Lights saw the people she was supposed to be detaining start to filter through. Ack, not good! She stepped out from behind her cover, and walked towards the woman, who was nearest. She looked completely confident and relaxed, like she was used to doing this job. Add a good acting ability to her resumé. "Hello," she said pleasantly, smiling at the woman, who she knew to be Gretchen Montasio. Her research was coming in useful. "I'm going to need to see your pass, please. You need a pass to get through." Making it up on the spot, and yet Lights still smiled like she did this every day. "Do you have one, Miss ...?" She waited for Montasio to insert her name. She had to keep her distracted, long enough for Ethan's patronus to get to the rest of her team.

Breaking said gaze his eyes landed on Andrina and then on Gretchen. Seeing her smile he nodded at her. She was always better at dealing with stupid people than he was. It was her gift, he thought. Oh... someone said MISTER SAKURA. Funny stuff. He turned his attention to the lady speaking to Ren and nodded vehemently. "I am sorry I do not know your name, Miss... " he trailed off waiting a moment for her to provide it. "But, yes we DO need to get into the Ministry now. It is of the utmost importance that we do so. We are here on official Ministry business, you see. We do not want to force our way through, contrary to popular belief it would seem," he said as he gestured to the crowd. Especially the ones that seemed to be set on their being INTRUDERS with EVIL motives. They were there for a meeting, nothing more. Perhaps the nice lady could help them, yes? He smiled and nodded encouragingly at her.

But that wasn't the point at the moment anyway. The point was that his orders were to NOT let anyone through. And he was on team four... This was one of the people he was supposed to be watching. "Sorry Miss, but I never even saw you at the Ministry. You have evaded my question on what department you are in. And we have orders to not let you in."

She had to help them get inside. "Sonorus." She mumbled as she pointed the tip of her wand on her throat. Then she shifted and tried to catch everyone's attention. "Let them in."
Eliza said, referring to the Cultists. Her voice had became louder than usual and that was good for she wanted everyone to hear that.

"Just here for a meeting...and what do you think will come of that meeting?" Estban asked her thinking of all the rumors that were circling the cult. He knew of the dissappearances. He knew of the murders and tortures. "How many more professors or shop keepers will go missing after that meeting." Esteban accused, he knew how the MLE employees felt about this as well, so he hoped there was no chance he would get arrested for his accusations.
Gretchen was starting to believe these people didn't really know what they were up against, especially when it seemed they at least had the possibility of some on their side that were on the opposite end of the human barricade. Having Ren a department head might end up their key to getting inside, if he could control his employees as well as he could others. She still wanted to get through and inside without violence, after all. But first they needed to get past the weak attempts at stopping them by interrogation. The woman was even starting to irritate her, although she kept up her calm facade. "So if I get a visitor's pass, you would let me inside?," she asked, a faint smile on her face as she intentionally bypassed the attempts to get her name. If the woman thought she would fall for that, apparently Alexander's terms for them weren't entirely off. They were definitely weak-minded, which was troublesome. They couldn't begin a strong Wizarding rule if the workers weren't intelligent enough to support it.
As Alexander started speaking with the woman who had addressed Ren, she turned toward the man who was backing up miss 'where's your pass?'. More questions, when she knew they thought she wouldn't have answers. They really didn't know her, no matter what they believed. She was getting inside the Ministry, one way or another. "I believe even you would understand that suspending Apparition licenses is not the same as suspending the department entirely. Licenses can be earned back, before many criminals could make a move. Not to mention there are many other methods of transportation that weren't restricted." She felt like she was talking to a child, but she wasn't going to let that anger her. Even as the man took on a different angle, and she managed to avoid a sigh. "You have orders to detain even an innocent visitor to the Ministry, or is the Ministry not allowing anyone who isn't under their employ anymore? I can't evade a question when there isn't an answer. I do not work for a department, I simply am supposed to be meeting with someone who does." Which had been already established by her associates.
It seemed a commotion had begun not far from their standoff with the two questioners, and as words were exchanged, she found her brown eyes turning to the arguers. One was trying to get them inside, which earned her respect. The other, the man, seemed to have some intriguing misinformation. "Excuse me," she interrupted, leaving the other two detainers to Alexander and Ren as she moved closer to the man who had spoken of disappearances. "Do I look like someone who would be intending on doing anything to professors or shopkeepers? In fact, I am a shopkeeper. I would have no reason to wish for anyone to be put into danger. I simply am trying to get inside for an appointment," she gently continued. It wasn't her fault they weren't listening, or chose not to.

Hawk shook his head. "And who might you be trying to meet? Might it perhaps be Martial? Or is it Borr?" He refused to call him "Lord."
And yes, Hawk assumed that technically this blockade was illegal, but Borr was about to be overthrown anyway.
"Do you refuse to be involved with the Cult of Walpurgis/" Hawk said outright. Yeah, no hiding it, no beating around the bush. Just answer the question.

The fact that she could see Alexander there, and Ennis, furthered her decision that she needed to get into the building. Urgent messages were never something to ignore, but for now she moved closer to Alexander as she regarded the protesters somewhat calmer than he was. "Is something going on, that you're not letting innocent people into the Ministry? Has Lord Borr been that bad?," she asked, trying her hand at talking her way past the group. Preferably taking the others with her.
"I will not deign that question with an answer!" She said angrily... REALLY! Lard Butt was horrible!

Sighing slightly he looked around to see if he could spot his brother anywhere nearby. Nope. Not wanting to set the rowdy crowd off, he opted NOT to pull his wand and send a Patronus to Ren. What were they going to do? If they were late... well no one wanted to be late when the MAN called you together.
"Simple minded..." She said angry, "Don't underestimate us." She was an accomplished dueller.

He put a steady hand on one of their shoulders and uttered for all to hear "These people are on Ministry business. Let them through!"
Then he spotted another familiar face in the crowd. This time one of his own staff "Ms Wisteria!.." he called out across the bickering crowd. He held a hand out, trying to reach out to the new Mysteries staffer. This is definitely not how he wanted his new staff to think this was how things are normally done in the Ministry.
"No." She said and smiled.

Lights shot the man - wasn't his name Esteban? She'd go with that - a quick Look. She wasn't going to arrest him because of those accusations, but she was afraid for him. Did his name want to join those on the list of disappearances tacked up on a wall in Level Two? I think not.

"As soon as you get a pass, you can go in," replied Lights calmly. The plan was going brilliantly, and Montasio was playing right into it, even though she was unaware. Lights took out her wand and flicked it in front of her. A clipboard appeared there, as well as a Muggle tricolour pen. She wondered briefly what Montasio would think of her using Muggle items to conduct her business, since she was against it. Hehehe ... "I'll need your name, occupation and your reason for coming in today," said Lights briskly. "I know you said you were coming in for a meeting, but I need to know the purpose of that meeting and who is involved." Lights looked at the woman expectantly, tapping her pen against the clipboard and official-looking form she'd transfigured.

Lights glanced at Ebony, annoyed. If he ruined her plan, she would chase him around the park in her Animagus form, and possibly bite too. She felt like she was banging her head against a brick wall. She tried to get eye contact and send a message: I've got this one. You stand by with Ben until I need you, or go interrogate somebody else. There were plenty of wackos here to go around.

Lights saw the woman leave the chain. Holli from MT .. hadn't she been here though it all? Hadn't she been one of the most vocal protesters? And there she was abandoning the chain to let the Cultists in! Not on Lights' agenda. It wasn't part of the plan.
But since when did plans ever go right for Lights?
Stuff it. She threw her plan out the window and linked the arms the protesters on either side of where Holli had stood. "Keep your positions," she told them. She had a feeling from the sudden change of loyalty that poor Holli was being Imperised. Somebody had decided to play dirty.
Katrina, in a misty haze, walked over to the Picket Line almost robotically. Her coffee, that she brought with her almost everywhere, was no where to be seen - the first sign that there was something wrong but not everyone knew that, of course. Because instead of coffee, she had her wand in her pocket and her hand was stuck in her pocket just in case. She wasn't sure why, but she needed her wand right now.
She could hear everything around her, feel things, but she didn't feel quite herself. Cultists... gooood people... like coffee... then the others... they weren't good. They weren't good people at all.
That voice... right... Holli from her department. She was right too. "Yes, them in, they belong inside," Katrina called out, her voice seeming distant like her mind, as she agreed with the others who voiced the same opinion. The cultists were all good people, why weren't they letting them in? So stupid for not letting them in...

She didn't even know why. They just had to be let in.

Elizabeth looked at her friend again, "No one in, no one out, correct?"

'Yes, Katrina knows, they go in...' Holli said again, taking her want out. She had to get them in. They had to get in. Must. Get. Them. In.
Lights let her hand tense on her wand as a small warning gesture. Holli was definitely Imperised, she didn't know what she was doing. "Holli," said Lights soothingly. "Why don't you go home and take a nice nap? You look like you need a bit of relaxation time." She would be better out of the way so she wouldn't get hurt.

Another one?! Well he didn't look Imperised. "Hey!" called Lights. "Redhead guy! Yep, you! Can you take Holli back ... somewhere safe? Her home, maybe?" Lights moved closer and said in a low voice so Holli wouldn't hear, "She's been Imperised, I'm pretty sure of it. She isn't safe here."

Lights smiled at the woman. She at least had her own mind. But that still left the question: who was using the Imperius Curse? Lights glanced at the Cultists, sure they were to blame. Ren Sakura, maybe? Ennis Provel? Alexander Wrekin? It could be any of them, and that thought was incredibly frustrating.
Did you just lose something? The GAME? Sorry... 'Justin Bieber, he is the man!' U mad, Felton!?

'Incorrect, they are allowed in, no-one else!' Holli said loudly, making sure she was heard. They must be let in!

'I don't need to go to sleep, I need to make sure these nice people get in.' Holli said loudly, holding her wand tighter. She'd do it, she had to get them in. They needed to get in, they were goooooood people!

She didn't even know why. They just had to be let in.
Rupert felt helpless. What was going on? Ah well. He'd stay and find out.

Elizabeth turned to the lady that spoke up, "They are?" Her eyebrows were raised in surpise, did she hear Ms. Gina wrong or is the lady one of them? Elizabeth kept her hand over her wand just in case... something was off but which side is correct? Were the cultists good people and blocking them from ging in bad or is it the other way around?

Holli nodded. Good, they were close to getting them in. So close. Just one person needed to leave the line, and the cult could get in. Holli was doing a gooooooood job.

Elizabeth nodded slightly, still not sure, so decided to keep still, "Hmm, i thought i heard Ms. Gina say no one is allowed in. I didn't hear any expections and well she is my boss, so i better do what she said." She smiled, "Sorry, Madame."

Holli's face turned into a frown quickly. She needed to get them in. 'But they are allowed in, we were told earlier, these are people who need to look after the Ministry!' she said desperately, still having a dazed look in her eyes.

Redheaded guy? Hmm......
He nodded. "Okay." he said, taking Holli by the arm. "Cmon, let's go Holli." he said. He was still totally confused. He didn't know what was going on but he followed this person's orders....she looked like she could be trusted.

Holli shook her head. Whoever this man was, she wouldn't be allowed to go, she had to help get them in. 'No, the cult members must be let in...' she said quietly.
Hawk looked at Lights in a slightly irked way. It was my plan, you know! He simply thought it was a good idea to show some resistance, just for show. Maybe the mention of the Cult was overdose, but he knew that the Cult weren't dumb. He doubted they would just walk right into the plan if they weren't questioned first.
But, Lights was furthering the plan wonderfuly. He nodded to show that he understood. Yes, this one Lights could take. He moved off to watch Ennis Provel.
