The young department head smiled at the the woman, "You can call me Iridesca...." she said with a slight nod. "So what can I help you with?" she asked sweetly making eye contact with the woman.

Iridesca shook her head up and down slightly as the woman answered her question. She glanced down occasionally to look through Emerald's file or to make some little notes. When the woman was done she spoke sweetly, "Great answers...sounds like you are a very strong woman that we are lucky to have in our department..." she said with a little shrug of her shoulders.

"Okay last question, this is a situation question. Let's say that you receive the liaison position with Minister Lord Borr...." she paused for a moment before going on."Would you have problems standing up for things or programs for our department against Lord Borr? He is a very intimidating, and sometimes degrading, man. How would you handle this responsibility?" she said glancing up again.

The head glanced up and down from her notes to Gavin, shaking her head occasionally and adding a 'Yes' in the appropriate places. "Great answers Gavin." she said encouragingly.

"Okay last question, this is a situation question. Let's say that you receive the liaison position with Minister Lord Borr...." she paused for a moment before going on."Would you have problems standing up for things or programs for our department against Lord Borr? He is a very intimidating, and sometimes degrading, as I'm sure you have heard or dealt with before, man. How would you handle this responsibility?" she said glancing up again.

Iridesca unrolled the note and quickly read through the note. She reached for her notepad and bright blue pen. She took a deep breath and then headed out the door towards the meeting.

OOC: Iridesca is still here to finish up interviews, I'll just clone her.

Emerald gave a tiny smiled.

Emmy was a little confused with the last question. "I...I really didn't understand the last question." She hoped that she doesn't seem to slow because of this.

If there was anything Gavin learned from his years alongside Ryan in his cases it was to be better able to read people. And right now he was seeing at the woman across from him was pleased, the thought confirmed as she spoke up once he was through answering. At her last question, he gave pause. It wasn't completely a hard question, just one that could have a double intention depending on the department head's views on things.

"No I would not have a problem," he finally answered truthfully. "I have indeed dealt with him as well as heard about things. But regardless if something has merit and I believed in it I will fight for it for all its worth." Gavin wasn't going to back down intimidated especially not after Tasha stood up to him and got arrested for it for standing her ground and his friend Sam had his back broken by the man...but Iridesca didn't need to know that.

Iridesca smiled at him. She truly believed that Gavin would stand up for what he believed in and that he wouldn't but up with Lord Borr or that horrid woman's non-sense. She smiled brightly and shook her head, "Well Gavin, I appreciate you coming in. Before you go, I hear that congratulations are in order..." she let the last statement disappear almost as a question...she had heard he was getting married but wasn't for sure...she hoped that she was right or she would be embarrassed for bringing it up. "And other than that, do you have any other questions about the position? I don't know too much about it...I'm afraid whomever gets it and I will be learning as we go with this one...not too much info was shared..." she said trying to sound positive but she was nervous about this job.

Iridesca thought for a minute and then rephrased it, "Have you had to deal with Lord Borr before?" she asked hoping the woman had met him atleast once. "He can be very difficult, and...well...kind of stubborn...and that's putting it nicely....would you have a problem standing up to the Minister for our department? " she said with a serious face. This was very important to their department and to Iridesca.

Nope. Never met in her whole life. But Emerald did, however, heard of his stubborness and harshness. "Well of course!" Emerald replied at once. "If something is unright or unfair, of course we have to do something about it!" Emmy was no Gryffindor at Hogwarts, but she does have basic courage.

Gavin nodded as the woman told of her appreciation, not able to keep from smiling as she mentioned congratulations however questioning. "You heard correctly," he assured her, "My girlfriend Tasha and I are engaged...thank you."

He then shook his head at her question once she returned to the job-related topic. "At the moment, none come to mind," the reminiscator answered, listening as she admitted to her own uninformed state. "When has a job not been some sort of learning experience...." he mused in return. He certainly tended to learn things every once in a while even after being experienced in situations.

Iridesca smiled and felt relieved when he did confirm what she had heard, "O that is just exciting for Tasha and you!! I'm so excited for you both!..." she said excitedly, "Please let me know what shops ya'll register at so that I can get you a gift for your new life together..." she said with a simple nod up and down.

"Well, if you don't have any more questions, then I guess that's it...sweet and simple..." she said pausing glancing down at her notes with a satisfied look. "I will be posting who receives the job by the end of the week and turn in the name to the Minister's Office ASAP so I'm sure whomever gets it will be contacted by them shortly afterward...thank you again for applying...I'm very happy that you did...." she said trying to keep an even voice.

"Good to hear...he can be a little bit to handle..." she said with a little shoulder shrug. "I appreciate you coming in. And other than that, do you have any other questions about the position? I don't know too much about it...I'm afraid whomever gets it and I will be learning as we go with this one...not too much info was shared..." she said trying to sound positive but she was nervous about this job.

Oh right. She had forgotten that part. "Well, my name is Charlotte, and I'm new to the Ministry, but I'd like to apply for the...liason position."

It seemed Iridesca, a woman who'd only really worked with himself not both of them was as excited for the couple just as much as he expected Wes and Sion would be when he managed to catch them to tell them. The former ill as the ministry notices said and the later the one that actually got them together. "I'll...certainly keep that in mind," he said totally new to this kind of thing and he and Tasha hadn't had much time to talk about plans.

"Very well," Gavin replied taking her words as his dismissal as it was probably meant as, the man getting back up to his feet. "You're welcome then," he said as she thanked him for applying for the position. The man making a mental note to keep an eye out for said notice whenever it did in fact appear on the message board. "Good day Iridesca," he said before turning and leaving the office.

Emerald laughed a bit. "Well I will try my best." Though Emmy have never experienced anyone more stubborn than her sister. "No, no more questions." Said Emmy, it finally ended.

"Well, if you don't have any more questions, then I guess that's it...sweet and simple..." she said pausing glancing down at her notes with a satisfied look. "I will be posting who receives the job by the end of the week and turn in the name to the Minister's Office ASAP so I'm sure whomever gets it will be contacted by them shortly afterward...thank you again for applying...I'm very happy that you did...." she said sweetly.

Iridesca smiled at Gavin as he walked out of the office. She was so excited that after the restructuring she was still able to work with him and even more excited for his new adventure in his life that he would be starting with his soon to be bride. She smiled after the door shut and then felt that loneliness twinge inside of her, but she squashed it down knowing that others were waiting.

Iridesca smiled at the woman, "Well Charlotte, let's begin..." she said with a flick of her wand....instantly the woman's personnel file flew into her office and landed on the pile of other applicants' files. The blue haired department head opened the file and glanced at it quickly and then looked back up making eye contact with the woman. "I have three questions that I have asked all of the applicants, so let's start there..." she said pausing as she grabbed her notebook and pen to keep notes. "Give me three good reasons why you are more qualified for the position than the other candidates"

Emerald smiled at the woman. That was finally over. "All right! Have a nice afternoon!" said Emmy politely, then she walked out the door.

Dalton smiled at her, "Sorry if I seem forward." He aplologized. He was after all new to the ministry and these people would not know him like they did at his last job. He needed to play it cool.

"Three reasons." He repeated trying to come up with something fast, so he didn't look like a total fool. "1. I'm a good people person, I get along with everything." He replied trying to even remember the last time he was angry.

"2. I learn quickly." it didn't take Dalton long to figure things out and once he knew them, he never forgot. He took a breath and said. "And 3. I'm dependable." Which he was. he rarely left work, usually was the first one here and last one to leave.

He looked up at her, debating if it was worth it to be so forward at his request in the begining, or if he should have worked for a couple weeks before he had done so. Trying to decide which on was more in his favor.

Iridesca smiled as the woman walked out her door. It was so exciting to have such new and anxious employees in the department. She glanced at her notes on the woman and put some stars by different things and then wrote a few notes out to the side. Then she glanced up and waited for the next candidate to come in.

The blue haired head smiled, "O I see no problem with being forward....actually I call it trying to prove yourself and being anxious to get started...I was the same way when I started in this department a few years back..." she said with a simple nod up and down. She reached for a cup and took a drink before listening to his answers.

As he answered her first question she nodded her head up and down occasionally and said a "good" here and there as she scribbled down notes and continued flipping through the man's personnel file.

When he was done with his answers, she smiled and made eye contact with him, "Good answers, Dalton." she paused and then asked then continued checking her little list of questions to insure she was asking them in the correct order and in the exact same way to all candidates.

"Alright, on to question two...." she said with a friendly wink and then asked, "What would you say are your top two strengths and top two weaknesses? she said interested to hear what his answers were...she was trying to judge if the man really was just anxious or a little over confident.

After leaving the MLE office, Emily had suddenly realised, she didn't know where she wanted to go. She needed a room, a large room... where she could train. Otherwise Damien would have her head for wasting time. It was only after exploring level three that she realised they hada training room! Now that was handy, how come MLE couldnt have one? It just didn't make sense for them NOT to have one. Perhaps she'd have a word with Van afterward.

But Level three wasn't bad.. it was close at least. But now as Emily wandered over to the Department Heads office, she wondered if this was a good idea. If this person --because she clearly didn't know who any of these people were, was anything like Damien, then she would probably regret coming here. Perhaps doing it in the bathroom would have been quicker, or at least easier-- in one aspect at least.

Finding herself face to face with the Office door, Emily quickly scanned the office before knocking.

*knock knock knock*

... Right... no backing out now.

The blue haired department head glanced up from her glass of strawberry tea and the mound of paperwork on her desk as she heard a knock on the door. She took one more drink and then stood up slowly clicking over to the door in her blue heels. She checked herself in the mirror across from her and then put on her signature smile and opened the door.

Standing there was an unfamiliar face, "Hello, how can I help you?" she asked her usual cheerful voice.

Emily hadn't waited for long... she starred at the Ministry Department Head plaque fixed to the door. Iridesca MacMillan. The suddenly, the door itself opened, and she was pleased she got the chance to read the womans name.

But now... the woman. Had bright blue hair?! ... metamorpohmagus no doubt. Impressive skill. Emily couldn't help but think she'd seen the woman before. From where? she had no idea. But the blue was definitely familiar.

Help her? Merlin, this woman was friendly, nothing at all like Damien.
"Uhh.. sorry for the intrusion Miss MacMillan," she started, opting for professionalism. "My names Emily Browne, I'm a Youth Auror Trainee, and I was wondering if you could please give me permission to use your Training room for a few hours?" She crossed her fingers.
A few hours away from her desk would be good. A few hours away from Damien would be bliss, though she would probably have been safe if she had stayed, he seemed to want to get stuck in with... the new new person? Mmm whatever.

Iridesca glanced at the young girl and smiled, "Well, Ms. Browne, that is a very impressive position that you have especially for such a young age..." she said impressed by the young woman. "Before I give my okay, let me ask what kind of practicing you'll be doing in our training facility?" she hoped she wasn't being too nosey but it was a safety issue after all...well that and Iridesca was curious...very curious...she really thought MLE had their own training facility...but she didn't mind sharing at all.

"Thank you," replied Emily, somewhat taken aback by the womans compliment. It was something she wasn't accustomed to hearing, it was foreign. Merlin, the closest thing she's heard to a compliment since she left school was *grunt* ... and that was pretty good.
"Just brushing up on some defensive and offensive spells... our training fascility isn't in a state to accomodate me at the moment."
Meaning they were using it for something more advanced. She'd get to try it out later though... hopefully. She really wanted to prove herself. But first thing first, was practice. If Damien was going to test her when she returned- which she knew he would, then she would need to be on her toes and alert. And there was nothing like a trainign session to get the blood pumping.

It suddenly occured to Emily, she did recognise the woman. She was there... at Hogwarts, when she and Jacob dragged the muggles into Tate's office. Thats where she recognised the blue hair from... curious.
She didn't say anything though.

Iridesca thought through the woman's answer...well it couldn't harm anything and no one had tried out their training facility yet since they remodeled it so this was the perfect opportunity to see what it could handle and what it could do. She shook her head up and down slightly as she thought this through.

"Well, Ms. Browne, I don't see any problems with you using it. You can feel free to see if anyone would like to help you practice from the department as well...I'm sure someone has some time to help you out." she said and then added, "Does Damian know that you are down here?" she asked wondering how the personality-less man ended up with such a great young woman in his department and wondering how it was working out for the two of them having to deal with each other.

Ohh so she could practice with other people... that would be handy. Even if they just cursed, hexed and jinxed her for the next hour, at least dodhing, blocking and reflecting them would greatly help her cause. Though she was getting used to being hexed. Ugh. "Thank you, I really appreciate it."

Oh that was priceless. Emily couldn't help but laugh.
"He sent me off... though he suggested I use the bathroom, or anything thats not near him really." Grumpy old man. "Personally I don't think thats very practical, so thats why I'm here."
And she was definitely not regretting this, at least now she knew she could escape the office if she had to/wanted to.
"He wont miss me." And he'd call for her if he got bored.

Iridesca smiled at the girls Thanks and then waited for her answer. She tried to hide a little grin knowing exactly how the MLE Department Head was. "Well, no that's not practical at all." she paused as she shook her head up and down, "I'm sure if he needs you he will hunt you down..." the young dh said knowing that he would be annoying if he needed the young girl.

"Well, go ahead and give our facility a try and if everything works out, then you are more than welcome to come back and use it any other time." she said holding her hand out to shake the young woman's hand.

"I'm sure he will..." she really didn't doubt that, and 'hunting her down' was exactly his style. It wouldn't surprise her if he dragged her back to MLE bound in rope. But then again, perhaps he wouldn't want to waste his time walking all that way.

Emily shook the womans hand. "Thank you, again, I have a feeling I may be back at some point." After a brief smile and a nod of the head, Emily turned on her heel and decided to see if anyone wanted to join her. A partner would be helpful, but if not then she would get by.

Jenna made her way to the office of Miss Mac Millan and couldnt help but be nervous.This for sure wasnt her first interview,remembering she worked for a fashion magazine as journalist before she joined the ministry,but this was different.The blonde was about to interview one of the department heads,meaning a really important person.

Miss Mc Millan had sounded nice in her letter but the 23year old couldnt stop the feeling.This was her first task at the ministry and she definitely didnt want to mess up.As she arrived at the door she breathed deeply in and out one more time and straigthend her red dress.Knock Knock.

While waiting for someone to open the door the Media Liaison prayed that everything would be okay one last time.

Iridesca was startled to hear a knock on her door. She was deep into reading a report from some incidents that had happened in Diagon Alley over the past few days. She was surprised that she hadn't jumped from the surprise...but alas she just kept her cool and glanced at the door as if she could see through it.

She stood up slowly and walked over to the door. She glanced at the mirror on the back of the door checking her reflection and then opened the door slowly with a smile on her face.

She was a little surprised to see a young woman standing there. She smiled in the woman's direction and then extended her right hand, "Well Hello! I'm Iridesca MacMillan...." she said politely waiting for the new face to shake her hand.
