Danielle had just walked through the wall and was now making her way through the platform, searching for her friends or at least someone she knew. Josephine had to be around here, they were going to sit together at the wagon after all, but with all the crowd of people she couldn't find her nor joseph.
"You're welcome," Kurum smiled as she watched Skye eat one of her homemade cookies. "Not to worry, there are plenty of sweets on the food trolley. I recommend the licorice wands." Kurumi sat silently, giving the first year her undivided attention. "Actually, Arthimancy is perhaps my other favorite subject." She simply couldn't decide between it and Care of Magical Creatures. "Of course I will help. Even if we are not sorted into the same house, I can help you in the library instead of the common room." And then came a whole bunch of questions at once and Kurumi couldn't help but giggle. "Each class gives you homework," she nodded. "The food is fantastic. The house elves are always busy at work preparing things. I go down to the kitchens sometimes in my free time to bake cookies and they are always very accommodating."
"wow you baked the cookies yourself there really nice" replyed skye. "thankyou its really nice of you to help me and im looking forward to trying the food, wow house elves i didnt no they made the food." skye had her mouth open she cudnt belive all the new things that was going to be at hogwarts " its like been in another world" said skye.

Sage had just said good bye to her older brother and younger siblings and had been wandering around the platform. She was struggling with her trunk and owl when she accidently bumped into a young girl talking to an older one.
"Oof!" Sage looked to see what she had bumped into, "Oh Geez! I'm so sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going at all!"
Sage smiled sheepishly...
skye was still talking to karum when another girl bumped into her. skye turned round "are you ok?" as karum was trying to help her. skye introduced herself to the girl "hi im skye is it you first year too?"

"I like it when you're annoying." she said as she turned back to look at him. She did her best to smile at him but it was a little bit wobbly. "And we'll have Christmas and Spring Break." So it won't be too bad. She hoped.
Letting go of his hand, Mia reached up and grasped his shirt with her hands and pulled him to her. Tipping her head forward, her lips found his and it started with a light brush before she closed her eyes and deepened the kiss.
After a few moments, she pulled back, letting go of his shirt. "When I get on the train, I want you to leave straight away." Her bravado was starting to falter and if he stayed any longer, she was going to lose it completely.
Taking a step backwards, Mia pressed two of her fingers to her lips. "I love you." Anothet two steps and she could feel the train door at her back. She lifted a foot and stepped onto the train, never taking her eyes off him.
"Always."
Yeah, Mia was only saying that now. They had only spent a few months together non-stop. He doubted she would still be saying that when they had to spend years together. Of course, he hoped he really didn't annoy her. Nikolai smiled, despite the look on her face. He hated to see her that way, but he really could not let her leave school. "And I promise to write to you. Every week." Because if it were everyday, he'd annoy her even faster.
He glanced down at his hand when she let it go, and if she hadn't quickly pressed her lips against his, he would have frowned. He wasn't ready to let her go. But the kiss had him forgetting that, for the moment at least, and placing his hands onto her cheeks, he kissed her back.
There was a smile on his face, though, as she pulled away, and he nodded his head when she spoke, not really knowing what she was saying. Until she started to back away from him and he felt his smile disappear slowly as he watched her. He still wasn't ready to let her go, but if she didn't get on at that moment, she probably wouldn't have gotten on at all.
"I love you, too." he said, and not really knowing what to do with himself, he just kind of stood there, watching as she took that step onto the train. "And forever."

Kurumi jumped to her feet when she saw another younger student stumble.
"A-Are you alright?" she asked as her violet eyes scanned her for any visible scraps or anything. The platform was becoming more and more crowded as it became closer and closer to it being time for the Hogwarts Express to depart.
"Here, let me help you with your cage."

Awkward at first but then after awhile Jonathan tried to forget and became sober about. Heck, they both even joked about it sometimes. And finally Jonathan realized that his feelings for her were more of short-term. Infatuation or whatever it is they call it. "Yeah, Ravenclaw girl" he nodded. "It's okay. We're both friends again." they are thankfully.
OKAY.
No crying. It might look like Jonathan is bullying her or something.
Jonathan smiled and tapped her shoulder for comfort. "Everything's going to be okay." that's what Ayumi always told him. Everything will be unfold anyway. "Give this one some space and when you guys are ready to maybe talk. Then talk about it." situations like this should be carefully done. Time heals and giving someone some space to think is definitely appropriate, especially Treyen. Like she said, he kinda hates her right? Sooner or later he'll talk "He'll come around Kurumi. Don't worry"
So maybe Jonathan is not big with words. He didn't quite grow up in a family full of emotions. Giving out advice is not his forte but he likes to help. Jonathan was in the same situation as Kurumi before.
Both friends again, that sounded nice and like a far off dream that Kurumi had no chance of actually reaching. She wanted to tell Jonathan that he didn't know what he was talking about. He hadn't seen the look the Hufflepuff had given her or the tone in which he had spoken to her. He hadn't seemed THAT upset after she had told him, he had even hugged her, gave her words of encouragement. Tried to make her not feel like her small world had just come to an end.
Just like Jonathan was doing now...
"I miss him," she said softly. "And n-n-not in the way I expected I would. I miss him as a friend." She sighed softly and leaned her head against Jonathan's shoulder.
Something...something must have happened between the time they had spoken in the Trophy Room and the end of the term feast. Whatever it was, she needed to figure it out.
"I...I hope so..." she said shyly. "We are prefects together and I would hate for the group's dynamics to be ruined because of me."
Her hands flew to her mouth and her eyes widened.
Merlin. She had said it out loud. Selina was going to beat her with a Beater's bat now.

"It really is, especially if you haven't been around magic all your life." That had certainly been the case for Kurumi. Two weeks before the train departed and BOOM, there was her letter telling her she was a witch.

"Nothing to be sorry about," Kurumi reassured the younger girl as she gingerly took hold of the cage. The forth year felt relieved that Walnut was currently fast asleep in his wicker basket. Being around an owl right now certainly would not produce good results. "Your owl is lovely. I don't have one of my own, I keep a cat. Or rather...he keeps me."
The muchkin cat certainly felt as though he were King of Everything.
Kurumi remained silent for a moment as the two first years got acquainted. "Nice to meet you Sage," Kurumi smiled with a bow. "I'm Kurumi, Kurumi Hollingberry. I'm a forth year this coming term and Gryffindor's female prefect. Skye and I were just discussing Hogwarts if you would like to join. I'm happy to answer any questions." She glanced at the train that looked as though its doors would be unlocked soon to allow luggage and students aboard. "If we run out of time, we can continue our conversation on the train as well."
She reached around for her tin of cookies. Cookies always calmed nerves, right?
"Feel free to take one," she continued, offering Sage the tin.

Jonathan knows how that feels like. After confessing and getting mad and not talking to each other for months, that's the worse. But of course, he's not going to tell her that. She needs encouraging words not phrases that will trauma her for life. She going to a fourth year this year and she'll be much stronger than she was.
"Yeah... you'll learn how to miss him as a friend" Jonathan sigh. For that was the worse thing that could ever happen to a relationship with a friend. Missing the way you two used to be. The things you would laugh about and the things that make you dislike someone. It'll be sad when you're alone and not being able to talk to anyone.
Jonathan felt Kurumi's hand on his shoulder. He can feel the sadness in her voice. The yearning to make up for Treyen. As tempting as the obliviate spell be, this was no laughing matter. Jonathan can't just joke nor tease about this. So he put his arm around her, trying to comfort her...
...But then she uttered out something that stiffened Jonathan. His eyes beaming and looking at her. "You're the new prefect of Gryffindor?" he smiled. "Bloody hell, this is awesome news, Kurumi" Jonathan hugged her. Despite of their topic earlier, which they can just go back, this one just calls for a celebration. SHE SHOULDN'T BE SAD AT ALL.

You need to go.
Merlin.
It shouldn't have been so hard to say goodbye to Mia. They had been through the same thing before, and it wasn't like she was going to be away from him forever. But the look on her face made it seem that way, and that was what Nikolai was reacting to.
He really didn't want to leave. He wanted to go up to her and kiss the tears that were so visibly forming in her eyes away.
Maybe it would have been easier if she left while they were angry at eachother.
"I'll see you soon." he murmured, and raising his hand in a farewell, he took her in for a moment before turning and making his way off the platform.

"See you." she whispered, waving her hand in goodbye and watched as he turned and walked towards the platform's exit. It was only then that she finally felt the hot tears slide down her cheeks and she stumbled her way into the nearest empty compartment.

Kurumi closed her eyes, just a for a moment, when Jonathan rested his arm around her. If felt nice...warm...just what she needed at the moment.
She was beginning to think that perhaps she should have spent more time home this summer. Time with her brothers that she desperately needed. Sure, the three of them often caused more trouble than it was worth, but she never felt like an outcast. Never felt judged. Never felt like she had to prove something when she was with them. She could just be herself. No other expectations. Not to mention that all three of them gave fantastic hugs.
Not to say that she regretted her choices for the summer. Her exchange in New York had been fantastic, and she had really enjoyed getting to know Vickers. Then there was the fantasy week she had spent with Conan in Orlando. Her summer had been great, but she was missing her family already.
Not the best way to start off the year.
Just as she found a comfortable place, she felt Jonathan's body go all rigid under her. In the next instant, he was hugging her and she felt her cheeks fully flush and tried to think of something dull like grass growing to prevent her hair from doing something to embarrass her more.
"I...uh....I...um..." she stammered. Looked like there was no denying it now. When she was able to wiggle her hand free, she reached into her pocket to pull out the small crimson badge she had been sent over the summer. "Y-Yes."

"I am sure there is something that you like to do that could be considered a hobby," Kurumi nodded. "Having an interest in animals for example." Kurumi's eyes widened when Skye mentioned a hamster. She was even more glad now that Walnut was asleep. She hate to see what her cat would do with one of those adorable rodents around. Her posture slouched a bit when Skye explained that the hamster would not be attending Hogwarts. "I've never kept a hamster before. I have a cat now, and a pygmy puff though."

"Do you come from a long line of Gryffindors then?"

So yes, she finally confirms it. She looked a bit embarrassed and at the same time why to tell Jonathan. She probably haven't told anyone yet. But nevertheless, Jonathan is still hugging her and boy, he feels like bouncing. Jonathan's not good with expressing his emotions when it comes to sadness. Might come from his father's side of the family, considering that they grew up with a strict father.
Prefect... "I knew it" he let go this time. She could use some breath. "I was betting always that you'd become a prefect or head girl" Jonathan said. It's true, he does look at Kurumi as the prefect or head girl type. She does fit the part. The only thing she should work on is probably her ability to be confident with herself and is not afraid to 'boss' people sometime. Not in a bad way but in a more civilized kind of way. Prefects also have their reputation so Kurumi should be more... hmmm... fierce? Is that the word.
"Congratulations..." he smiled at the Gryffindor. Jonathan looked at the badge she held out. It looked shiny and cute. Wow. That's really nice.
"I only speak the truth," Alice said with a matter of fact smile, but she was glad to see that her words had meant a lot to her. Lexi was definitely Alice's biggest mentor, and she wanted to make sure that her mentor have the confidence to do everything that Alice knew she was capable of.
Now it was Alice's turn to blush as Lexi complimented her wizarding skills. "Thank you Lexi, it really means a lot," she said with a smile. "Perhaps when you come to visit you can teach me more of your spiffy tricks like the ones you taught me this year outside." Alice still remembered all the useful spells, both playful and practical that Lexi had taught her out by the tree on the grounds and in the Girls Common Room. Alice did miss those dates terribly, and she hoped they could have another one, even if it wasn't possible for it to be at Hogwarts.
Alice couldn't keep the laughs in as she pictured Salander being chased around the house by Lexi's owl. "Poor Salander!! The boy must be cursed or something," Alice said with another fit of laughter. Given how nice and kind Salander was she still wasn't sure how he had landed in Slytherin, but the sorting hat worked in mysterious ways she supposed. Honestly, she really hoped that Salander came in time for her to at least say hello to him before him and Lexi had to board the train.
Alice gave a mischievous smile. "Well, perhaps I won't hold my breath, but I will definitely be sitting around pondering it a lot until the letter comes." There were so many possibilities of what the news could be that Alice was sure there was no way that she would guess the right one.
Again Lexi felt an overwhelming surge of pride and thanks for her little friend. She WAS so kind and unfaltering in her confidence in Lexi. It meant a lot to have cheerleaders when she felt so out of place sometimes. Smiling sheepishly she said, "Thanks." Was it sufficient? No probably not.
Oooooh! "I will teach you all kinds of awesome stuff. I have been practicing at home, spending all of my free time at school doing spell work... It's very Ravenclaw of me." She gave more giggles and turned her nose up haughtily. Cracking up she looked back at Alice and winked. "I will come up with all sorts of fun things to teach you, though."
"Holidays have been interesting," she said with a chuckle. They HAD been interesting that was for sure. Hehe. "We got attacked by a flock of seagulls in Greece. So with that being said... he may be cursed."
Lexi just hugged Alice at that point. She kind of clung to the younger girl, to be honest about it. Heh. "Alice I am going to miss you so much this term. You have no idea."

"Well, the pygmy in all those means the same thing, miniature," Kurumi giggled. "But, a pygmy puff is a miniature Puffskein." She paused for a moment, unsure if Skye had heard about those or not. "They are an especially fluffy magical creature." Kurumi found herself nodding as Skye continued to talk about her pet. Kurumi often missed her family's shiba dog while away at Hogwarts, but at least she had Walnut. "Well, you have your owl and if you want to you can play with Momotaro sometimes." Momotaro being Kurumi's pygmy puff that is.

Kurumi almost felt...sad? when Jonathan let go. However, she did appreciate the gesture seeing as she was starting to turn a bit purple, and not because of her metamorphagus abilities, but due to the lack of oxygen. Jonathan certainly was a firm hugger.
"T-T-Thank you," Kurumi blushed, bowing her head. "I nearly fainted when I received the letter with the badge in it. Father looked like he had died and gone to heaven." And she had had to hide his quills for weeks to prevent him from writing a full spread article in the Daily Prophet about it. "I hope I don't let people down..."

Wow. Being a prefect. That's something Jonathan's father would love for him to be. But NAH! Jonathan's too lazy. Awesome to be a prefect but they're always bigger responsibilities. And as much as he wants to act like a Snake (ambitious and cunning), he doesn't want to.
"You'll do great" Jonathan complimented her. Of course she'll do great. "You're the most responsible person I know" he added a laugh. Jonathan doesn't have much friends in the higher years. He usually have friends younger than him or the same age as he does.
Whoah. "Hope you won't be too strict" he looked at Kurumi. Jonathan seems to be more excited about this. Now, he can't wait to go back to Hogwarts.

"thats really nice of you, i love his name is he playfull? annd do you have anything that i can read about them it be nice to a little bit more" replyed skye. ....great some more magical creatures i can learn about. skye thought.
"N-N-No need to make a big deal out of it," Kurumi replied waving her arms around only slightly frantically. She knew she would have to start getting used to this reaction, the whole wide eyed and bushy tail sort whenever she mentioned her prefectness, but she really didn't want people to think that much differently of her. "Do you come from a long line of Gryffindors then?"
"Yup, from my mom's side of the family," Sage informed Kurumi. It was nice to talk to someone who knew about Hogwarts. "So, at Hogwarts are the teachers hard?"

Now Kurumi was feeling even more nervous in regards to her being a prefect. The expectations were already rather high, and Jonathan had said it himself. People viewed her as being responsible and on top of everything. She certainly hadn't felt like she had been recently. "I'll give it my best," she nodded. It was nice knowing that others had confidence in her.
"Only when it comes to you," she teased sticking her tongue out.
What? Someone had to make sure that he studied properly for his OWLs, right?

"Momotaro is pretty relaxed," Kurumi explained. This was mostly due to Walnut terrorizing the poor thing for a good portion of the first few months she had had him. "I don't have any books, but I am sure there are plenty in the Hogwarts library that you can check out."

"My father was in Gryffindor, as were two of my brothers, but one was in Ravenclaw," Kurumi mused. It must be nice to have a strong family line tied to a house. Kurumi had no clue what her father's side of the family had been in. Well, that was sort of a lie. She knew that there had been no Charles Hollingberry to grace the corridors of Hogwarts.
But she was getting distracted in her own thoughts when she should be focusing on the first year in front of her.
"Some are certainly stricter than others," Kurumi said gently. "Unfortunately, two of my favorite professors will not be returning this coming term, so I cannot recommend their classes. I do recommend Professor Hadley and Professor Bentley's classes though. Professor Bentley teaches Arithmancy and Professor Bentley teaches Herbology."
She would recommend Headmaster Tate, but she wasn't sure if he would return to teaching this term. She certainly missed his Defense Against the Dark Arts lessons.

Blink. NOOOOOOOO!!!!
"Really?" Jonathan raised his eyebrow but still kept smiling. The idea of Kurumi being strict to Jonathan is just slightly weird and perhaps, different. Jonathan felt amused by that thought. Hey, maybe she could pull out a really scary look when she's strict. You know, like the ones Lafay give during Potions class. It will be classic. No, EPIC!
"Well if you have to be like that then maybe I should keep making you laugh" or maybe blush. Kurumi does blush a lot, which is cute and really adorable. Jonathan grinned. Ohhh, fifth year. Hope it doesn't make him too busy.

"Arithmancy, that's like math, right?" Sage said scrunching up her nose. Sage had been homeschooled by her mother and her and math never got along very well. Her owl, Grimm hooted restlessly from her cage. Sage dung around in her pocket before throwing an owl treet into the cage.

"EEEEEEEEEEE!"
Having squealed her way through the barriers, Kita ran down to the south end of the platform. Pfft! There's no way she was going to sit at the front end of the train. No. She was going to party at the back end of the train with her friends and her chocolates.
Ok, maybe that's a lie.
She walked along the platform, looking around for a familiar face. They had to be somewhere nearby right? There's no way she was going to make her last journey to Hogwarts on her own. Or maybe she could make a new friend...? That would be nice as well.

Kurumi laughed. The eyebrow raise had both been expected and unexpected. Kurumi had only ever been cross with someone once. Okay, maybe a few times, but there was really only one time when she had felt genially upset and that had been when William had accused her of not being a true Gryffindor and that Gryffindors never went to the library. It had all ended up being some sort of ridiculous mind game in the end, and Kurumi was not amused.
"That shouldn't be too hard," she smiled. Jonathan always seemed to be able to make her smile. "As long as you behave and study, I'll be sure to give you cookies." And now it sounded like she was turning Jonathan into a crup or something.

"Well, there is certainly calculations involved," Kurumi nodded. "But it is closely tied to Divination. There are numbers that reveal your true heart's desire, your character, your life path, all sorts of different things." Kurumi was beginning to wish that she hadn't packed her notes away at the bottom of one of her trunks so she could pull them out and show the first year. "It might sound intimidating, but it really isn't all that bad."

'KITA,' Daist shouted happily over the noise of the platform. Kita, although starting her 7th year, was a friend of Daisy who was currently alone.
Running with her trolley, Daisy caught up with Kita.
'Hi,' she smiled, panting a little from the weight of her trolley. 'How was your summer?'
