Danielle had just walked through the wall and was now making her way through the platform, searching for her friends or at least someone she knew. Josephine had to be around here, they were going to sit together at the wagon after all, but with all the crowd of people she couldn't find her nor joseph. |

He glanced down at his hand when she let it go, and if she hadn't quickly pressed her lips against his, he would have frowned. He wasn't ready to let her go. But the kiss had him forgetting that, for the moment at least, and placing his hands onto her cheeks, he kissed her back. There was a smile on his face, though, as she pulled away, and he nodded his head when she spoke, not really knowing what she was saying. Until she started to back away from him and he felt his smile disappear slowly as he watched her. He still wasn't ready to let her go, but if she didn't get on at that moment, she probably wouldn't have gotten on at all. "I love you, too." he said, and not really knowing what to do with himself, he just kind of stood there, watching as she took that step onto the train. "And forever." |

"Thanks, I'm really sorry!" Sage said she said to the Gryffindor perfect as she handed over her Black Owl. She felt extremley guilty for interupting their conversation. Sage brush her dark brown hair away from her eyes and stuck out her hand, "My name Sage Walker. I'm fine, really! Yes, I'm just starting Hogwarts! How about you? |

Just like Jonathan was doing now... "I miss him," she said softly. "And n-n-not in the way I expected I would. I miss him as a friend." She sighed softly and leaned her head against Jonathan's shoulder. Something...something must have happened between the time they had spoken in the Trophy Room and the end of the term feast. Whatever it was, she needed to figure it out. "I...I hope so..." she said shyly. "We are prefects together and I would hate for the group's dynamics to be ruined because of me." Her hands flew to her mouth and her eyes widened. Merlin. She had said it out loud. Selina was going to beat her with a Beater's bat now. Quote:
"It really is, especially if you haven't been around magic all your life." That had certainly been the case for Kurumi. Two weeks before the train departed and BOOM, there was her letter telling her she was a witch. Quote:

The muchkin cat certainly felt as though he were King of Everything. Kurumi remained silent for a moment as the two first years got acquainted. "Nice to meet you Sage," Kurumi smiled with a bow. "I'm Kurumi, Kurumi Hollingberry. I'm a forth year this coming term and Gryffindor's female prefect. Skye and I were just discussing Hogwarts if you would like to join. I'm happy to answer any questions." She glanced at the train that looked as though its doors would be unlocked soon to allow luggage and students aboard. "If we run out of time, we can continue our conversation on the train as well." She reached around for her tin of cookies. Cookies always calmed nerves, right? "Feel free to take one," she continued, offering Sage the tin. |

Watching that smile of his disappear as she backed away and boarded the train, broke her heart into a tiny thousand pieces. This was too hard. But she had promised him. She couldn't do this. He would never forgive her. The words were running through her head over and over, driving her crazy. "Nik...I love you, but please go." Her eyes were really starting to sting now and her vision had become all blurry. "If you want me to keep my promise..." You need to go. |

"Yeah... you'll learn how to miss him as a friend" Jonathan sigh. For that was the worse thing that could ever happen to a relationship with a friend. Missing the way you two used to be. The things you would laugh about and the things that make you dislike someone. It'll be sad when you're alone and not being able to talk to anyone. Jonathan felt Kurumi's hand on his shoulder. He can feel the sadness in her voice. The yearning to make up for Treyen. As tempting as the obliviate spell be, this was no laughing matter. Jonathan can't just joke nor tease about this. So he put his arm around her, trying to comfort her... ...But then she uttered out something that stiffened Jonathan. His eyes beaming and looking at her. "You're the new prefect of Gryffindor?" he smiled. "Bloody hell, this is awesome news, Kurumi" Jonathan hugged her. Despite of their topic earlier, which they can just go back, this one just calls for a celebration. SHE SHOULDN'T BE SAD AT ALL. |

It shouldn't have been so hard to say goodbye to Mia. They had been through the same thing before, and it wasn't like she was going to be away from him forever. But the look on her face made it seem that way, and that was what Nikolai was reacting to. He really didn't want to leave. He wanted to go up to her and kiss the tears that were so visibly forming in her eyes away. Maybe it would have been easier if she left while they were angry at eachother. "I'll see you soon." he murmured, and raising his hand in a farewell, he took her in for a moment before turning and making his way off the platform. |

"Wow a perfect! My older brother was a perfect when he went to Hogwarts, but he already graduated," Sage said. When Sage was offered a cookie she took one, nodding her thanks to Kurumi. "But my brother wouldn't tell me anything about school, he was a Gryffindor too! |

She didn't want him to feel bad that's why she was trying so hard to keep those tears from falling when all she really wanted to do was cry her eyes out. "See you." she whispered, waving her hand in goodbye and watched as he turned and walked towards the platform's exit. It was only then that she finally felt the hot tears slide down her cheeks and she stumbled her way into the nearest empty compartment. |

She was beginning to think that perhaps she should have spent more time home this summer. Time with her brothers that she desperately needed. Sure, the three of them often caused more trouble than it was worth, but she never felt like an outcast. Never felt judged. Never felt like she had to prove something when she was with them. She could just be herself. No other expectations. Not to mention that all three of them gave fantastic hugs. Not to say that she regretted her choices for the summer. Her exchange in New York had been fantastic, and she had really enjoyed getting to know Vickers. Then there was the fantasy week she had spent with Conan in Orlando. Her summer had been great, but she was missing her family already. Not the best way to start off the year. Just as she found a comfortable place, she felt Jonathan's body go all rigid under her. In the next instant, he was hugging her and she felt her cheeks fully flush and tried to think of something dull like grass growing to prevent her hair from doing something to embarrass her more. "I...uh....I...um..." she stammered. Looked like there was no denying it now. When she was able to wiggle her hand free, she reached into her pocket to pull out the small crimson badge she had been sent over the summer. "Y-Yes." Quote:

Prefect... "I knew it" he let go this time. She could use some breath. "I was betting always that you'd become a prefect or head girl" Jonathan said. It's true, he does look at Kurumi as the prefect or head girl type. She does fit the part. The only thing she should work on is probably her ability to be confident with herself and is not afraid to 'boss' people sometime. Not in a bad way but in a more civilized kind of way. Prefects also have their reputation so Kurumi should be more... hmmm... fierce? Is that the word. "Congratulations..." he smiled at the Gryffindor. Jonathan looked at the badge she held out. It looked shiny and cute. Wow. That's really nice. |
Text Cut: Alice! Again Lexi felt an overwhelming surge of pride and thanks for her little friend. She WAS so kind and unfaltering in her confidence in Lexi. It meant a lot to have cheerleaders when she felt so out of place sometimes. Smiling sheepishly she said, "Thanks." Was it sufficient? No probably not. Oooooh! "I will teach you all kinds of awesome stuff. I have been practicing at home, spending all of my free time at school doing spell work... It's very Ravenclaw of me." She gave more giggles and turned her nose up haughtily. Cracking up she looked back at Alice and winked. "I will come up with all sorts of fun things to teach you, though." "Holidays have been interesting," she said with a chuckle. They HAD been interesting that was for sure. Hehe. "We got attacked by a flock of seagulls in Greece. So with that being said... he may be cursed." Lexi just hugged Alice at that point. She kind of clung to the younger girl, to be honest about it. Heh. "Alice I am going to miss you so much this term. You have no idea." |

"T-T-Thank you," Kurumi blushed, bowing her head. "I nearly fainted when I received the letter with the badge in it. Father looked like he had died and gone to heaven." And she had had to hide his quills for weeks to prevent him from writing a full spread article in the Daily Prophet about it. "I hope I don't let people down..." |

"You'll do great" Jonathan complimented her. Of course she'll do great. "You're the most responsible person I know" he added a laugh. Jonathan doesn't have much friends in the higher years. He usually have friends younger than him or the same age as he does. Whoah. "Hope you won't be too strict" he looked at Kurumi. Jonathan seems to be more excited about this. Now, he can't wait to go back to Hogwarts. |

"Only when it comes to you," she teased sticking her tongue out. What? Someone had to make sure that he studied properly for his OWLs, right? Quote:

But she was getting distracted in her own thoughts when she should be focusing on the first year in front of her. "Some are certainly stricter than others," Kurumi said gently. "Unfortunately, two of my favorite professors will not be returning this coming term, so I cannot recommend their classes. I do recommend Professor Hadley and Professor Bentley's classes though. Professor Bentley teaches Arithmancy and Professor Bentley teaches Herbology." She would recommend Headmaster Tate, but she wasn't sure if he would return to teaching this term. She certainly missed his Defense Against the Dark Arts lessons. |
Quote:
NOOOOOOOO!!!! "Really?" Jonathan raised his eyebrow but still kept smiling. The idea of Kurumi being strict to Jonathan is just slightly weird and perhaps, different. Jonathan felt amused by that thought. Hey, maybe she could pull out a really scary look when she's strict. You know, like the ones Lafay give during Potions class. It will be classic. No, EPIC! "Well if you have to be like that then maybe I should keep making you laugh" or maybe blush. Kurumi does blush a lot, which is cute and really adorable. Jonathan grinned. Ohhh, fifth year. Hope it doesn't make him too busy. |

"EEEEEEEEEEE!" Having squealed her way through the barriers, Kita ran down to the south end of the platform. Pfft! There's no way she was going to sit at the front end of the train. No. She was going to party at the back end of the train with her friends and her chocolates. Ok, maybe that's a lie. She walked along the platform, looking around for a familiar face. They had to be somewhere nearby right? There's no way she was going to make her last journey to Hogwarts on her own. Or maybe she could make a new friend...? That would be nice as well. |
Quote:
"That shouldn't be too hard," she smiled. Jonathan always seemed to be able to make her smile. "As long as you behave and study, I'll be sure to give you cookies." And now it sounded like she was turning Jonathan into a crup or something. Quote:

Running with her trolley, Daisy caught up with Kita. 'Hi,' she smiled, panting a little from the weight of her trolley. 'How was your summer?' |
