Lexi couldn't deny it... she was slightly disappointed... she LOVED hugs so much. Poking her bottom lip out slightly she made a pouty face at her little friend and shook her head. He was SOOO going to get tackleglomped later. Heh.
"Okay... later then just so you know," she whispered back to him in a tone a bit more than a whisper. She was soooo not letting him get away with REFUSING to hug her in public.
Turning her pout back into a beaming smile she bounced a bit happily and said, "It's lovely to see you as well, Tom. How have you been? How did you enjoy Diagon Alley? I am really sorry I haven't been around to show you about. Holiday ran over a bit and then I had things to tend to at home." Yes... this was all said in one breath. Hehe. Gulping down some air she smiled wider still and bounced a bit more.
Following Tom's gaze to Sal she shook her head causing her blonde hair to whip around a bit. "You are not intruding or interrupting, Tom. This is my... this is Salander and this is Alice... I reckon I have mentioned Salander to you more than a few times, yeah? He is Head Boy of Hogwarts this term." Formal introductions out of the way and all.
Tom frowned a little. Now he felt a bit bad for not greeting the girl in a more friendly manner. He smiled a little and nodded his head in agreement to her whispered words. He could manage a hug in private.
Lexi seemed excited. Tom wasn't sure whether it was seeing him, or the prospect of returning to the magic school that was making her bouncy. The excited energy radiating off her made him nervous and twitchy and he fidgeted with his wand which was still in his hand. “Yeah, I'm good fanks, Lexi.” He replied with a nod, trying his best to sound cool and casual. He shrugged his shoulders. “Dun' worry 'bou' it.” He replied to her apology. “I got everyfin' I need I fink. Me wand.” He held it up to show her. That was THE most important thing, right? “Ain' been able to do anyfin' wiff it yet mind.” He added. “Me maagic's still only showin' itself when I lose me tempah.” Which, fortunately... or unfortunately, depending on how you looked at it, was quite often.
"Did you 'av a nice 'oliday?” he asked brighter, tilting his head and looking at the girl curiously as she bounced some more. He was beginning to relax a little thanks to the company and conversation.
“It's Broadmoor.” He corrected when introduced as Tom. EVERYONE back home called him by his last name. He looked up at the older boy and nodded his head. “Yeah... 'eard a lot abou' you, Salandah. Nice tah finally meechah.” Although the Head Boy thing was news to the young lad. Instant dislike. Coppahs, teachers, people in authoritative positions were all bad in Tom's book. He frowned and looked away and at the other girl whom Lexi was introducing. “'Ello, Alice.” He greeted her with a nod of the head and a small polite smile.
Sky turned to see that her parents and Niles (their butler/chauffeur) had followed her just like they said they would. She took her trunk from Niles. "Thank you for carrying this for me." "Oh, it was no problem, Ms. Sky." "Be good, Sky," her mom said, crying. "We'll see you next summer." "Don't let anyone give you any crap," her father told her.
"Of course not, Dad," she replied, hugging him. "I'll miss you guys," she added, giving her mom a teary hug and shaking Niles' hand.
Sky started dragging her trunk on it's wheels towards the train, looking for a friendly face to share a compartment with. I hope I don't have to sit alone. Everyone my age has already found someone, looks like.
Chloe hugged her mother and father as she walked to the train, her older brother and sister had ran ahead of her so she was on her own
"bye mam bye dad" she said in her irish accent
They waved happily at her as her mother sobbed quietly with a smile she was happy but a bit sad to see her last child go to hogwarts.
As she got onto the train she hoped she would find another first year to sit with she was very nervous but equally excitted
*I* want to hug Tom's head! :D ..Alice and Sal as well

YAY! She was taking that nod as a confirmation that hugs would come later. At some point. He would LOVE Lexi hugs because they were only the GREATEST hugs in the whole wide world. It was a fact... well if that wasn't true then they damn well should be the BEST. She would have to look into that. Hmmmm.
"OOOOH! You got your wand. Isn't it exciting?!" she nearly squealed as she tugged at the hem of her dress in a most childlike fashion. She remembered the day she got her first wand. Now it had been her most prized possession until... well she had a new one now and it had worked WONDERS for her. "Don't you worry your head about that magic. We will have you fixed up in no time at all. Trust me. I am told that I am a fabulous teacher," she said with a grin in Alice's direction. "I will teach you something really basic that you can practice until you get more confidence."
BOUNCEBOUNCEBOUNCEBOUNCE! "It was the most glorious holiday ever. It was... for lack of a better word, MAGICAL," she gushed as she now turned her head toward Sal and gave him a little wink, too. Hehe. "I will show you pictures and all when we get to school. OH. Would you like to share a compartment with Salander and I on the train? You are more than welcome to. And Rufus loves new people," she said as she noticed the little marmoset clinging to her leg, but looking at Tom and pointing. Hehe.
CLIIIIIIIING!
Rufus needed ATTENTION. NEEDED IT, I SAY!
He stood peeking around his owner's legs and pointing at the newcomer. He knew Alice and Sal , but this one was NEW.
Cue the cute monkey chattering and pointing.
Didn't the boy GET IT? Rufus wanted attention... and for someone to hold him.

"So Gideon of Gryffindor, tell me something completely random about yourself."
Gideon raised a curious eyebrow as she nudged him in the shoulder. "Sounds like a plan," he mused his smile turning into a smirk as he playfully returned the gesture careful not to be too rough.
"My favorite creature used to be monkeys," he finally answered with a chuckle. That was pretty random...he could have added the story about getting into the monkey enclosure when he was 5 but he wasn't sure of the response he'd get to that. "Canna be certain what it is now since we know of so much more through class."

She raised her eyebrow at Gideon when he nudged her back. That was pathetic, she knew Hufflepuff's with a tougher nudge. Maybe he was one of those passive types.
"Monkeys?" Selina smiled. That had to be the best answer she had ever heard to that question. Monkeys were not exactly an animal that she thought about often, so the fact that she had met someone who loved monkeys was kind of awesome. "I have to admit, that is a really awesome animal. And a really awesome answer. But I have to agree with you on the other thing, we know so many cool creatures it's hard. I guess mine would have to be hippocampus."

Sky spotted a girl about her age getting onto the train ahead of her.
"Hi! I'm Sky," she said, holding her hand out for a handshake. "Do you mind if I sit with you?"
Was it a good idea to call the girl's attention.. She seemed not liking it. Uh-oh .
But.. "Your name's also Violet ?" she mumbled, amazed. Then, facing the other Violet "Vi ! You've got yourself a twin !"
Really, Beatrice was enjoying this, Who would've thought ? But really, a twin Beezus ? she asked herself mentally.
"Well , you know .. it's reallyyyyyyy .. cute." That was a matter of fact !
Being just a little bit shocked, she looked eye to eye with her violet eyes to the other Violet and then she replied,
"Wow, awesome! Don't tell me your birthday is on the 21st day of February that will really be creepy... Oh, just kidding! Well, at least we're not so alone any more... So, the three of us are first years huh?"
Then Violet looked over to Sage, and said
"Hi there! Sorry didn't hear you that much because of the noise..."

Not that one was really any better than the other.
"I still have a lot to learn, but I did manage to catch the snitch in my first match," she smiled weakly.

Josephine thanked her few lucky stars and kept her voice sweet "I am fine, are you happy for Hogwarts?" she asked gently.
"Ok, I'm bring my pet Phoenix, Helios. My Mother gave him to Me. He's a family pet, passed down for generations. they live along time, Phoenix's. We can leave him in the common room and if We need to get back fast He can fly us to the observation tower!" Maxwell was very excited about this adventure...very happy indeed.

"Still thinking," Jordan said, keeping one of his arms around her shoulders. "If only she was a male owl, then I could have a barn owl named Barney!" he joked.
"I still think Merlina is the best name ever!" Faina sang, "Or! OR! You could name her Jasmine and call her Jazz! Eh?! Eh?!"

"You're kidding !" she exclaimed, her eyes widening with excitement.
Great uncles ? Yeah ? Who would've thought ? No, seriously.. She totally likes the twins ! Beatrice just can't help thinking that because she met this student, she would somehow have the chance to meet the legendary twins .. "No, reallyyyyyyyy ?" she asked, shaking her head.

Smiling widely, she told the girl, "You are right. I never thought I'd knew so many friends here in South End ."
Really, she thought she was gonna be alone from the moment her aunt left her until she arrives at Hogwarts. But no, here she is.. talking to some of the most amazing people she could think of.
"You know Vi.. or. . is it okay to call you Vi ? " "There are actually five of us now.. Sage, Violet and Violet, Ronnie and Beezus... I hope I counted that right. " she said, chuckling .
Erin arrived at King's Cross station. Surprisingly, she was accompanied by her rather busy father that didn't even cared about how she would get to go to London at Diagon Alley to accumulate her things. Mr. Heyman, she noticed is slightly tearing down, one thing she's never seen like him before. Well, as usual, Christina her sister is crying like mad. She's really close to Erin, they're inseparable. And now, she's leaving and will never get back until the end of June.
"Dad," she muttered as he wiped his tears with a handkerchief.
"You take care of yourself there. Write as often as possible. Your sister'll be sad. Okay?" said Mr Heyman.
She started tearing down as well then answered, "I will." Christina couldn't say a word, she's crying so hard, "I-I l-love y-you, sissy!"
"Yeah, I know, I know."
She hugged them one more time, then headed toward a barrier between Platform nine and ten which heads to Platform nine and three quarters. She knew what to do at once. One of her friends she met at Diagon Alley told her. She leaned forward the barrier for some time then when no one's watching apart from her family, she pushed her trunk hard toward the barrier.
Sky spotted a girl about her age getting onto the train ahead of her.
"Hi! I'm Sky," she said, holding her hand out for a handshake. "Do you mind if I sit with you?"
Chloe looked around at the girl and gave a small smile "hey Im chloe and no I dont mind at all" she said happily as she was glad to see some one "you a first year too sky?" she asked her polietly as they boarded the train

"Oh yeah you're right... hehe

Quidditch! Now this is a good topic to tack about! Sage was absolutly in love with it!
You like quidditch?" Sage asked eagerly,"Keeper did you say?"
Sage had just took notice to how many people she was with and felt her stomach do backflips again. Here she was worring about not making any friends and now this happens! Her Hogwarts experience was starting off great!

What?
Was his nudge too much....or too little, he mused to himself as Selina raised an eyebrow at him. Or was she just not expecting it from him. "Aye...monkeys," Gideon confirmed with a nod.
"Why thank you," the 4th year remarked glad it was a satisfing answer to the random fact for he had been so unsure what to pick. "A hippocampus is an interesting one as well," Gideon added agreeing with her own choice of creature. The creatures were the much larger, magical equivolent of seahorses after all, quite curious beasts.

Alfie herself looked as though she was the one offered the honour, practically beaming with pride as she stood at Theodore's side, obviously quite proud of her boyfriend. But he was a prefect! It was an honour! She opened her mouth to speak, to possibly comment on this idea of taking points away, when her father spoke first. "Prefect?" he announced with his powerful voice, eyebrows raising as he kept his professional smile. "Wow, that's quite an honour, isn't it?" he suggested as he crossed his arms over his chest absentmindedly, scanning poor Theodore with pure evaluation in his gaze. "You sure you're up to that?" he added, his tone the kind that could either be registered as mocking or simple curiosity. Alfie, obviously knew it was the former.
"Dad!" Alfie scowled, turning to look at her father with furrowed brows, obviously unhappy with his judgemental tone. Her expression lightened slightly as she turned to look at Theo himself, flashing him a warm smile, "Theo's going to be a great Prefect, he's the most responsible, kind person I've ever met," she informed the entire group, though her large eyes remained glued to Theo's expression for a moment, flashing him a reassuring grin. She then turned her gaze to Emma, giving the girl a soft smile as well, "Emm and I are gonna have to be on our toes to make sure we don't lose any points this year."
"You on the Quidditch team, son?" Mr. Port continued, seeming to not hear his daughter's kind words. He still had a smile on his expression, but his light eyes were evaluating, judging quite obviously the boy that his daughter was in a relationship with. But, having the career he did in the Quidditch world, Mr. Port only really cared to hear about this side of what the boy's hobbies might be.
"Does it matter?" Alfie posed, her gentle voice suddenly a bit more assertive as her father's eyes flashed momentarily to her own, his eyebrows raising just slightly. His daughter was rarely this defensive of anything really.
"I guess not," Mr. Port replied, though his expression sustained his cool, controlled smile and he obviously meant the direct opposite of his words. Of course it only seemed natural to him that his daughter should date some sort of Quidditch player. Alfie, on the other hand, couldn't care less if her boyfriend was involved in the sport or not. Mr. Port, after evaluating Theo for a moment more, turned his attention to Emma politely, "I hear you're involved with the Slytherin Quidditch team, though?" he added, his voice a little more kind than it had been with Theo. "I myself was on the Gryffindor team years ago."
"Yeah, Dad, your glory days, we get it," Alfie said nearly the second her father's mouth had closed, flashing him a weak smile and a look that clearly said, 'Shouldn't you be going now?'. Her hand still remained entwined with Theo's own, and she hated the idea of him being uncomfortable because of her father's questioning both him and Emma. Mr. Port's eyes turned to look at his daughter, then flickering over to glance at her left hand enveloped in Theo's own. His eyebrows rose, vague amusement in his lightly wrinkled features, but his expression wasn't one of a father who was sentimental, rather a father who was more amused than anything with his daughter's choice in men.

Batting her eyelids, she began, "You won't take points away from Alfie and I right. Because we're Slytherclaws? And I'm giving you a country when I rule the world," she said, with a wide smile on her face. Hehe. Hopefully Theo would agree.
And the questioning began. It was as if this was a crime scene investigation and Alfie's father was the Head Auror and Theo was the dark wizard. And Alfie and Alfie's mother were bystanders. And Emma was a person sitting in a movie theatre watching the movie. Her brown eyes widened slightly and it took her a while for her to realize that she had been staring. Merlin. She had picked up that staring habit when she was polyjuiced as Alfie. Merlin's Beard. But, alas, this was entertaining. The whole movie scene. Ooh, quick. Someone get Emma Malfoy a popcorn and a butterbeer! She'd be set to watch this movie.
The blonde was glad that she wasn't in Theo's position. Merlin, being questioned by your significant other's parents. My oh my. Should she bring up the cake canon? The blonde's brown eyes narrowed at the thought and a look of pure enjoyment flooded her face. She began scheming. Her Slytherin mind turning, going faster and faster. Hehe. No. She wouldn't. Emma didn't really want Alfie's parents to worry about their future son-in-law pulling out a cake canon at the wedding, now did they? And then Theo was giving her a look that made Emma think that he needed saving. Ooh. Now, should Emma help or not? It was such a tough decision but soon enough, she made up her mind, but not in the nick of time because Alfie's father was continuing the Spanish Inquisition. Merlin's beard. Poor Theodore... Emma tried opening her mouth to say something but then closed it, defeated. She bit her lip. Maybe.. Maybe, she should take a step back and crane her neck around the group to see if Braeden had arrived, so that she could politely escape excuse herself. But, she'd be some lousy friend to both Theo and Alfie if she did that. So, she stayed. Standing awkwardly, listening to the Spanish Inquisition occur.
Luckily, Alfie got a whole sentence in whilst Alfie's father continued his speech. Emma stood in awe. This guy could really question. Was he an Auror or something? The Malfoy nodded at what Alfie said and smile, "Oh yes. He'll be a strict one for sure. I've got to improve my pranks. So that their more cunning," she said, teasingly and winked at Alfie and then at Theo.
And then turning around Mr. Port was adressing her. DID HE SAY QU-QUIDDITCH!? Merlin's Beard. The blonde's face immediatley lit up at the word and she grinned. The blonde nodded. "Yes, I was on the reserve team and I played as a Chaser in a couple matches," said Emma, proud of her accomplishment. The Malfoy was so going to try out and try her hardest to make the full team this year. Mwaha. Oh yes. Wait? So Mr. Port had made it onto the Gryffindor team. "No way, Gryffindor team? Merlin, they are still a pretty good team. Though, Slytherin had an amazing year last year out on the Pitch. But nevertheless, that's amazing, Mr. Port. What position did you play?" she asked, suddenly more interested in Alfie's parents. And her brown eyes flickered over and she gave Alfie and Theo a soft smile. Perhpas Emma Malfoy could be of assistance and perhaps she could distract the parents from questioning Theo to death. Her eyes glanced at Mrs. Port who seemed not taken by this conversation. The blonde gave her a quick smile, before turning her head slightly and looking into the crowd, searching for someone.
Gulp.
Would the questions ever end? The kid thought not.
"No, of course not," He laughed a bit shakily, looking Emma in the eye hard as he was a bit frightened of directing his gaze back at his girlfriend's family. Would the train whistle blow any time soon? He could only hope.
"Well," He began, attempting to pacify both his love and her intimidating and ever so inquisitive father. "I... I think being a prefect would be good for me. I'm organized and I... I like rules?" He gave a weak smile, knowing that he sounded like an uneducated child. It was when quidditch came into the conversation that Mr. Port seemed to really get animated; Theo could only be thankful that Mrs. Port seemed to enjoy keeping silent. Could Alfie feel the perspiration that had formed on his palms? It was autumn but it felt like it was summer in the Saharan desert.
Alas, it was Empress Emma Malfoy to the rescue! :superhero: When she spoke up, taking the pressure off of the poor curly-haired kid, Theodore made a mental note to pay her back with his gratitude. Meekly, he muttered into the quidditch conversation. "That's very impressive, sir," He mused, although he was positive that neither Emma nor Alfie's father heard him over the sound of their own exuberant voices. Glancing at Alfie for a moment, he couldn't help but smile. At least they were in this together.
Emma smirked at Theo and then took a deep breath before making her eyes bigger and clasping her hands. She was making herself seem more angelic.
Glancing at Alfie for a moment, he couldn't help but smile. At least they were in this together.
Mr. Port gave a more genuine smile as Emma expressed interest in the topic of Quidditch; at least Alfie had made one friend worthy of some actual conversation! "I was a chaser in my day," he announced with a grin and a brief nod, listening to Emma as she explained her own position on the Slytherin team. "Captain of the team in my 6th and 7th years," he added with nonchalance, though he obviously mentioned it to get a bit of awe from anyone that might care.
"Yeah, we get it Dad," Alfie muttered with a weak smile, giving him a look that clearly said he should get going.
It was then that Alfie heard the soft mutter from the boy at her side, just barely able to understand what he had said, commenting on how impressive it was that her father had been on the Gryffindor team. She was pretty sure she was the only one to hear it. As her father grew distracted once more with the Quidditch conversation, Alfie seemed as though she was melting with adoration for the Dumble at her side. Was it strange that she found his nerves to be the most adorable thing she'd ever set her giant blue eyes on? She couldn't help but think that he was rather cute, trying his best to answer her father's annoyingly pestering questions, trying to be polite to the man who certainly wasn't doing a very good job of hiding the interrogation. And she couldn't seem to take her giant blue eyes off of Theo's face, her staring issue coming into play once more as a warm smile formed onto her face.
"Alfiana," came her father's stern voice, successfully snapping the girl out of her staring state and startling her slightly. "Stop staring. You do that too much," he commented simply, as though this quality of his daughter had an erase button and she could simply stop this charming little quirk of hers. Apparently, he didn't find the charm in it that others did. His conversation with Emma had ended and his wife had already suggested they get going, all while Alfie had been staring at Theo so shamelessly. "We're leaving now, you have a good year." Alfie released Theo's hand in order to give a brief hug to her father and mother, giving them each a soft smile and thanking them for accompanying her to the station. After this was done, Mr. Port shook Emma's hand once more lightly before taking Theo's once more and crushing it just slightly quite possibly for the fun of it.
"You both have a good year," Mr. Port added politely before turning his eyes to Theo specifically. "You," he addressed with raised eyebrows, his stern light eyes focused on Theo's own much kinder blue ones. "Don't make me too disappointed in my daughter's choice in men, would you?" he suggested bluntly, causing Alfie's jaw to drop.
"Dad!"
"Okay, I'm going," he said with a grin, his expression suggesting that he mainly added his last comment to freak Theo out just a bit. "I have to have a little fun." And with that, and a wave from Mrs. Port, the pair started off towards where they had come from, off back into the large station. The second they were out of hearing range, the little blonde Ravenclaw did a bit of a face palm and let out a soft sigh.
"I'm sorry about them," she immediately apologized to her pair of friends, her blonde eyebrows furrowed just slightly as she addressed Emma and then turned to the boy at her side. "Please ignore my father, he enjoys making people squirm whenever he can," Alfie explained softly, though there was vague amusement behind her features as she locked eyes with the now prefect. "If it's any consolation, I don't think I've ever seen something as cute as you trying to be polite," she added with honesty, figuring Theo deserved her honest opinion after going through that. And with that the girl was up on her toes to place a gentle kiss on Theo's lips, letting it last for a couple moments before breaking apart and flashing him the warmest of smiles. "Thank you for being so nice."

"Thank you for being so nice."
Emma smirked a bit as Theo told her what he thought about the point deductions with friends. Mwaha. Yes, Theo would be wonderful. But poor guy. Emma kind of enjoyed seeing the Raven squirm. Though, she'd never admit it. Because Theo was her friend. And besides, it was all kind of hilarious to Emma because she could see exactly what Mr. Port was doing. He was making sure that his daughter wasn't going to get his heart broken by a big bad guy. No, Emma was sure that if Theo had a daughter, he wouldn't want his daughter to get hurt? Yep, seemed reasonable to Emma.
Emma directed her attention back to Mr. Port. YES! Mr. Port was a Chaser too!? Amazing! HE WAS SO COOL! She was about to tell him how insanely awesome that was when Mrs. Port suggested that they should leave. The blonde shook Mr. and Mrs. Port's hands and smiled at them but on the inside she wanted to shout: "NO STAY! Please STAY!"
But soon, Emma Malfoy's mouth was hanging wide open in awe at what Mr. Port said to Theo. WOAH. Way to be blunt. Merlin. Emma liked Mr. Port more as a father figure now. First of all he loved Quidditch and second of all he could make people squirm. Merlin, he'd be a good ally for Emma when she took over the world with the Slytherclaws. She'd have to stay on his good side. As the two Ports disappeared from her view, she gave them one last friendly wave and then directed her attention back to Alfredore. And Alfie was apologizing for her parent's behaviour. Emma shrugged nonchalantly. "Eh, it's okay. Father's are all the same. With the inspecting boyfriends. At least your father's more reasonable," added Emma, with a knowing look. Yeah. It would be an understatement to say that Emma's father and Brae didn't exactly see eye to eye. Emma smirked. "You know Alfie. You're father's pretty cool. He can make people squirm AND he likes Quidditch. He'd be quite a good ally when we take over the world...." began Emma as she folded her arms and her Slytherin brain began plotting. Oh yes. Then the blonde softly punched Theo's arm and gave him a look which said, HOORAY-YOU-SURVIVED!
"So Alfie! Why didn't you tell me that your dad was into QUIDDITCH?" asked Emma as grabbed her Ravenclaw friend and shook her lightly, so it wouldn't knock the girl out. But she let go of her bestie five seconds later and gave her the WHY-didn't YOU tell me-look?
Was his nudge too much....or too little, he mused to himself as Selina raised an eyebrow at him. Or was she just not expecting it from him. "Aye...monkeys," Gideon confirmed with a nod.
"Why thank you," the 4th year remarked glad it was a satisfing answer to the random fact for he had been so unsure what to pick. "A hippocampus is an interesting one as well," Gideon added agreeing with her own choice of creature. The creatures were the much larger, magical equivolent of seahorses after all, quite curious beasts.
Selina giggled a little at his affirmation on monkeys. Aye, she might need to start saying that. Then again after the experience she had last year with pirates maybe aye was not the best word to be throwing around at Hogwarts. It was awesome though, the word aye. "Aye," she muttered, "I LOVE that word. Sorry if that's random or anything."
