..and Alice and Salander <3 Quote:
Lexi seemed excited. Tom wasn't sure whether it was seeing him, or the prospect of returning to the magic school that was making her bouncy. The excited energy radiating off her made him nervous and twitchy and he fidgeted with his wand which was still in his hand. “Yeah, I'm good fanks, Lexi.” He replied with a nod, trying his best to sound cool and casual. He shrugged his shoulders. “Dun' worry 'bou' it.” He replied to her apology. “I got everyfin' I need I fink. Me wand.” He held it up to show her. That was THE most important thing, right? “Ain' been able to do anyfin' wiff it yet mind.” He added. “Me maagic's still only showin' itself when I lose me tempah.” Which, fortunately... or unfortunately, depending on how you looked at it, was quite often. "Did you 'av a nice 'oliday?” he asked brighter, tilting his head and looking at the girl curiously as she bounced some more. He was beginning to relax a little thanks to the company and conversation. “It's Broadmoor.” He corrected when introduced as Tom. EVERYONE back home called him by his last name. He looked up at the older boy and nodded his head. “Yeah... 'eard a lot abou' you, Salandah. Nice tah finally meechah.” Although the Head Boy thing was news to the young lad. Instant dislike. Coppahs, teachers, people in authoritative positions were all bad in Tom's book. He frowned and looked away and at the other girl whom Lexi was introducing. “'Ello, Alice.” He greeted her with a nod of the head and a small polite smile. |

"bye mam bye dad" she said in her irish accent They waved happily at her as her mother sobbed quietly with a smile she was happy but a bit sad to see her last child go to hogwarts. As she got onto the train she hoped she would find another first year to sit with she was very nervous but equally excitted |
*I* want to hug Tom's head! :D ..Alice and Sal as well Quote:
"OOOOH! You got your wand. Isn't it exciting?!" she nearly squealed as she tugged at the hem of her dress in a most childlike fashion. She remembered the day she got her first wand. Now it had been her most prized possession until... well she had a new one now and it had worked WONDERS for her. "Don't you worry your head about that magic. We will have you fixed up in no time at all. Trust me. I am told that I am a fabulous teacher," she said with a grin in Alice's direction. "I will teach you something really basic that you can practice until you get more confidence." BOUNCEBOUNCEBOUNCEBOUNCE! "It was the most glorious holiday ever. It was... for lack of a better word, MAGICAL," she gushed as she now turned her head toward Sal and gave him a little wink, too. Hehe. "I will show you pictures and all when we get to school. OH. Would you like to share a compartment with Salander and I on the train? You are more than welcome to. And Rufus loves new people," she said as she noticed the little marmoset clinging to her leg, but looking at Tom and pointing. Hehe. CLIIIIIIIING! Rufus needed ATTENTION. NEEDED IT, I SAY! He stood peeking around his owner's legs and pointing at the newcomer. He knew Alice and Sal , but this one was NEW. Cue the cute monkey chattering and pointing. Didn't the boy GET IT? Rufus wanted attention... and for someone to hold him. |

"My favorite creature used to be monkeys," he finally answered with a chuckle. That was pretty random...he could have added the story about getting into the monkey enclosure when he was 5 but he wasn't sure of the response he'd get to that. "Canna be certain what it is now since we know of so much more through class." |

"Monkeys?" Selina smiled. That had to be the best answer she had ever heard to that question. Monkeys were not exactly an animal that she thought about often, so the fact that she had met someone who loved monkeys was kind of awesome. "I have to admit, that is a really awesome animal. And a really awesome answer. But I have to agree with you on the other thing, we know so many cool creatures it's hard. I guess mine would have to be hippocampus." |

"Hi! I'm Sky," she said, holding her hand out for a handshake. "Do you mind if I sit with you?" |

Being just a little bit shocked, she looked eye to eye with her violet eyes to the other Violet and then she replied, "Wow, awesome!:x3: Don't tell me your birthday is on the 21st day of February that will really be creepy...:hide: Oh, just kidding! Well, at least we're not so alone any more... So, the three of us are first years huh?" Then Violet looked over to Sage, and said "Hi there! Sorry didn't hear you that much because of the noise..." |

Not that one was really any better than the other. "I still have a lot to learn, but I did manage to catch the snitch in my first match," she smiled weakly. |

Great uncles ? Yeah ? Who would've thought ? No, seriously.. She totally likes the twins ! Beatrice just can't help thinking that because she met this student, she would somehow have the chance to meet the legendary twins .. "No, reallyyyyyyyy ?" she asked, shaking her head. Oh come on ! Quote:
Really now, Beezus ? What an imagination ! she told herself mentally.. "Well, I'm looking forward to almost everything. From the sorting to the subjects and most especially, Quidditch !" Not many knows but one of her dreams was to someday be a Quidditch keeper ! :) Quote:
"Coincidence ?" yeah .. It was a coincidence . Them, meeting there and knowing each other. And ... lightning struck ! Uh-oh, she remembered something, not a very good memory this one is.. She exhaled deeply and quickly extinguished the thought from her head.. Quote:
Really, she thought she was gonna be alone from the moment her aunt left her until she arrives at Hogwarts. But no, here she is.. talking to some of the most amazing people she could think of. "You know Vi.. or. . is it okay to call you Vi ? " "There are actually five of us now.. Sage, Violet and Violet, Ronnie and Beezus... I hope I counted that right. " she said, chuckling . |
Erin arrived at King's Cross station. Surprisingly, she was accompanied by her rather busy father that didn't even cared about how she would get to go to London at Diagon Alley to accumulate her things. Mr. Heyman, she noticed is slightly tearing down, one thing she's never seen like him before. Well, as usual, Christina her sister is crying like mad. She's really close to Erin, they're inseparable. And now, she's leaving and will never get back until the end of June. "Dad," she muttered as he wiped his tears with a handkerchief. "You take care of yourself there. Write as often as possible. Your sister'll be sad. Okay?" said Mr Heyman. She started tearing down as well then answered, "I will." Christina couldn't say a word, she's crying so hard, "I-I l-love y-you, sissy!" "Yeah, I know, I know." She hugged them one more time, then headed toward a barrier between Platform nine and ten which heads to Platform nine and three quarters. She knew what to do at once. One of her friends she met at Diagon Alley told her. She leaned forward the barrier for some time then when no one's watching apart from her family, she pushed her trunk hard toward the barrier. |

Was his nudge too much....or too little, he mused to himself as Selina raised an eyebrow at him. Or was she just not expecting it from him. "Aye...monkeys," Gideon confirmed with a nod. "Why thank you," the 4th year remarked glad it was a satisfing answer to the random fact for he had been so unsure what to pick. "A hippocampus is an interesting one as well," Gideon added agreeing with her own choice of creature. The creatures were the much larger, magical equivolent of seahorses after all, quite curious beasts. |

Text Cut: Los posts! Gulp. Would the questions ever end? The kid thought not. "No, of course not," He laughed a bit shakily, looking Emma in the eye hard as he was a bit frightened of directing his gaze back at his girlfriend's family. Would the train whistle blow any time soon? He could only hope. "Well," He began, attempting to pacify both his love and her intimidating and ever so inquisitive father. "I... I think being a prefect would be good for me. I'm organized and I... I like rules?" He gave a weak smile, knowing that he sounded like an uneducated child. It was when quidditch came into the conversation that Mr. Port seemed to really get animated; Theo could only be thankful that Mrs. Port seemed to enjoy keeping silent. Could Alfie feel the perspiration that had formed on his palms? It was autumn but it felt like it was summer in the Saharan desert. Alas, it was Empress Emma Malfoy to the rescue! :superhero: When she spoke up, taking the pressure off of the poor curly-haired kid, Theodore made a mental note to pay her back with his gratitude. Meekly, he muttered into the quidditch conversation. "That's very impressive, sir," He mused, although he was positive that neither Emma nor Alfie's father heard him over the sound of their own exuberant voices. Glancing at Alfie for a moment, he couldn't help but smile. At least they were in this together. |
SPOILER!!: Quotes! Mr. Port gave a more genuine smile as Emma expressed interest in the topic of Quidditch; at least Alfie had made one friend worthy of some actual conversation! "I was a chaser in my day," he announced with a grin and a brief nod, listening to Emma as she explained her own position on the Slytherin team. "Captain of the team in my 6th and 7th years," he added with nonchalance, though he obviously mentioned it to get a bit of awe from anyone that might care. "Yeah, we get it Dad," Alfie muttered with a weak smile, giving him a look that clearly said he should get going. It was then that Alfie heard the soft mutter from the boy at her side, just barely able to understand what he had said, commenting on how impressive it was that her father had been on the Gryffindor team. She was pretty sure she was the only one to hear it. As her father grew distracted once more with the Quidditch conversation, Alfie seemed as though she was melting with adoration for the Dumble at her side. Was it strange that she found his nerves to be the most adorable thing she'd ever set her giant blue eyes on? She couldn't help but think that he was rather cute, trying his best to answer her father's annoyingly pestering questions, trying to be polite to the man who certainly wasn't doing a very good job of hiding the interrogation. And she couldn't seem to take her giant blue eyes off of Theo's face, her staring issue coming into play once more as a warm smile formed onto her face. "Alfiana," came her father's stern voice, successfully snapping the girl out of her staring state and startling her slightly. "Stop staring. You do that too much," he commented simply, as though this quality of his daughter had an erase button and she could simply stop this charming little quirk of hers. Apparently, he didn't find the charm in it that others did. His conversation with Emma had ended and his wife had already suggested they get going, all while Alfie had been staring at Theo so shamelessly. "We're leaving now, you have a good year." Alfie released Theo's hand in order to give a brief hug to her father and mother, giving them each a soft smile and thanking them for accompanying her to the station. After this was done, Mr. Port shook Emma's hand once more lightly before taking Theo's once more and crushing it just slightly quite possibly for the fun of it. "You both have a good year," Mr. Port added politely before turning his eyes to Theo specifically. "You," he addressed with raised eyebrows, his stern light eyes focused on Theo's own much kinder blue ones. "Don't make me too disappointed in my daughter's choice in men, would you?" he suggested bluntly, causing Alfie's jaw to drop. "Dad!" "Okay, I'm going," he said with a grin, his expression suggesting that he mainly added his last comment to freak Theo out just a bit. "I have to have a little fun." And with that, and a wave from Mrs. Port, the pair started off towards where they had come from, off back into the large station. The second they were out of hearing range, the little blonde Ravenclaw did a bit of a face palm and let out a soft sigh. "I'm sorry about them," she immediately apologized to her pair of friends, her blonde eyebrows furrowed just slightly as she addressed Emma and then turned to the boy at her side. "Please ignore my father, he enjoys making people squirm whenever he can," Alfie explained softly, though there was vague amusement behind her features as she locked eyes with the now prefect. "If it's any consolation, I don't think I've ever seen something as cute as you trying to be polite," she added with honesty, figuring Theo deserved her honest opinion after going through that. And with that the girl was up on her toes to place a gentle kiss on Theo's lips, letting it last for a couple moments before breaking apart and flashing him the warmest of smiles. "Thank you for being so nice." |
SPOILER!!: Aww ze parents have left! D: Emma smirked a bit as Theo told her what he thought about the point deductions with friends. Mwaha. Yes, Theo would be wonderful. But poor guy. Emma kind of enjoyed seeing the Raven squirm. Though, she'd never admit it. Because Theo was her friend. And besides, it was all kind of hilarious to Emma because she could see exactly what Mr. Port was doing. He was making sure that his daughter wasn't going to get his heart broken by a big bad guy. No, Emma was sure that if Theo had a daughter, he wouldn't want his daughter to get hurt? Yep, seemed reasonable to Emma. Emma directed her attention back to Mr. Port. YES! Mr. Port was a Chaser too!? Amazing! HE WAS SO COOL! She was about to tell him how insanely awesome that was when Mrs. Port suggested that they should leave. The blonde shook Mr. and Mrs. Port's hands and smiled at them but on the inside she wanted to shout: "NO STAY! Please STAY!" But soon, Emma Malfoy's mouth was hanging wide open in awe at what Mr. Port said to Theo. WOAH. Way to be blunt. Merlin. Emma liked Mr. Port more as a father figure now. First of all he loved Quidditch and second of all he could make people squirm. Merlin, he'd be a good ally for Emma when she took over the world with the Slytherclaws. She'd have to stay on his good side. :shifty: As the two Ports disappeared from her view, she gave them one last friendly wave and then directed her attention back to Alfredore. And Alfie was apologizing for her parent's behaviour. Emma shrugged nonchalantly. "Eh, it's okay. Father's are all the same. With the inspecting boyfriends. At least your father's more reasonable," added Emma, with a knowing look. Yeah. It would be an understatement to say that Emma's father and Brae didn't exactly see eye to eye. Emma smirked. "You know Alfie. You're father's pretty cool. He can make people squirm AND he likes Quidditch. He'd be quite a good ally when we take over the world...." began Emma as she folded her arms and her Slytherin brain began plotting. Oh yes. Then the blonde softly punched Theo's arm and gave him a look which said, HOORAY-YOU-SURVIVED! "So Alfie! Why didn't you tell me that your dad was into QUIDDITCH?" asked Emma as grabbed her Ravenclaw friend and shook her lightly, so it wouldn't knock the girl out. :whaa: But she let go of her bestie five seconds later and gave her the WHY-didn't YOU tell me-look? |
