He nodded and with the usual grace traced out the wand movement for the spell. (See, I would be lousy teaching charms. Not creative enough.) "It's rather simple. Hopefully it will help."

Marina copied it, with gentle elegance. It was particularly simple, much easier than she had expected. "Thank you," she said, placing her wand on the table, and then placing a small, white hand on the wand, in a rather thoughtful manner. "Now I know what the first thing I am going to do, once I get home, is." She smiled lightly, though with chilling eyes.

Which, hopefully, she would be able to tackle somewhat soon.

He nodded. "I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find other colors to try as well... You may find something you like." He chuckled softly. "I only hate it when there's a red shift in my eyes, or in the wrong light... It's okay for them to be such a dark blue, but it's hard to feel masculine when your eyes turn purple. That happened once when I casted a silver hue to my eyes, and then they were lavender. I think I was in sixth year, then... And I was very feminine in appearance when I was younger, so I had a lot of girls laughing at me. I was grateful to eventually grow out of such a delicate appearance."

Blair walked into the cafeteria. She had a few paper works. She looked around and set down at one of the tables. She started to read the papers she had. She felt somewhat out of place there. It was somewhat like school but not the same. She started to play with her hair as she read the paper.

"Oh no, I love my original eye-colour," Marina said, pretty much at once. It was the hazel she had grown up with, the hazel Randy had loved very dearly. Marina could not possibly think of switching to another colour. That was part of the reason she hated it when she had no control, over the colour her eyes assumed. Bit of a nuisance, actually.

She smiled, lightly, at Drago's story. "I would think Lavender would actually be a nice colour, to have. Something out-of-the-ordinary. Fashion statement," she added, with a laugh.

"As much as I like setting a fashion statement, I'll pass on lavender again," he chuckled. "Though I suppose I should just be glad my eyes aren't pink or something. And hopefully won't become so with age."

Marina smiled, lightly. "Pink is quite the colour," she said, with a laugh. "But I suppose you should be more thankful your eyes are not scarlet. That would honestly be scary. Scarier than the colour mine are, at any rate." Not that the colour itself, was a hassle - it was what it looked like, that was. The chill factor, as she liked to put it, at times.

She looked up at Drago. "Thank you for the Gelato, by the way," she said, with a small smile. Even though she had flung it into the dustbin, the moment she was through with everything he and Leo had put her through, perhaps without intending to, without even realizing it. She regretted that, now. She needed to kill down the fire in herself, perhaps. It had yet to do her much good. Except, of course, in terms of personal satisfaction.

How twisted.

"The sad thing is, they've the potential to do so." He shook his head. "Due to a form of partial albinism, I've been told that while things seem fairly normal for now, aside from certain sensitivities and the occassional violet eyes, it is possible that what of me is affected may eventually lose all pigmentation. That would be vaguely chilling... red eyes, more pale than I am now, with the black hair."

He leaned back, feeling a little more stable and able to relax a bit. "You are quite welcome. As I said, we shall just have to visit the Piazza some time, and I will treat you there. I think that is only fair." He had a sort of smirk, though not one of arrogance, more of amusement. "As childish as it may seem to think such things."

Blair looked around once more and started to get up not have eaten at all today. She grabbed her papers into her hands. She sighed as she started to walk pass the other tables. She felt like she was around there anymore.

This time he noticed as Blair shuffled about. On the one hand, he knew she was having trouble getting to know others around the Ministry. On the other... He was barely managing to keep in good relations with the people he knew. He looked over to her, then to Marina, leaning in closely with a quiet voice. "Would you mind if I called the young lady over there? I hate to have our conversation interrupted, however she seems to be rather shy and having some trouble connecting. The day Leo confronted me I noticed her... Apparently she moved and transferred here recently. I'd like to introduce her around, but I realize I barely know anyone here. I think it's you, Rin, Ben... and, well, that's it. And the department head. Or perhaps you might have better luck in being able to help her around?"

Oh. "But you could cover that, should it ever happen," Marina said, with a little nod. She was not one to tell him to hope for the best, that it was not likely that such a thing would happen. She was not a pessimist, but she liked to be prepared for the worst. "You have the option of glamour charms - though that would be pesky, they hardly last - and then you can tint your eyes." The charm he had showed her, only very recently. "Or contact lenses. Those could serve you excellently, in a case like that."

"Thank you, but I will pass for now." She could treat herself. She did not need a man, for that. She had had enough of men to last her a lifetime. She had honestly thought she had left them behind, three years ago. Then Drago had to show up, she had to lean towards him, and Leo had to put her back in her right mind. She was almost glad for Leo's interference, and yet she hated the man with a passion. He had pretty much tainted her own thoughts. Drago had not helped, either. But she could live with that.

Oh. "Certainly," Marina said, turning a dark, unintentionally icy gaze towards the 'lady' he was talking about. Some blonde. Marina did not know her, but she could very well remember her, from the memory Drago had chosen to share with her. She nodded, smiling lightly. "If I can help her in any way, I would be more than pleased to."

"Mm..." That mischievious spark returned to his eyes as she refused, and he leaned back with a smirk. He summoned his Sight, though not realizing how close he was to Marina, and a strange veil of threads seemed to appear around him to the woman. Where it appeared he was just fidgeting, his thumb rubbing against his fingertip, Marina saw a thread wander over and come into his grasp. Though the reasons for it did not appear to her, he used it to look back across the small gap in time to see the young lady's reactions upon entering. "You walked in here, didn't get anything to eat, looked at your paperwork... I can tell you barely did anything. And without much ado, decided to do your work in your office instead?" He let go of the thread and all of them disappeared from both their sights. Still, nothing out of the ordinary appeared to Blair's vision. "It seems almost the same as you sitting in the cafe paying rather little attention to your book. Ah well... Tend to your work, I suppose. But really, you must find some time to talk later." She was awfully cute. It was too bad, however. Though he had a tendency to thirst for innocence, he also wasn't willing to damage such a thing. Perhaps with a little growth in the future...

Oh, France. "Lovely place," Marina said, lightly. "I'm originally Russian. Have lived there for the major part of my life. But I've travelled a lot. So, Blair." She gave the woman a smile. "What do you think of London?"

Kenedie Hawthorne had been missing for almost two years, and she found herself sitting in the cafeteria at the Ministry of Magic once more. Her morning back had been a surreal blur. She didn't feel comfortable around people anymore, and she wasn't really sure what she was doing back. Asher had refused to return to school, and she felt as though she should have refused work as well.

She sat alone. Her foot tapped nervously, and small noises made her jump. She felt so different from the way she used to.

She saw a man across the cafeteria that she might have been vaguely interested in before the ordeal. She thought maybe she might have wondered what his past was, why his eyes were guarded. Now? She was scared to think of even talking to a stranger. Would this ever go away?

Dan wasn't sure, but he could swear that there was a woman that kept looking at him from across the room. And she was pretty hot too, so that was always a bonus in his eyes.

He got up from his seat and headed towards her. And then he noticed that she seemed sorta sad. Change of plan; he didn't do women with baggage.

But she was still hot, so...

"Hello," he said as he took a seat across from her without even asking. He was Dan McDean, he didn't need to ask permission to sit down.
