The name itself explains about this place. Yes, this office space is exclusively for security and Maintenance people who are working for everyone's safety and beauty of the Ministry round the clock. There are many grey and dark teal green cubicle furnitures has partitions, and the desks and shelves attached to them, completely mobile. Every desk has name plates of each employee and very well stocked with all essential office equipments. On one side of the wall various maps including the Ministry one, has pinned for reference. In the right corner there is a provision for your refreshment, I mean coffee and tea. Please make that place clean and accessable.
There're seperate big tables for Division Heads. Do discuss and share the work with your Division Heads. On the left side of the work area, there is the Department Head's sparkling clean office with a glass door and shiny name plate. Feel free to contact him, he wont bite..xD You know the drill, right?! So get on work, and be available as much as you can. xD!!

After grabbing a quick cup of tea at the beverage station, Daria entered the new and improved, Eight floor Security/Maintenence work area and was shocked at the renovations that had taken place. "Nice!" she said aloud, as she looked around.
She proceeded to walk up the double-line of cubicles. looking for her name plate... "Hmmm... " Daria said, "wonder if they've forgotten me?" Finally, she spied her name plate; it was on a teal green cubicle. "Yes!" Daria exclaimed; Teal was one of her many favourite colours. Entering her work space, she began unloading her personal items from a box.
"Whoosh..." Daria's wand soon made short work of decorating her personal spce. Centered over her desk was a picture of her favourite Auror, Alastaire "Mad-Eye" Moody. There had never been a greater Auror, before or since, Mad-Eye Moody. On her desk, was a cheerful picture of her mom and dad during their last trip to France...
Pulling her chair away from her desk, Daria sat down and began to work...
So many changes.Olivia had known they were going to do a redecoration of all the levels, but she didn't think it wasn't going to be this drastic. She pushed open the door to the new and improved office and stared in wonder. "Nice layout," she muttered, glancing up and down at the rows of closed off desks.Amongst which was hers.
Walking along, box of her things in hand, Olivia scanned the names for her own desk.Little did she realise that it was going to be one of the bigger ones down the very end.Spying her name and status 'Olivia Hawthorne, Division Head, Magical Maintenance' on the nameplate, she broke out into a grin.More room than the last one.
Dumping her box down, she proceeded to put everything in it's place, including the paperwork of the planning her department had been doing the week before. "Now just need to wait for my crew," she mumbled, looking around the other desks incase they were already about somewhere. That's when she spotted someone she didn't know. Must be a part of Security. Waving her hand, Olivia greeted the woman with a cheery smile. "Good morning!"
Max walked past the many new cubicles. Changes didn't fit him. He felt lost like a little boy who got seperated from his parents. "Why was it always grey" he muttered to himself.
Max kept walking along looking for his name plate. Then he dropped his very small box of this on his chair. He didn't need a big box, he barely brought personal items to work. He took out his 2 books, then just put 'em back in.
Leaving his cubicle he went to look around the new renovations. Too Many Changes. Changes were bad...very bad. He immidiatly spotted the coffee. Hooray. Taking a cup, he started looking for the others if they were there yet. Taking a sip from the hot coffee he saw 2 others. Olivia and someone he didn't know. "Hello" he said to the two.

Daria got up from her desk and walked to her cubicle opening. "Hi!" She replied, as smiled at the woman standing before her. Extending her hand, Daria said, "My name's Daria... Daria Devereux. I work in Security. I'm guessing you're with Maintenance?"
Daria was excited; working along-side Magical Maintenance was going to be very interesting and add a lot of new faces to the office.

Noticing a man coming toward them, Daria turned slightly to greet him as well. She didn't know him either; so, he was obviously a part of Magical Maintenance. As the young man greeted them with a hello, Daria once again extended her hand, "Hi!" Daria said, happy to meet yet another new person. "I'm Daria Devereux. I'm in Ministry Security." Max reached the two. It was going to be interesting working with Security. He shook her hand, "Hello Daria. I'm Max" he said smiling at the two. He looked over at Olivia, to see what she thought of the renovations. He took another sip of coffee. This time he felt himself regaining energy. He wont need to fall asleep at his desk for a while. It might just happen later
Chris had received their department head's letter saying that there had been a few changes on their department and he found those changes quite wonderful. Well, now that the security and maintenance people would be working on one office, he could have the chance to bond with them more and know them better.
With a blissful smile in his face, Chris entered the office. He smiled at those people who were already working at their renovated office. He headed to his own place and found a particularly two big tables with his name plate on it. This place is really relaxing, he thought, and exceptionally well-organized.
Alyssa had recieved the memo that the offices would be together now. Alyssa wasn't sure if working with security was going to be okay with her. But she moved in with a box of her stuff and started searching for her cubicle. Alyssa saw the one with her name plate on and gave a sigh..no bigger tha her last one. Oh well. She pulled out the few pictures that she had. She had one of her and Chris at their wedding, and another of the whole wedding party. And another one of her and Chris on their cruise.
Alyssa began to look around and to see who was all in the office so far...Max and Olivia. Ayssa smiled and waved at them as she finished organizing her desk with quills and parchment and then went to join her crew. "Hey Max, Olivia. What do you guys think of the new style?" Alyssa asked as she gestured to the rest of the room. "Are we still planning the fair?" Alyssa hoped so becuase that planning was keeping her from going insane.

And there comes the first of her group, Max.Drinking his coffee which never seemed to do any good, Olivia greeted him after he'd said hello to both her and the other woman. "Morning, Max" She looked up to see that the woman who was here when she arrived, who she had said hello to, was stood in front of her introducing herself...
Brushing her hand off on her robes, to get rid of the cardboard box dustiness, Olivia shook the hand offered and smiled. "Nice to meet you Daria...Yep I'm Maintenance.Olivia Hawthorne, the Division Head. It'll be lovely working altogether in the same office, don't you think?" she asked both Daria and Max.She did.It would make a nice change.
As she was talking to Daria another person appeared through the door and arrived at the large desk near hers, placing his things on it.Ahhh, must be the elusive Mr Greenleaf, Security Division Head.Stepping around her own desk, Olivia stopped in front of his and smiled at him. "Christopher Greenleaf I presume? I'm Olivia Hawthorne, your Maintenance division counterpart.Lovely to meet you," and she did the same as Daria had done to her, extended her hand for him to shake.
Glancing back up to the door, which she could just about hear opening from the distance away that she was, Olivia spotted the blond hair of Alyssa enter the room. And immediately ask her questions.Chuckling to herself, Olivia nodded. "Morning Alyssa.I like it, gives us a nice chance to work closer with security....meaning it will be easier to ask them for help with the fair, which, yes, we are still planning.Although....it's a top secret surprise.No-one outside this room must know until we are ready to host it." Olivia tapped the side of her nose and winked.

Alyssa realized that she asked alot of questions all the time. She should keep that under control really. "It will be ah.....interesting to work with Security for sure." Alyssa sighed, all it ment to her was more people in one small area. Alyssa was claustrophobic and having this many people close to her kind of scared her. "Oh good I was worried that we were giving up on the fair. So how much do we have planned, and what do we have yet to do" There she went again babbling off questions.

Max took the stirring stick and started stirring for no reason. Hmmm... he was getting tired again. He took another few sips of coffee. Then Alyssa walked over. "Hey alyssa" he said. "Change doesn't go to well with me, it'll take sometime to get used to. My brain seems to reject new surroundings." and then sighed. why was life difficult. "by tomorrow I'll forget that were a joint office, and be completely suprised"
Now he was getting sleepy again. So even this coffee wont help him. Oh well. Not a suprise. He listened to the two talk more about the fair. He just sttod there, waiting to see if he needed to input anywhere within the dicussion.

"Yes I am," Chris stated matter-of-factly as he smiled back at her. She must be my fellow division head, he thought. He enthusiastically gazed at her. He found the lady beguiling and beautiful. "Pleased to meet you too, Ms. Olivia Hawthorne." he said as he lowered his head a little, he then shook her hand. Honestly, he didn't know what to call her yet so maybe adding a 'Miss' at her name wouldn't cause so much damage.
He took a glimpse of her for the second time, she seemed amiable and good-nature. He supposed that it would be really great working with her.

Right, yes.Questions that need answering.From Alyssa...again.Hehe.
Olivia got her work head back on as she heard the voice of her workmate.Smiling one last time at Christopher, she spun back round to face both of her crew. "No no, not at all!" she enthused, walking back over to her own desk and picking up the parchment laying on it. "I still have the notes right here, ready to be added to.Gather round guys and we can go through it." Olivia sat down in her plush new chair and pulled herself closer to her desk, ready to address them and write at the same time.
"So far," she continued, "we have a dragon toss: throwing the eggs into the dragons mouth, scoring points for everytime you make it roar. The more points in one go the better the prize. Now I was thinking it should be like the muggle coconut shys....3 eggs for each go?" She added that last bit as another note, next to the idea.
"Then, of course, the cotton candy stall is a must," Olivia licked her lips almost instinctively as she said the words. Those stalls were really a favourite of hers whenever she went to a fair as a young girl. "And finally, so far, a bucking bronco, but instead of a bull we have a broomstick.Maybe the children could practice their quidditch skills on it? Keeping and such like.Have you guys thought of anything else?" She looked up from the notes and scanned their faces.

Alyssa was wondering what else they could do at this fair. "What about the fish toss? You know if you land a ping-pong ball in the fish bowl you win a gold fish?" Alyssa always like that game she loved being able to take home the fish with her. "We could always use a more magical fish or something." Alyssa wondered what the others might think of it. Or if the others had ever played that same game.

So this was the Security Division Head. Max wondered how they havebn't met yet. They do work on the same floor after all. Oh Well. "Hello. I'm Max Edison" He said

Max listened to Olivia's list. Okay, so she morphed his idea into a better one. That was good. "Again, Can't have a fair without a ferris Wheel." he said. Really it was crazy, completely Phyco to have a fair with no ferris wheel. He will keep pushing it 'til it is part of the list. "Some other rides may be good. Unless we dont have room." he kept thinking. Hm.... "Fun house?" he said/asked.

Maybe they're relatives, he thought, or married couples? Well, good thing that Alyssa pointed out that her husband used to work in security division so he wasn't stuck thinking whether they were just relatives or couples. "Oh, your husband must be Chris Hobgartner. He's a great man... hardworking and all,"

A few drops of sweat started to trickle from his face, and he was feeling a bit uncomfortable. He didn't know why but when he look at the beautiful woman... It just... ugh.
He wondered how long he wasn't speaking, it took a minute maybe. And he needed to catch up for the time loss. "Oh," he said, stalling for some time.. "Olivia then," he smiled, composing his shattered self. "And just uh, call me Chris."
A black cat strolled through the cubicles and looked at the new Division Head as it walked around. It looked at everyone as it walked around all the different desks. Then the cat went into a cubicle of which the name plate said 'Wyatt Potter, Ministry Security' it sat on the desk looking at anyone who entered the cubicle and anyone who passed by the cubicle.

Daria watched as the black cat strolled by her cubicle. It walked as if it owned the place. Darius smiled to herself and wondered if anyone else had noticed the animal. If she wasn't mistaken, Daria was quite sure that a Metamorphmagus had just entered the Eighth floor.
Placing her tea cup back onto her desk, Daria got up. She walked over to the cubicle where the black had only moments earlier entered and sat down on the extra chair in the corner. Looking at the cat, Daria smiled and said, "Hi! My name's Daria... Daria Devereux, and who might you be?" Daria waited patiently for an answer.
He smiled to her, taking her hand for a shake. "Nice to meet you Alyssa," he was a bit wondering why the woman has the same surname as his former co-worker. "Oh, your husband must be Chris Hobgartner. He's a great man... hardworking and all,"
Alyssa smiled at the man, "So you are the security division head. Will you be working with us on our project then?" Alyssa wondered if the security deparment was going to be working with them now that the whole floor was in one little office. Alyssa still wasn't sure as to whether or not it was going to work out so well for her, but none the less she was working for a while in the ministry. "It should be rather fun once we get it all together don't you think?" The only plus side to this ordeal was that Alyssa would get the chance to meet some new people.
The black cat noticed the young womren who entered the cubicle and sat in the chair. it quickly swished it's tail to the name plate on the desk. then it tail grabbed a quill and started writing on some parchment. 'I am Wyatt Potter with Ministry Security and I am a Metamorphmagi.'

Daria smiled, as she read the well written note. "Well, it's a pleasure to meet you Wyatt Potter. Might I have the honour of seeing you in wizard-form, or are you more comfortable as a cat?" As you laughed to herself, Daria thought of her first day in Security. She had arrived with bright pink hair, blue tips and a ducks beak. The attention she had received.... Daria shook her head to rid it of the unpleasant memory. Obviously, Mr. Potter had better control of his powers.
So many changes, so many places new she needed to be. Emma looked around the room, trying to locate her work space and best friend Alyssa. It didnt take her long to find Alyssa, her space on the other hand.
Emma rushed up, smiling, "Alyssa guess what? Were having the wedding tomorrow" She called happly, beaming. She couldn't wait.
She looked around again, half the room she didn't know but in time would.
Alyssa had all she could do not to scream, but she had to be professonal! This was a work place after all. "That's great to news Emma!" Alyssa quickly got up from her desk and gave her best friend a hug. Alyssa then realized that she had news that she needed to share with her division head as well as her department head. "Olivia, can I talk to you for a minuet?" Alyssa hoped that this wasn't going to awkard or anything.
Ferris Wheel? Not sure about the room, but it was going on the list.
Fun house? OH YES! Most definately.
Olivia nodded her head as each suggestion was made, and she scribbled them down.Putting the last full stop in for now, she looked up and smiled at the guys. "Sounding good so far.Maybe we could add a house of mirrors as well as the fun house?" she enquired to Max, eager to see what he thought of the expansion on his idea. "Of course none of this is confirmed, event wise, until I run them past Mr Lee," she added, making sure they realised it.
And then the door went again.
"Nice of you to join us, Emma," she smiled, adding a wink, as she stretched her neck to see who it was.Olivia was just about to tell her what they were discussing, but it appeared that Emma had some news for Alyssa. So instead she sat back and waited for an opening.
Oh, sounds serious. Not another person leaving, please Merlin?! Olivia nodded to Alyssa's request for a word, and got up out of her seat, gesturing for the woman to follow her to the other side of the room. "What can I do for you?" she asked, suddenly feeling concerned.
