Fighting off the spell again, she turned to look at Holli. Looking sympathetically, she smiled weakly from the effort of pushing the 'other-Maine' away.

"I know you are, Holli!" she said, gripping her shoulder. "Push it away, just fight. You can do it!"

Releasing Holli's shoulder, she doubled over in pain and tried even harder to push everything away. This wasn't her. She wouldn't do this.

Gasping for breath, she managed a small smile. "Thank you," she whispered. "Nice to meet you," she said, before her eyes glazed over again briefly as she let go for a moment from pure exhaustion.

"Let the Cult in!" she said, holding her wand menacingly.

Wand still down, she pushed the curse away and out of her, not completely, but long enough to help Holli. Apparently, if a curse was interfered by some other kind of magic, it would weaken and break.

Wand pointed at Holli, she smiled sadly. "I'm sorry I have to do this to you," she whispered before bringing her wand to make a small flick and clockwise turn.

"Rictusempra," she thought, wand pointed directly at Holli. Hopefully, she was ticklish enough to be able to break the spell.

Tim was wandering around the line when he noticed Holli.He walked over to her twiddiling himself.He felt like he was under some Imperius Curse or something.''Hey Holli.''You probably don't remember me,''I'm Tim,the one you met a couple of days ago.''

Esteban looked at the man who had walked up to him. "We are striking against the Minister." Esteban explained. He was thought everyone knew that by now. "Right now we are forming a chain, no one in or out of the ministry." He explained to the new man

Esteban tightened his grip on those arms around him again. He was afraid it was going to turn into the game Red Rover, Red Rover, said the cultist on over. And he wasn't going to be the weak link.

Holli screamed as a tickling curse hit her. Okay, NOW she was angry. When the curse wore off, she stood up and held her wand up at her best friend.
'You should not have done that...' she whispered menacingly.
MAINE, MOVE!
Holli turned and saw a man. 'No, I don't know you, I'm sorry.' she said coldly.
Blimey, he'd better know I don't mean this...

Ben watched as Maine performed a tickling charm at Holli, that wouldn't work! He knew it, Holli looked furious! Ben knew that a spell was about to be cast, and it wouldn't be a good one. His wand suddenly in his hand, he non-verbally cast "Protego! between Maine and Holli, not wanting anyone to get hurt.

Maine's eyes glinted worriedly as Holli stood back up. So this was how she'd been when she was cursed.

"I know," she whispered, bringing her own wand up and conjuring an invisible shielf around herself.

"Holli," she said calmly. "You need to calm down. This isn't you!" she said, wand threatening Holli. And she knew how lethal Maine's magic was, especially when she was using her wand.

'Impedimenta!' she thought, mind focused on slowing her down enough to give Holli time to think. Her mind was working overtime, sifting through spells and jinxes that wouldn't harm Holli. "Think, Holli. You're stronger than this. I believe in you!" she cried, wand held defensively.

Holli watched as someone put a shield in front of them, and her sane side thanked him profusely. If only she could get to that side.

Holli felt herself blown back, and cursed Maine's power. She knew what curse this was, and if it was used with power, it knocked the person back. That made Holli VERY annoyed.
She was frozen on the floor, trying to scream, but not being able to, and it annoyed her a lot.

Just then, with Holli plastered to the floor, Maine realized that they were in muggle London. Shaking her head, she lowered her wand slightly.

'Finite,' Jab. 'Incantatem.'

Wand out of sight, but still being held, Maine frowned. "Not here, Holli. I'll duel you somewhere else."

Anywhere but where the Muggles were watching. Glamour charms or not, it just wasn't good.

Then she was up again. Holli jumped up from the ground and stood in a offensive stance, snarling slightly.
No, I'm not fighting my best friend, no. Freakin'. Way.

She gasped as she overthrew the curse and held the ground as she collapsed onto her knees.

Maine flinched slightly, before seeing Holli's eyes refocus and return to normal. That did it. She'd overthrown the curse!

Pocketing her acacia wand, she smiled. As she walked over to Holli, she extended a hand to help her best friend back up. "You okay?" she whispered. "Or do you need me to pop you back home?"

Holli blinked and took the hand, tears coming to her eyes. 'I don't think I can stay. I don't like that curse.' Holli whispered. Twice she'd been caught with it. Twice. She hugged Maine tightly, before spouting out apologies.
'I'm so sorry, I didn't want to hurt you, it kept telling me to, but I didn't want to!' she said, tears now leaking openly from her eyes.

Yeah. Gretchen was LOADS nicer than him. He had no desire to answer questions to little peons such as these. He did move closer to Miss Wisteria, though. She was lovely, she was. "Thank you very much," he said gruffly as he moved forward and placed his hand on her arm. Was that close enough?

Maine nodded, gathering Holli into a tight hug. "Shh..." she whispered, rubbing Holli's back soothingly. "It's okay... It'll all be okay..."

Maine smiled and allowed her best friend to ramble. "I know, Holls." she whispered. "It's okay, I forgive you. Don't worry."

Maine would have started crying too, if they weren't like... surrounded by people. So, she just hugged Holli and prayed that noone else got hit.

Oh, no. Eliza!

Holli just nodded. She didn't know what to do. Then she calmed down, and her face set in an angry espression.
'Is anyone else imperiused?' she asked. She'd help them, or try to, anyway.

Maine released Holli, relieved.

"That I know of? Eliza." she replied. They'd have to help her, but Maine was so tired...

Upon reciept of her bosses memo Divinity joined the ranks outside the Ministry inthe picket line. She hadn't been able to get to her work station for months and frankly she was sick of all the animosity inside the Ministery. Now was the time to have her voice heard loud and clear. So, she picked up a sign and hoisted it high and began to chant with the others.

Making to the picket line, Dacs quickly scanned for Gina. She was on the ministry side of the line and saw that they were holding strong except for a few struggles here and there. Something wasn't right here.

She moved along the line looking for Gina, then she saw a few familiar faces. Dacs, holstered her wand and proceeded cautiously. She didn't want to attract attention to herself. There were other cultist members. Before sending her patronus to Damien and Chosen.

'Oh great, fell right in the middle of this. Not so super right now' she thought.

''I'm Tim Prexton.''He said to her.''The one you met here a couple of days ago.''He felt more angrier than ever because of something.

Eliza. Dammit, why didn't she recognise the name!? Holli scowled and her face looked determined as she looked at Maine. This was her protective side coming out. 'We need to help her.' she said simply.
'Oh, Tim, I know you, why wouldn't I?' Holli asked, cocking her head to the side. 'Kay, now she was confused.

''Yeah.''No idea.''Tim said.''Why are you confused?''He suddenly felt his Body go all weird it felt like he floated around everywhere.

How did he know she was confused...? 'A-Are you a mind reader?' she asked fearfully. Blimey, she'd have to keep her thoughts under control. Damn.

Holden HUFFED.

So, this was serious? Really? They were actually having a picket line? The man stood a bit off to the side, simply observing the scene before him. This just... he wasn't quite sure what to say about it, but he knew he just wanted to go to work. And with all of the commotion and ruckus going on outside, how was he supposed to get anything accomplished.

His eyes narrowed, simply staring at them all in disbelief. Did he have feelings on the minster? No. After all, he hadn't worked here long enough to meet the man, let alone find out what was so wrong with him. Plus, working in his office/level kind of made Holden question his loyalty. But according to all of these rather annoying folks, he was a terrible minister.

Esteban noticed yet another man come up to picket line. All though he didn't look ready to join nor hostile though. It was nice to see someone who wasn't so angry with them.

He smiled at him, he wondered what department that the man worked in. "Care to join us?" Esteban asked, he certianly won't push or force anyone to join them, that was not Esteban's style but he just thought he would strike up a conversation. Esteban after all was not a mean man, he just was standing up for what he believed in out here.

And Maggie would've taken that hand off her arm if her eyes hadn't been set on Ren again. The 'Thank you' part was one she didn't understand for they were still standing outside. Shouldn't he thank her if they get inside the Ministry somehow?

This barrier thing had to end, sooner or later. Or she'll find a way in, sooner or later. Or someone else will find a way in for them, sooner or later. Hopefully, it'll be sooner than later.
