Amethyst looked up and to the wall. The owl thought the older girl's idea was better than the first, as she hooted softly in her ear. She gulped and nodded to her. "S-Sure...I-I'll go first then.." She stood in front of the wall that led to the platform. Here I go...,she thought outloud.

She held her trunk tightly in her hand, and the owl seemed to grip her shoulder tightly. She gave the girl one last look before running full speed ahead. CHARGE! She closed her eyes, ran forward, and then opened her eyes.

"Whoa...." She spoke to herself. She smiled wide as she saw the legendary Hogwarts Express. It was gorgeous, the train. She sighed softly, feeling like she was finally home.

See? It was better for Bunbury to go first. Arya returned the smile, though she wasn't sure it was genuine if she was going by memory of the woman, and waved as she disappeared through the barrier.

She watched her girl go through, and followed after a bit slower than the firstie.

It was something that he had done before. Jai looked around casually and with his trunk and backpack loaded on a trolley. He looked back at the wall between platform 9 and 10. The run had to be brisk and accurate. Taking another quick glance around, Jai started for the wall. Breaking into a brisk run, he neared the wall and before he could collide, Jai went right through.

FINALLY. The deaf girl had heard her. And Sammy had thought she was loud, gawsh, apparently not to Amy even her bloody father heard it but nooooo not Amy not until she used Amy's 'REAL NAME' D: Then seeing the family that basically just went alkfhk because of Amy FINALLY hearing her name she cringed a little. Play it cool. Was totally not Sammy's fault. Nope.

Then Amy used her full name. EVEN HER MIDDLE NAME. Not called for. Definitely not called for, but either way she hadn't seen the shortie for like ... FOREVER so she was excited no matter what she called her, unless it was rude, then maybe she'd care.

Though when she saw the mass of brown hair running at she almost felt like grabbing her cat and running in the opposite direction. SHE LOOKED LIKE A MAD WOMAN! But then remembering that Amy was a mad woman she got over it, ditched her trolley and also ran. Because you know, the classy people do that. As she ran, she couldn't help but think that if they were in a movie, this scene would be in slow motion and there'd be dramatic music playing the background, but when she was finally nearing her BUDDEH she leaped onto her, enveloping her in a squished hug.

SO basically.

*run*

*leap*

*squish*

*cling*

"I MISSED YOU MUNCHKIN!" Yes Amy was her munchkin now. Because Sammy was like a milimetre taller than her, therefore she was short. SUPER SHORT.

Janice headed to the platform barrier, and walked towards it while saying to herself that she don't need to be nervous. She had done it last year, and why should she be scared? After all, it's just a wall. A MAGICAL wall. No blood will be dropped , no skin will burnt, and no harm will be done.
After making sure that there are no Muggles watching, she went through the barrier. And it hit her: Could Muggles go through this thing??
She smiled as she moved across the wall, to the Platform 9 3/4.

Jory checked to see that no muggles were watching. Casually he walked toward the space between platforms 9 and 10. He wasn't nervous so he didn't break into a run as he had done last year but he did close his eyes. He still hadn't gotten rid of the feeling that he would crash into the wall. But the crash never did come.
Jory snapped open his eyes to the sounds of excited chatter, smiling to himself. He would soon be going to his second home.

Scott got to the wall, and already sussed that he was supposed to go through it.
In his head he thought 'Surely it should be 9 and 1/2' but then let that thought go.
He ran as fast as he could into the wall, enthusiastic but convinced he'd crash.
He didn't crash, he went straight through. He breathed a sigh of relief, and walked along the platform.

DUM DUM DUN DUUUUMMMMMM...

Okay why Amy had Bakerstreet in her head, Amy would never ever fathom, but it was okay, it fitted with the scenario, you just needed slightly dim lighting, powerful music and a slow mo run and this would be straight out of a movie. Though in actual fact, Amy was just running and shoving little kids out the way. She was cool.

Fact.

And so Amy continued running UNTIL...FOOOOOOLOP. Amy found herself picking up Sammy. Well. This was strange. And she couldn't take her weight...so Amy dropped Sammy down, but was engulfed in a rib crushing hug. One of Samamamamaaas famous hugs, they were litterally famed in the fourth year. Well, not really, but they WOULD be, if Amy and Sammy knew the "big honchos" of the year.

I'M NOT A MIDGET! Amy cried, a little insulted. But she couldn't really argue, even Sammy had grown. Amy herself was waiting for her 'growth spurt' but it was her family's running joke, at her expense of course, that Amy had shot up when she was 10. But it would not happen. SHE WOULD GET TALL. Yes. She would. But how had Sammy gerown and not Amy? HOW. HOW WAS IT FAIR?

How comes you grew? Amy asked, pouting as she poked skinny Sammy in the ribs. It wasn't faaaaaiiiir!

Bianca smiled and then looked down at her top, she had almost forgotten what she was wearing. Silly her. "Oh thanks!" she beamed. Fee had a green one?! "You do! I love green and not just because that's my house color," she winked. Mhmm, Bianca was and IS a Slytherin.

"Of course he has!" she laughed, ruffling Kenny's hair. "I couldn't even get him to shut up about you." Okay, now that was a bit too exaggerated, but eh, Kenny wouldn't mind. Pssh.

Kennedy tried to pull away when Bianca touched his hair.

Do not touch the hair! >.<

He froze at his cousin's next comment. That was partially not true! Now Fee was definitely think he was weird. Damn you, Bianca.

The poor fourteen year old tried to tame his red cheeks, but failed. "I, um," he couldn't quite say he didn't find Bianca beautiful. She was his cousin that would be gross, but if he said she wasn't beautiful then Bianca would get offended. "Well, I was too busy to...notice it," he mumbled sheepishly. Good answer, Escalante.

Now, was he excited to go to Hogwarts? Tough question. "I don't know, but I bet you are," he grinned. Fee had spoken highly about the school that he guessed she liked that place a lot.

Sage followed her brother through Kings Cross, she was officially starting Hogwarts. She slowed her cart to a stop as they approached platforms 9 & 10.

“Do you have everything?” Blake asked, holding her younger brother Lance’s hand. Sage nodded.

“Remember, all you need to do is run straight at that wall, simple!” her brother reminded her. Sage gave Blake a look, she hardly believed it was very simple, she was running straight into a brick wall for Merlin’s sake! “I’ll go first with Lance and Iris, then you go right after us, and don’t let any muggles see you!”

Sage watched as her Blake and her younger siblings run right through the wall and disappear. Sage pushed her trolley into position. She took a deep breath before taking off in a jog, as she got closer she picked up speed. The wall was coming up fast, Sage flinched just as she was about to hit it…..

Arriving at the platform, Macy and her brother arrived arm looped in arm, ready to go. She looked around casually, leaning against the cart so as to not be suspicious. Incognito. Her favorite word. In disguise... She was good at that, sometimes.

Taking in a deep breath, she turned to look at her twin brother. "I guess I'm off then," she said with a sigh. She was ready to go. Back to homework and classes and her humongous number of friends all two of them. She'd heard Jamie wasn't coming back this year either. *SIGH* She was so awkward. So very very awkward.

Eden nodded, looking at the floor. Yeah... she was off then. Without thinking, and managing to surprise both of them, the boy took his sister into a hug. He held her there for a few seconds and then let her go. "Be careful Mace... Mum'll throw a fit if you break another wand." He gave an awkward half-smile and pulled his two-way mirror out of his pocket. "Always here," he said.

Slightly confused, Macy hugged her brother and gave a nod, pulling her own mirror out of the pocket of her backpack. "Yeah... Always here," she gave the same half-smile before taking her cart and facing towards the wall. "See ya, big brother," she said with a wave. And starting at a run, she slipped through the wall without being noticed by any suspecting muggles.

He was only six and a half minutes older...

Today was the day. The day where he knew that he was going to be a worry wart. He was freaked out. It was weird. Going to a different school. He only knew like five people and then after that he didn't know anyone else. So he was welcome to new people. If someone said 'hi' to him once he got to the other side of the Platform then he would talk to them. But first he had to shake off the nerves and run through the wall. Muggle's must this us wizards and witches are crazy. What would happen if there was a spotting? Would the coppers come and get him? He didn't know and he didn't want to know. It was for him to find out. But he didn't want to find out. Not ever.

The seventh year Hufflepuff held tight onto the trolly and started out with a trot slowly gaining speed until he reached the Platform. So now he was on the other side and didn't know what to do! Should he say 'hello' to someone? Maybe.

Amy was a lot louder close up. And it was official, Amy was going to be the death of Sammy. Because she called her a munchkin. BUT MUNCHKIN WAS SUCH A COOOOOOOOOOOOOOL WORD. Kinda like ineptitude. Sammy liked that word. It meant awkwardness. Which would have fit the situation if Sammy was scared of Amy but she wasn't. "I never said you were, just called you a munchkin 'cause I laik munchkins and they have cool hair. But I could call you a potato if you prefer that." she said, picking herself up off the ground when Amy had so RUDELY dropped her, maybe next time she should give Amy a bit of warning before she quite literally leaped on her..... Nah, where's the fun in that?

Either way, this year Amy was going to be Sammy's potato or her munchkin. Because those were her two favourite words at the moment "And besides, the munchkins in Wicked aren't even short," she said, from her memory they were as tall as everyone else. THEY WEREN'T EVEN SHORT IN THE BOOK!

Why had she grown? BECAUSE SHE DID. "I dunno, 'cause I said so" she said putting her hands on her hips. Not her fault she grew, Amy had probably grown too but Sammy had just grown more. Sammy didn't know, it was all to technical for her.

Adam stared at the wall a couple of paces in front of him....was he really going to run at this thing without knowing for sure that the wall wouldn't knock him flat on his rear end? Well...if he wanted to get to Hogwarts, then yes, that was exactly what he was going to have to do. Perhaps he would wait to watch someone first though...just to be sure that it was the correct wall. It never hurt to double check right?

Finally Dallin was going back to Hogwarts. He was very excited about this fact, too. He was even smiling as he walked through the train station to the right platform. Looking at it, he felt a familiar pang of excitement and nervousness. Then, as he started toward the wall, he saw something out of the corner of his eye. A boy, around his age probably, staring at the wall. Dallin stopped walking, looking at the boy curiously. Either he was a wizard, and knew the wall was the way to get to the platform, or he was a muggle.

But, Dallin chose to assume the first option, and he walked over to the boy. "Hogwarts?" he asked, making sure to keep his voice down so that no one walking by could hear. If this boy was a muggle... he'd probably just think Dal was crazy. But then Dal would disappear into the wall and the boy would think he was crazy, not Dallin.

Adam figured that it was some kind of joke that out of all the people here, not one of them was walking through the wall while he was staring at it, trying to figure out if it was the right one...that or perhaps people thought he was a muggle that was a bit too observant and that's why they weren't going through it. Or, he was at the wrong platform. Adam gave a little shake of the head, overwhelmed by all the options when he felt someone come closer before whispering to him.

Adam turned to spot a boy that looked his age, maybe a little older that had simply said Hogwarts. Adam gave a little nod of the head. "I wanted to make sure it was the right...you know...platform before I just propelled me and all of my stuff at it," Adam said with a little laugh. Maybe that was silly of him, but seeing as it was his first time he figured he would rather be safe than sorry. "Um, is it the right one?" Adam asked.

Ohhh green was her colour?Waaiiiit,could that mean?Oh come on it had to."I guess you were a Snake then?",Fee smiled,"i am a Snake too.Fourth year."If Bianca was a Slytherin that would be more than amazing,maybe Kenny would get sorted to her bosue then too.

Aww Kennedy couldnt shut up about her?Now that was teh sweetest thing ever.The blonde was really happy that she had met him over the summer,he was such an amazing guy."Oh really?",the Slytherin giggled,"i feel honoured.To be honest i talked a lot about him too."Especially after he had visited her at home.Especially her brother wanted to know everything,he wasnt to pleased with his little sister befriending guys.But oh well.

The Slytherin couldnt help but laugh about Kenny's comment.He was too busy noticing it?Now that wasnt really nice."Oh well good that i noticed it for you",she laughed,"girls and woman like to hear they are looking good."Wiink.When the first girl would come to the boy's mind the blonde would teach him a little.Hehe.

Oh come on,he didnt know if he was excited?How was that possible."Glitter i am stoked to get back",the girl nodded,"its amazing there.I have to show you around.The lake is my fave place though."When it came to Hogwarts Fee could ramble on forever.It was just the most amazing place on earth."You will like it there",she nodded," i promise.Hopfully you get into Slytherin too."Now that would be fantastic.

While heading to the platform 9 3/4 accompanied by her mother, Ariadne tried to remember if she packed everything, not really paying attention to her mum, who was ennumerating do's and don't's for her.

The heavy trunk on the cart contained Ari's textbooks, robes, clothes, Potions stuff, cat toys for Pluto, the girl's brand new Sneakoscope, the three books Jory had given her on her birthday, the album and bag from Gwen, her wand, a few Chocolate Frogs, a box of Bertie Bott's, ink bottles, quills, fresh parchment...yes, she had everything.

'...Try to avoid swimming in the lake, it gets really cold in the autumn, not to mention the leeches lurking there. Also, be careful not to get hit by a bludger! Oh, and whatever you do, stay away from the Whomping Willow and the Forbidden Forrest.' Ava Marchbanks was finishing her speech.

'Muuuuum, after all you've said, the only things I should do are attend classes and write my homework. Don't you want me to have fun?' Ari whined.

'Of course I want you to have fun, sweetie. But it's my job as a mother to establish some rules. That's what your grandparents did every year when I left. But that doesn't mean I followed all of those rules.' her mother winked, thinking she could return to being a cool parent after having done her duty.

'I'm going to miss you a lot, mum.' Ariadne said, hugging her tightly. Ava couldn't hold back her tears; she had gotten used to having Ari around the whole summer, she didn't want her daughter to leave. 'Don't worry, I'll write often. And besides, you've got Matt now. Good luck!' Ari grinned, genuinely happy that her mother was finally dating someone again.

Ava decided not to reply anything to that, so instead she asked: 'Shall we?', pointing to the wall between the platforms 9 and 10. Ariadne swallowed hard; she hated walking through the wall. Without responding, she made a run for it and only opened her eyes when she arrived on the other side, her mother close behind.

Evangeline ran after her parents as they rushed ahead. She had no idea how to get to the platform and now her parents who were previous Hogwarts student ran ahead as they knew the secret of how to find the platform. She caught sight of her father pushing her trolley and ran to him as he began to slow down.

Her parents stopped infront of a wall between platforms nine and ten, She laughed at the little joke. "So how do we get there?" she asked staring at the wall. Her father passed her, her trolley and with her mother they ran at the wall. Evangeline stared in shock as they disappeared through the wall. Are you serious?She thought to herself. She glanced around to see if any muggles had seen them disappear but no one was watching.

I'd better hurry up, she thought to herself. Gripping tight to her trolley she ran at the wall as fast as she could while pushing the heavy trolley. She quickly shut her eyes when she neared the wall and when she opened them she was standing on an entirely different platform.

The train was brilliant. It was a bright red steam engine, Wow, she thought That was amazing. Evangeline caught sight of her parents looking rather smug, she walked over to them and together they walked down the platform.

Dallin smirked a bit at the boy's answer. He remembered the first time he had gone through the platform; he'd had pretty much the same worry. What if he ran at it and just crashed? That would be hard to explain to everyone walking by. So it was just sorta logical for the boy to want to make sure.

Looking between the signs 9 and 10, Dallin nodded. "Yeah, it's the right one." He had to make sure, ya know. Wouldn't want to accidentally tell a complete stranger to run into the wrong wall. "You know how to get there, right? It's easier to run at it, that way you won't have time to chicken out." Because walking into a wall could be kind of nerve-wracking. For some reason.

Lassie had found the wall that would bring her onto the platform, but she was scared. It's her first year and she didn't know much of what she needed to do. Finally, she got the courage to run through. Her eyes were wide, she had never seen such a beautiful looking train. She was now looking for some one to help her with her bags. Now that getting onto the platform was done, she wanted to find some people that she could fit in with, and started to wander the platform for a while.

POTATO. O_O

That was a joke right?? Noooo. She wasn't a potato, she didn't have a round head...well, not that round, or squashed, like a potato. Or bald. Like a potato. So she wasn't a potato. I'm not a potato Amy said with a pout, though she still hugged Sammy. She hadn't seen her (slightly) taller friend at all, unable to risk spilling her guts if Sammy began to tickle her. That was Amy's problem, she was rubbish under tickle torture. Hence why she would never be a super dooper secret spy.

Yeah...BUT THEY WERE IN THE WIZARD OF OZ Amy said, remembering and shouting her point across. Yeah. She'd never ever give in. Because Amy was short and she didn't like it that much.

Yeah, well can you tell me to grow please Amy said, standing away from Sammy. Anyway, oh tall one, can you tell me how your summer was? Or is it only tall people allowed to know about it?

GOSH SHE WAS PICKY. She wouldn't be a potato OR a munchkin. How rude. "Why not?" Sammy asked. Because she was confused, potato was a food and food was good therefore potatoes are good. Obviously. "Potatoes are good." she said with a nod. She liked potatoes, almost as much as Italian food because you could do anything with potatoes, like chips.

Sammy couldn't help but roll her eyes at her friend. "But that's set after Wicked and they're normal sized in Wicked" she said before grabbing Amy's shoulders and adding "so basically you're going to shrink when you're an old fart" it was completely obvious, no?

Sammy sighed a "Fine." then started her commanding of the universe in a deep voice "By the power invested me I hereby command Amy to grow taller" she said as dramatically as possible then pointing at Amy. After a few moments she stopped pointing and said "might take a while to work" BECAUSE IT WOULD WORK.

Her Summer? Well I guess a shortie could know about Sammy's BOOOORING summer. "I grace you with the brilliant tales of my summer" she said. Wait, what did she do? "I ate, slept, watched Doctor Who, watched a lot of movies mainly Indiana Jones, read a few books, met some guy called Everett that's apparently going to be in our year aaannnddd" she said in one breath trying to think of that big thing she did that was being extremely rude and not coming to mind. Oh wait. There it is. "I went to France for a week" she said then taking a MASSIVE breath, she needed to get into to talking-shape again. Amy would help with that whether she liked it or not. "What about you?" Real smooth.

Joshua was exited because it was finally time to get on the train to go to school. He walked with both of his parents through King's Cross station, looking up at his mom he saw her eyes starting to water and said, "Don't cry mom it won't be forever and I will right to you as soon as I get settled in and can send the owl." She looked at him and smiled saying, "I know but that doesn't meen that I'm not allowed to miss you." "I will miss you to mom," looking over to his dad, "and you too dad." Josh's dad looked at him and all smiled. Gripping the handle of his trolly and his parents taking either side with one of their hands, they all took off in a brisk walk towards the wall between platforms 9 and 10.

"No boys until 3rd Year, make good friends, don't prank to many people, and owl us about your sorting."

I gripped my trolley and passed through the wall. My mum came after me.

She hugged me quickly and walked away, muttering about how 'her husband better not explode the house by the time she gets back.'
