"You got it!" Isley quickly grabbed four sample spoons, making two samples of Jalapeno and two samples of Nacho Cheese. "Here are some samples of Jalapeno and nacho Cheese. If you would like to sample anything else let me know." She said with a smile, and then quickly pulled out two single scoop cups, making one a heaping scoop of Chocolate Frog and the other a heaping scoop of Treacle Fudge. She then quickly brought the ice creams back over to the counter. "Here you are darlings. That will be 6 sickles, please!" Isley said with a smile. |
She deserved this. After a VERY long day at work, Sam decided that ice cream was IN THE CARDS! Arriving at the counter, Sam took a look at the menu and rang the bell. She decided to keep looking at the options until the shopkeeper was ready for her. If she was made to wait too long, she would just keep adding scoops of different flavors. No self control today. |

Sam had been browsing the menu to her heart's... well, stomach's content. When the shopkeeper emerged, Sam smiled. "Oh not at all!" She had actually only chosen two flavors so far, and she decided to stop there... for now. "I'd like a double scoop, please, lemon drop on top and chocolate frog on the bottom." That couldn't possibly be the weirdest combo, and even if it was, Sam had no shame at Florean's. She would have gotten more if she thought she could make it to a table without dropping some of it. |

Isley was exhausted already and the day hadn't even started yet. Her assistant got a better job, and her intern had a baby and didn't have the time to help out anymore. Besides, she was to old to be an intern anyway. Isley didn't mind doing the work on her own. Most days it wasn't too busy, but with summer here it had been far busier than the rest of the year because the Hogwarts students were out and about and having a good old time. After setting up the last tub of ice cream, she headed to the door, turned the closed sign over to open, and unlocked the door to a new day in Diagon Alley. She quickly went back behind the ice cream bar, making sure all the ice cream scoops were clean and ready for the busy day ahead. |
