Pippa nodded a little bit, and shook the outstretched hand, before letting go of it moments later. Yep. Alyssa certainly seemed ... young. And even if she wasn't, she certainly didn't seem .... mature enough. Married or not, she seemed too... Eh.

Her gaze fell back on Pandora, and she shrugged. "Not your cup of tea, ey?"

Pandora looked at Pippa in surprise. Clearly being pregnant was affecting her ability to control her facial expressions.

She didn't know either woman and had no reason to trust them or Sebastian. Until they proved themselves, she wouldn't either.

Rather than answer Pippa, she scrunched up her nose for just a moment, a spilt second, showing that indeed, Alyssa was not her cup of tea.

Pippa frowned a little bit at the no word reponse, but had to hold in a giggle at the scrunched up nose. "I getcha. Not mine either." She shrugged once, and ran a hand through her blonde locks, before placing her hands in her cardigan pockets.

She looked over at Alyssa, and she rolled her eyes.

Alyssa turned around just in time to see eyes rolling at her. "Oh for the love of Merlin. Why do you have such a problem with me." Alyssa said out loud before she even realized she had done so, well no sense in taking it back now, she herself was rather annoyed with both women they seemed think that Alyssa talking with her employees while their boss seemed distracted was a bad thing. Alyssa was fuming at this point, what was their problem. Well so be it, at least Alyssa's employees would like her. She didn't really have to work them as much as her employees.

Pandora's eye's narrowed at Alyssa. "I have no problem with you whatsoever, just your apparent lack of professionalism."

Pandora was exhausted and certainly not in the mood for this sort of thing. She looked at Pippa and gave her a tight smile. Of the two of them, Pippa seemed the most organised and reliable. Was she making a snap judgement? Oh you bet! It did not mean that she was wrong though. Pandora Cavanaugh was almost never wrong. And even when she was, she didn't admit to it.

Oh, for the love of Merlin. It was like being back in Hogwarts. The looks, although she knew downright she was giving a few of them herself, the comments. And the other comments that did make her giggle. One of which Pandora had just answered Alyssa's question with.

But she didn't giggle. Nuh-uh. That was typically bad or someone in her authoritative position, and instead she shook her head. "No problem, Alyssa. But I dare say, you are drawing attention to yourself, with your outbursts. Now if you don't mind, we have employee's around, and we certainly don't want them thinking we can't act mature about things and certainly start accusing others of having 'problems' with you, not when we three are Division Heads of this level. And I certainly don't think that Mr. Bailey want's to encounter this in the middle of our work are. Now, if you please." There, that was it. That was all she was going to say on the matter, all she was going to expect to be said of the matter. Her comments were mainly aimed at the immaturity of Alyssa's question that had provoked Pandora's reaction, and Pippa held Alyssa fully responsible for that comment either way.

Sebastian witnessed the entire conversation between the division heads from a distance with an eyebrow raised. He did not want to step in though, he wished to know how they would sort this out. He knew they were all fairly knew and so did not know each other very well.

He walked back over to them though when they were questioning each others professionalism and stood there for a moment with his arms crossed to let them know he wasn't happy before he spoke. "You three need to work your conflicts our outside of the office. Or at least make sure to do so in quieter voices," He said to them, his voice lowered so only they could here.

"In the meantime, I am going to go tour the ministry. If any of you need to get a hold of me, you know how to do so. If you have any concerns, stop by my office!" He said, before he turned out of the office and left. He'd be back soon though.

Pandora looked at Sebastian, her face entirely devoid of emotion. She did not correct him, thinking that he probably would not take it well. As he walked away, she turned to the other department heads. "I have an appointment at St. Mungo's in half an hour. If he asks, could you please tell him that's where I am." Her voice was polite and crisp.

She collected her bag from her desk and walked out, giving her staff a brief wave on the way out.

Alyssa had half a mind to curse them both and go to Azkaban for the trouble. But she had a husband and a child to think about. But Alyssa was not going down with out a fight, that was for sure. "My lack of professionalism? I think you are showing that your self with your rude attitude, forgive me for getting to know my employees." Alyssa was so mad right now she had all she could do throw down her wand and engage in muggle fighting. Alyssa took a deep breath, and tried very hard to calm down. She stopped her self from rolling her eyes and from cursing anyone. She looked up in time to see one of the divison heads leaving. Well thank goodness Alyssa thought to herself. "I think we need to all just calm down."

Alyssa said it outloud more her self than for anyone. She was not going to aplogize for getting mad or for what was said. Alyssa had done NOTHING wrong except getting to know her employees. But they did say something that didn't bother Alyssa. This was not the place for this arguement, there were other people in the office. She moved back over to her own desk and began to fill out some paper work.

As Alyssa somewhat defended herself, from something that definately didn't need defending from, Pippa sighed and nodded once. "How about you both a pologise and we ca- Oh uh. Sorry Mr. Bailey." whoops. Like Pippa had said, she certainly didn't like the fact it was all being argued about infront of colleagues, and their boss. Who more than likely had just left to go and speak to someone about getting all three of them the sack. She waved a little goodbye to him and prayed he was doing what he said he was going to; and turned to go back to her desk when Pandora announced her departure.

"Oh, have fun Pandora, and good luck." Because you needed luck for hospital visits, sometimes they could go fatefully wrong you know. But she was pretty sure it wasn't going to go wrong.

After Pandora had gone, Pippa turned to look at Alyssa and raised an eyebrow as if to say , 'Happy now?' because she certainly wasn't. But continued to go and sit at her desk. Filing. Yeah, filing.

Alyssa sighed after she had done paperwork for a while. She had calmed down a great deal and realized they were all being childish. Alyssa still was not going to aplogozie for getting to know her division, but it was best not fight anymore. After all they were going to have to work together one way or another. Alyssa looked around to see who was left in the office, she had her two employees left and figured she would go over and talk to them in a short while. She needed to talk to Pippa first.

Alyssa walked over to her desk. "Truce?" Was all Alyssa could think to say, she certainly didn't want to fight anymore and they would eventually have to work together anyway.

Laura saw Helena come in and join Alyssa,their new head and her and just as they were introducing something went wrong and there was a slight argument and Laura sighed but didnt dare to shake her head.
She kept quiet all along and then after sometime went back to her cubicle to get to start on some reading of her files as the other Heads left for their respective cabins.

It had been quite sometime and she didnt realise for how long she was sitting there in her cubicle.

Pippa had just seated herself at her desk, properly, and had started to flick through parchments when a voice interrupted her. First off, she thought maybe Pandora had came back in and Alyssa was talking to her, but no. There she was, talking to her. Asking for a truce.

"For works sake, yes." Because she certainly wasn't up for being perfectly good FRIENDS with Alyssa. Nope.

Good now that Alyssa had made her 'peace' so to say with one of the divison heads at least she was free to move on and pretend that they didn't exist...untill she had to acknowledge them at least. Alyssa nodded her head at Pippa and moved back toward her own office.

Alyssa saw that Laura had moved back to her own cubicle for work. Alyssa headed over to talk to her. Since things were at least neutral around the office again Alyssa thought it best to aplogize to her fellow workers. Alyssa knocked on Laura's cubicle. "Hey Laura, I'm sorry about that." It was all Alyssa really could say, she felt bad that Laura and Helena had to see that, they probally thought Alyssa was nuts by now. "It won't happen again."

Laura had just got up and placed a file that she was reading back in the shelf when she heard a knock and was surprised to see her division head there.
She shook her head and gave a small smile
um,no,that's ok Alyssa.its office and we get to meet all sorts of people with complete different view points and all such things do keep happening,nothing to worry about she said
and yeah do come in she invited her inside the small cubicle even though it was small and comfortable it would at the maximum fit in only three people.

Alyssa smiled at Laura, she enjoyed her company and was glad that she understood. Alyssa nudged her way inside, it wasn't too very long ago that she had an identicle office on level 8 so Alyssa knew how cramped it could become and how quickly. "So how are you doing?" Alyssa was glad for some pleasent conversation for once. It could have been the pregnancy that made Alyssa react the way she did, she couldn't wait to have her baby out and in her arms.

Laura motioned Alyssa to take the chair while she leaned against the desk in the cubicle.
oh,i am doing fine.just was reading up some old files and stuff,to keep me busy she said shrugging.
She looked at Alyssa and then saw her look very excited.No doubt she would be,with the baby and all.Laura smiled at the thought of cute baby.

"Well that's good that you are keeping busy." Alyssa looked over at Laura. "There hasn't been much going on in the office lately has there?" Alyssa wondered what they could start planning or what was going in the other wizardy communties that they could get involved in.

Laura shook her head
um,no as there hasnt been much going around but i guess we will get to know soon if there is anything she said and shrugged.

"This is true, I'd say we could stir up a little trouble but..." Alyssa sighed and looked over at Pippa. "I think I've made them mad enough for one day." Alyssa winked at Laura, she was teasing, but she was having fun with her. Alyssa was glad she had found at least one friend in the office.

Nice...thought Jenkins scanning the new office. All three divisions combined into one work area, this could be interesting.

It was his first day back after his prolonged vacation and he was glad to be back. He took his box of stuff and sauntered into an empty cubicle. He wondered if Abilee still worked in International Co. He hadn't heard from or seen her since his trip, but that was mostly his fault for going all MIA.

He hung his jacket on the back of his chair and set the box of his stuff on the floor. He slumped into the chair reclining with his feet on the desk. He groaned and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. Why did the ministry have to start so flipping early? Not that he was even on time, but still. It was early.

Bright and early, Malachi Brown walked into the International Magical Co-operation and made his way through the desks to those which clearly belonged to the Division Heads, smiling at the people he passed. His tall, slender frame wound easily through to the desk marked 'Pandora Cavanaugh, Division Head: International Magical Office of Law'.

Pulling out his wand, he summoned a cardboard box. He packed away the personal items in the desk and sealed the box. He looked around to see if he could see anyone who was employed in his office... He had made himself familiar with their personnel files so that he would know who to look for. "Hello." He said to the closest person. "Can you arrange an owl for this?"

Laura laughed.
um,yeah i think it was quite enough for the day she said her tone teasing.It was nice to have a head who was so easy going and friendly.It was nice that Laura has struck up friendship with her so soon.
But just as they were sitting there Laura heard someone holler.
i'll be back in a second she excused herself and walked out of her cubicle and looked around and saw a man.she walked upto him.


um...hello,sir she hesitated not knowing how to address the man in front of her.She pretty much didnt know him.
how may i help you? she asked him politely and saw a cardboard box already in his hand.she frowned a bit.
another new face? she thought.

Alyssa was about to answer Laura when she heard a new voice. Before Alyssa had time to react Laura was already on her feet. Alyssa smiled at Laura's back really. She really liked that woman, she was so helpful. Alyssa saw the man was in the division head office. Could it be that Pandora had really left? Alyssa follwed Laura to introduce herself to the new man. "Hello, I'm Alyssa Hobgartner, Division Head of British Seats." Alyssa stuck out her hand for a shake, it was customary afterall.

Malachi looked at the young woman and smiled, eyes twinkling in his customary manner. "Hello, I'm Malachi Brown. Could you arrange an owl for this? The address is on the top." He looked up as an aeroplane memo headed towards them and plucked it out of the air. Opening it, he scanned it and frowned and then looked back to the young woman. "Thanks... umm sorry, what was your name?"

There was another woman at his desk now, introducing herself. He shook her hand warmly. "Malachi Brown, Acting Head of the International Law Division." She looked very young to be a division head, but then again so did he, despite being thirty-six.
