Melanie was shocked. How could someone do such a thing! It was also one of the unforgivable curses which can end in prison in Azkaban. "I hope we can find out who has done it. We are only here to strike against Borr. We do not deserve this treatment!"

Lights shook her head sympathetically. "I hear you. When we catch who did it, we'll make sure they're punished." I.e., Azkaban. Unforgivables were serious. "I'm Lights, by the way," she volunteered, holding out her hand. Making friends, even in the middle of a semi-crisis.

Gretchen was starting to think the Ministry workers had all lost their minds. Especially as the first man who had spoken started guessing names, thinking she'd just outright give them anything they were fishing for. "I can't say I've ever heard of a man named Martial," she said conversationally. She knew he'd meant Martel, and of course she was there to see him. However, the man had given her an opening to talk him in to letting her past. All she'd have to do is thin k of someone in the Ministry that wouldn't arouse suspicion , and she had an idea or two. The pushy woman wasn't helping, however, and neither was the other man who had immediately gone to the extremes regarding the Cult.

Of course, she wasn't entirely unaware of the disappearances, and the idea that people she knew were connected. They weren't herself, though, which had been her argument. She looked askance at the clipboard being showed to her by the woman before going back to the other argument, however. "You're certainly not going to get too many visitors, or supporters, by being difficult," she pointed out to the woman. "And regarding my dreams," she continued, turning back to the man. "I cannot imagine you have any idea what I may or may not dream of. Obviously you aren't thinking correctly." And she shifted to align herself with Alexander, Ren and the workers still speaking with them, trying to get them inside. She'd keep close, if it meant not missing their meeting. The chaos of the Imperiused workers might help them slip inside, as well, if it distracted everyone enough. She might not agree with the tactics, but as long as violence didn't break out and as long as they got inside, she could overlook the curse.

Why shouldn't she be let go. Feeling the grips of people tighten around her, she wrenched her arms away from the annoying people gripping them. "Let go of me!" she cried, yanking her arm away.

"Just let them in!"

No, don't do it, Maine. Hang in there for Leo. You can do this, the cult is controlling you.

But the cult is goooood!

No it's not, Maine. Focus.

Trying to fight off whatever it was, she focused her energy long enough to yell. "Don't listen to me, please!" Writing in pain, she cringed as her eyes glassed over again.

"Let the cult in," she yelled. "Let them in! What's wrong with all of you? They're making the world a better place!"

No they're not. Maine! Get a grip!

Holli broke free of Rupert's grasp as she heard Maine yelling. That was her best friend. She knew that. She had been freed of the curse, and she had to help Maine.
'Maine, Maine, listen! Please, you remember me, right?' she said quickly, worrying that she could be taken any second. She had to get Maine back. She had to.

Maine faintly heard someone trying to tell her something. Should she remember her? Pulling her wand out, she stared blankly at Holli. "Why should I listen to you?" she asked, wand pointed directly at her best friend.

"Stu-" No Maine, this is your best friend!

But she's stopping the cult. She's eeeeevil.

But it's Holli, and she's like a sister to you!

Wand still pointed at Holli, she glared menacingly. Her wand was one extremely powerful, and had a certain boost to ordinary spells. "Why shouldn't I hex you right here and now?"

Holli breathed in slowly. So THIS was how she had been acting.
'Because I'm your best friend, and you're mine, and you'd regret hurting me later... We know that the cult has killed people, tortured, we need to stop them, not help them... What if they went after Leo?' Yeah, she went there. Maybe it'd convince her...

Maine still had her wand pointed directly at Holli, staring glassily at her.

"You lie." she said coldly. "The cult is trying to make the world a better place." she insisted.

Upon hearing Leo's name, the magic wavered long enough for Maine to blink twice before uttering a quiet whisper. "No. Not Leo!" she whispered. "Get him out of here, Holli. I'm a monster!"

Not even a moment later, Maine's eyes glassed over again. "Let the-" DON'T DO IT, MAINE! "Cult in!"

'I don't, Maine, please. Don't do this.' Holli pleaded.
'I-I'll try, Maine, hang in there-' Then she looked at the wand in front of her and nodded.
WHO THE HECK IS DOING THIS!?
'You're right, Maine...' Holli said simply, eyes dazed.
Dammit, I should have listened to Rupert...

Ben saw that Holli was back, she looked fine but she was conflicting with another woman. Another imperiused? Most Probably. He raced over to the two women, just in time to see Holli's eyes glaze over matching the other woman's.

"No Holli dammit!" he spoke through gritted teeth. He regarded them both, "You two, look at me!" he said, "You know that this isn't what you want. You know what the cult is doing isn't right. You've got to fight against the curse! I know you can!"

Maine turned to face the man, diverting her wand to point at him. What was he trying to say? The cult was making the world a better place.

"I'm not being influenced," she snapped. Regaining control, she loooked worriedly at the person who was trying to help. Eyes returning to normal, she sighed.

"I know. I'm trying! I haven't done this since my 6th year in Beauxbatons!" she cried, lowering her wand. "The name's Maine, by the way."

"Holli, snap out of it," she said, desperately. "Come on!" Feeling the curse trying to take hold of her again, her eyes glazed over briefly but didn't affect her stance. She could do this.

Ebony turned back to the woman cultist. Ah-hah! "What? You are meeting with a department head, yet you don't know Martial? I would have thought everyone knew about him." He continued "Martial was an advisor to Minister Carlton. It was all over the news. He attended the meeting in which the MLE department was suspended." But he didn't know what Lights plans were, and he didn't want to stop whatever it was.
So he continued "However, I realize you could be meeting with any department head." He stepped back to allow Lights to continue.

'The cult must get in, they have a meeting, what's so wrong with that?' Holli glared. 'There is no curse, I have not been cursed, who would curse me?' she asked seriously, her eyes darting around the place.
Snap out of what? She wasn't snapped into anything. She looked at the woman in front of her, and her eyes went back to normal for a moment.
'Maine, I'm trying, I promise. I don't know how, they never ta-'
She had never gone to the lesson, silly Holli, she had been too busy preparing a prank.

Ben's eyes widened as the wand was directed at him, he was about to draw his own if he had not seen the women's eyes focus back to normal. "Excellent Maine! Well done!" he grinned, "Names Ben Stanley." he turned his focus to Holli.

"The voice in your head Holli!" Ben persued still, "The voice that isn't your own! Question it! Fight it!" he said. "You are still in there Holli, the cult can't control you! You know that!"

'What voice in my head, there is no voice in my head.' Holli replied, staring at him.
Ach, do you not think I'm TRYING to overthrow this curse!?

Where were all the people from Imogene's department. That was the question. Perhaps Bhor was the reason why none of the Accidents and catastrophie's workers were NOT GETTING ANY ASSIGNMENTS!!! "Bhor is Boring!" Imogine spontaniousley picked up a cookie that was lying on the ground and threw it. Yes, a protest was the perfect place to take out her anger. Either that or people in the magical world just aren't having any accidents, I don't think so!

Melanie nervously laughed. "Hello Lights. It's nice to meet you. I'm Melanie from the Ministry Maintenance department. Which department do you work for?"

"Nice to meet you too, Melanie," smiled Lights. "I'm a Security Officer, but my husband Ethan's in Maintenance." She waved her hand at the protesters. "Did you help organise this? You seem to have a level of influence over them."

Melanie laughed. "Oh no no. I hadn't helped organise this at all. This whole protest was all started by the International Cooperation head of department, Gina." Then she shook her head. "To be honest, I don't believe that I am having much influence with anyone who are protesting. I'm just doing as much as I can to go against Borr."

Tasha moved slowly towards the picket line, even though she loved her job she did not like how Borr was running things. most likely didnt being put in shackles on his first day

She wondered if any one was up on level 1? moving closer and closer to the crowd she started to feel nervous. Also wondering if Gavin was in this crowd. She felt the urge just to go up to her desk.

Rex was standing right beside Gina and kept a stern expression on his face. "Do you not understand the Queen's English? The answer is NO!"

He was a definite scrapper with and without a wand. These cultists and the head buffoon had better watch out.

Esteban smiled as he saw another Department Head join the cause. At least they were not alone in this fight. He was worried that none of the other Departments would come and help them, but now Games and Sports and Magical Law Enforcment were here to help.

He knew that they would never get help from Transportation. There were too big of fans of Lord what's his face. Esteban looked around to see where the rest of his people were. And as always, still making sure that Gina was okay.

Ami was very disappointed at the recent events of the Ministry.

"this is ghastly! how dare he..." Ami said as she was on board to join the protests and riot against the so called "new minister"

Ami was angry at the unjust choices he's made. Her eyebrows were furrowed as it expressed her anger and short-tolerance for those against having justice.

Ami wasn't sure who exactly the man was talking to but she was just so angry she began rambling.

"This minister is such a jerk! I can't believe he's still in office,I'm about to just knock him out myself. Like seriously...oh...." Ami said as she noticed she was talking really fast in her english accent that maybe the man wasn't understanding what she was saying.
