Blair nodded her head in pain. She felt weak in the knees. She never do this before as she held onto him tightly scared.

Stepping out onto the sidewalk, Kenzie sniffles a little. Her face pink, from her embarrassment inside the cafe. She wondered if she had made a huge mistake coming here after all. She never dreamed that Erik would come here as well, let alone discover that she had feelings for him.

A tear falling from her eye as she walks away, makes her shake her head. Maybe it's time I put in my resignation... she thought to herself.

America... that felt safe, far, far away from anyone she really even knew. Her parents dead, there wasn't really anyone left for her to stay here for.

Erik walked out of the cafe and looked down the sidewalk in both directions looking for Kenzie. Seeing her a little further down he followed her and stopped a little way back from her. "So what was that? Huh?" He was slightly irritated at her for ruining his date with the pretty Allie but hopefully tomorrow would go much better.

Turning around at the sound of his voice, she knew he was angry, she knew it was her fault. But to her now it really didn't matter no more. Her mind was just about made up, it was time for her to move on.

"I didn't know you would be in there." she said quietly. "I just...

"I just needed to..." she couldn't say it, biting her lip she turns her head away from him. "I didn't want to her hurt you in there, or Allie..." Wishing she was still in the DoM a tear falls...if that healer hadn't come in time, maybe she wouldn't be there right now at all.

"I think it's time...I move on." biting her lip again, she refuses to look at him.

Erik stood his ground and watched as she spoke, "Why would ye have hurt me?" He really didn't understand her sometimes, "Move on to where?" Shaking his head he walked toward her and grabbed her hand. "Come on let's get ye a drink so ye'll make some sense and then ye can tell me what happened at work today." He pulled her down the sidewalk in the direction of the leaky figuring they could use the walk and not wanting to attract attention by apparating anywhere.

"Erik." she said turning toward him her eyes glistening, "By interrupting your date with Allie. I should...never have kissed you." Shaking her head, she realized that was her third mistake. The first falling for him, second wishing he had been there, and the third walking into that cafe, seeing him and kissing him.

Allowing him to pull her down the sidewalk, for a little bit, til she finally just shook her head. Stopping, she pulls her hand free, "No...you don't understand."

Looking down, she fights her tears, it was time... "I fell for you Erik. I know I shouldn't have...but I did. I think...it's time for me to go."

Erik laughed as he walked along the sidewalk and nodded, "Yer right ye shouldn't have done that. Talk about killin' my chances. Good thing she seems ta be a bit understandin' maybe I can save mahself yet."

As she stopped and pulled her hand from his he looked at her puzzled. "Well explain then ta me what I don't understand and maybe I will."

Hearing her words he swallowed and his heart sunk. Why was it timing was always bad? He had fallen for her last year and after the whole incident gotten over it. Laughing he shook his head, "Sure ye fell..right on yer head. What DID happen at work?" Obviously something to not make her think straight.

He was laughing...a tear fell yep, that did it. He thought her feelings were unimportant. He thought she was just joking. Or maybe he thought she was trying to win him over. Who knew. "Erik...I" Stopping, she just couldn't bring herself to try, anymore. Her heart breaking another tear falls.

"I'm sorry Erik..." Shaking her head, she looks into his eyes one last time and turns to go to the bus stop. She'd take that home and start packing she figured. It was time.

Erik stopped laughing as he noticed she started crying and he swallowed. He watched as she turned from him and headed toward the bus stop. "Mackenzie! Come back!" As she didn't turn around again he sighed, "I'll see ye at work tomorrow!" She needed sleep. That was it. Then she'd see how foolish she was sounding. Whatever had happened at work though had obviously been traumatic.

Dominic briskly stepped out of theteephone booth- he always liked to take that way.

Brian made his way to the broken telephone booth, expecting his security staffs there. This's something bad. Lot of damages. He wish it was not happened. But unfortunately it didnt go that way. Brian sighed inwardly and looked around, spotting his security staff Dominic. He walked over to him, "Did you find any clues? Are you accompanied with anyone from our department?" he added with a small grin, "Want to submit FIR?" he asked him as his eyes still looking around to get the informations and calculating the damages.

Chris had just finished his own task posting some nifty announcements regarding 'bout the lifts and the like. He made his way to the phone booth where a car crash had took place. With those establishments' mirrors, near the phone booth, being shattered into bits and the phone booth itself being deformed and terribly flawed, Chris could definitely say that the car crash had done horrible damages.

He was rather confident in his suit, even though it wasn't a clothing he usually wears at work but since they were in muggle place, he knew that he should wear a clothing like what he was wearing at the moment and he was pretty sure that his workmates did the same.

Glancing around, he noticed his department head with an employee of his division. He wondered if Brian had a lead already but if not, he'd surely help find one. He promptly tramped toward Brian and waved slightly at him and at the employee who he knew by the name of Dominic. "Brian, you got a lead how this car crash has happened?" he asked respectfully upon approaching his boss. He took another glimpse around and saw that there were nosy muggles curiously looking at the damaged phone booth and he hadn't see the car, perhaps the muggles officers already took it away from the place. And perhaps, some muggles had witnessed what had really happened. But what should be their next move?

"Should we act as muggle officers or just act as nosy, interfering muggles watching the accident scene?" He told Brian softly, almost whispering the words he utter so as muggles wouldn't get a nose of what they were talking about. They should really act like them, like muggles, otherwise it would spoil their work and make things harder. "Brian," he started as he shook his head a little, "We can't be muggle officers. The true muggle officers might appear soon and we'll surely startle them if they see us investigating the accident, we can't act as though we were workmates with the muggle officers 'cause yeah, they certainly know they buddies. The best thing to do now is to wait, watch, and secretly investigate by chatting with muggles how the car crash had took place." He hoped they would sort things out soon, really. And certainly, those were the best things to do unless Brian had a better plan.

Brian was already in his casual outfits, exactly like a muggle. In his faded white Jeans and casual white shirt, he felt comfortable than wearing the bat like wizard robes. It was the one thing he hated about the wizarding community. Robes. Eeeek!

When he got the glimpse of one of his division heads, Chris, Brian started to interact with him. "Yeah, I got something Chris. It looked like an accident, pure accident, caused by may be a break failure or improper driving...that's all." For sure, there was no clue for any mis=conceptions. "Let's mingle with muggles to investigate more to make sure this's not something a serious problem to worry about especially from the dark-force." he added and suggested him with his mind was still looking for some useful clues.

Sawyer had been talking with a nearby muggle, trying to get some information from the guy, but it seemed that the man had only heard the crash. He spotted Brian not far off from where he was standing; his boss seemed to be talking with Dominic, a coworker of Sawyer's. So, after thanking the muggle for his time, he walked over to where the two men were. "Hello, Brian. Chris," he greeted them both. "Have you gotten anything yet? I'm still interviewing some muggles, but I can't say I've come up with much."

Ah..there was another staff from security department. Sawyer!

Looking at his curious face, Brian grinned, " Hi Sawyer. So far we're coming to the conclusions that it should be an accident according to the evidences. Well..no we've got nothing honestly.." his sharp blue eyes shifted to scan the surroundings once more. "What did the muggle say?" he shifted from one leg to another, feeling so comfortable on his expensive shoes.

Stepping out of the phone booth, Abilee waited next to it for Jesper. Good thing the ministry had installed this or else she'd have to go on a journey to travel here. But it seemed like she was early since Jesper wasn't here yet and he was the one who usually came early or on time. Noticing a nearby bench, Abilee sat down and took out the book she had given Jule for her birthday. The little munchkin had finished it so quickly.

Jesper quickly walked up the street, right on time. He was usually early, but this time he'd been running late. Or, late to be him. He spotted Abilee sitting on a bench nearby, reading a book. Had she waited that long? Woopsie. He walked up to her, hoping she wouldn't mind he was... on time. "Heeeey," He said and sat down next to her, giving her a kiss on the cheek.

While reading her book, Abilee heard footsteps but decided not to look up since she was actually getting into this thing. But hearing a hey, Abilee finally looked up and smiled at Jesper. "Hiii," she smiled and kissed him back on the cheek. "Looks like I was early, for once," she laughed and put her book away. "I need you to help me pick out a dress for a party. So would you be my date?"

Amelia was so absorbed in how she would get out of giving those ten galleons to her brother that she almost didn't notice the couple that she had just unknowingly walked in to. "Oh, I'm sorry!" she stammered. That was embarrasing! In her haste to get away however, she didn't see the upturned slab of pavement and tripped, cursing loudly..

Jesper smiled and peeked into Abilee's book. It looked like the one they'd bought for her niece, a while ago. "For once?" Jesper shook his head. "If this happen again, it's a miracle," He said sarcastically. She wasn't always late. She was just rarely early. Well, this as an exeption.
"Would I say no?" He smiled, standing up. A party, fuuuun.

"Very funny," Abilee shook her head, laughed and and slapped Jesper's arm. Well girls did need time to get ready. But she just happened to finish early and thought she was late. "Hmmm, I guess you wouldn't," she smiled and started dragging Jesper with her. "Okay, so I need a nice dress, accessories and SHOES!" Yes. Abilee most defitnitely needed shoes. It was a MUST.

As Abilee was dragging Jesper with her, someone had bumped into them. "Oh, it's alright," she smiled and stepped out of the way for the woman. Seeming as she was in a hurry, the woman had no tripped and fallen. Abilee gasped a bit and rushed overe to help her. "Are you alright? Do you need me to help to a doctor?"

"I think so" Amelia said. "Nothing a quick episky won't fix." she added grinning. "I'm Amelia by the way, Amelia Harper. Sorry about bumping in to you.... "Oh for the love of Merlin!" she cursed as she shakily stood up.. She managed it however, that was lucky she thought..

Abilee nodded and laughed a bit. Well DUH. Of course episky could work, so why didn't she think of that? Ehhh. "I'm Abigail Sinclair and don't worry about bumping into us, it happens," she smiled for reassurence. But then Amelia stood up so quickly, which Abilee was sure she shouldn't have. "I don't think you should get up so quickly! Maybe sit for a bit then you may be on you're way again," Abilee pointed to the bench nearby, hoping Amelia wouls sit for some time.

It felt like a century since Ashley was last near, let alone IN London. The Owl that delivered notice that she was offered a position in the Ministry of Magic! With the Department of Magical Eduation! Something that she'd talked about ever since leaving Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

It was exciting telling her family, especially her brother. He always loved the fact that she was a witch. Her parents couldn't wait until they could get a tour of the Ministry.

Now the next thing that was on her list was to find a temporary place to stay until she could get something on her own. Carrying around her ba was going to get real old, real fast.

... Maybe a cup of tea, as well ...

Jesper let himself be dragged away by Abilee, still grinning for no particular reason. Not ALL girls were late, only some. Anyway, most of it was just stereotypes, probably. "A dress, accessories and shoes," Jesper counted. He wondered what the thing was with women and shoes? "So where do you wanna go?" He asked.
