Picket Line

Some employees of the Ministry of Magic are very angry and upset at the changes happening with the Ministry since Lord Berty Borr became minister. He is an unjust man and MUST be stopped. This is where these employees voices can be hears. Protest with us! Don't let the Wizarding government be led by a total buffoon! Stand United with us and STRIKE FOR IMPEACHMENT!!!

Esteban was ready for this...no he didn't have a sign yet, but he was ready for strike. Lord what's his face was going down. He just hoped that his fellow employees would get here soon. Stirking by yourself was a little difficult and it made him feel a little foolish.

He took up his stance and was ready for this day.

Finally they were doing something completely productive! Though it had been fun making things as difficult as possible for the ministry, he wanted to do something to save his department heads job. Borr had no right to treat anyone like the dragon dung he had been. Hoisting his sign, he saw Esteban already there. "Nice day for a strike, I'd say."

Esteban saw his fellow employee and smiled he took the last few steps over to him and smiled. "I'd say that you are right." Esteban couldn't help but be happy, they were finally doing something, making it happen.

"DOWN WITH BORR." Esteban shouted, they were after all suppose to be striking, and what was a strike with out yelling!

Gina was so excited to see her staff at the picket line! "DOWN WITH BORR! DOWN WITH BORR!!!" she repeated with them. Solidarity! "Thank you for being here Estaban, Gavin. I appreciate it immensely."

A grin appeared on his face as their department arrived. "DOWN WITH BORR!!!" he shouted joining them. They needed to get rid of Borr, he had no clue what he should do to run this ministry and was making everyone look bad because of his stupidity.

He felt proud at the moment to be in their department, they were the leaders of the strike, the very first. He was sure the rest of the departments would join them soon though.

Alicia was walking up to the ministry to visit when she saw her old team and couldn't help but smile. Hello picket line.

"Hello Department Head Latorta" she smiled. "Can an ex-employee join the ranks?" She asked smiling. Well she was working for the french ministry for a bit right now doing travel brochures so it was probably alright. And she was anti-Borr. Obviously.

Elizabeth walked up to the picket sign and saw a few people and her department head there. "Nice sign." She said to the one with the 'down with borr' sign. "Hello Ms. Latoria." She smiled to her department head. ELizabeth was new to the ministry but she didnt like Lord Borr, one bit, he was a mean person.

Rex finally showed up and walked over to Gina. "So it's begun" he said and he looked at a few of the protest signs. "Perhaps we should add a work-stoppage to really make our point."

And maybe release a few of the illegal patent items into his office....

Gina unveiled her floating cookie platter for anyone who wanted a nibble.



"Of Course Alicia! Pick up a sign, or make one for yourself! Let's overthrow Borr and get him out of power!!!" She said determined. "DON'T WORK FOR BORR!!! WE THE PEOPLE WANT MORE!!!" She screamed.


"Good Morning Elizabeth!" She said stomping about. "Pick up a sign, or make one and JOIN THE CAUSE!!!"


"I've locked my department, we can encourage others not to work, but we can't force them Rex..." She said sadly. "Thank you for being here." She said and hugged him. "Have a biscuit!"

Melanie rushed out the door as a fresh gust of wind blew in her face. Melanie breathed deeply. Already her headache was ebbing away.

Melanie opened her eyes and looked around. She saw many people making signs and shouting "DOWN WITH BORR!"


"So this must be the strike against Borr," she thought. Of course she was going to support this cause. She had just helped cleaning the minister's office, cleaned up his toe nail clippings, and shined his shoes. It was a servant's job even though she was part of the Maintenance crew, of course this wasn't the type of treatment she deserved.

"DOWN WITH BORR!" Melanie hollered. Even though she didn't have a sign, she'll do whatever she can to support this strike.

"Well thank you Gina - I'll go grab one" she smiled grabbing a Down with Borr sign and began to cheer with her old team mate who disliked Borr as much as she had.

"Down with Borr" she cheered...this was enthralling.

Rose walked towards the picket line, thinking that this was the worst idea she'd ever come up with. Honestly, what was she thinking? She didn't like Borr..in fact, she thought that he was a complete psycho but to protest against him would mean putting her job on the line and she wasn't ready to do that. Anyway, there was no point in worrying about it when she was already there. Sigh. She also knew that Armen was a huge Borr supporter. Eeek. No wonder she couldn't spot anyone from her own department.

Rose heard someone scream 'Down With Borr' and she couldn't help but give a huge smile. She was glad that someone had actually decided to do something about the whole Borr situation.

"Those look absolutely delicious!" as Melanie grabbed one of the biscuits.
"Let me introduce myself. I'm Melanie Rosaline Caparelli and I'm part of the Magical Maintenance department, but of course I am disliking Borr a huge amount. I had just finished cleaning his office and I didn't even receive an ounce of gratitude from him. Even though I'm new here, I'm glad that someone is taking action to try and stop this evil man."

Melanie raised her fist up to emphasize her point.

Marina had the steaming cup of coffee from the cafe around the corner as she walked toward the ministry as usual. Walking closer and just slightly to the outside she saw something VERY unusual. She made her way toward the line and heard some shouts and saw signs - all against Borr.

The young woman paused at the end of the line, watching but not daring to make a decision yet.

"Will do." Elizabeth smiled and went to get a sign.

"Hey Melanie." Elizabeth smiled and waved at the woman whom she just met inside. "Down with Borr!" She said.

Grinning as more people joined them on the picket line and started shouting, Gavin grabbed a biscuit "Thank you." he said with a nod to Gina. Just giving the woman who said nice sign to him, a smile, he turned back to where he was and shouted "DOWN WITH BORR! ABHOR THE BORR!!!"

Taking a small bite of the biscuit he raised the sign up again higher.

Elizabeth took a cookie. "Thanks." She said to her department head. She smiled back at the man and shouted "Throw out Borr!"

"That's the spirit!!" She said and danced around. "Thank you for joining this cause! Maybe if no one shows up to work we can stop him!"

"There you go!!!" She said excitedly.

"Join us dear! Are you sad with the condition of the ministry? Well it isn't the worker's fault. Borr is to blame! They say fish rots from the head. SO LET'S CUT IT OFF!!! DO AWAY WITH BORR!!!!" She said adamately!

"Making coats? Hanging Portraits?? Don't you want this madness to stop?! Borr is to blame! They say fish rots from the head. SO LET'S CUT IT OFF!!! DO AWAY WITH BORR!!!!" She said adamantly!



"There you go!" She said excited. "Go to the break rooms of each level, or in their work area, TELL THEM TO COME TO THE PICKET LINE!!!"


"Gavin! You come up with the best slogans!" She said clapping.

Tapping her throat with her wand she spoke in a megaphone like voice. "Ahem... Am I...? Is it... working? Yes? Good. WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! COME STOP THE MADNESS AND OVERTHROW THE MINISTER!!! DOWN WITH LORD BORR!!!!"

Elizabeth nodded to her department head's instructions. "Will do." She turned and entered the ministry.

Tim walked out to the street and joined the large number of people that wanted Borr out.He yelled out of the top of his lungs ''Get Borr out now !''He was just as angry as anyone here.

Rose stared at the woman but she had no idea what she was to say. Was she supposed to yell like everyone else? Um. "Yes. Yes, I am really sad and I agree with you. Borr should be kicked out of the Ministry. That's why I'm here." Obviously. Anyway, that's it. She wasn't going to scream and shout but she was definitely going to support these people..they were doing the right thing after all.

Damon approached the picket line, his eyebrows raised slightly. Well...it looked like people had finally decided to do something about this situation. Damon approached and stood amongst the crowd, looking up at everything. Even after his chat with their department head Damon didn't feel convinced that there was a reason to defend this Borr character...at all. Not to mention any group that had members that supported hurting muggleborns was not the group for him!

Lights walked towards the group. She knew that she was possibly putting her job on the line for this, and that her coworkers probably wouldn't be too pleased with her, and that she had a husband and two kids under four to provide for, and if she lost her job they'd only have her husband Ethan's income, but right now she only cared about taking down that obnoxious man who dared call himself their Minister of Magic. Lights took out her wand and pointed it in the air. Rainbow-coloured mini fireworks burst from it, and as they exploded they shrieked one message.
"DOWN WITH BORR!"
Lights grinned. Yep, despite everything, this would be worth it.

Joey walk outside of the ministry and join the Picket line.So open her bag and got a folded chair and some snacks.
