Elizabeth smiled sweetly, "Would you like to join us?" She asked both of them.

"Ohhh.. okay," Nicole said with a laugh. Nicole saw some man come up to them and started talking to Elizabeth. With a greeting smile Nicole said, "Its nice to meet you Adam." She then held her hand out to shake his. Maybe they all could hang out together tonight, maybe even share a table?
Robert smiled at Adam and said, "Its nice to meet you." As Nicole he held his hand out to Adam to shake. "As you already know I'm Robert," He added wanting into introduce himself.

Nicole smiled over at the lady that was talking to Elizabeth. Nicole thought she has meet or seen her around. Smiling Nicole said, "Hi, I'm Nicole. Have we meet before? I thought I've seen or meet you at the strike," Maybe it was the strike, maybe it was someone else?

Adam shook both of their hands. "If i may ask what do you three do for work?"
Elizabeth laughed, "I'm an ambassador." She left the other two to tell since she didnt really know what Nicole did and she had no clue what Robert did either.
"Of course you are, Iza." He laughed and looked at the other two, wondering what they did. He looked over at the lady that talked to Elizabeth and nodded at her, "Hello."

"Overwhelming, isn't it?" Cade noticed a man enter when they had, and she gave him a rueful smile. He looked about how she felt.

Thalia let herself be lead around and shrugged as he mentioned her step father. "Thankfully my siblings still manage to see our father occasionally, though I think my mother has basically disowned us because of him... her husband doesn't exactly like that we're only half-bloods" he was a real annoyance. Somehow even her mother started thinking like him. She was much to naive, and much to easily influenced!

She laughed as he gave he gave her a wink while talking about bias. "Same for me I guess, whenever I manage to get back to Australia... especially to my dad's farm"

Melanie smiled. "Pleasure to." and offered her hand to Jason

Melanie laughed. "Yes. Now that I think about it. I think we have." as she pondered over it for a few seconds. "Ah, yes. I think I met you at Elizabeth's house perhaps? Is that right Jason?"

Jason shook his head slightly. "No. I have never met this woman in my life." He inclined his head toward her. "But it's a pleasure to meet you, Nicole" He reached out and took her hand to kiss it slightly.


Melanie smiled again. "Always the gentleman, Jason." She wrapped her arm around him.

Helo glanced across at the other man when Cade addressed him. A friend of hers?

The curse-breaker squeezed her arm supportively. "I wasn't trying to flatter." But she didn't look out of place at all.... though he rather thought she should lose the dead animal draped around her shoulders.

Elizabeth smiled, happy that they will join them.
Adam nodded at the couple who just joined them, "Hey, I'm Adam, nice to meet you two." He smiled and put his arm around Elizabeth's shoulders to Elizabeth's slight annoyance.

Yeah, lucky. Trekking out away from the country, will hardly be home, leaving me with her auror in training cousin. Oh, sure. Greece is just freakin' Emerald City. Ben just nodded to the comment trying not to give off any emotion to the comment. He just nodded and smiled. More people were arriving; important people. Ben took notice.

Seeing Armen Recard, he laughed.

But focusing on the woman again, Ben smirked. Yup, just being brilliant. "No, you don't Roxanne," Ben kind of made a sour face when she drank her drink, but he continued, "I'm good, eh?"

Oh, boy. Here came Evander Kickstand with his wife and cane. Bravo, sir. Ben tried to catch his attention with a wave. ooc: Just roll with it, The Detective was an acting liaison with other ministries during the downfall (though he'd MUCH rather have stayed and fought in his coup), but someone had to do it. But since, they haven't had a proper conversation. That Monday would be fun.

Lily nodded, "I'm sure you can just imagine the sort of things that happen in that Hospital Wing." She'd LOVED it there, but she wouldn't go back now, there were things more important in her life. If she were single and not a mother, she probably would have spent the rest of her life at Hogwarts happily.

"You have a son? How lovely! How old is he?" She did so enjoy the look on a mother's face when they spoke about their child. Lily often had that look, she knew. "I have a son as well, his name is Brysen."

Awww. Lily smiled again at the young girl when she curtsied. Lily had never given much thought to what it would be like if she had a daughter of her own, but if she ever did, she would like her to be like Neptune Bott. She was such an adorable girl, so pretty and proper. Lovely.

"You're looking very beautiful tonight." Lily totally approved of the dress, and she saw no problems with it at all. It was beautiful! "What have you been up to since graduation?"

Lily patted Van's arm once before she let go. She knew that he would be alright standing on his own for a little bit. She whispered to him that she would be back and then smiled at the others who had gathered around the small group, "Please excuse me." And to the new Department Head, she added, "Inez, I hope I will be able to speak with you later?" She felt bad leaving the woman in the middle of conversation and she WAS interested in hearing about her son.

"Now dear." Lily started, offering her arm to Neptune so that the girl could appear to have no choice in the matter, "Tell me about school." She smiled at the two, "And Legend, how is your training going?" Hmmm? She started walking. Maybe they would get the hint and follow.

Nicole thought for a moment "Maybe, I think so at the wedding?" She turned Jason and smiled at him. "It's nice to meet you as well!" she blushed a little when Jason kissed her hand and said, "Your to sweet." after a pause Nicole added, "This is Robert. Robert this is Melanie and Jason." Nicole hopped she got Melanie's name right..

Robert held his hand out to shake Jason's and kiss Melanie's. "It's nice to meet you both," He said with a smile on his face.


Nicole smiled and said, "I'm one of the Wizarding British Immigration Officers, but it couldn't be as fun as an ambassador!" Nicole smiled and giggled a little. Oh what will Robert say...



Robert smiled and said, "Well I have two jobs. I work at the bank my family has had forever and passes it down when the first son is old enough, or of age. But on the weekdays I would as a teacher for the morning kindgarend teacher." what could he do if they guessed if he was a muggle? Hopefully they wouldn't say much... He smiled to cover up the fear he held inside of him.

"You're just glib," Cade gave his arm a pat. He wasn't at all. If Helo said something, he was entirely sincere. She appreciated that about him. "I'd much rather head in and find seats, but perhaps we should say hello to Mr. Bole. That's my boss over there."

She gestured toward Van across the way. "You know... since I'm behind on my schmooooooozing." She may have twinkled at him a bit.

Iridesca walked into the Entrance Hall slowly. She was excited and nervous all at the same time. She had to admit that she was truly excited that the whole Cult and craziness at the Ministry was over. The blue haired woman had never really wanted to take sides in the whole fiasco, but the whole thing just stressed her out....so much that she left her position as department head over it.

She shook her head slightly and pushed the thoughts out of her head focusing on every little detail of the event. She opened her little silver clutch purse and pulled out a little camera that she always took to all of the events and parties that she attended. No it wasn't to take pictures of the people, she was going to take pictures of the decorations, table settings, and centerpieces and anything else that caught her event planning mind.

She also took her lip gloss out of her purse and made her lips shiny once again and then headed into the party quickly.

To Nicole, "Oh i bet it is as fun as Iza's job." He smiled, "Sounds better than mine defintely." He laughed and to Robert, "Bank and teacher? Sounds very fulfilling." Adam smiled, leaving his arm on Elizabeth's shoulders despite her slight annoyance with it.
Elizabeth smiled and chuckled, "Nicole, your job sounds as much fun as mine." She smiled a little bigger. Elizabeth loved her job. Her job fits her. SHe loves talking to people, traveling and languages and she gets to do all three of them as an ambassador.
"You three have interesting and fun jobs while i am only a shopkeeper...." He decided not to say anything more about what he sold though since Elizabeth would probably have a fit. "So how are you two?"

Nicole laugh and said, "Hardly." Nicole looked at Robert and asked, "What is your job?"

Nicole giggled a little at Elizabeth and said, "I think really anyones job in are part is fun. I always dreamed of working in a place we do, Wizarding world or not." Even as just being a Wizarding British Immigration Officers, it was something out of America, out of the country and culture.

Nicole turned to Adam as he started talking, and this answered Nicole's question. A shopkeeper? Sounds kinda fun though, meeting new people everyday. Smiling Nicole said, "I'm good, just been a little busy without work for that long period of time from the stike."



Robert smiled a little and said, "Yes it is. It keeps me busy." He felt a little better then he did before he answered the question.

Robert looked at Adam and said agreeign with Nicole, "Yeah we have been busy. Visiting family and planning a wedding." Robert couldn't believe after a year and half of dating Nicole they were finally getting married. He really thanked Nicole's friend Lily for setting them up!

"Oh there was a strike?" Adam raised his eyebrows in surpise, "Well i hope all is better now." Adam nodded, "Congrats on the engagement." He smiled.
Elizabeth smiled and laughed and talking about the everyone one's job is part fun thingy, "I agree with that." She nodded.
Adam tried to avoid looking at ELizabeth for a little bit sensing she was uncomfortable with him right now.

Nicole smiled and said, "Yes everything is better.. I believe this is why we have this ball, am I right Elizabeth?" She couldn't remember. Nicole loved parties so after she read there was all ball, where it was at and what time that was it, she couldn't remember anything else.
Both Robert and Nicole smiled and said at the same time, "Thank you."
Nicole chuckled a bit and said, "I heard that there was a replacement to for the Ministry going on. I thought about it for a while, but then realized I don't think I could change jobs. I love mine too much." Looking at Adam and Elizabeth and noticed they weren't really talking that much. Was somthing wrong?
Robert looked at Adam. He felt a little akward about standing there being silent, so he said, "Have you ever worked at the Ministry before? I never have, I would probably like to sometime.. but no." He almost gave away he was a muggle, but cut himself somewhat short.

Rex was about to lead Gina over to where Alexander and Hecate were standing but the crowd around the new Minister was growing thicker.

"Perhaps we can schmooze with them while eating," he suggested and nodded over towards the buffet table. "Shall we, Gina?" He gently guided her by the arm over towards the buffet table.

Elizabeth nodded, "That is the reason why."
"Your welcome." He nodded to them both. "That is good that you love your job, Nicole.
Elizabeth laughed, "Yeah i heard about that. I love being an ambassador too much to consider it."
To answer Robert, "No i haven't. I refuse to work for a government. I've left that up to my Iza here." He smiled and squeezed Elizabeth's shoulder.

Aw, seemed like Ben was going to miss his girlfriend… Yea, Roxi saw that little flicker of emotion……

Turning to see what he suddenly found so funny, she spotted the Gopher Armen Recard. Dressed as a waiter. Waiting on people. And she started laughing, too.

Smirking at his sour look, she took another sip. "Well, I think most people would actually call it stalking…" she replied. Which was, of course, bad. Real bad…

Looking to she who he was waving at, Roxi spotted the bossman and who she assumed was the new Mrs. Bole. They look really lovely tonight, she thought adding her own small wave.

Nicole smiled and said, "Good, thanks!" Nicole turned to Adam and said, "Yeah I'm happy I didn't get stuck somewhere I'd hate.."
Nicole giggled a little and said, "Maybe in a few years." Nicole loved doing new things, so maybe when she got a bit tired with her job she would try to change.
Nicole looked over at Adam and heard him say, ' his Iza.' huh? Nicole didn't want to be nossy though..
Robert nodded his head and said, "Thats one of the reasons I choose not to. I don't want to get into it too much, it fries my brain."

Elizabeth's smile tighten slightly. She did NOT like to be reminded of their past. and how dare he call her his. She had half of a mind to punch him but just clinched her fists. "Yeah i might reconsider a change in a few years if i decide to stay in the ministry here instead of transferring to some other ministry."
Adam didn't noticed that Elizabeth clinched her fists. "Yeah, i don't really like authority too much." Especially since i am in dark magic business.....

Nicole looked down to see Elizabeth clinch her fists. Looking up she ignored it a little and said, "Yeah that what I don't really want to do." Nicole looked over at Adam when he said something about dark magic dark magic? Nicole wondered a little about Adam. Nicole then looked over at Robert in wonder of what they were talking about.
Robert nodded his head and said, "Really, Dark Magic?" Robert didn't know anything about magic, but dark magic didn't sound good!
Nicole looked away from Robert, he took the unsaid words about of her mouth...

Adam kept calm.... at least on the surface. He rpetended to wrinkle up his nose, "What is this nonsense about dark magic?" Can he read minds???
Elizabeth nodded to Nicole, "Yeah." She looked at Robert then at Adam, "What is this about dark magic?" She raised an eyebrow at the two men.

Wes hehheh'd a bit at Miss Kaufman's continued scolding of Legend but he did hold out his hand to her. "Not many men could, but did you hear of how Legend here helped capture the Cultist Ren Sakura? He even kept watch over one of our own Ministry employees who had gone to the dark side..."

He leaned in to whisper!add, "you might have noticed him waiting on everyone here." That's right, Recard, we ARE talking you down to the foreign dignitaries. And Wes WAS bragging on the young YETI a bit. The kid deserved a break on a celebratory day such as this.

The discomfort was worth it? Wes wasn't exactly sure about that, but he did mumble a, "Thanks thanks," to his girlfriend as they walked away from the gopher.

They would definitely be needing multiple copies of any photos they took this evening, especially if Wesley was planning on burning the tuxedo as soon as he got out of it. Or maybe even before. Ugh. It was STIFLING.

"Oh, thank you, Lilyan." Wes turned away from Izzy to flash a smile at another gorgeous blonde. "Same to you, same to you."

Everyone really DID look good, even if he was being tortured in this tux right now. "We should get a GROUP picture. All of the MLE, eh Van?" He tugged at his bowtie again awkwardly.

"Pleasure to meet you too, Miss Bott." Wes dipped his head respectfully toward her, since his hand was still extended toward the American MC.

"Yes, that rare, rare card, first edition." Wes echoed Legend with a solemn nod. "If only those dratted uppity Lord Tootfaces hadn't stopped him. I do believe the one that ended up filibustering to keep the bill from passing was an ancestor of Lord Borr."

Fascinating subject, history was. Wesley had studied it quite a bit at university.
