Hogwarts RPG Name: Sarah Bogle Fleming First Year |
Dodging muggles left and right, Sarah finally found the barrier between platforms 9 and 10. She got in line behind some students she spotted and waited for her turn to cross over. When it came her time to cross, she lugged her trunk and owl cage to the wall, casually leaned against it, and fell through to the other side, pulling hard on her heavy trunk which followed her. "I'd better hurry up," she thought to herself as she rushed to get a spot on the train.

Ronnie held her father's hand tightly. "Ready?" he asked. She nodded and excitedly ran through the barrier.

Sometimes you don't realize how much you like the ocean until you move to somewhere where there are none." Like Adam had: moved from being two minutes from water to being no where near water...unless you didn't mind swimming in swamps. "I've got to several different wizarding schools in the states," Adam said, letting out a little sigh. "I tried to stay at the same ones, but sometimes it just wasn't possible." Well...it would have been possible he supposed if he told his parents he was a wizard and that he wasn't going to be a boarding school, but a wizard school. "Thankfully there are a lot of wizarding schools around the states, so even when I did move and couldn't go to one, there was always another one that was close by." Adam didn't really have a favorite school, but that was probably because he hadn't really ever stayed at one long enough to get comfortable there. "Have you gone to Hogwarts every year?" Adam asked, wondering if Dallin had gone to a wizarding school in the states before here. Yeah, that definitely sounded like something Dallin would not want to do. He wondered why Adam changed schools so much, but didn't ask. He supposed that moving around probably contributed reasons for wanting to switch schools. Or maybe Adam just wanted a change, like Dal had. Still, though, that many changes? The boy must get tired of something quickly, if that was the case.
He shook his head, checking a clock on the wall for the time. "Nah. This'll be my... third year at Hogwarts." Time flies, huh? Starting this term seemed like a huge milestone to Dal for some reason he couldn't quite explain. "It's getting close to eleven... what do you say we get on the platform?" He nodded toward the barrier, raising an eyebrow.

"Here we are my darling, Platform 9 3/4," said Zhenya's father.
Zhenya had never been to Kings Cross Station before. Her parents never allowed her to come when they took Dimitri, her older brother, because they didn't want to lose her in the crowd. Again. Besides, Zhenya thought it was best not to go there and ruin the awe of the sight until her first year.
She scrunched up her face and stared at the wall for a while. Then she looked up at her father. "It's... It's a wall Papa. I have many of those at home."
Her father laughed loudly, "It's the barrier, darling, we have to go through it. Just wait, I want you to remember how exciting this is," he said, wanting her to remember the feeling of her very first ride.
"Oh. Well, can we go in now?" she said after a few moments.
"Okay, well your father will go first and then we will follow," said her mother who was still holding her hand.
Zander pushed the trolley and disappeared through the wall, and Zhenya's jaw dropped.
"Does it hurt, mama?" she asked, looking at her mother.
"No, it doesn't. We just have to walk quickly and you must not panic," she replied.
"Okay, well... Can we go now?" she asked and they began to walk towards the wall, picking up speed as they went.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Raven Victoria Sloan First Year |
Raven and her parents, Victoria and Michael Sloan walked up to wall between platform 9 and 10. "This is it honey. This is where we leave you. I wish I could see the train, and see you off, but since I'm what you would call a "muggle", you know I can't. Now, Raven, the first thing to remember is if you get into trouble, don't dig the hole deeper. We have taught you this, and we expect you to be on your best behavior. We know that you will send us and owl every month, and we can't wait to hear all the amazing things you are learning. This is going to be the best experience of your life, so don't ruin it. Make friends, and always follow the golden rule. If you have any questions, don't forget to talk to your professors. I know that school can be daunting, but your professors do have time for you, and they want you to learn, and enjoy learning, no matter if it seems like that or not. If you aren't doing well at a subject, don't let it get you down, you won't be good at everything. Just work hard and do your best, and we know you will succeed. Find someone at the school who you can talk to, like an older student, or your favorite teacher. They will be able to help you through a lot of the tough times. And remember, we will always be here for you, even if you can't see us, we are with you in your heart. Alright, Raven, walk through the wall, I've seen some of the other students doing it. Let's make sure no one is looking."
The family looks around. It seemed like no one was looking their direction.
Victoria continued, "All right. The coast is clear. Everything will be fine, we know you will love Hogwarts. Now, walk through the wall, don't cry, and don't sit alone on the train. Make a new friend, I'm sure that a lot of the other students will miss their parents too. We love you! Now go!"
Raven's father whispered into his wife's ear, "That was some great parenting..."
Raven hugged both of her parents and said, "Bye!" then grabbed her trolley which had several trunks, her owl cage that had her barn owl, Addison inside, and with tears streaming down her face, smiled and walked through the wall.

'This is it', Joch thought as she walked through the wall. She pushed the trolley full of her stuff, not to drag much attention.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Kynthia Near First Year | I'm supposed to run into that? Ok, I've been warned the truth be said, but still I have to run into a wall here! Well ok, better be done with it. Its Hogwarts I'm travelling to. I will run into a wall if I have to. Fortunately there were a number of students going in before me, so I did what I was planning to do and kept close to one of them. At least if I was to collide with a wall I'd have company...
I hugged my parents and said my goodbyes for what seemed like the 100th time today. My mother had a very concerned look on her face while my father his such-a-cheerfull-day look, laughing more than he should in a terrible attempt to cheer everyone up.
"Be careful! And take good care of yourself. If anything happens send me your owl immediately and I'll walk there to get you! Ok?" My mother said.
"Yes mom, you already told me that. I'm going to school, not war you know!" I said smiling to her, trying to assure her I would be fine. Finally after some more of this, I saw the girl beside me ready to leave too, so I had to hurry if I was to follow her through the wall. So I got all my things and after one last wave to my parents ran towards the wall. This must be the weirdest thing I've ever had to do in my life. The girl in front of me dissapeared and I turned around and looked at my parents one last time before I too passed throught the wall.

Me and my mother rushed into Kings Cross, I was going to miss the train! I pushed my trolley as fast as I could untill I could see the wall between platforms nine and ten in front of me. My mother and I ran straight toward the wall and I opened my eyes to find a beautiful scarlet train. I blinked, I couldent believe my eyes. It was real, this was actually happening.
"Honey, you going to miss the train." My mom said quickly. I threw my arms around her shoulders and embraced her tightly.
"Mum, Im going to miss you so much." I said almost in tears.
"I'll miss you to honey, but ill see you at christmas." she broke pur hug and stared at me. I tried my best to smile. I grabbed for my trolley and turned away from her. This was the hardest thing ive ever had to do. I slowly walked up to the door of the train and got on board. I found an empty seat and sat down. The train began to move and I watched my mother slowly dissapear in the distance. This was going to be a great year.

Really a part of Adam had decided that he wasn't going to move again, even if his parents did. Enough was enough, and unless something terrible happened at Hogwarts he was going to stay there.
Adam shot a glance over at the clock and gave a little nod to Dallin. "Sounds good to me," Adam said with a little smile.

Elina Ran at the station wall between platforms 9 and 10. She had left her mother and father to look after her little brother, Marlit. Ever since her brother was born, she had felt nothing but Jelousy for him. But now she was going to Hogwarts, her parents had not stopped fussing over her. Once she was on the Platform she wasted no time in getting on the train. She was super exited.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Lily Beck First Year |
Lily Beck was as scared as a first year could be, her skinny average height body was shaking from head to toe, she had told her mom how many times she didnt want to go to Hogwarts and she would have no friends. Knowing nothing about magic since her Mother and Father didn't want to make her squib brother feel bad she thought she'd be the only first year who didn't know a spell or anything about the school for that matter. Lily was a half-blood her Dad was a half-blood and her mom was a pure blood, her sister was 2 years old and her brother was 13 but a squib unfortunately. As she was preparing to sprint through the barrier she asked her mom "But mom what if nobody even likes me, I'll have no one to talk too!? Her mom replied "Honey I know you'll be just fine I'll write every day, and that's a promise, now come on let's hurry or you'll miss the train." And with that said they ran through the barrier. Lily saw all kinds of children along with their parents from first years to seventh and tall to short, kids holding toads and kids holding owls like herself. Lily had always wanted an owl ever since she saw a gray one with blue eyes she thought was the most beautiful thing. She gave it the fitting name of myrtle for the beach she once visited in her trip to America. As she turned to get on the train she looked back at her mom who looked worried and knew that her mother was just as nervous as she was, Lily leaped off the train ran to her mother gave her a quick kiss and hug began to walk back to the train. When she found an empty compartment she stared out the window and could feel the buzz of excitement in the air even though she wasn't too thrilled but she hoped that would change with a good feast and new friends. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Natalie "Pixxi" DeSantis First Year | 'Oh Merlin! We only have 7 minutes until the train leaves!' Pixxi thought as she looked at the big clock that hung over the train that was going off to Oxford. She had never been this nervous in her entire life. Sure, she had followed her three elder brothers James, Felix and Percy to the train several times, but this time it was different. This time, she would be the one to take the train. If she even got on the train with this lingering lot. Her father Karl was pushing the trolley while Pixxi and her younger sister Kayla sat on the trunk. Pixxi was holding the light purple traveling cage with her meowing ginger kitten Bellsnickles (Bells for shorts) inside. Kayla was chatting as usual, but Pixxi still hadn't quite found her voice yet. Felix stood with his own trolley in front of them while Percy stood with his trolley behind them.
Felix complained about always being late and pushed his trolley through the wall and disappeared completely without even bothering to look at the rest of them. Karl commanded Kayla to go and sit on Percy's suitcase instead as both Pixxi and Kayla might be too heavy to push through the wall. She did as she was told and Percy and Kayla ran towards the wall and disappeared, just like their brother. Pixxi and Karl was the next in line. With a slight nudge, she noticed that the trolley moved a bit faster and she held on tightly to the traveling cage with Bells inside, still meowing. They were closing in on the wall and it only took a split second before they re-entered on Platform 9 3/4, the train sending up black smoke waiting for last minute students to board.
