and smiled.

Sander watched as Sydney walked over to join him.

This was it. This was where she would say goodbye and this would be the last time he would ever see her again.

Sander heart sank just at the thought of not seeing this beautiful girl again. But then she smiled at him and said those magical words...

We can meet for ice cream if you like that?

Of course he would!! That would mean that he would get to spend more time with her.

"OF COURSE I WILL!!..." Sander belatedly realized that he had yelled out his answer, and so took a deep breath, smiled back at Sydney and replied more calmly, "I mean I like ice cream. I don't mind sharing some with you. I need to go to Madam Malkins to pick up my school clothing, but I can meet you at Florean's after that."

....then she kissed him again....and he smiled even wider. His heart skipped a beat like it was dancing.

Sander leaned over and returned the kiss, before picking up his bowling shoes and headed back to the counter to return them.

Sydney beamed when he accepted the invitation. "Great!" was all she could say but her heart wanted to explode with happy emotions right now. Might be too much for him to handle. When she heard his to do plans, Sydney nodded. "Yeah sure i can meet you after my shift is over." she said pointing to the counter. She walked back with him to the counter and holding his hand, to prove to Chris that she was right all along in predicting they would be together. "So i will see you later then?" she asked and then kissed him and watch him leave.

Man she would never get tired of kissing him, when all it leaves are butterflies in her stomach.

... and he gave them the change from both, which meant it was one of their's that they set down. Scooping it up and shoving it in her hand he turned and headed to lane one. "So you want to be up first or should I?"

Looking at the balls, Bart picked one up and set it back down, picked another one up and set it back down. Finally after a few more tries he found one that he liked and took it setting it down on their lane.

"I haven't played in a long time, so I might be rusty." Not that he would be bad. He was good at all things, at least that's what he thought. Sitting down he wrote Sophie's name in the paper and then wrote his own. Was she ready?

Connor walked down the lanes, He assumed Addi was right behind him and looked back for her. This would be fun, though he had never gone bowling with shrunken heads and was prepared to hear all the shouting and insults they had to offer, Merlin.

He was sure it would be like using an annoyed Jun as a bowling ball and having to hear all the crazy things he would have to say.. Hmm He reached the lane but he was going to wait for Addi, Was ladies first still a thing with bowling?

Adelaide was right behind Connor, bowling shoes in place. This was going to be very interesting. Who would have thought of bowling with Shrunken Heads? Definitely not her. These were bound to make the day that much more fun.

"You ready to have some fun?" And friendly competition of course. She wasn't one for losing...even if it was to her boyfriend.

Connor looked at their lane and saw the heads, the idea was kind gross..plus they yelled at you, but it also seemed kinda funny. So this would be an experience aaaaaaand a good one, cause he was here with Addi and she was fun and cute and junk.

"Yeah, although you're probably gonna get all intense on me. For all i know you're probably hustling me." He joked, grinning from ear to ear.

Alright now it was time to bowl. He thanked Bart for paying for him, he didn't plan for people paying but it was a nice gesture. As he followed the person behind the counter to their assigned bowling alley, he looked at his friends and sat down on the chairs. He made sure his shoes were on the proper feet and after he checked he began putting names into the system. He put Bart and Kace on one lane and Cinna and Emmy on the other lane. He clapped his hands and went over to get the right bowling balls.

Once he did, he gestured Bart and Cinna to bowl first. I mean it was only fair to let the guests go first.

Finally they were getting there lane. With bowling shoes in hand Cinna worked over with the others to their lane. She sat down slipped the flip flops that she currently had on off. She put the bowling shoes on and tied the laces tight. Now what else did she need?

Oh yeah, a ball. A bowling ball of course. She would need one to bowl unless she wanted to fling herself down the lane. Which actually sounded pretty fun* She went over and picked one out.* She headed back over to the lane. Kace wanted them to go first. She nudged Bart. "Go on. We are saving the best for last." She smirked and winked at him. Hehe. Plus they could sneak off to the snack bar first and get some food.
