Holli smiled at the woman. 'No worries, I didn't know either, I've been handing them out. Wait, are these mine? Well, what do they look like when they're let off?' Holli asked, flushing slightly. She thought she was the only one who brought fireworks, but she could be wrong...
'Now worries, you're here now! Is your Head alright with it? Ours told us we would be in BIG trouble.' Holli whispered. 'But, I'm planning to quit.' she admitted. She hadn't told her twin yet, and she was worried about how she'd take it...
"Well, most of them are plain, but I added a few with anti-Borr and stuff. Like that one I just set off. They are mine," she added, going red again.
Did you just lose something? The GAME? Sorry... 'Justin Bieber, he is the man!' U mad, Felton!?

Holli's eyes widened, but she didn't blush. 'I'm terribly sorry, ma'am, I truly thought I was the only one with fireworks, I made some, you see, for this specially, I thought I was the only one!' Holli smiled, handing the lady back her fireworks.

Holli jumped when she heard the loud voice, before determination set over her face. 'YEAH!'

No kidding. Anti-Borr. Of course he knew that. The Cult of Walpurgis? Well, Leo had heard rumors of it, even had a friend sideways mention it in a positive light. But he hadn't known it was that bad. Or that Armen and Borr were supporters. He'd just assumed they were talking about ammending the statute of secrecy, not getting rid of it all together.
He took a deep breath. "That doesn't sound good," he said calmly, trying to remain neutral on the subject. Leo's mother had been a muggle. She hadn't abused the knowledge of the wizarding world ever. Occasionally she would ask Leo's father for a small bit of magic 'I burned myself, will you heal this?' 'The water just wont boil' 'Presley spilled hot cocoa on the white carpet.' But she'd never asked for miracles.
It was hard for Leo to imagine that any muggle would. On the other hand, he knew some power-hungry people, that would gladly try to force wizards to do their bidding. Nobody wanted a repeat of the Salem Witch Trials, or Witch-hunting of any kind.
He really wasn't sure how he felt about the issue, and had therefore remained without a side. Now it seemed everyone was choosing, and there was just no way to sit on the fence anymore. Leo really needed to sit on a comfy couch with a coffee, and write a long list of pros and cons of each argument. He didn't want to lose his job, and even less he wanted to lose Maine. But what he gave up wasn't really the point of the debate.
How did Maine choose her side? He reasoned that it was probably easier for her, because she'd never had any strong connection with muggles that she'd told him about. "Why would it be so bad?" He asked her. Really wanting to know her thoughts. Wizards and muggles could live peaceably together, Leo was convinced of that fact.
Maine smiled a little before rearranging her face into determination.
"Down with Borr!" she said before turning to Leo.
"Of course you will. She's hell bent on meeting you." Maine said. Gabby had to approve of him. Pfft.
"It's probably not." she nodded sadly. "Some Muggles would be alright, and just accept the fact. Then, they'd go on as if nothing had happened. Or just use little pieces of magic to make their lives easier."
But there were the others. "Those would be the Muggles I used to know, when I was on my Muggle Studies Practical ANS. The not-so-nice ones... That's a different story."
Surely he'd heard of the Salem Witch Trials? Executions? Witch Hunts?
"There will be the Muggles who'd want to kill us," she said, shaking a little. "The ones who would hunt us down from all parts of the world. They could destroy the schools, making it harder for Muggle-born students to control their magic."
"Some power-crazed ones would use us as puppets. Forcing us to use our magic against out wills. We would be treated like pets, not people anymore." she frowned, trying to halt the tears before they came. "There'd be war, magical creatures on the loose. Everything we became used to would turn completely upside down."
Muggles were the same as Wizards. There were good ones, but there would always be the ones who weren't.
"There was a point in my life that I wanted to die, Leo. This is not it."
Gabriel had to admit - Gina was very loud. But he knew one thing...if they entered the Ministry he would probably HAVE TO arrest them. And that was something he didn't want to do. With every fibre of his being he agreed with what they were trying to do. Just not the way they were doing it. A protest would never work, however loud and forceful it was. Borr and the Cult were too smart for that. Getting rid of them would require something far more sneaky and subtle. But they would get what was coming to them - Gabe was sure of that.
Right now though, he was stood just inside the door, arms crossed and staring intently out at all the sign wavers. He was in Head of Security mode, even though he should have been at his desk doing some paperwork. With Blaise and the others off doing their patrols, he was on his own. For now.
Hearing Gina, Gavin's ears perked up, moving closer to her again. "YEAH!!!" he shouted as loud as he could. He was ready, and would do whatever it took to take the Borr down!

"There was a point in my life that I wanted to die, Leo. This is not it."
Leo was glad that Maine's sister wanted to meet him. It was always good to be accepted by the family of the person you love. He listened with rapt and patient attention as Maine described her side of the issue. Not that he was on opposite sides from her, Leo didn't have a side yet.
Even though her points were logical and well thought out, Leo couldn't believe that those people were still out there. That was mideval (sp?) times. People weren't like that anymore. They didn't kill others because of a difference in abilities. Muggles went into space, and wizards could do magic. They would be fine.
It was her last plea that swayed him in the favor of these crazy-protestors. Of course, her ex-husband. Leo hated that man with every fibre of his being. He wanted to hunt him down and teach him how it felt to be treated the way he'd treated the most amazing girl. He clenched his fists ever so slightly, and then relaxed. Now wasn't the time, and that wasn't the point she'd been trying to make.
Leo reached out for Maine's hand, and squeezed it gently. "I would never let anything like that happen to you," he reassured her softly. But after that comment, he was starting to wonder just how much job-security was worth. They could end up like puppets, or dead. He took a deep breath, and resolved to hear all of the other side of the argument before he made a decision of his own. But how could he not choose Maine's side?
Esteban heard Gina's cry, heard her wanting to take the picket line even further. He wasn't sure what to do or how to feel. He hated that Borr man, he was lazy and arrogant, but at the same time, could he afford to loose his job with his baby so close to being due?
Could he maybe gain something from sticking with the ministry and slowing fadingfrom the crowd. Or could he loose everything once lord what's his face was taken down (if he was taken down). He wasn't sure what to say, do, feel think. Why was life so overly difficutl some times.
''DOWN WITH BORR, BORR NO MORE'' FINALLY! They were going to get rid of him this was brilliant the man was a slop and needed to be rid of the ministry!!!!!!!

Lights walked out of the Ministry to check on the picket line. Even though she wasn't allowed to join in, she still wanted to know what was going on. She spotted Gabriel watching the protest, and walked up to him. "Hello," she said with slightly less cheer than normal. Because seriously, even optimistic Lights could tell that if the protesters stormed the Ministry it wouldn't end well. "Um, shouldn't we warn them not to go inside?" she asked hesitantly. "To save the unpleasantness of arrests?" Merlin forbid it should come to that.
J J. Starr decided to join the picket line. " NO MORE BORR" DOWN WITH BOREING" Joe Jon Montcenaggio called out. " I am with you all" J.J. told everyone in the picket line.
"MINISTRY WORKERS? ARE YOU READY TO TAKE THIS FURTHER?!" She said getting really excited. "ARE YOU READY TO MAKE A STRONG EFFORT TO KICK OUT BERTY BORR?!?!?"
Dean arrived just in time when the Head of International Cooperation Department exclaimed. Merlin's hat! That doesn't sound too good! The assigned patrol officer looked around in case if the security division had taken their own steps.

As he looked around, his eyes caught sight of a man whom he was sure he saw before. Wasn't that Vartann, the Head of Security? Brilliant! He could use some help.
Dean walked towards the man who was staring at the crowd. Then, he tapped the other man's shoulder. "Mr. Vartann?" he asked for confirmation, but knew it was Vartann. "Dean Benson from MLES. Wes sent me to keep an eye on them," he glared at those dunderheads holding signs against Borr. Honestly, how thick could they get? It's not what he expected from a department head. They're just feeding coals into the fire!

Gabriel knew that patrols were nearing their end for the time being, so it wasn't much of a surprise when he heard the voice of Lights addressing him. He turned his head and gave her a nod of greeting, before looking back at the crowd outside. "They seem to be taking any warnings, and guidance as an attack at the moment, from what I hear in the office. Especially Mrs Latorta," Gabe nodded in the direction of the old lady shouting near the front. "She isn't listening to reason, so I suspect a warning from us would fall on deaf ears."
But they did need to be prepared in case a storming through the door did happen. Which is why Gabriel slipped his wand slowly out of it's holster - holding it close by his side so it wasn't very visible. Just in case.

Feeling the tap on his shoulder, Gabe spun round, wand pointed at the nose of the man behind him. "Never," he began, softening when he heard who it was, "sneak up on a person like that, Dean. Especially an old timer in MLE. It could end very badly for you." Luckily he'd refrained from actually doing anything, so the man's nose was safe. Putting his arm down, Gabriel sighed and nodded. "Yes, I am Mr Vartann, but please just call me Gabriel. And it's good that you're here, they seem to be getting - louder."
He eyed them all again, frowning when he saw the ferocity with which they were all shouting. How they thought it would end well for them was anyone's guess.

Maine smiled determinedly. "Down with Borr!" she said, her banner making a quick show before going back down. Her arms were aching.
She shook her head. This was not the time to cry. But looking around, she briefly wondered if this was the right way to get rid of Borr and the Cult. They would definitely need something more cunning, not as loud as this.
But it was the only time she'd seen people protesting, and if this was what it would take to bring the walrus down... Maine would do it.
Squeezing Leo's hand back, she smiled. "I know," she said softly, leaning into him. "Thanks."
He could leave if he wanted, it was his choice. Maine didn't want him to feel like he was here because he had to be or anything like that.

Lights nodded. "Oka-" she began, but then Gabriel turned and all but jammed his wand up some poor guy's nose. Whoa. Lights made a mental note to always approach Gabriel from the front with her hands in the air. Her face was fine just the way it was right now.
She smiled at the newcomer. "Hello," she said almost as brightly as normal. Another day, another friend, right? Lights slid her wand from her pocket and slipped it into her sleeve, where she could get to it easier, reminding herself to get a holster one of these days. They seemed to be quite handy.

Elizabeth smiled, "Anytime and it's a pleasure to meet you sir. I'm Elizabeth Da... er i mean McIntrye." Elizabeth blushed, she wasn't use to saying McIntrye yet.
"DOWN WITH BORR!" Becky shouted, joining in. Oooh, cookies. She grabbed one and held up her sign. Stupid man, Borr was. How did he get minister in the first place?
Tim stopped screaming when he noticed the same lovely lady he noticed at the convenience store. He walked over to her and said''Hello,I'm Tim the person who helped you at the Convenience store.''
"MINISTRY WORKERS? ARE YOU READY TO TAKE THIS FURTHER?!" She said getting really excited. "ARE YOU READY TO MAKE A STRONG EFFORT TO KICK OUT BERTY BORR?!?!?"
Hawk was about to reply to Dean when the Department Head started yelling louder than ever. He muttered to no one in particular "Take this further? Does that by any chance involve yelling even louder? Maybe a few banshees would do the trick."
Feeling the tap on his shoulder, Gabe spun round, wand pointed at the nose of the man behind him. "Never," he began, softening when he heard who it was, "sneak up on a person like that, Dean. He felt like his heart had stop beating when the elder man's wand was pointed at his nose. "Y-Yes, sir," affirmed Dean as he nodded vigorously. Never sneak up behind an MLEr. Ever! As Vartann pulled away his wand, the patrol officer let a sigh of relief. Thank goodness he didn't get himself jinxed or hexed!
Seeing Gabriel frowning at the crowd outside the door, Dean turned his head towards the same direction and he too started to frown. That was when he slipped his wand from his wrist holster, just in case. "Do you think they'll force themselves in? If they do, then we're definitely outnumbered," he spoke to Gabriel with a low voice.

Alerted by the voice adressing him, Dean turned around to where the female voice came from. Luckily, he wasn't used to shoving wands onto people's face yet. "Hi. Nice meeting you," replied the younger man briefly because his attention was still fixed on the crowd.
