Amy sighed as her body pushed through the barrier, she ran a hand through her hair and then, finally on her own, pushed her trolly past the barrier and out to the train. She stood for a second astounded by its sheer mass and beauty, its body as red as blood with steam billowing from it's funnel and the words, the most beautiful words Amy had ever seen HOGWARTS EXPRESS, in a clear black script, highlighting her path for the year. Past all the poetic shiz, Amy felt a shiver run down her spine. This was her home. Granted, she had exams to "deal with" at the end of the year, but she would cross that bridge when she came to it.
As she was pushing the trolley she heard a familiar little voice and she turned to see Nessie with her...dad? Hmmm. Well, they were obviously having a moment. She didn't laugh but it was slightly funny. Just slightly...Oh, Nessie looked like she wanted to be saved.
Nessie! Amy called, making her way over, I thought that was you I saw
Ness smiled as she heard Amy's voice. Amy was had come to save her. She gave Amy a big hug. "Amy!" she was glad to be free. Her parents were so embarressing and she wanted to get as far away as possible. She started walking a little further from her parents hoping Amy would follow.
"Ness, where are you off to?" asked her Dad. He wanted to make sure she didn't go anywhere and then miss the train. He then noticed she was standing next to a girl, It must have been one of her friends."Hi, I'm Nessie's dad" he said being polite. He looked at his wife, she was busy having a prep talk with his younger daughter Juliet.
"Im just going to chill with my friend okay?" she said, a little irritated with her dad. She just wanted him to leave her alone. She was glad her mom was busy with her little sister, because she wasn't going to manage if both her parents had to embaress her. Her dad was embarressing enough, especially after he introduced himself to Amy. Her cheeks were now as bright as her hair. "Sorry about this" she whispered to Amy.
Hugo pushed his trolley forward and eagerly hopped on the platform. He looked at the Hogwarts Express gleaming through the steam, rays of sunlight shining through the windows of King's Cross. Hugo couldn't help but smile. His mum and dad behind him had caught up with him in the time he had been standing still, being all melancholic and sentimental.
Marie put her arm around his son. She had to hold her tears untill the train departed, because with the puberty Hugo would probably think she was being stupid. But they grew up so fast. She had seen Elijah and Lily going in and out of Hogwarts in a flash, she wanted to make it last as long as possible, because before you realize it they were in Finland studying wand woods which had become Hugo's latest obsession. She didn't need to say much about school, Hugo knew that that this was the year before the OWL's and it was becoming more important and she knew that he knew. So for now... She could just stand by and sob quietly. "Got everything?" she asked, scanning him from toe to head. Trunk. Broom. Owl. Books. Clothes. Stationary. More books. Yes. Well, this was it.
"I think so," Hugo replied and scanned himself too. He looked at his mum's sad face. "Don't worry mum, I'm not going off just yet," he said in a sweet tone and secretely rolled his eyes. "I should wait. Untill my friends are here," he said and nodded. Like, Eino. Or Fee. Or Kurumi. Or anyone who could detach him from these annoying parents.
Dude. The Pensevies aint got nothing on you. Aslan is the God
WOOAH. Biiiiiiiggg hug. You know, which Amy was cool with...except for the fact that she could pretty much feel her ribs cracking. But you know. Amy was fine. Toooootally fine. When Ness got off her, she proceeded to walk away? Oh. Her olds. Raaighht. Amy had done that, and she'd just shaken her dad off back on the muggle side. She was cool with that though. Now she was over here, she didn't feel lonely, and she was happy now.
Oh Nessie moved fast. Amy had to jog to keep up, but soon heard the deep voice Amy had heard Nessie "bantering" with, Hi Amy said, with a big smile, adopting the parent friendly voice, Amy Samson, I'm in Ness's house Amy nodded, extending her hand for him to shake. Cuz that was what her parents told her to do, shake hands and smile. And shut up infront of the "right people".
Amy was torn, she did want to meet Ness's parents, but frankly, Nessie probably felt like Amy felt everytime her parents met her friends, it's cool she nodded to the little ginge. Nawww, she loved Nessie. It was lovely to meet you Mr Dixon Amy said with a smile before following Nessie

Faina looked around, trying to spot her friends Ronnie and Jordan. Maybe they're not here yet, she thought to herself. She would just have to sit and wait for them. Her brother Fallon was already off, chatting with his friends.
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.

He's quite envious to look at them both. How he wished he also had his older brother to stomp his feet to. "Daichi is a fast learner" he smiled. Of course, he was on his side. Daichi was more like a younger brother to Jonathan.
Ayumi looked at her wrist watch and as she did, she was still getting her things fixed back at the house and if she doesn't finish packing on time Ryu will definitely leave her behind. After meeting with Jonathan's friend, Daichi, his brother and of course his father. Ayumi excused herself "I also have to leave." with that said, she kissed Jonathan on the cheeks. The Takahashi's don't have younger siblings to play with. That's why they love having Jonathan around. "I'll miss you" she smiled.
Jonathan can't help but wipe his cheeks. EWWW. Jonathan is an OCD person. So that was just disgusting.
Before Jonathan could have answered Daichi's father, Alexander (Jonathan's father) decided to reply on his question "My son is already in the fifth year. Slytherin" of course, Alexander has always been a proud Slytherin. Not one in there family hasn't been sorted into a different house. "Pardon me but is your son also Slytherin?" Alexander asked. Typical. Jonathan usually gets shy when his father asks about his friends' house. It's just rude but then again he can't argue with his own father now can he?
Victoria came back and on her hand were 2 pairs of gloves. "Bring this with you. They're thicker than the ones you have. Perfect for winter" Jonathan's mother didn't know she was interrupting a conversation. She looked a bit awe when Alexander looked confused at her and Jonathan leading her onto the side because she was literally on the center of the conversation. "I apologize for that." she looked at Daichi, his father and his brother. "Friends of yours?" she whispered to Jonathan.
Jonathan nodded for confirmation.
Speaking of fifth years. "Yes. OWLs" Jonathan and OWLs don't match up. He did study for them but he doesn't know if he will ever pass the other subjects such as CoMC or Hebology or Arithmancy. He always find it hard with those 3 subjects. He barely did well last term.
Daichi couldn't help but chuckle softly when Jonathan said that he was a fast learner. If only they knew.... But he was happy that Jonathan said that, it made him feel important or something. He looked as the cousin announced that she had to go too. He smiled and waved at her when she walked away and turned his attention back to the others.
His father was interested to note that Jonathan was in his fifth year already. "Ah, time flies by" he said absentmindly and smiled at the boy. But his smile turned in to a frown when the boy's father said the rude 'Is your son a slytherin too?' question. He raised an eyebrow, great, a family who was obsessed with pureblooded slytherins. Like the other houses werent great?! He was careful not the mention that he had been a Gryffindor himself during his school days. He was about to open his mouth when Daichi jumped in.
"I'm a second year Slytherin , Sir!" he said with excitment and his eyes twinkled. Daichi hadn't even noticed the change of atmosphere with his father. "I always wanted to be in that house! My big brother was in it too, that's why i wanted to be in it. It's such a cool house." he pointed towards Jonathan this time. "Look what i've got!" he said and ran towards his trolley to pick the owl cage up and walked back with it. "I've got an owl! His name is MinSu , isn't he cuuuute~?" He stroked the ugly owl's feathers while smiling lovingly at the scared owl. "Dad forbid me to bring Mr.Duckles with me" he eyed his father and folded his arms over each other. "So i demanded an owl"

It was kind of sad that Ellie's mum couldn't come through the platform with her, being a muggle. But she had done it by herself for 6 years, this time wasn't really any different. Ellie was one of the few people at the platform, she was actually kind of early, but it didn't really matter. She was excited for the new term and she had a new kind of motivation that wasn't there before. She was happy, excited and just couldn't wait.
Tugging her heavy trunk along the platform, she wondered if maybe she had packed too much stuff this year. She turned around and made the poor decision to tug on it while walking backwards. Not being able to see where she was going was probably not a wise choice, but this trunk was too dang heavy.
"It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not."

Adam had never encountered a magically enchanted brick wall before, but he had to admit the experience of running towards it had been one of a kind. After all it took a certain kind of mentality to be able to run towards a seemingly sturdy and unrelenting brick wall at full speed with the full possibility that something could wrong, and you could end up flat on your rear end.
In fact Adam was still looking back at the wall, still shocked that he had made it through it one piece that he hadn't noticed the girl standing in front of him. Without much grace Adam crashed right into the girl's luggage, nearly falling flat on his face, but thankfully he had fast enough reflexes to grab hold of a light post that conveniently managed to be right there. After regaining his balance, he turned to look at the girl.
"I'm so sorry," he said, feeling absolutely horrible. "Are you alright?"

But she didn't get the chance to say or do anything since a young girl approached and... was palm reading his hand? O__o Louisa stared at the girl for a moment and then at her trunk. "I don't think you can use magic even if you know it. You're underage sweetie," That was a sign that told Louisa this girl might be a Muggleborn. Turning her attention to João, she asked concerned, "Jwaw, are you okay? Is it broken?" She knew a couple of spells that might help- never tried any, but she could risk it when they arrived at Hogwarts. That was if Mr. Neves didn't get on with it.
Looking back at the girl, Louisa gestured toward the trunk, "You might want to close that. If you have a cat in there," Because Louisa's kitty escaped in her first year leading the girl to Knockturn Alley, so it would be good to warn other children about the consequences of having their trunks open or kittens without a tracker.
That was if anybody put a kitten inside a trunk- so far, only Louisa did.
___
"It was my fault, I walked eyes-closed," he said with a voice on edge because of pain. Supporting the probably-broken hand with the other, he held it close to his body in mid-air. He wouldn't want it to be swollen now, would he? He knew they could do magic at the train, and he was going to fix it once it switched on the engine.
Hearing the exchange between the girls, he frowned. "We can use magic at train," he said in a tone half-asking. If not, it was better that he went to a hospital now... or get someone older heal it. He couldn't possibly survive the whole trip to up north in such condition.
"I think it's broken, and I know a spell to fix it. I'm not sure if we're allowed to do magic here." Better not to risk that. He didn't want to start his new school year with an official warning.
Looking back at his dad, who watched the whole in thing silence to let them figure it out, he said again in Portuguese "You may leave... I'll write to you when we arrive." That was always the same; he couldn't wait for this moment when he would be away from home, but he would always feel horribly lonely at the moment of 'goodbye' to his father. He would have wanted the man to stay until the last moment, but he had to talk to Louisa, remembering their last encounter with Adam... and he could see the girl wasn't comfortable with his father around.
"And um... if the house is suitable, I'll be back for Christmas." Although he would regret it later... he was feeling too mixed emotions to think straight now.
Eris cocked her head head ever so slightly from side to side in a discerning manner, as though weighing Louisa's statement with the three small tilts, the half grimace still on her face, though it began to fade as the older girl came into the situation. As it had seemed, the boy's face didn't seem held to a grudge and the girl's just seemed worried. Rightfully so of course.
A light seemed to shine out through the young girl's eyes in bewilderment as the older girl gestured towards the dark trunk with a voice of advise, making Eris doubt her newly bought Kneazle's safety in the confines of where she left him. Making her head do a double take towards the trunk, she walked towards it scanning the surface and hollow inside with her eyes for the golden stubborn kitten she had not even named yet.
A few sleeves of a robe hung out and a few quills had jumbled about inside the trunk. Tossing the sleeves back into their part-time home for the sake of it being able to close, Eris paid no mind to the organization the trunk once had that her mother had rather ridiculously slaved over earlier that month and to the present day.
Locking it again, as the boy's fall seemed to have prove her own locking abilities seemed to lack as of recently, Eris turned graciously to the left to see the golden kitten with his head tilted in confusion as why his human's relief was flooding about her. Safe within the silver bars of his cage where he had been the entire time, he almost seemed to shrug off the strange occurrence licking a paw as Eris re-balanced the cage on her ebony trunk.
She turned, still hunched down childishly from filling the trunk, "Thank you" Eris beamed quite genuinely, though she was still unsure what the witch meant by underage. Her mother had never once warned her against the wandless magic she would sometimes make occur, on the contrary, Isadora praised it with a vigor. Her father would smile and nod approvingly, sometimes mentioning the Ravenclaw house he had attended with high hopes and an assured spirit that she would go to the same with each magical revelation the girl experienced.
She caught on to a bit of what the new girl was saying to the older boy, seeming to know a spell for healing her self, but weary to practice it till they were aboard the Hogwarts Express.
"Eh? Could you show me on the train then?" Eris asked in a bit of awe, still wondering what the train had to do with their magical properties. "Ephiski?" she continued questioningly, as she had heard an incantation for healing several times over the course of her rather tomboyish life. At 11 though, and just receiving her wand she was not about to try anything without seeing it firsthand multiple times. Plus she had no idea how to even move the wand correctly. Silently she cursed herself for not paying attention to her parents specific wand movements, that at the time looked like a jumble of rolling and flicking.

Bah, this thing was too heavy. It didn't even matter which way she pulled it now, it was going to be hard anyway. Just as she was about to turn back around she felt herself slam into something hard. She let out a loud Umph! Ellie tripped over her feet, and then her trunk and then something else and stumbled for a good three seconds before sending her trunk to the concrete on its side.
Ellie paused before realizing... I'm alive! And she was standing, which was an amazing outcome, considering how clumsy she was. A grin spread across her face until she realized someone was speaking to her. "Oh my god. I am sorry! I though you were a wall or something." And the words were out of her mouth before she could stop them. Ellie fumbled with her overly-heavy trunk, trying to stand it up while also trying to get her foot out of her mouth. "Not that you... look like a wall. You look like a perfectly fine human being I just..." She kicked her trunk, that refused to stand up. "I should shut up." Ellie said, biting the inside of her cheek. Yep. Embarrassing.
Violet followed her governess through the wall to Platform 9-3/4 at a run. It was an incredibly odd sensation going through the wall, kind of like going several directions at once. Suddenly she burst onto the platform and was stunned by the lights, the smells, and the explosion of sound from many people talking at once. She looked down at once to see if Machiavelli was all right and found him on the bottom of his cage, squawking angrily again. "Sorry, Mack," she said.
Panicking a little, she looked around at the crowd, trying to find Miss Howard, who still had her trunk and, no doubt, some last minute instructions. Suddenly she heard her voice behind her.
"Violet, there you are. Good. Now come on, let's try to get a compartment up front."
Violet blushed a little, looking around to see if anyone had heard her governess treating her like such a child. She longed to get away from her and onto the train, before Miss Howard ruined any chance she had at finally making some friends.
"It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not."

It was official: Adam felt like a doofus. He watched in terror, unable to stop it from happening as the girl turned around right at the moment that he had finally regained his balance. Instead of being out of the way, Adam was so in the way, causing the girl to slam into him. Normally the girl would have sent Adam on his rear end with no problem at all, but because the post was behind him it acted as a support system, causing Adam to be more like a wall rather than a human being that was capable of being pushed over.
He watched with wide eyes as the girl fell back from the impact, tripping over her own feet, then the suitcase, before somehow miraculously managing to regain her balance. As Adam was about to open his mouth to apologize, yet again for being stupid enough to feel the need to stare back at that stupid enchanted wall, he stopped, the girl apologizing to him for thinking that he was a wall. Wait...she thought he was a wall? Adam's mouth fell open slightly, but then he closed once he realized that given what had happened after she had run into him he probably did feel like a wall, and they weren't all that far from the brick wall they had come through.
"No, please, don't apologize," Adam said, taking a couple of steps towards the suitcase that she was struggling to get upright. Adam bent down and picked up the trunk, lifting it so that it would be easier to be set straight. Once Adam was sure that it was in the right position and wasn't going to fall over, he turned to look at the girl. "I'm so sorry for running into you like that. I was just..." What was he going to say? Too busy staring at the brick wall? That didn't make him seem like he was crazy at all. "Trying to move to the side to not block the people coming through behind me, but instead of looking in front of me I was too busy looking at the wall." Well...it was a slight twist of the truth but it sounded better and made him seem less crazy.

So the talk was somehow father to father this time. Jonathan doesn't interrupt when his father is talking. Alexander might not like it but seriously, it's his friends. "Yeah they do fly so fast" Alexander smiled a bit to Daichi's father. "He will be taking his OWLs this year." he looked at Jonathan this time and as the little boy uttered that he's a Slytherin and so was his brother, Alexander's smile widened.
He has always like it if Jonathan made friends with Slytherins even though his wife, Victoria, doesn't want him too. Come on. There are four houses to have friends, why not have with each houses? ---> Well, that's just Victoria's thinking. So talking to Daichi just made Alexander think that most of Jonathan's friends were Slytherin. Perhaps Daichi's blood line were also Slytherins like them. Now, that would just be perfect.
"Slytherin as well" Alexander looked at the little boy as he went to his things and talked about being a Slytherin and how he is fond of the house, he talked about his owl and this Mr. Duckels person. Alexander looked confused for a moment. But they're kids so let him be. In fact, he's just happy that another Slytherin asian is also at Hogwarts. "If you do have any trouble, my son would be glad to help you." he told Daichi and looked at Jonathan. Jonathan didn't say a word but smiled to Daichi. Guess you could say it's a YES.
Jonathan snorted when Daichi mentioned Mr. Duckels. Its not that he still teases him with the stuffed animal, it's just that looking at Daichi right now just looked cute when he mentioned not bringing Mr. Duckels. Jonathan wishes he could have had a stuffed animal toy also but no. His father is too strict to everything and anything.

Victoria was first through the barrier and she took a deep breath the instant she stepped onto the platform. WOW. Just WOW. The scarlet steam engine was huge. And it looked AWESOME.
Of course she wanted to ride up front with the conductor but couldn't. Sigh. She had to store her trunk first.
"Annnnnnnie," the redhead whined, looking around for her cousin. "Annie?"
Anastasia was right behind her and she rolled her eyes as her cousin called. "Right here." She flicked her wand into her hand and pointed it at the trunk. "Want me to take care of this for you?"
"Um," Tori paused to pop a wad of Drooble's into her mouth. "Ya, I guess." She was just eager to get on board.
"All right." Anastasia silently levitated the trunk up and onto the luggage compartment of the train. Perfect. "You sure that's everything? You don't have an owl or anything?"
Or a cat? Like cool kids?
"Yep, that's it." Tori spun around from staring at the train and suddenly ran straight into her cousin to give her a great big hug. "Thanks for coming with me, Annie. It means a lot."
She wasn't about to admit how much she admired her older cousin, but a simple thanks would do.
Anastasia was caught off guard from the sudden hug, but she pat-patted Tori's back anyway. Well well. Looked like the little brat wasn't such a brat after all.
She smiled and leaned down to her cousin's level. "Are you ready to go now?"

He told her not to apologize? But Ellie always apologized, even if it wasn't her fault, she apologized. Sympathy. Whatever. And then Ellie watched as he picked up her suitcase and, without trouble, set it upright. How in the world did he do that so effortlessly? He must have been super strong. Either that or Ellie was just incredibly weak, which was always a possibility. Ellie sighed. "Thank you. I was having... issues." Just in case he couldn't tell, but it was pretty obvious.
Ellie looked up at the boy when he apologized. So he got to apologize, but she didn't? "Hey, no apology necessary. It was kind of silly of me to walk backwards in the first place." And by silly, she meant stupid, but she didn't want to beat her self up that much in front of him. But she almost snorted when he said he was staring at the wall. Ellie glanced over at it. "Yeah, it's a pretty fascinating wall, isn't it?" She teased with a little bit of smirk. Ah, she couldn't help it, really.

Walking up to the train station hadn't really bothered Stella, especially as she had her sister there with her to show her what to do. Talia had done this for seven years, after all, and she knew her parents felt better knowing she hadn't had to go off entirely on her own at least this term. She was angling to convince them she could handle it after this, but a bit of coddling was alright for now. Plus, Talia was awesome, and at least she hadn't decided to take Bogie along. No, the puppy was back at the flat, which made Stella and her kitten that much happier. Lyra was riding along in her basket, on top of the large trunk on the cart that Talia was pushing as Stella walked alongside. Just in case the cat got startled by all the people, and needing to enter the platform, she had wanted to be able to pet her at a moment's notice.
Stella herself couldn't not give her older sister a grin as they pushed through the wall and onto Platform 9¾, reaching up to push a strand of hair off her face as it escaped from the braid she had wrapped around her head. That was just so much cooler than going off to Beauxbatons the last four years. "Okay, I think I'm good now. If you'd rather go make sure Bogie hasn't trashed the flat or anything," she then said to her sister, only earning the slightest of raised eyebrows. Of course. That hadn't been the plan. She had a feeling she'd only be off on her own once she was on the train and it was moving.

This was a whole new experience for Arianna. Coming from the barrier with her trolley, she looked around at the dozens of wizards and witches around her. Though she was third year, she was a transfer student and though it was exciting that Hogwarts made its students catch a train to the castle. It was good way to meet new people. Arianna hoped she would made a friend on this mini adventure. With a smile she headed towards the train.

Fee was standing at the platform 9 3/4.Her brother had decided to come with her this time since her parents escorted Fenja and Edith to Beauxbatons. The Slytherin still couldnt believe that the twins had chosen Beauxbatons over Hogwarts. They had to be mental...
As the Slytherin looked around for her friends she sighed a little.Maybe she was too early?Paul wanted them to leave early for some reason.Looking behind her the girl watched if her brother followed her.Only a second later a really familiar head came into side and the blonde couldnt help but smile. It was Hugo. But he didnt seem to be alone. They were together for more than a year and half now but she really didnt know how to act in front of the woman that seemed to be her boyfriend's mother.Straightening her dress and blouse the fourth year ran her fingers through her hair and put a smile on her face.Making her way towards the Ravenclaw she waved at him."Hey Hugo",she said happily," i almost thought i was too early."

It was completely his fault that he fell, but he wasn't up to trying to calm down a crying kid now. Thankfully, her luggage seemed to be fine too. Or else, it would annoy his father to pay for something so stupidly broken.
Although it was numb now, it still hurt unbearably as the girl held it in hers, but he tried not to show it. He didn't want to unsettle the girl now, nor did he want to look like a cry-baby for Louisa. Though, of course, like every other polite people, she had to take some guilt. He waved his other hand dismissively.
Senhor Neves watched the whole scene. Being a Muggle, he couldn't do many things now. The only way to heal an arm was going to a hospital, but apparently there was a spell for it. Oh well.
Nodding as his son told him it was okay, he carefully hugged the boy not to hurt his arm again. "Okay. Tell me everything about the castle, yes?" He eyed Louisa again, then, sure that she wouldn't understand, he said "She is a good girl..." She reminded him of the mother of Marcelo, actually. Only, she probably wasn't that greedy. "Yes... we'll see each other at Christmas." He smiled again, hugging his son one last time.
"Adeus, meninas bonitas!" he called as he waved at them with a smile. "I hope you have a good term!" Then, smiling again, he went through the wall to the other side to go home.
The boy lingered there for one more moment, obviously thinking something, before he turned back to the girls.
What to do, now?
Louisa shook her head at Joao, "No. We can't do magic here, and I don't think you should risk healing it yourself. We can ask the head boy or girl to do it for you or a Professor if we see one," It was very risky and not even Louisa knew the spell- well, she did know it and read about it but would never try it for the first time on someone's hand.
Mr. Neves was talking to his son, then, in Portugese and Louisa felt rather awkward standing there as if she was an intruder but the man quickly gave her a smile and said something not in English which made her blush inexplicably. Soon, he was gone.
The little girl was diving into her trunk and a Kneazle inside. She smiled at the creature before the girl came back to stand by them. Louisa raised her eyebrows at the younger girl in amazement, she knew the spell? It was close to the spell, very close actually and the girl was just so...small, "Yes. That's the one. But I can't do it. I don't know how exactly. It's due fifth year at Hogwarts I guess," Furrowing her forehead a bit thoughtfully.
"You can come with us to the train, yes, but.. where are your parents?" Looking around, the Ravenclaw didn't see an adult waiting for the girl. Louisa gave Joao a concerned look that the girl might be lost or something.
"It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not."

Adam gave the girl a little smile. "You're welcome. It was partially my fault it fell over in the first place, so I figured it was the least I could do." Besides the girl seemed to be having a hard time with it, and it didn't seem right to just stand there and let her struggle when he could help. What kind of person didn't help if they could, right?
Adam gave the girl another smile and a little laugh as she told him not to apologize. From what it seemed like they were both overly apologetic and really it was neither of their faults, just a case of bad timing. "I guess we just both like apologizing huh?" Adam said with another little laugh. However, Adam shot his glance to the ground in some embarrassment as the girl called him out on the whole wall thing.
"Uh...yeah, I've never seen anything like it before," Adam said, turning to look as a group of people came through. "I thought I must be going crazy if I was willing to run full force at a seemingly sturdy brick wall." Adam bent down and picked up his own suitcase that had fallen over, before looking back at the girl. "I'm Adam by the way," he said, extending his hand toward the girl.

Lauren staggered onto the platform, through the barrier, to find her father grinning with amusement on the other side. "Shaddap," she said playfully, sticking her tongue out. Lauren took in her surroundings then, unable to ignore the thrumming atmosphere. Students talking to other students and their family; screeching owls; the sound of squeaky trolley wheels and the train. The magnificent Hogwarts Express that stood there, waiting to take her away to some castle in the middle of nowhere.
With a lump in her throat, Lauren turned to her Dad. "This doesn't feel right," she told him. In an instant he was hugging her, and she felt better but at the same time, she felt worse.
"Shall we try and find your friends?" Jack suggested, his voice soft. Furiously wiping away at the tears in her eyes, Lauren nodded and began ambling up the length of the platform hoping to find Orchid and Kurumi.
Her parents were busy. So, after Aiden made her way through Platform 9¾, they disapperated away leaving her alone with Pernix and her trunks. The dark hair Snake slips a couple of fingers through the owl's cage to stroke his head. "At least we're alone now, aren't we, Pernix?" she speaks with a low voice with a smirk on her face.
She looks around the station. No one she knows' around. Sigh. Hopefully she'll meet a friend soon. She doesn't want to be seen as crazy for talking to an owl all day long. Aiden pushes down her cart down the platform when she sees everyone. She really means everyone else saying goodbye to their family. Well, she's the odd one out here...

Amethyst smiled wide as she began a light trott from the running through the wall. "It's beautiful.." She giggled at ther owl, Onyx, who was hooting more loudly now. She and Ame, both, were glad to be away from that dreadful orphanage. She waited patiently for the girl she'd met earlier to pass through. "Oh Onyx! I forgot to ask for her name!" She hit herself in the face. (*facepalm*) Amethyst was short for her age, and had long black hair.
She sighed looking down at her trunk, and then back at the train. She was ready. Ready to find out who she was, growing up in an orphanage.
She had a feeling she'd only be off on her own once she was on the train and it was moving.
As she had sprinted through the wall, not because she was afraid or anything, but because she couldn't wait to get away from her father, Brooklyn found herself in the train station. Merlin, it was beautiful and she couldn't help but stare in awe. Why hadn't Minnie told her about the pretty train station? Probably because Minnie had been thirteen when she arrived and probably because she didn't care about the pretty train station. OH WELL. She pushed the cart along, quickly gliding toward the north end and farther and farther away from her father, she paused and glanced toward the little cat carrier laying on top of her trunk. Poor little Forester. She had a feeling that he wasn't going to enjoy this as much as she would. Well.. at least the train part. Loud noises made him skiddish.
Pushing the cart along, Brooke noticed a girl standing not too far away who also had a cat. BEAM! Forester could make friends TOO! She grinned at the thought, wondering how many other children had cats with them. Just as she was about to turn around and go find her father, who had gotten side tracked talking to what seemed like an old buddy of his, Brooklyn's soccer ball rolled off the cart and toward the girl with the cat. MHEEEP. LUCKY SOCCER BALL COME BACK. The blond pushed the cart toward her, hoping that she'd see it and stop if before it rolled onto the tracks.

Hugo turned his head at the source of his name, but he knew that voice so well. He smiled as he saw his girlfriend approach. It had been too long! He hopped over to her to kiss her but noticed the fellow who looked to be Fee's brother and remembered his parents were right behind him, so he rapidly changed his intentions into an awkward hug, cheeks flushed.
Marie, who had been checking all Hugo's stuff once again to make sure everything was there, looked up when she heard her son's name. She was... Really pretty. She gazed down on the sight of the two sharing a hug and blinked. How cute. "You must be Feenella," she said to the girl and held up her hand for the girl to shake. "I'm Marie, Hugo's mum," she told her. "Hugo's been talking a lot about you," she said and nodded towards Hugo, whose cheeks were still red.
Peter turned around. The memories of his time started coming in again... It was a good time. And there was a girl, Feenella, right? Wow... Hugo had done well. He probably got it from his father, those lady-getting techniques. "I'm Hugo's dad, but you can call me Peter, it's nice to finally meet you," he said and extended his hand too.
Merlin, how embarrasing were these people. He would be happy to board that train now and go away from them. They had become more and more annoying to him the last couple months. It could be him becoming a teenage boy, but Hugo wasn't going to admit that. "How was your summer?" he asked Fee carefully because he recalled it being a touchy subject after he went on holiday to France with his family.
It appeared that medical spells were something of a higher academic standard at Hogwarts, which made Eris’ mind float to a question of what exactly were the type of spells she would learn first, though they most likely had it in order of simplest to rather complex as they went on. If that were the case, he had better get to a professor when they got on there train...professors did ride the train didn’t they?
There were so many questions about the school filling up her mind in an ambush, having never occurred to her of course, till her father was out of sight.
Almost swatting away her thoughts, the older girl asked about her family and where they happened to be at present moment.
“My mum and little brother went back home after she dropped me off.” Eris flashed a grin, quite alright with her mother leaving. As much motherly love as Isadora had, she much too easily showed expression on her face, and the entire time she had wished her child goodbye her eyes held a look weary, suffocated that she seemed to get wherever she went that was rather new.
“Dad had work, he was a Ravenclaw...”, she added rather unexpectedly, probably out of habit. Back at their home, whenever the subject of school came up, Saffron Ashwin would just talk about the house he was in, referred to as ‘Ravenclaw’. Constantly. So it seemed completely logically that it should be tagged with his name when speaking to other Hogwarts students, “so he just gave me some last minute info before I left this morning.” The child added with a sense of pride in her voice. The eldest of the Ashwin children, she had taken the responsibility of being the first to go to Hogwarts so seriously and with vigor, that she had forgotten to ask much deciding to let in come as it came.
