So....the Prefects compartment. That would be near the front of the train, yes? Because that was where Ellie had previously gone to intercept Nia on her last train ride a few years ago.

As she approached the front of the train, she saw a younger boy...staring at the train.

Odd.

"Need any help?" Ellie offered, setting her trunk on it's end and resting Clio's cage on top of it just in case he needed her to carry something or...something.

"You guys go ahead to the train cars! I'm meet you guys there!"
Amethyst hurried off to place the luggage into the compartment. She did it without hurting anyone, however in lightning speed (not literally). She smiled as Onyx went with Sarah and Jamey.

Kennedy held in a surprised gasp. For a minute there he thought his cousin had gone bonkers by making him walk towards a wall. To his surprise his face didn't smash against the bricks instead his body just went through it. He looked back at the wall with wide eyes.

That. Was. COOL!

Although he wouldn't admit in front of Bianca because then she'd tell him the phrase he was so tired of, 'I told you so'. Instead, he pushed his glasses back on his nose and pushed his cart.

The witch ran behind her cousin, at the same time cursing her short legs.

"Kennedy," she gasped, trying to catch up to the fourteen year old. Why did he have to have longer legs than she? "Wait for me!" She caught up to him when he stopped in front of the train. "Isn't it great," she sighed, resting her hand on his shoulder.

His first train ride ever was going to be on the Hogwarts Express. He felt a jolt in his stomach and for the first time it didn't involve pain. He looked over at Bianca who wore a dreamy expression. He didn't mind her seeing him off, but he wished it was his mom there. He wished it was his mom placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. He just wished she was here with him and not miles away.

He cleared his throat when he felt his heart clench. Kennedy was never good at goodbyes. "I guess this is it," he said, stepping away from the witch.

Bi felt her hand fall. For her, this had been a great experience when she was younger, but Kennedy was in a totally different situation than she was, that she doubted he was enjoying this at all.

She promised herself she wouldn't do this.

Bianca pulled Kennedy back and crushed him in a bear hug. She didn't know why she was acting like this as tears made their way down her ivory cheeks. "You'll be okay, Kennedy," she said, trying to hold in a sob. Maybe, it was because in the short amount of time she spent with the kid, she had wished he was her brother.

He felt a lump in his throat and cursed Bianca's sensitivity. She was supposed to be loud and hyper not all mushy and stuff. Although, the hug and her words did comfort him in a way. Kennedy hugged her tightly and for a moment imagined it his mother in his arms. That was to, comforting. "I know," he said, pulling away and smiling just for her sake. "I'll write to you when I get there, 'k?" Now, he felt like the adult in this.

Bianca smiled at the kid and nodded. "Alright then," she said, dabbing away the stay tears. "Make sure you give those owls treats...they like treats." They really did. "Oh, and we'll see you on Christmas, so don't forget," she waved.

Kennedy nodded and smiled at Bianca. He really appreciated everything she did and she did quite a lot for him. "I'll see you at Christmas then." He made his way to the train and turned back once more before boarding. "Thanks, Bianca," and with that, Kennedy stepped into the train that will take him to where he truly belonged.

Dragging her trunk in one hand and carrying Shannia's cage in the other, Alyssa walked along the corridor, hoping that she would recognized somebody. Then she recognized the girl who asked her directions on how to get to Platform 9 3/4 in one of them. Standing next to her was the girl she saw looking lost on the platform, and another girl. "I guess she didn't need looking out after all," Alyssa thought to herself. She wasn't sure that she should interrupt but what the heck!

She walked up, " Hi there. I'm glad that you found your way on the train. I'm sorry for running off like that earlier. Just in case you didn't catch my name, it's Alyssa.". She turned to the other girls and smiled at them too.

Zhenya and her mother quickly spotted her father helping to stack her things. He turned around, seeing her, and lifted her into a bear hug.
"I'm so proud of you En, going to Hogwarts. You are going to love it. Stay out of trouble, though. You don't want to go through the same as Dimitri, do you?"
"Of course not Papa, I'm going to be a perfect student," she said and laughed. Well, she would try to, anyway.

Her mother, not one for affection, pulled her towards her in an incredibly warm hug and kissed her on the top of her head. "Zhenya, I love you very much. I hope you have a great time, and love your house. We will write to you soon," she said, and Zhenya saw a small tear well in her mother's eyes.
"I love you Mama, and I'll write every day!" she said.
Her father clapped her on the back softly, "Have fun Kiddo, We will see you at Christmas."

Zhenya got on the train and waved goodbye to her parents. Great, she thought, I have nobody to sit with.

Kurumi pulled Selina in close and did what her mother did whenever she had burst into tears, stroked the red head's hair.

She had killed a gold fish once. It had been winter and she thought the fish would have appreciated some warm water to swim around in. She had unintentionally boiled the fish alive and had been traumatized for several months. So, in the tiniest sense, Kurumi knew what it was like to take a life. But a goldfish could hardly be compared to what Selina had gone through.

"Selina..." she whispered softly. Nothing else needed to be said. Nothing else should be said.

Excited didn't even begin to describe how she was feeling at this moment. She felt like a firework being set off into the night sky that was reaching the proper altitude to explode and sent sparkles all over the place and she didn't want to make things difficult for the station masters to clean up.

"Holy hippogriff! Really?" Her eyes were popping out of her head now and she had completely lost control of her emotions - which meant only one thing. Kurumi's hair turned a sunflower yellow.

"Gideon, I am so jealous! I have seriously been considering a job working with dragons in the future I've never seen one in real life!"

Destiny didn't MEAN to scare Mina.. okay, maybe she did just a little bit, but that wasn't her first intention. No, she just wanted to get her friend's attention, and SWEET MERLIN! She was ever so glad she did.

Eyes widening when the Ravenclaw turned around, Destiny took notice of the cauldron cake that she had almost made her drop. Not that it really would have dropped. Destiny had reflexes like a cat when it came to chocolate. She could catch it falling from the sky! In her mouth! Which, in her opinion, would have been awesome.

Nodding her head at whatever was being said, the choooocooolate was taking up far too much of her attention, she glanced between Mina and the cake, the cake and Mina.

Injustice? Destiny knew all about that.

"You know something else that would be considered injustice? Not sharing chocolate with your friends." But it needed to hurry. Before Evelyn spots her.

Mina was beyond excited to see her friend. It had been way too long and she knew that she would have to hang out with Destiny more. Yes, it was added to her mission for her last term. There would have to be some visits to the lake and they still had to avenge Mister Turtle!

Noticing the look her friend was giving her cake, she smirked and turned to pull out anther box. "And this is why I came prepared!" she beamed as she handed the new box to her.

Like she would have only one cake with her. She had been hoping to find her friend, so she could share it's chocolaty goodness with!

Okay so with his parents, aunt and uncle he was used to animangi and the whole idea of transfiguring oneself. But he had never properly met a Metamorphmagus so it took him a bit by surprise. Not that it took much thought afterwards to realise thats what Kurumi was by the change in the color of her hair.

Guessing yellow is excited, he mused to himself.

He made a mental note of that ability so he wouldn't be so surprised next time. "Uh huh...really," he assured her again, watching and waiting to see if she was going to be all right. Gideon would hate himself if soemthing happened because she came into histerics.

"I'm not sure I have any photos but I could owl Mum to send any she may have." Like those she jokingly said she kept for insurance purposes in case one charboiled her eldest son in the process of his work. He almost offered to see about a possible visit but opted not to kill the girl he had just met by such a gradios offer.

Selina could feel her entire body shaking with tears. Nothing she could do would stop them from pouring down her face. She must have looked absurd, crying. Then she felt a pair of arms wrap around her tiny frame. Kurumi was touching her. Why would she do that? She was a monster. She did not deserve any help.

Pulling her body weakly up she wiped her tears and said, "I, um, have to go. I'll talk to you later okay?" then she ran like she always did. Away from Kurumi, away from her emotions. She just ran. She sucked up the emotions that threatened to hurt her and pretended they were not there. But Selina had been doing that for years. It was easier to pretend to be okay than to actually try to be.

Hugo got kind of nervous around Paul. He probably didn't make a good impression. "Does she?" he awkwardly smiled. How cuuuute. "Um, no, I'm in Ravenclaw," he told Paul. Then, he heard a whistle. The train was about to pull off! Hugo smiled and looked at the train. "Sooo... We should probably... Yeah... Get in..." he awkwardly said to Fee. He then proceeded to hug his mum, then his dad. "Bye guys," he mumbled. And then he turned to Paul. "Um, it was nice talking to you sir," he said and extended his arm again hoping the guy would shake it and not leave him awkwardly standing there.

He took Fee's hand and stepped forward to the train. "Ready?" he asked.

Kurumi was bouncing, only slightly, in her brown boots and only stopped when her black bangs poked her eye. Ouch. She blinked a few times and her right eye watered just a little, but nothing too noticeable. She was even too excited to notice that her hair was now bright yellow and the fact that he hadn't said anything made the situation even better. She would have appreciated it even more if she had noticed the change herself. People pointing out that she was different always made her take twenty steps back into her shell.

"Oh...I-I-I-I wouldn't want to be a b-b-b-bother," she stammered, her cheeks flushing a bit and her hair color calming down ever so slightly.

Kurumi nearly tumbled over when Selina pushed away from her. She knew she should have been expecting such a reaction from the third year, but that didn't mean Kurumi liked it.

She wanted to grab Selina, make her not run away, but she knew it was pointless right now. Selina was going through a lot of emotions and it seemed as though she just needed space. Kurumi would find her in the dorms, where she could place the proper charms to keep their conversation private.

As Raven walked through the wall, she pushed her trunk closer to the train. She looked nervous then walked up to a man dressed in uniform. "Will you put my trunks in the storage car? I need this trunk with my name on it though. It has my Hogwarts robes in it. I need to change into them on the train."
Raven glanced around looking for her friend, Anna. She wasn't in sight. She hadn't seen Anna for a while now. Raven was quite nervous. Who would she sit with if her best friend wasn't there? Raven thought she probably stuck out in the crowd with her american accent, her american clothes, and her obvious muggle mentality.
She left her cart sitting in the middle of the north platform. Hopefully the conductor would move her trunks for her, they were very heavy. She went back and grabbed her cage that held her barn owl, Addison inside. She decided once she boarded the train she would write her friend Anna a letter.
She had some extra parchment, ink, and quills in the same trunk that held her dress robe.
"Mr. Conductor? Is that what you are? The trunk I need with me in the train is this brown one, it has my initials on it. It's the one that says, RVS."
Raven wondered if it was time to get on the train. She glanced at the clock on the wall. The second hand didn't seem to be working. She didn't know what time it was. The train door was open. She walked toward the train, and then walked up the stairs into the train's hallway.

Of course Destiny was already carrying so much chocolate it should be deemed illegal, but it was always more fun to eat other people's. Especially when they were willing to share.

Which Mina was doing!

She grinned as she was presented with a box of her own, and had to resist the urge to jump up and down in excitement. But really, after eating what was in the box, she wouldn't need to be excited for that to happen. "Thank you! You are the best!" Really, none of her other friends gave her chocolate. Maybe Mia would, but after spending the summer together, that was probably unlikely to happen now.

Opening the box, she lifted the cauldron cake and just when she was about to take a bite, she glanced over at Mina. Ugh.. "I can eat this now, right?" That's why it was in her hand.. RIGHT!?

Chocolate! Yes, it brought people together and made the best gifts!

In all her years going to Hogwarts and being first just acquirances and then friends to with Destiny, she knew that chocolate was always the safe route to go with her friend. It had taken some work, but she had acquired a nice collection of chocolaty treats to last her until she could make it to Honeyduke's.

Opening her own box and lifting it by it's handle, she nodded. "You are very welcome! I thought about all the chocolate I had and you came to mind." To eat chocolaty goodness without Destiny would be wrong and Mina was done with doing the wrong thing for a while.

Looking around for witnesses, she smirked. "I say have at it! We might be being watched and you know how they hate it when we get us some chocolate." She knew what chocolate usually did to her friend and usually she wouldn't be a provider, but it was their last year and they might as well go out with a bang!

Yes, Mina Bennett felt no remorse at all for giving one Destiny Shepard a chocolaty cauldron cake before the train left London.

Hahahaha, this girl was not what he thought she was, she was actually fun to be around. It felt soo easy to talk to her, well they would be seeing each other more often since they were in the same house.
"Shall we find a compartment together or do you already have a compartment to go to?" Harvey asked Erin secretly hoping that they could find a compartment together and not have to worry about the awkward silence he may have to endure with a new person he might meet if he went alone.

Of course he knew the healing spell. He was fifteen and a half age now, how could he not know it? "Why should I be incapable of doing it on my arm?" It hurt, sure, but it didn't matter that much. It hurt this way more, and as long as he had a wand, he could apply any spell on himself.

João raised one eyebrow. What kind of a parent which attended Hogwarts wouldn't tell all to their daughter? Then again, he probably would only mention their names and then he would go around boasting about being a Slytherin, but still... he shrugged. He would like it if she was sorted into Slytherin. The girl was logical enough and not one of those silly children, but what did he know? He didn't even know if the Hat knew all; he was yet to see that and if it didn't sort him into Slytherin, he was returning back to Brazil. No doubt. So, looking at Louisa with a low chuckle as she seemed offensed about his Ravenclaw reaction, he hurried to explain.

"No, I don't have anything against Ravenclaw." And only against Ravenclaw, except Slytherin. The rest were stupid. Then, looking at the girl as she asked a question, he wondered for a moment if she was foreign too, judging by her name. As far as he knew that wasn't an English name, though he didn't know for sure. All he knew was it wasn't Portuguese either, or probably not Spanish. He'd ask that later, once they got to know each other better to the point it wasn't considered rude. If they ever got to that point.

"I don't know yet either. I'm a transfer student... and my name is João." It was going to be funny to see her pronounce that.

Then, before he could reply any more, he heard a voice from the rails and saw the train was already there. Looking over both of the girls, he indicated with his healthy hand to the train.

"Ladies first."

And onto the train, himself.

Gideon shook his head as she stammered, that with the hair was starting to make him feel sheepish for it was he himself who had gotten the reaction out of the girl. The boy noticed the flush to her cheeks as well and sought to make things right. "Tis no bother, Kurumi," he assured her just before the whistle blew to remind them to get on board the train.

Had it really gotten to be that time?

"Guess we should go, eh?" he questioned almost rhetorically as she straightened from where he had taken to leaning slightly on his trolley.

Kurumi's smile brightened a bit and she slowly nodded her head. "Then....I'd love to see pictures," she chirped. Her hair was, for the most part, back to normal and it had happened without her even realizing that it had changed in the first place. Part of this was owed to Gideon for not mentioning the change, but perhaps the other half of that was that she was gaining some control? Probably had more to do with that first option than the second.

Hearing the whistle, Kurumi spun around to check the large clock on the wall. Merlin! Look at the time!

"You're right," she laughed. "I am really glad I met you, Gideon. And not just because of the dragons." She wanted to make sure that he knew she wasn't just wanting to get to know him because of his connections. He seemed like a really nice person and a lion that she shouldn't have overlooked until now. "I'll see you on the train, okay?"

'Yeah, advantages of b eing a muggleborn, I always carry around painkillers...' Rose muttered as she popped one in her mouth. She pulled a face, she had always hated taking pills... 'You can sit with me if you want...' she smiled, still sat down, knowing it would take about half an hour for the painkillers to kick in. She was glad when Alyssa helped her up and walked with Alyssa, still being supported.

Alyssa made sure that she kept an eye on Rose. She was glad that she had her own painkillers. She made Rose walk in front of her just in case she had to grab her if started feeling dizzy again. "This is Rose, everyone. She had a nasty 'fight' with the platform wall and lost. She's feeling a little better but I think that we need to get her seated as soon as possible. There were others with us, but we seemed to have lost them." She turned around to look for Kita, Nessie and Daphne, but she must have lost them in the crowd. "Oh well, I guess we'll catch up with them later. Maybe they found a carriage. If we don't find them, may we join you?", she asked the girls as she packed both Rose's and her trunks into the compartment making sure they were secure before following the girls down the train to the carriages.

Rose waved at everyone. 'Yeah, me and that wall don't get along. He's angry that I turned him down for a date and has always been hurting me since!' Rose smiled as she swayed and grabbed the door to steady herself. 'Sorry, I really need to sit down...' she mumbled, feeling dazed as she sat down.

After departing with my mother, I boarded the front of the train. This was scary. All of the other students stared at me as I made my way to an empty seat. I stared out the window and thought long and hard about the past couple weeks. I was a wizard. I went to Diagon alley to buy my school supplies. and now im on a train to a school I never heard of untill recently. This was too good to be true. Maybee I was dreaming. I was awoken from my day dream by the voice of a small boy.
"Mind if I sit with you?" the boy asked innoncently.
"No, are you a first year too?" I asked the boy.
"Yes, my names josh." he replyed. I smiled and introduced myself.
"Im Jenna." I said staring hard at him.
He just smiled and we talked the whole way to Hogwarts.
