Rinatta had expected to hit the ground face forward after tripping , but ................she was still sort of standing? She looked up and saw the young man who had been playing tag with the no-longer-so rampant poltergist. Though she did hear the poltergist shriek again. He had caught her arms in midair and unfortunately, her coffee too. Rin stood up all the way ,her face blushing lightly. "I am so sorry about that." she said ,still quite embarrassed. She silently berated herself for wearing heels and lamented the new office design. "Thank you,......here let me help." she said softly and readied her wand.


As she was going to heal and de-coffee the young man , a young woman she did not know passed her and did precisely what she going to do. Well at least it got done. Then a young woman she recognised, Hanna, came over and helped as well. Well he looked like he would be fine now. Still no more heels ,at least at work , for you. Never know when a sneaky kneazle will trip you.

Before Rin could even move , something bumped her in the head. Turning a piece of parchment fell into her hands. She smiled brightly as she read it and then placed it in her robe pocket. She was happy to have another employee and this one seemed very polite, a trait she greatly appreciated, albiet shy. Before she could give a reply though she heard yelling from the young woman behind her and turned around again. There was so much commotion today. She startled a little bit as a potted plant exploded.

The poltergist shreiked loudly as her playmate was covered in coffee and then yelped. She went to lash out at the cause ,but was disrupted when two other witches came over to assist him as well. That second woman was too close obviously , as the poltergist picked up a crup and set it after her ankles. She dodged the witches spell and giggled eerily as a plant exploded. She set the crup on her again and laughed harder. She floated about the room again ready to cause havoc again as her game had been disrupted. She was attacking whatever was close to her playmate.

Briony ran into the Level Four Cubicles with the book she had used to swat the doxies still in her hands. How was the best way to get someone's attention? They needed desperate help in the Education Department. Or else she, Antigone, and other employees were going to freak!

"Um, is there anyone from the Beast Division who could help with some doxy infestation down in the Education Department?" she asked very loudly and somewhat desperately.

Nikos turned away from his raven to the frantic woman, still stroking her feathers. It took a second for her words to register but once they did he was diging through his drawers for a specific spray. "I can help you, approximately how many are down there?"

"We may need two hands. I'm not as experienced with this stuff as you all are," she said to Nikos. Wait how did she know him? Oh yeah. That day at the Leaky Cauldron. She was surprised she remembered him. Now wasn't the time though. "As to how many are down there, let's just say there are 3 to 4 filing cabinets full of them. My boss is freaking out." Poor Antigone.

Misty was just about to do something, something that did not involve work, when a woman had rushed in and started asked for help. Doxies? How and why did they go to the Education Department?

Anything was better than staying in this office with that poltergeist, and it seemed that guy, whose name she still didn't know, spoke up and offered his help. If there were a lot of these 'doxy' the woman would need more than one person to help..right? "Yes. I can help, too." The kneazles in the office were bothering her.

Mathius placed his book on his desk and watched the madness unfolding around him. Maybe this wouldn't be too bad. He grinned as the witches faught with a poltergeist. It was rather amusing to watch. He would have helped had he any idea what spells would have been effective.

"Oh good," she sighed in relief. The more the faster these doxies would be gone and her boss wouldn't go into panic mode. "Do you have some of that doxycide?" she questioned. It seemed the best way to dispose of these creatures. She didn't think Antigone's little can of spray and Nikos would get rid of all. Hopefully this woman knew what she was doing. Who was she kidding? These people are professionals. Compared to her.

Nodding his head he continued to search threw his drawers until he found what he was looking for. Pulling some Doxycide to paralyze the creatures he walked swiftly to the woman who looked vaugly familar, carefull not to go near the pesky poltergeist. "As a matter of fact we do." He said holding up the spray for her to see, then he turned to his coworker."I think we'll need some cages to contain them, can you get one?"

Doxicide and cages.

Right.

It seemed they were forgetting something else too.. hmm.

Misty stuck a few phials of the antidote for doxy venom in her pockets, before levitating a few cages and more cans of doxicide. She did not want to be seen doing manual labour by actually carrying them. That's what her wand was for.

Stepping up to the woman and the still unnamed man, Misty nodded her head. "I think we have everything now."

In other words..let's go.

"I suppose we head out then," she looked back and forth between them. "Before my boss has a panic breakdown." Maybe that other new employee she yet to know he name had helped. Briony started her lead to the doors of the Level Four Department. 2 floors down to the Education Department.

Tapping his foot Nikos waited while his coworker gathered the supplies, glad she grabed extra Doxycide.

Once she gathered everything he turned to the woman who's name still escaped him and followed her out the door to the Education Department.

Humph.

"No, no I don't need any help.." Misty muttered as she followed out the door. Now she will be seen levitating things, and well, she just figured the unknown man would help take the cages from her.

This doxies would pay.

Nikos walked behind his coworker and the cages full of doxies. Once they had reached their floor he took the doxies into the holding room before returning to his coworker. Now they both had time to properly introduce themselves.

Holding out his hand he smiled at the woman."Nice work down there partner. I'm Nikolaos Fakiris, but you may call me Nikos." He looked down at his feet and grined when a kneazle walked by before looking back up to his coworker.

Well, that job was easy. Misty thought it was going to be a lot worse than what it was with the way the woman came running in. Doxies were easy enough to take care of, she and her coworker had showed the whole Education Department that.

She stood there and waited until the man came back from the holding room, for she was going to learn his name. After all, they did sorta bond, right? Right. Just as he came back she was going to speak, but her had beat her to it. Giving his hand a shake, she smiled, "Nice to meet you Nikos, I'm Misty Del Rossa. But you can call me Misty.." Since you know, that was her name.

She glanced down at the kneazle, Merlin! it was the same one whose tail she had stepped on earlier. It better not get revenge..

Bending down, he picked up the kneazle and scratched it behind the ears while he looked at Misty. "Well Misty I think we made quite the team down there. Gotta say the way she ran in here I was expecting many more doxies than there were. Though I did find their reactions to the creatures amusing." There was laughter in his voice as he continued to scratch the kneazle who was eyeing Misty.

Misty nodded. They did make an excellent team! She chuckled at what he had said, for she felt the same way. "Talk about an overreaction!" Those Education Department folk would never last a day working with them, except maybe the doxy stealing man..what was he doing trying to take one? "What do you suppose that man wanted a doxy for?" she asked taking a quick step away from Nikos.

She did NOT like the way the kneazle was looking at her.

Nikos chuckled along with her, overreaction was an understatement. You wouldv'e thought they were being attacked by dragons the way those education employees were acting. "Explains why they work in the Education Department, can't get any safer or boring of a job than that. Though I wouldv'e been a little worried if it was Law Enforcement." He joked, a bunch of Aurors running from a few doxies wouldv'e been more than a little worrisome.

He shifted the kneazle in his arms as he shruged at her question."I don't know....there's not much doxies are good for besides annoying wizards. Ya don't think he was gonna use him to bite someone?" As Nikos mussed over the thought the kneazle never took her eyes of Misty, atempting to reach out to the girl. He looked down at the kneazle and back up to Misty. "I think this little girl likes you. Wanna hold her?"

"Whoa! Whoa whoa whoa!" Torio really wasn't sure what he was 'whoaing'. It was a mix between a "That's okay about the coffee, I completely understand", "please stop pointing your wands at me and casting spells", "thank you for the spells and help but I don't know your names", and "WAIT, DON'T ENTICE POLTY AGAIN!".

It was a debate as to which one won out in the end as well when he gave a smile to the lady that had tripped, a nod to the woman with the wands, and a frantic wave of his hands in front of himself all at the same time. Perhaps it was better to start recognizing logic action once again from the point of his last movement. Of course that had been to jump after the poltergiest and wrap his arms around her from behind in a playful hug; one that let her know he was okay and he hadn't forgotten about her.

"Hey hey, Polty!" He grinned, rocking back and forth with her; though he had to admit, such an encompassing gesture was a might hard to maintain with a ghost. "I'm okay. It's okay. Just a bit of coffee. Apparently it wanted to join in on the tag-game as well. How about we just take a break for a moment and catch our breaths?"

His eyes flicked to the woman that had cast a configo spell at the poltergiest, his eyes silently asking her and her friend to stay their wands for the moment. He hadn't run up and down the Ministry's hallways just to have the ghost return to her former path of chaos and destruction. Letting out a heavy breath he rested his forehead on the ghost's shoulder, trying to extend some of the calm he found within to her; trying to ake her feel safe and noticed.

"Exactly what I was thinking!" Misty agreed, "How boring could it be down there? They were looking through files." She wondered how long those files were sitting in the cabinet. It had to be a long time if doxies had made a home in there. She would have to go and check the cabinets in this office later, just in case there were creatures alurking. Surely, they would not be scared like those down on the second floor. She laughed at the thought of Aurors running from doxies, "Oh, I would love to see that though." Big bad aurors scared of doxies. Priceless!

Misty cringed at Nikos thought of that man having a doxy bit someone. "I don't think he would be stupid enough to do that." To actually poison someone..that would be wrong, and using a poor doxy to do it..not good. "Unless he just wanted to keep it..as a pet.." Why else would he want a cage? Her thoughts were drowned out by his question and the way the kneazle was looking at her.."No, I don't think she likes me. I stepped on it's tail earlier. It'll scratch me!"

Now she was being an overreactor.

"Aparently that was a boring task as well, seeing how that had been sitting so long that doxies were in there. Wonder what it is they do down there?" He pondered the thought as he nuzzled the kneazle who had momentarily taken her gaze off Misty. He knew they ran Hogwarts, but how hard was that really? Surely the school wasn't as crazy as it had been when he was there, he made note to read a few old newspapers when he went home.

"A dozy is not a good pet, of course he wouldn't know that..." He let his words drift as he continued to nuzzle the kneazle who seemed to warm up to him. Chuckling at his coworker he looked from the kneazle to her. "Surely a woman who can handle a room full of doxies isn't afraid of a little kneazle? And I don't think she's one to hold grudges, are little girl?" He held the kneazle at eye level, grining when she playfully pawed at his short hair.

If her department ever had to go through files, Misty would surely quit. That was not what she had signed up for taking this job and it better not happen. She gave the department heads a quick glance as telling them this, but realized they had no idea what the glance was for. Looking back at Nikos, she shrugged, "I don't know what they do." Nor did she care, but she wouldn't tell him that. It was one of those things that should not be mentioned. "They must do something..educational." she laughed. Obviously that's what they do..

Oh Merlin. He was actually nuzzling the kneazle. She giggled at that not really sure if it was funny or embarrassing that a guy would nuzzle one, "Yeah, well, he better not try to steal one again. I should have asked his name.." So Misty could keep an eye on him, especially around any type of creatures. "I am not afraid of the kneazle." she said narrowing her eyes slightly. "I happen to have a cat of my own, and I am not scared of him." That's because he was too lazy to try to attack her. "Besides, I think she likes you. I wouldn't want to take her away from you."

Nikos blushed slightly when he realized that Misty was giggling at him nuzzling the kneazle. He couldn't help it though, he liked the little girl for some unknown reason. And he wasn't a Magical Creatures worker for nothing, being around the sweet creatures made him go soft. "Hmm, Maybe we should go back and get his name. I'm sure this won't be the last time we see him trying to steal a creature, especially since he had the nerve to do it with both of us in the room. He wondered if it was the mans first atempt at stealing a creature for personal use, if so then they would have to keep a very close eye on the man.

A small smile touched his lips at hearing her words. He knew she wasn't afraid of the kneazle, he was sure it would take a more dangerous creature to put fear in her heart. He hoped."And what is your kneazle's name?" He looked at the kneazle as she made herself comfortable in his arms. "I think your right."

Misty didn't miss the fact that the color in Nikos face changed. Hmm.. Why were the kneazles in the office anyway? Just because it was the Magical Creature department didn't mean they needed animals running around. It wasn't a muggle zoo, although, Misty would like that. She agreed with what he said, the man should be in trouble for what he did. "I think going to him would be a bad idea actually. He might not give us his real name, or not tell us at all." And if he did do that, it would prove his immaturity level. "We could go to his boss." Which would be the lady that tried to pay them for doing their job.

Ahh. Her kneazle. Her really big kneazle. "His name is Poseidon, since he likes water and all." she nodded. It was the first kneazle she had ever had that actually jumped in water. "Do you have any pets..or anything?" she asked as she watched the kneazle in his arms get more comfortable. Nikos had a way with animals..

Nessa gave the man a weak smile and lowered her wand. [b]"She turned to him, momentarily letting go of her ankel. "Hi, I'm Nessa." she lowered her wand. Mabey the poltergeist wouldn't bite her again if she put her wand away. She put it in her back pocket and nodded. So far so good.

Stroking the kneazle's fur he nodded in agreement with Misty. Going to the man wouldn't be wise, they'd be better off going to the Department head. "Going to the boss sounds good. Shall we go now?" The sooner the better, while it was fresh on thier minds and before someone else ran in needing more assistance.

A kneazle who likes water, that was a first. He grined at the thought of her kneazle swiming around in a lake like a crup."I have a raven named Marigold, had her for a few years now." He motioned his head over to his cubicle where the raven was perched sleeping soundly, despite all the cayos that was ensuing. "Though maybe I should get a kneazle seeing how this one likes me so much." Nikos glanced down at the kneazle who was purring in his arms as he stroked her, wondering if he could take her instead of buying one.
