Dani dragged her trunk along and smiled at who she had been hoping to see- "Kita!" she said softly as she approached her friend with her usual happy smile plastered across her face, she gave her friend a quick friendly hug and stood back, sighing contentedly- "Ready to get back to school then?" she asked, winking as she smiled widely.

Jonathan laughed with her. He's really enjoying this because he usually just sleeps and/or eat at Hogwarts. He doesn't even do some of the homeworks. Which is really not ideal since his father is very much expecting a lot from him and especially now that he has to take to bloody OWLs.

"That's even better" yeah because now, he doesn't have to worry too much when Kurumi will act strict to him. Let's just hope she won't get irritated and will definitely act strict. Jonathan fails in studying Herbology. It's like his mind goes off and just sleeps whenever he reads or discuss anything that has to do with plants.

"Behave and cookies. I can manage that" he said winking at her. Perfect. Jonathan can behave and loves Kurumi's cookies. Well, she has to bake them though everytime she helps him with the Herbology thing. "Maybe baking would take up most of your time since you're Prefect Kurumi now" Jonathan started to tease her about being a prefect.

"aww i would love to have one but maybe next year now" skye said to Kurumi. there was plenty of other students waiting to board the hogwarts express. "i wonder how long it will to take to get us all on".

A shout. Her name.

WHHHAAATTT?!

Kita turned her head, her hair swinging round to flap across her face, and gazed at the girl who had just shouted her name. "Daisy?" she asked, before squealing, "DAISY!" She watched as the girl ran over to meet her, a smile spreading across her face. "Hi!" she said, throwing her arms around her friend and giving the girl a hug, "Summer was... fun!" Ok, fine, she could have gone for other words but that is exactly what it was. Fun. "Er... I moved in with my best friend, then we had a pool party and then i went to sunny California," she started, ticking the list off on her fingers, "But what about you? Excited about the next year?" If Kita was right, which she probably wasn't, Daisy was going into her second year at Hogwarts. That had to be exciting, right?

Just when she was thinking about boarding the train and finding an empty compartment, she heard her name being called by someone nearby. Kita turned around to the source of the sound and smiled. Had she bypassed this girl? "DANI!" she squealed, hugging her friend back. Merlin, she hadn't seen this girl in quite some time! Ok, they had gone to have ice cream in Florean's so that wasn't so bad. Ready to go back to school? "Er... Not sure, you know," she said, her gaze travelling to the scarlet steam engine, "This is the last time i'm boarding the train to go to Hogwarts. But..." She turned her attention back to Dani. "This year is going to be a blast," she said, the smile growing on her face, "What about you?"

"Good so you've had field training." Faina smirked. "So now we are gonna feed them to unsuspecting passengers! Mwahaha!" Faina laughed dramatically and then she whispered, "Do it, it's a brilliant effect! Laughing evilly."

Dani smiled and nodded- "It's gonna be a blast, and because it's your last one. We better make it special, huh?" she said before moving and steadying her annoying trunk, at least it had handy wheels. She sighed and turned back to Kita- "So how have the last few weeks been? I heard you'd gone off to somewhere nice and hot and amazing!" she giggled as she pushed back her curls and smiled widely at her friend, she had pretty much spent the whole time with Philip and/or entertaining Lana and meeting up with Beauxbatons peeps. Yeah, it had been pretty... awesome.

Jordan sucked in air dramatically, before doing his best - yet feeble - attempt of an evil laugh. "It needs a bit of practise," he grinned. "But its the thought that counts!"

Make it extra special? Kita smirked slightly. Now that was an idea she liked. "Is it a plan?" she asked, looking at Dani, "We're going to make this year, as they say, epic?" Someone had used that word in a conversation with her, right? Was that even used in the right context?

Wait... was there something spreading round about her trip? Kita giggled. "A lot of fun!" she said, "I went to California with Caroline. You know Caroline right? And a LOT of shopping was done!" That and spying on hunky American boys who were walking around showing their six packs...

Ahem!

Back to Dani. "I heard..." Wait... Did she even hear anything about Dani's summer? "I heard nothing about your summer. What did you get up to after the pool party and the ice cream?"

Selina had to get as far away from Violet and Chris as possible. It seemed like her parents had gotten caught up in speaking to the Le Veela's and the young couple Chris and Violet were making up for some serious lost time from the summer. Although they had just seen each other two weeks ago, but those were details that sometimes she felt Violet and Chris ignored. Whatever, she needed to get away from all of that whatever they did. Space was a very good thing when it came to them.

She made her way down the platform to see if she could meet up with any other friends before they made their way onto the train, but she saw no one. Well with the exception of Kurumi who was talking to Johnathan, the boy at the maze, which did not surprise her. Those two seemed to be getting on quite well... Selina wasn't sure she could deal with another boy thing with Kurumi this term, but whatever made her older lion sister happy.

Just then she saw a boy who looked very familiar but she could not place her finger on why. She approached him and tapped him on the shoulder, "Excuse me, but do I know you?"

As Gideon paused outside the end of the train, he felt a tap on his shoulder causing him to turn in place just as a girl asked him a question. "Sairy...um I'm not sure," he answered truthfully looking her over better. She did look familiar and was certainly a member or Gryffindor house, that much he was certain even without the patch on the robes.

"Ma name is Gideon," he introduced out of politeness and just in case that helped her answer her question. "Gideon Gert of Gryffindor."

Selina smiled at the boy who did not look much older than herself. So he was in Gyrffindor. No wonder why he looked so familiar, but she was curious as to why she was not acquainted with him. Most people in her house she knew by first name and if she didn't she knew their faces without a shadow of doubt. Why then was she so fuzzy on his existence?

"Nice to meet you Gideon. I'm Selina Skylar." She fumbled with the end of her shirt and pressed on, "Sorry about this, I feel really, really awful but I've never really seen you before. You've been at Hogwarts since first year?"

Way to go Selina. Now a kid that she had just met was going to hate her because she could barely remember his existence. That was a little brutal... but it was true.

"Of course, it shall be super epic" she giggled as she smirked at Kita, hearing what she said next and laughed- "Oh that sounds awesome, yeah I know her... and ohh, shoppingshoppingshopping. That's my sorta holiday" she smiled widely.

"Well... I went on a boat, well yeah, my friend Mollie has a boat in Monaco, so we went out threre for a week. And then I spent a lot of time with Philip and my family" she nodded- "My Uncle's girlfriend's having a baby so we're sort of getting ready for it!" she laughed.

Josephine looked at Danielle and smiled "Dani! I'm so glad we found you!" she took her to where Maxwell and her brother were standing "Max, this is Danielle, a Ravenclaw first year and my best friend, Dani, this is Maxwell, a Gryffindor first year like me and my brother, he's really nice so you two will get along just fine!" she said happily.

Gideon smiled back at her waiting to see her response, wondering if he had helped or not seeing as she had been so questioning. "Nice to meet ye as well Selina," he said with a nod. The boy tried not to react with a laugh at her appology, feeling she would probably just feel worse about it so he simply waved it off. "Tis fine," he said nodding at her statement.

"Aye...but I wasn't too outgoing so its a'right," the 4th year lion added trying to assure her that it was truly fine if she didn't remember him. It wasn't like he had been that forward towards his classmates or even housemates before though he had already worked on rectifying it over the summer.

Selina smiled back at the boy who she could tell was desperately trying not to laugh at Selina's sheer embarrassment. Honestly, she felt ruddy about the whole situation. Deep down she knew that she should at least know of him if they were in the same house, but sometimes things did not work out like that. Then again Selina did only really run in the Quidditch circles and the occasional odd one or two. So maybe it was not so strange that she did not know him. Although it still did not make her feel any better.

"That may be true, but it still doesn't make it right that I don't know who you are." She waved her hands and tried to shake off her awkwardness, "Sorry... let's just start over. Hello, I'm Selina Skylar. I'm a third year who loves Quidditch and is awful at potions and you are?"

Did she just use the word in the correct context? Woohoooo!

Ahem!

"We'll go out with a bang!" she said, smirking at the very thought, "How we're going to do that without getting a detention, i don't know." Kita hadn't gotten a detention in the past six years, it would be a shame to ruin that now. Or maybe not. She giggled at the next thing Dani said. "Shopping and hunky boys," she said, sighing dreamily, "It's not a bad combination, now is it?" Although... Dani had Philip so that would be a bit awkward.

Boat? Monaco? A lot of time with her boyfriend? "Boy, it sounds like you had a great time!" she said, smirking slightly, "So what did your parents think of Philip?" They did meet right? Dani did say that they met didn't they? But wait... babies?!

"Oh my days!" she squealed, "Congrats! Is it a boy or a girl?" And did Kita have to hold the baby? Please, Merlin, no! After her summer of looking after Caroline's neice and nephew, anyone would say that she, Kita, wasn't good with babies at all. "So you're going to be an aunt!" she said, "Look at you, growing up so quickly." Ok, fine, the girl was only a year younger than her.

Dani laughed- "Sounds good to me, but you know I already have my hunky boy" she giggled.

"Oh... I..." she blushed. "My parents don't really have... much to do with my life anymore" she said quietly as she smiled sadly but reassuringly at Kita. "They barely talk to us since Uncle James adopted us... they wouldn't be interested. And my Dad is... well... he had an... accident, a few years back, he can't do much anymore apart from be nasty" she admitted with a sad little shrug. Okay, that sounded depressing, probably because it was and she knew her Mother would be so much happier leaving her Dad and getting with Rowan again, but still...

"A girl, and thanks! Well, I'm gonna be a second cousin'y thing hehe. And I'm already an Aunt to Lana" she winked at Kita- "But yeah... all these babies make me feel old. Lana even asked me where I worked the other day, I found it only slightly amusing" she laughed as she thought about her funny but gorgeous little niece.

She already had her boy... Kita raised her eyebrows. "It sounds like things are getting serious!" she said, winking at Dani. Boy, did she want that!

Kita blinked. Her parents didn't have much to do with her life? Had... had Dani told her this before? "Merlin, i'm so sorry!" she gasped. An accident? Nasty? But... PARENTS WEREN'T MEANT TO BE LIKE THAT! "Oh Dani!" she whispered, wrapping her arms around the blonde girl, "But hey, you have your Uncle! And you have us, your friends!" Maybe the fact that she had Kita wasn't as consoling as she thought it was... "You don't need him." Just like Kita didn't need her real parents.

Kita nodded, trying to take all the information in. But... she just never fully understood families and family trees. They were just so darn confusing! But for some reason, she could imagine a little Dani wandering around hallways screaming about clothes... "Oh! Lana!" Pfft! She totally remembered Lana... :whistle: Wait... What?! "Seriously?" she asked before bursting out in laughter, "Don't you worry, she'll be embarrassed about that one day." Unless she ended up being someone who doesn't get embarrassed easily. Like Kita.

"Thank you!" Presley grinned, resisting the urge to say "you too." She always felt like saying that when someone wished her a happy birthday. "How are you dearest?" She hugged Luna back. It really was time to go! She glanced over at Leo who still had her trolley. He really was the funniest sight, with four bright purple trunks.

Gideon could see it was really bugging her but he couldn't think of how t make it better."But tis hardly all yer fault now is it?" he questioned almost rhetorically to challenge her uncomfortableness. Which it really wasn't seeing as he had only officially met A ROOMATE of his in the dorms the other day after sharing a room for three years. If there was anyone who should feel bad it was him and Christopher...or anyone else in the 4th year Gryffindor boys dorms for that matter.

"Nice to meit ya Selina Skylar," he returned the greeting and her wish to start over. " I'm Gideon Gert. I'm a 4th year with a pet raven who happens ta be good in potions," Gideon said adding the last in response to her own description.

Selina laughed at the boy who she could tell genuinely did not want to make her feel uncomfortable. In fact her laughter went from a slight giggle to a whole hearty laugh. She had no idea what made her start to laugh, she probably looked like a crazy person, but now she could not stop. When she finally settled down she took one final breath and let out, "Sorry, I have no idea where that came from. I just needed to get that out..."

When he went on to explain some of the things he liked and was good at she her face went pale, "Potions? You're good at Potions. Well cheers to that mate. At least some one in this school is..."

As she laughed Gideon smiled relaxing figuring to be a good sign and Selina herself was letting it go. His own laughter messing with hers after a while even if he wasn't quite as energetic about it. "Tis alright I assure you. Laughter is always good."

He couldn't help but frown as her face paled at his answer, the boy listening as she spoke in response. "Aye..." he confirmed hoping that didn't mean a mark against him. "Comes from my father being a potioner himself I guess,"the 4th year remarked half-revealing soemthing about his family, half-giving an excuse in case it did.

Selina raised her eyebrow slightly at his comment, "Potions master? Your Dad is a Potions Master. I guess that's kind of cool. Did he make or discover any real major potion that I would know?" The fact that his Dad was a Potions master was kind of cool. All Selina's Dad did was play Quidditch, which she guessed was cool in its own right. Although she doubted that this guy would care. His father was some academic genius. Selina's Dad just played Quidditch.

A strand of red hair brushed in front of Selina's blue eyes as she was about to ask him another question. She fumbled with getting it out of her face and then asked, "So do you have any siblings?"

Gideon noticed her raised eyebrow briefly wondering what it was for with some amusement. He looked thoughtful trying to think of anything Damien Gert had done that fit Selina's question. "Um...not sure," he admitted truthfully. "Dad doesn't always share his work, at least not with us kids," he added by way of explaination.

"Aye I do actually. An older bruther and a younger sister," he answered thinking of the two them briefly. Just one more year alone at Hogwarts and then Kacie would be joining him no doubt, possibly in the same house. "Andy and Kacie. What about you? Do you have any siblings?"

"You're welcome," Alice said with another bright smile. Alice gave another huge smile as Lexi said that she'd teach her lots of new and exciting things. "I cannot wait!! All of our other lessons have gone so well, that I am sure this one will too," Alice said with a little nod of the head. She had a good feeling about it...after all her magic always seemed to be spot on when Lexi was around, or was the one instructing her.

"Oh my goodness!" Alice said, bringing up a hand to her mouth when Lexi said they had been attacked by seagulls. "Were you two alright?" Alice knew from her own experiences that those birds could be quite aggressive when they wanted to be...especially when you had food.

Alice was surprised when Lexi hugged her, but she happily hugged her back, her arms wrapping around Lexi just as tight as Lexi had wrapped her arms around her. "I am going to miss being there so much," Alice said, tears starting to come to her eyes. "I don't know what I'll do at a new school without you!"
