Armen ran his hand through his hair and sighed. Why did this have to happen in his first few weeks of running this department?! After trying to catch his breath the Dept. Head realized he was alone in the office....well almost.
He smiled smally at the man in the room with him and began to speak. "Well I guess we need to find the others, Asher." he remembered that this was one of the new employees that he had hired that very day and he felt bad all of a sudden. "Im really..." but he didn't get to appologize. Before Armen could finish Asher was gone.
After a second of huge confusion, Armen realized what was going on. He remembered seeing Asher touch a baseball cap before he disappeared. Portkeys! Armen saw a mangy old boot laying not too far from where he was standing and pointed his wand at it, levitating it towards him.
He spun it around in front of him and then completed the complicated magic on it that he had learned as Division Head of that Division and found out where it was planning on going. The Sidewalk outside the Ministry. Armen looked around quickly and finally picked up an empty quill and pencil cup and turned it into a Portkey. He then sent it flying down the hallway on its way to the rest of his employees.
The newly Portkeyed boot had been flying around the lift's ceiling wait for the doors to open and the zoomed out, between, over, and around wizards in the Atrium. Then it reached the front doors and landed on the ground.
After hopping inconspicuously through the crowd composed of Muggles and a few witches and wizards, the boot portkey found the people it was sent to. A small group of witches and wizards were grouped together looking confused and a bit beaten up. The boot began to hop around and get their attention so they would touch it and be sent back to the office!

Asher landed on the floor of the department room with a thud. He laid there on his stomach for what seemed like years but was only a few minutes. "What were you saying boss?" Asher asked not really bothering to make a movement to get up yet. The floor seemed VERY comfy at that moment.
"Nap time?" He asked with a laugh before realizing that the figurines might still be there to attack him. He jumped up quickly onto his feet wand out looking around for the firgurines that loved launching themselves at his shins.

"So Mr. Recard, has the situation been handled?" As in, have the animals been exterminated?

Scarlet landed unceremoniously on the floor just outside the cubicle area."Ouch!" Rubbing her bottom she picked herslef of the floor keeping her curses of port key's to herself. Looking around the corridor it didn't seem like any of the figurines had run amok there. With a sigh the dark haired woman pushed up the door to the office noting that things looked like they were sorta back to normal. Scarlet looked over Mr Recard with some apprehension asking "Is the office now safe from its havoc makers?" Meaning had the figurines been destroyed or at least been dispatched to be taken cared of. Brushing off her hands Scarlet walked towards Mr Recard and extended a finger polished hand "I never really got to introduce myself earlier. I'm Scarlet Sinclair. The new division head of Apparition."
Jamie came spinning into the office, still clutching Katrina's hand, and landed unceremoniously onto the floor of the corridor, meaning he had let go of her hand. Well, that was fun. [/sarcasm]
He jumped up, and held out his hand for Katrina to grab to help her up. "You okay?" He asked her, before turning to see the rest of the people in the corridor.
He spotted Scarlett and the other guy they had met in the street, but there were a few people he didn't know. Ah, introduction time. "Hey, I'm Jamie Gerrard. Floo Network." He said, to no-one in particular. "Has everything been... dealt with?" He asked. Meaning: have the eviiiiiiil animals gone yet?!

Katrina landed on the floor quite hard and rubbed her head a bit. Ouch. She sighed. She hated portkeys, those wretched things. "Ouch..." she muttered, she shook her head a little to get rid of the doubles she was seeing. When her vision cleared she saw Jamie holding his hand out to her.
"Thanks," she said as she took it and stood. "I'm fine, you?" Katrina asked as she steadied herself. The stupid portkey made her feel so unbalanced. Oh gosh.

Armen leaned against one of the few remaining desks that was not flipped on its side or in a pile of splinters on the grey carpet. Checking his watch, the department head began to wonder what was taking the portkey so long to retrieve his employees and Division Heads. Perhaps someone stopped the thing on its way, or they had left to find more reinforcements?
Before Armen could worry anymore about the countless possibilities, the first on his vanished workers reappeared at his feet. With a small grin, Armen turned his head on its side and reached a hand out to the man. "Hello there Asher, welcome back. I was just saying that I was sorry your first day here had to be so disasterous." he patted the guy on the back.

The next person to arrive was one of his newer Division Heads, but he had still gotten a chance, short as it was, to begin settling in before the utter chaos broke loose. "Well Im sorry to inform you Nathaniel, the cursed figurines haven't been taken completely care of. They have actually just locked themselves in my office." Armen couldn't even imagine the mess they were making. "We will just wait one second out here until we have enough people and then we will make out last stand together." he said proudly, hitting the excentricly dressed man on the shoulder to pump him up.

Armen nodded and smiled sadly at the two other new employees who landed with the others and himself. He would have to get official introductions as soon as this wretched day and battle were over.

Stepping a few feet away from the resting and tired people, he turned and looked at he group assembled in front of him. "You guys can I get your attention for a moment?" he waited for them to look up at him before he began again. "I am very proud of you all, for my older employees and especially for my new employees who haven't even gotten to pick a desk out yet." he began to laugh at his small joke.
"Regardless of our seniority here on Level Six, today we are all together and we will remember this day as the day that wil keep us together in the workplace and friendships for a long time. So without further ado, ready your wands because, now we fight!" he shouted the last few words and ran down the short hall to his office door.
Armen was glad and relieved he was meeting his new Apparation Head. "Oh, yes, It's great to meet you Scarlet. As Mr Recard turned to spoke to her Scarlet giggled lightly saying "No, I'm not thinking about leaving. Should I?" I have just started. I can't leave before i've settled into my postion."But is this havoc normal? I mean is it common for things to come to life around here and attack it's employees?" If that was the case then Scarlet was unsure if she had did the right thing about acceptiong the job at the ministry. She was after all someone who liked peace and quiet.
Barracaded themselves in the office?
Armen explained to her like Nathaniel previously that the figurines just had changed location. They were now in his office. Sighing Scarlet pulled out her wand as she felt him squeeze her arm. Looking up at him a bit startled she said "All right. I'm just going to leave my things on my desk." If they were going to battle the figurines again then she wasn't going in there unprepared.
Katrina now realized that people were super insane around here. Well... after that very moving speech like thing, Katrina never really was a fan of those, she sighed. Time to face the critters again. 'Maybe I'll get to keep the badger after all...' Katrina thought to herself. She smiled at that then took Jamie's hand. "C'mon let's go," she said before pulling him along with her to the office. The war continues...

Armen led the small, brow-beaten employee parade out of his office and down the mini-corridor to the work area and cubicles of Level 6. He stopped at the edge and stared with them over the once nice and organized office. Instead of a gaggle of shiney and ready to work desks there were splinters of wood all over the place, plants ripped to shreads, papers and file cabinets everywhere and many different things.
"Ok everyone, I really do hate having to leave you to this mess, but the Minister needs to meet with ALL Department Heads immeadiately. So as soon as I am finished up there, I will return to help you all finish the cleaning and repair." he picked up his jacket from the ripped in half coat rack, and walked towards the door to the lifts. "And also, I have a bit of a suprise for you all when I return so chop chop! And thanks you all, you are by far the best employees a Dept. Head could have!" he grinned and was then running down the hall to the lifts.
Can't be late for the Minister!
OCC: Hey guys. I will not be gone for the whole meeting with the Minister but I will be gone for short bit to allow for you to begin the rp of cleaning up a bit. Be creative, have fun, and rp with each other to become familiar with all employees new and old. When I return in a little bit (hopefully to good, colorful rping of talking and cleaning up ) I will give you all the little suprise!
Nathaniel thought it was a sorry sight. Tables were pushed ovre where employee's had attempted to create fortresses - paper stacks were still floating gentle towards the floor. Someone pillow.. or something had broken and little tufts of feathers were everywhere. It was a office bloodbath.. sort of.
Pulling out his wand, Nathaniel eyed his employee's. "Ladies and gentlemen - we have a task on our hands. Ready for the clean up?" He was quite sure that none of them were particularly enthused by the idea of chores, but it had to be done. Level Six had a reputation to uphold. Their office simply couldn't look like a bomb had just fallen in it.

Following right behind Armen, second in line in the little disorderly procession of Level Six employees, Laura walked through the door that led into the work area. Amidst the mess of an office, she wiggled her bare toes and caught sight of something familiar.
“Shoesies!” She picked up her heels, which she had left in there earlier so she could have better mobility while battling the figurines, and slipped them on. Exciting moment, indeed.
Once her feet were no longer nakedy, Laura took a good long look at the sad-looking work area. Ever since the Ministry remodel, she had very much liked it enough in there. The desks were all nice and neat and here and there the room was decorated with sensibly placed filing cabinets and ornate plants. But now, it looked like everything had just fell apart. Argh.
Laura glanced over at Armen. “Don’t worry about anything. You’re needed at the Minister’s meeting, and we can handle everything here,” she assured him. She was convinced that battling the figurines was the hard part. Cleaning should be more fun. There was nothing attacking them now.
It took a good amount of self control to keep from giggling as Laura watched Armen casually pluck his jacket up from the ridiculously broken coat rack. But she did grin a little. After Armen was out of sight, she sighed. And took out her wand.
“Let’s make sure Armen has no reason to take back his compliment,” Laura added to Nathaniel's comment, glancing at all the employees. Then, she started over to the four division head desks up at the front of the room and begin cleaning up the mess. The promise of a surprise for them all was a good motivator, after all.
Entering the work area, Brooke couldn't help but sigh at the sight of the place. Papers were everywhere as well as tables and chairs. Some were also destroyed and all was left were there scattered remains.
Brooke ponied her hair before getting to work. This was going to be a very very long day's work. But people were helping out so it might be faster than she expected.
"Look at this place.." she couldn't help but take another sad sigh at all the hard work gone. She began placing the desks back up and scavenging for some of her lost belongings.
When entering the work area, there was no reason why Cristobal didn't make his shocked, sad expression. Papers, filers, chairs, tables...everything was destroyed, or hanging where it don't belong. It was all a mess in there.
A huff of his own breath followed, and he took a box. The only thing left to do was arranging desks and chairs and hope nothing was completely lost. Like his belongings, or his office mates.
"This place...looks like as if a hurricane strucked inside here." Hurricane. Not Tornado.

Scarlet had walked back into the office after Laura, Armen and the others. The cubicle area had been throughly destroyed. Hearing one of the newer employees Cristobal's comment Scarlet nooded in approval "Your quite right Cristobal. This place certainly looks like a hurricane has had its striking point right in the middle of our work area."
Her eyes drifted over to her desk which made her sigh heavily. They had a lot of WORK to do. Raising her voice she called out to all employees "Let's get to it everyone. The mess won't clear itself up." Unpocketing her wand again Scarlet marched over to her desk and started to repair parchments, files, books and stationary. You had to lead by example!

Laura had just finished with organizing the papers and files near her scattered on the floor into neat piles. They were stacked up according to division. Portkeys here, Floo there. Laura charmed the last file, which was one of her own, and it lifted off the ground and landed itself gently on the Broomstick pile. Then, she levitated each pile and placed them on their respective division head desks one by one.
"Help out everyone," Laura suggested, glancing around at the Level Six employees around the work area. "Once you're finished with your particular desk, don't stop. There are plenty of things we have to spruce up. Other employees' desks, or perhaps the filing cabinets and other furniture around the room."
SPOILER!!: Scarlett

Laura was just about to turn back to the mess that still persisted near and around the four division head desks when she heard Scarlett's voice. She nodded her head approvingly to her fellow division head's words. Indeed, the mess wouldn't clean itself, even with magic. Everyone would have to participate. Laura smiled warmly to Scarlett. She was relatively new, but she was already doing a wonderful job of working up to the standards of her position and being a leader.
Jamie looked at the debris, and nodded along to those who were speaking about hurricane's and stuff. It certainly did look like a hurricane had hit the office.
Shame. He had never got to pick out a desk.
... Seems like he could pick one out now though. He glanced at the Division Heads. "Hey..erm..do I just take any desk?" He asked uncertainly. He didn't want to take someone's desk, so best to ask.
Jamie pulled out his wand, and flicked it; the sheets of paper surrounding him and the desk he was closest to fell into three neat piles. He grinned at his handywork. He directed his wand at a broken chair, muttered "Reparo." and it zoomed back to its original state. Hey, he wasn't bad at this fixing malarky.
Katrina picked up some papers off the floor. The room was a mess, chaos just came here. Sighing she wondered why the figurines couldn't just clean this place up. Katrina flicked her wand at a desk. "Reparo," she said as it fixed itself. Tucking her hair behind her ear, she picked up some more papers strewn around the room.
What a mess! She supposed she'd have to go pick out a desk later, first she needed this place to look nice and clean. She continued to pick up papers around her. Katrina wanted a coffee...

Cris' wand was still not out. He started to collect the non-destroyed things around desks in boxes, and writing For Reclaiming after cleaning, although the boxes would be around a four desk area. And well, let's think of it, he never had the chance to pick out a desk, he was kind of new there too, but it was not important at the moment, the cleaning had to be done, and it seemed like it was going to take a long time. Sigh.
And time for repairing desks. As the four-desk box was set in the middle, he started to take out his wand then flicked it as he said the enchantation. "Reparo!" It was a word said throughout the room. And yes, it was going to be a long day.

Laura turned her gaze from Scarlett to the man who had spoken out loud next. His question didn't seem to be directed at anyone in particular, and she realized that he wasn't in the Broomstick division, but she decided to help out anyway. She quickly slipping her wand away into her pocket.
"That's right, not all of you have desks yet because of all the chaos," Laura said, glancing pointedly at some of the unfamiliar faces in the room. "If that's the case, you can simply do your part in cleaning up unclaimed desks or some of the community areas that all four divisions share." She gestured around to the general broken decor around the work area. "Then, you can pick out your desk, as long as it's unclaimed and it's situated in your division's area," she added. Pointing at the different corners of the room, she explained, "Those desks are for Portkey employees, those for Apparation, those are Brooms, and those ones are for Floo."

Hopefully that cleared things up.
Picking up a tune Scarlett continued to mend things and clean and dust off all the desks in the room. It was remarkable that four figurines could cause so much destruction in such a short time. Reparing a broken stapler and replacing it on the nearest desk Scarlett complained. "Couldn't the figurines have----" she trailed off. Remembering that she had to lead by example.
Ignoring her frustration and urge to complain Scarlett moved over to repair the large filing cabinet wall that contained files and important parchments for all four divisions. Hearing Laura help direct one of the new employees Jamie to where his desk was at Scarlett turned to her blond head counterpart "Unless Armen has a better surprise then maybe we could have a small get together where we talk about the figurine incident. I think many of the employees are confused as to why our department suddenly became a battlefield."I know I was."
Plus it could allow everyone time to reflect and then take pride in what they had accomplished before something new and pressing came about.

Laura had once again returned to the task set upon the Level Six employees at hand, starting on some of the other things around the division head section of the room. Her chair hadn't been damaged like some of the others', but her desk was missing a good chunk from its surface, possibly from a good blasting spell aimed for a figurine that had missed instead. She twisted her wand in her hand and pointed it at the desk. "Repairo." Now, the desk was good as new again.
The spell had eliminated a good deal of the mess on the floor, as most of it was made up from the splinters from her desk. Laura cleaned up the rest of the rubbish with a flourish of her wand, then turned toward some sad-looking plants nearby.
They were only for decoration, not requiring watering or other care from the employees. Laura admired them for giving the work area a nice fresh look. She swiftly repaired their ceramic pots, all of different sizes and colors, and replaced the soil inside them. Not bad.
Amidst her concentration on her work, Laura heard Scarlett start speaking. But just as she looked around at her fellow division head, she had cut her sentence short by trailing off. Laura gave her an inquiring look, but the dark haired woman had already moved on to fixing the filing cabinet.
Not long after Laura had started to rearranged her pictures neatly on her desk again, she heard Scarlett speak up again. She nodded understandingly to her colleague. "Good idea. A lot of our new employees walked right in while were in the middle of the whole situation," she said. What a way to start off your job at Level Six! "You could run that idea by Armen when he gets back," Laura went on before moving on to a few crooked pictures hanging on the wall.
*please note* you cannot see me. That is what a disillusionment charm does.
The Ghost
Well well well. Armen Recard certainly kept his department in a lovely state of confusion and destruction. This came as no surprise to the newly-appointed Head of Magical Maintenance and Security, considering the way the man had behaved as an immature teenager in the recent meeting with the Minister. But was it really necessary to keep his employees' offices as such?
Or was Ikenna correct in thinking that the havoc in this office was a direct result of a recent attack and infiltration upon the Ministry, the very same such attack he was here to prevent? And this man was one of the ones determined to fight tooth-and-nail against new security measures....
Disillusioned and invisible as usual, Ikenna Gevrik carefully stepped through the messy Department of Transportation work area on his way toward Recard's office. Had the employees cleaning up been able to see the tall, strapping man passing through their cubicles, they might have been shaken by the look of disgust and displeasure he wore on his dark face. They were still clearly recovering from an attack or accident, and from what Ikenna gathered in his few moments passing through their work area, it had probably been entirely preventable.
Gevrik did not reveal his presence, however, and continued past the offices silently and invisibly. He was primarily here to inspect Recard and then, then he would take on the task of the half-destructed Transportation offices.

Scarlett put the last finishing touching on the now repaired filing cabinet. Turning to the room at large she announced "The filing cabinet is back in order. If anybody find stray files lying around please put them back into the filing cabinet under the correct division." She liked to keep things tidy. Moving back to her desk Scarlett mumbled "Reparo!!" as her wand fixed her damaged, chair desk and the items lying ontop off it that she hadn't attended to earlier.
Turning to Laura she nodded "I will. I think we all need some type of closure on the figurine incident." Scanning the work in the office she sighed when she saw the damage still quite visible among the employee desks escpecially in her own division. Scarlett shut her desk drawers and stacked the files on her desk before marching over to deal with the debris on the floor.
"Evanesco dust!""Reparo, Reparo!" The dust on the floor cleared and two desks resembled themsleves back to look as good as new. Remembering something Scarlett turned to look at Laura a bit wide-eyed "You don't think the figurines wrecked the conference room too?" She surely hoped not.

Laura dusted off her hands as she took a step back and inspected her work. Satisfied, she turned her attention to the rest of the work area. Things looked as if they went swimmingly with the cleaning up, and everything seemed to be in order again. She could almost forget that the whole figurine incident didn't happen. Almost.
As she took a seat at her desk, Laura leaned on her elbows and frowned at Scarlett's question. "The conference room? Merlin, I hope not," she said, although she was skeptical about the conference room being in any sort of trouble since it was usually locked up. And she didn't recall the figurines going anywhere but the work area and Armen's office to wreak havoc. Still.
"You could send someone down, just in case," Laura suggested, to give the other division head some peace of mind. Then, she took off her glasses and brought over the pile of Broomstick Regulatory files front and center to begin sorting through them.
