Hogwarts RPG Name: Zahra Kettleburn Seventh Year | The Western Concourse Inside Kitty | HIT ENTER | UNO Queen Forget something at home? Running late and need a snack before you board the train? Once inside the station, you may pause to grab a snack or anything else you might need. This is a great place to meet up with friends before crossing the magical barrier onto the Platform. Be mindful of the muggles.

Josh was feeling kinda content with himself as he had managed to accomplish everything he needed to do during the summer, exercised even more than he had planned to do and stuff like that. Yet during this huge summer of work and some bit of fun, the boy had always been feeling the absence of a single thing: his beloved. Maybe this was why he had been exercising so much, which was as much as his body allowed him to do so without dying, trying to keep the negative thoughts of missing her and worrying about her away from his mind but, of course, it never worked. The feeling was always there no matter what he did.
As a result, though it was a widely known fact that he did not favour the classes much, Josh was pretty much happy with the idea of returning to the school as it meant he was going to be able to see her, talk to her and...everything else. However he had been wandering around the station for at least half an hour without being able to spot a single familiar face. That was...disappointing. So, sighing some the lion boy made his way to the concourse place not really knowing where he was going. He had no idea what he was doing anyway as his mind was full of thoughts. He had not determined and decided on an extra intention of coming here, like a B plan, so he just walked to the nearest wall, dropped his trunk and owl cage nearby and leaned against the wall just staring at people passing by. Staring but not really seeing.

Rubbing her sore shoulder, Evelyn finally made her way to King's Cross station, having lost the taxi driver in the crowd. Seriously, if she could pay the guy with wizard money, she would have, and if she could apparate, this whole hitch a ride and run thing wouldn't have had to happen. Again. She'd just....pay him later.
This last summer seemed like it would never end. It was rough, and her whole body ached, but her shoulder was particularly annoying at the moment. Not to mention every minute that passed, she was missing Josh more and more. Forget school, she wanted to be with her boyfriend. With Poof walking by her side, weaving in and out of people's way, Evelyn took a glance at the giant clock, only to see she was rather early. Better early than late she supposed. Yet she didn't want to have to face all the kids running around at the station just yet. The thought just, annoyed her.
Running a hand through her dark hair, she made her way back towards the entrance somewhat, having noticed a nice place to just...relax...for the time being. But as she neared it, the seventeen year old had to take a double glance at someone. Just...what? That boy there. Leaning against the wall. Staring at him, Evelyn stopped and dropped her luggage. That...was Josh. Right? Blink.

Maybe it was a mistake that he had escaped home, yes now he was to call the place he had been staying at 'home', earlier than necessary for just standing there alone and waiting was...plain boring. Watching the crowd was no fun either as when he tried to see...anything...he saw nothing but people all happy together with the ones they loved. Something he pretty much lacked right now. So, deciding to ignore them, as it did not helped him even a bit, the Gryffindor looked down fixing his eyes at the floor instead.
As if it was any more interesting than the happy people out there. But at least it was not upsetting. Just...the floor and nothing else.
The quiet sounds that the owls did was coming to his ears, yet Josh refused look up. Those creatures knew how to take care of themselves anyway. Then he heard a kid nearby calling out for his dad, Josh refused to look up again as it had nothing to do with him and the voice of the kid's dad answering was not too late to rise up. No one needed his help...or he was just wrong about that.
When he heard someone dropping something though, the Gryffindor looked up and around quickly wondering what had happened and if the person needed any help. His dark brown eyes were quick to spot the person in question; a girl and it looked like she had dropped her luggage and...wait! Tearing his gaze away from the luggage on the floor, Josh stared back at the girl. The beautiful girl. Beautiful enough to be only his girlfriend.
Not really believing his eyes, the boy quickly pushed himself off the wall and took a few quick and impatient steps towards the beauty his heart racing together with his mind. Yet, something made him stop at the half way. He just stopped and blinked at the girl. He was not imagining things, right? Was he?
Well...there was only one way to figure out; ''Rose?''
His voice sounded a bit hesitant yet determined and full of hope at the same time.

The smile was threatening to show on her lips, but somehow, it never quite made it there. Somehow after a loooong summer of not seeing him, him standing right there, it just didn't seem real?
Ignoring the others that walked by, not caring that perhaps her luggage and cat were in the way, her heart thudded as she watched him move closer rather quickly, half expecting him to walk all the way to where she stood. Yet he stopped halfway.
Hearing her name, the smile finally appeared as she herself walked the rest of the way towards him, perhaps a little slower than he had, but at the last second her pace quickly as she jumped up and wrapped her arms around him. "Josh!" Good Merlin, she'd been waiting for this moment all summer. ALL SUMMER!
It was like time wanted her to suffer since it went by so slowly. Look who was laughing now though! Time could just stop now that she had her love in her arms again. She missed him.

Yes! Yes! Yes!
She was no part of a hallucination. She was real! His girlfriend, whose presence he had been craving for during the whole summer!!! It was so obvious from the way she reacted to the voicing of her name, from the way she made her ways towards him and from the way she said his name. Merlin! He even missed her voice so badly so when she finally hugged him, the boy was pretty much convinced that there was nothing but happiness in his life now, starting from that very moment.
When he was finally able to snap out of the momentary shock and surprise, the boy opened his mouth to say something as he hugged her back...pretty much tightly so no one would be able to take her away from him...yet no word could make its way out his mouth. He was speechless yet who needed to speak anyway? His fast beating heart and tightly wrapping arms were enough to tell how he was feeling at the moment.
Then the next moment he could sense more of the longing he had for her and sliding his arms down to her waist, he buried his face in her soft hair taking in the smell he loved so much. After a moment or so, then Josh felt that he might be able to speak. ''Never a moment passed that i did not miss you or did not think of you.'' Did that make any sense?

She couldn't believe he was actually right here. That SHE was right here, hugging him, and he was hugging her back. The whole ride over to the station felt like a lifetime, and that added on to the wait of the entire summer...it was just a relief to be here with him.
The girl smiled a little when she heard his words, resting her forehead on his shoulder, and thinking of how much she had thought of him. "I missed you." she mumbled, holding him tighter, forgetting the aches and pains. "So much." Sighing quietly in content and happiness, after a moment, she pulled back just the slightest so she could see his face. Her gaze stared into his eyes for a moment before it flickered over to the scar over his eye for only a few seconds. She had been worried that something could have happened to him over the summer, but, he was here, with her...and still as handsome as ever.
Placing both hands softly on the sides of his face, fingers playing with his hair just a bit, she smiled just a little once more, perhaps easy to miss, and kissed him lightly on the cheek before she kissed on the lips.

Could they just spend the rest of the day like that...hugging each other tightly? Because, Josh did not want to let her free. He knew she would not walk away or simply vanish as now it had been proved that she was real but he was not feeling like giving up the contact and to be honest he still thought they needed to be closer. But it was kind of...physically impossible? It looked like that way.
As they kept hugging, he lifted his head a bit and stroked her hair some enjoying the softness of it that he had been missing a lot. Of course he had to pause when she moved back yet it was no problem she was just...ooooooooh! A simple stare of her beautiful hazel eyes was enough to take him away from this world. So with a little but warm smile on his face, the Gryffindor kept staring back into her eyes unable to take his dark brown eyes off of hers.
She had missed him!! ''I missed you too.'' he murmured back despite the fact that he already had tried to mean the same thing with his previous words. But those had not sounded like they made sense so this one was better.
Then many thoughts and urges hit him at the same time. There was a lot he wanted to tell her, ask her, do with her...etc and he had no idea where he could begin with. So, thinking it would be better to ask how her summer had been first he opened opened his mouth and took a silent breath in....yet remained silent, or to be exact he completely forgot what he was going to ask, when she placed a kiss on his cheek.
He just closed his eyes and let out a happy sigh. And when the moment that he felt her lips on his came, he just stood and enjoyed it for the moment before kissing her back with all the feelings he had bottled in for her during the whole summer.
Talking about how the summer had been could wait for now.

It was a few long moments of being close to him before she reluctantly broke off the kiss, feeling something rubbing against foot. Mmph, what? Sighing quietly, she looked down, only to see Poof there, rolling on her back on her shoe. Now? She wanted attention...now?
Nudging her cat away gently with her foot, Evelyn turned her gaze back up to Josh, hands sliding to just behind his neck, yet still on his shoulders. Hmm, they should probably get onto the platform, shouldn't they? But the Slytherin didn't care to see what the time was, or even attempt to move. That would mean moving away from her boyfriend, and that right now, was unacceptable. "So..." she muttered quietly, the little smile appearing on her lips once again as she played with the hair on the nape of his neck. It seemed she could not keep one off of her face. Hmmmmmmm...
...What was she going to say again?

Renesmee stood alone waiting for her parents and her sister to come from the car. The only company she had was her pygmy puff Puffles that was sleeping on her shoulder. She was fairly tired and her hands were almost falling off. In her one hand she was holding her owl Aya, which was nibling on some owl treats in her cage and in the other hand she was holding her brand new guitar which was in its case. She had gotten her guitar over the holidays, her dad gave it to her as a coming home present.
She was looking forward to going back to Hogwarts. She had an average holiday being home had been great, but her time in Diagon Alley was not the best. She had bumped into Tyler quite a few times and each time it was worse and worse. She didn't understand boys. Why did they have to be so difficult? She sighed as she looked around continueing to wait.

It wasn't that she had anything against the food trolley, but she would like something that was made from sugar for the ride as well. Still, she was looking forward to having some licorice wands again. She had been missing them all summer.
As she turned the corner, she saw the face of a familiar Puff who she hadn't seen in some time. " Renesmee!" Kurumi called waving her free hand while the older held Walnut like a baby. " Did you have a good summer?"

This year Ness had decided she was going to work much harder then last year so she would be able to get alot more house points.

Faven looked around herself wildly, is this where she was supposed to be in a few days time to board the train to Hogwarts?? Why were so many non magical looking people here? She had wanted to check it out to make sure she knew where to go come time to board the train, but her she was, completely lost and confused.

A huge grin spread across Kita's face as she made her way towards the concourse. Boy was she hungry! She had food, yes, but... she needed some more. How was she expected to sit around for all those hours without any food? That was just-
BLINK!
Why was that girl just standing there? Was she... lost?! No! But... she was looking around as if she didn't know where she was. That's definitely a sign that the girl was lost, right?
Forgetting about the food, Kita turned and walked towards the girl. "Er..." she started, smiling at the girl, "Are you okay?" That's a good start, right?

The girl asked if she was ok, was it it super obvious that Faven was indeed not ok, and terribly scared and confused?
"Actually...no" Faven admitted, "I am well....lost." Faven wasn't quite sure what else she could say, how did she know that this girl was a witch or just a muggle, as she had heard nonmagicals called. Did muggles know that there were such things as witches and wizards? Faven didn't want to mention anything about Hogwarts, just to have this nice girl look upon her as a freak. What to do what to do!?!?!?! Faven was even more troubled now, her forehead wrinkling with despair.

She really would have hated it if she had been any different because that would have meant that something had happened and that she, Kurumi, had done a terrible job being a friend because she knew nothing about it.
Her face froze. Boy trouble. Yeah, Kurumi could relate to that. She wasn't sure if the younger student had gotten her hand on the school's gossip rag, but Kurumi's boy trouble was out in the open for everyone to know. " My summer was busy," Kurumi replied, deciding to avoid talk about boys for the moment. " I spent the first month in New York studying abroad. Then, once that was over, I went to Orlando in Flordia to spent a week visiting Conan." She then cocked her head to the side. " I-I haven't visited the Ministry," Kurumi said shaking her head.
Nope, she hadn't received any official word about that - which pleased her father very much.

Oh! She was lost... Well, that helps! But wait... She was lost... in the middle of a station. She was meant to be on this station right? Wait... Was this girl a Muggle?!
o_O
How in the name of merlin was she expected to show a Muggle where to go?! She got lost in Caroline's house, there's no way she could find where the girl's meant to go! "Er... Do you know what platform you're getting your train from?" she asked. 'Cause, well, she wouldn't be here if she didn't need to get a train. Unless she was actually meant to get a plane and somehow thought that King's Cross was an airport?
Oh great(!) Please, Merlin, let the girl be in the right place! There's no way she'd be able to show the girl where to get a plan from!

"Ummm....I am really hoping this is the train station I'm looking for. The specific platform I'm not so sure about." Faven answered apologetically.
Then she remembered the note that her parents had sent to her in the mail. Can't wait to see you sweetie, right before you head off! Platform 9 3/4...what a funny thing!
That is what her parents had written her, so Platfrom 9 3/4 must be the platform she was looking for! But yet, there wasn't anything like that here! How would this girl be able to help her?
Please oh please don't let her be a muggle, Faven inwardly begged.
"I'm looking for Platform 9 3/4, sounds silly huh?" Faven anxiously told her.

Please oh please don't let her be a muggle, Faven inwardly begged.
"I'm looking for Platform 9 3/4, sounds silly huh?" Faven anxiously told her. This train station? Kita looked around her. They were standing near the Concourse in between platforms 9 and 10. So that made things easier right? She was going to get on a train that either took off from platform 9 or platform 10. Simple.
Wait... She wasn't sure about the train station? So it could be anywhere in this huge station? Now this was just great(!) Maybe, in her attempt to help the little girl, she, Kita, would end up missing the Hogwarts Express and might just miss her last year at Hogwarts. That is, if she ever manages to find the station the girl was looking for.
Wait... WHAT?!
Kita turned her attention back to the girl and gaped at her. "9 3/4?! You're going to Hogwarts?" she asked, "Why did you say so before?!" But that wasn't the point. "You can follow me. I need to go to Hogwarts as well," she said, beaming down at the girl, "Er, do you want to grab a snack first? It's a long journey up to the castle." Unless the girl came prepared, unlike some people.

Unless the girl came prepared, unlike some people. Faven watched as what she said was processed by the taller girl. She was a bit taken aback when the girl gaped at her.
"Oh thank goodness! 9 3/4 is the right platform for Hogwarts then!! I'm sorry I didn't say anything about it before....," Faven said guiltily, "I thought you may be a muggle, which would make me look rather odd asking for such a weird platform."
Faven felt she should explain her circumstance a little more. "My family is made of muggles you see, all but my aunt, my late brother, and me of course, so I have no one who can help direct me, I've been staying with my aunt while my parents are away on business, but she is always away with friends, so I had to set off on my own in order to not miss the train to Hogwarts. So thank you for being so so kind to me!" She rambled out.
Just then, Faven's stomach growled noisely, she couldn't remember the last time she had aten. Yesturday...or the day before perhaps? She was a failure in the kitchen, and with her aunt never home to cook or shop for food, Faven had had nothing real to eat for a while.
"A snack sounds wonderous! I have some money with me. Thank goodness my Aunt Jemmie spared me the time to take me to Gringotts so I have access to my very own vault..." Faven stopped herself, embarrassed, this nice girl didn't want to hear about her life.
"Anyways, yes, I would love to get a snack. But, I see platfrom 9 and platform 10....where is 9 3/4?"

It appeared that...kissing her...was one thing he had been missing a lot, so he was not thinking of anything in particular during those minutes or, probably, unable to do so. He might be feeling like he was in another dimension anyway, full of his love and nothing else....which was until she pulled away. Despite the sudden emptyness he felt the moment she pulled away, it took a few good moments for the boy to get back to the world he was living in during which he just stared at the Slytherin girl with unblinking eyes.
And once he managed to snap out of it, he felt the disappointment over the fact that it had ended yet once all the curiosity about her summer and well-being was back, it had all the dominance in his mind. However...what was she looking at down at the floor? Had she dropped something? In order to find the answer to those questions, the boy looked down as well...only to see the cat there. It was not possible that the cat was the reason the kiss had ended, was it? Josh knew that those cats could be evil sometimes but...not that evil, right? No; no creature, or at least those that were considered pets, could be that evil. Plus, this cat was the mother of Lock. No glaring at her!
A little smile appearing on his face, he was about to decide if he should pet the cat yet when Evelyn spoke again, the Gryffindor quickly and automatically looked back at her. ''So...'' he repeated the smile remaining on his face ''...you are so beautiful!''. Heh. Leave it to Josh Carter to state the obvious at those kind of times. It was nothing to bother about, though. She was the most beautiful to his eyes and he would never be tired of expressing it anyway.
In general, she seemed to be in good health and condition so it was like there was nothing to worry about considering those. But one could never know all without asking. How she felt was more important. Therefore, taking a breath he gently wrapped one arm back around her waist while holding her hand with the other. ''How was your summer? How have you been? How was the visit with the friends of your relatives? No one did upset or hurt you, right? How was...''
Eh. Okay, that was enough...for now at least.

Her face froze. Boy trouble. Yeah, Kurumi could relate to that. She wasn't sure if the younger student had gotten her hand on the school's gossip rag, but Kurumi's boy trouble was out in the open for everyone to know. "My summer was busy," Kurumi replied, deciding to avoid talk about boys for the moment. "I spent the first month in New York studying abroad. Then, once that was over, I went to Orlando in Flordia to spent a week visiting Conan." She then cocked her head to the side. "I-I haven't visited the Ministry," Kurumi said shaking her head.
Nope, she hadn't received any official word about that - which pleased her father very much. Nessie looked at Kurumi's frozen face when she mentioned boy trouble. She knew why Kurumi froze, because almost every person at Hogwarts knew the boy trouble Kurumi had been through. She decided not to mention it to her, knowing she wouldn't have liked it if it was her in the same situation."Wow that does sound busy." she said, wondering how Kurumi didn't look tired from her holiday.
She didn't go to the Ministry? "But..I thought you were all supposed to go..." Now Ness was confused. She was sure Kurumi was one of the students that was invited to go. Wasn't she?
Ness couldn't take it anymore, any longer and her hand were going to break. She put down her Owl's cage carefully on the floor, as she did so Aya started to hoot. "Shhh." she tried to hush her owl, not that it helped. She really didn't need the attenion. She then moved her guitar case carefully so it was lying on the floor. "Sorry..my hands were killing me." she said shaking her fingers trying to loosen them. Her owl Aya had now finally stopped hooting and continued to nibble on some owl treats again. |

"Anyways, yes, I would love to get a snack. But, I see platfrom 9 and platform 10....where is 9 3/4?" Kita giggled. She remembered being that age and thinking how bizzare the platform number was. But then again, that was the wizarding world: slightly bizzare.
Wait... the girl thought she was a Muggle? Kita looked down at what she was wearing. Yes, fine, she was wearing Muggle attire and she didn't exactly have her trolley nearby so the girl couldn't have looked at her trolley and noticed the Hogwarts sign on her trunk to know that she was a witch. Kita looked back up at the girl and smiled. "I have to admit, i thought you were a Muggle as well," she said, shuffling her feet and hoping that her cheeks weren't going to turn pinker. Merlin, if she started blushing...
Kita blinked. The girl was a muggle-born! "I totally understand," she said, nodding, "Things like this is always a bit hard at first. Especially for a Muggle-born." Wait... Did the girl just say she had come to King's Cross ON HER OWN?! "You came here on your own?!" she asked, completely bewildered, "Merlin's beard, you're smart!" Did Kita know her way to King's Cross from her humble house in South London? NO! Being kind? "You're welcome," she said, smiling at the girl. The girl was polite.
Kita smiled at the girl as she listened to her story. Gringotts? "One of the first most important things you need in the wizarding world," she said, "A Gringotts vault." Wait... she was turning wise was she? Shaking her head, she turned her attention back to the girl. "How was your shopping trip along Diagon Alley?" she asked. The girl had gone shopping, right?
Platform 9 3/4? The brunette let out a small giggle. "If i tell you, you're going to think i'm mad," Like everyone else who knew this tall seventeen year old. Smiling, she turned round and looked for the special wall. "All you have to do is go through that wall between platforms 9 and 10," she said, pointing at the wall before looking back at the girl, "Mad."

"All you have to do is go through that wall between platforms 9 and 10," she said, pointing at the wall before looking back at the girl, "Mad." Faven worried that she was bothering the older girl, for she had giggled and looked down at her clothing in thought. Why can't I be a little better with conversation? I am outgoing and loud, which is fine, but real and meaningful conversation is a whole other skill. Faven blushed when the girl said that she had thought that she was a Muggle as well. Faven was hardly suprised, she has only known about being a wizard for about four months, and her trolley with her supplies for Hogwarts, including her trunk with the emblem, was pushed off into a nearby corner. Faven had been really anxious about having it on her amoung so many muggles. She hadn't wanted to draw attention to the strangeness of her items, especially her dear Eros, her owl. "I left my trolley with all of my Hogwarts stuff in that back corner," Faven said, pointing to a deserted corner shrouded by shadows. "I've been watching it out of the corner of my eye to insure it doesn't get taken. But seeing as I thought I was a Muggle up intil four months ago, I still feel like none of this magical world is real," Faven admitted sheepishly.
"I truly wish my parents were here with me, I would be so much less bewildered by all of this. " Faven sighed. Smart.....me??? Oh heavens, this girl thought Faven was smart. While she wasn't the dumbest thing in the world, she couldn't really call herself smart. "Oh oh no," Faven said, blushing, "Smart...not really, I'm just really good with finding my way about places, with my mum and dad, as well as my aunt gone so much, I find my own way a lot."
"Gringotts was quite an adventure! I met a goblin! Not a very nice fellow but helpful none the less and I got a vault so I suppose thats all that matters! The shopping trip was splendid!" Faven said excitedly. "I I got me precious Eros...or he got me to be more precise!" Faven laughed, remembering how the two of them met. "Flourish and Botts was wonderful, I do love books so much, and even Madam Malkins wasn't too terrible. Ollivander's made everything that has happened seemed more real! My wand...oh my wand....is just so cool!" Faven blurted.
Faven grew anxious at what the girl said. "I'll think you're mad??" Faven questioned. Wait.....the wall???? She wanted her to go THROUGH the wall???? Crash into it and embarrass herself more like! And here Faven had thought she would have a mentor to help her around Hogwarts once they arrived. Faven's lips sank into a frown. "But that isn't a very kind think to tell me now is it? Taking advantage of me being a first year and all," Faven mumbled sadly. "Why on earth would I go through the wall? All that would happen is a terrible crash, embarassing me in front of all these people," Faven said, gesturing around to everyone on the station.
