Ryan, at first place, stared at the two women as they exchanged a few words with cold light blue eyes. Generally he was not getting annoyed with things so easily but for some reason being scolded before all the employees, to be honest, had hurt him a little bit. Plus Chloe seemed to be happy about it. Oh well. So be it Ryan had his own ways of playing game, hopefully he had.

Then he moved his cunning gaze from the women to the man when he spoke ''As i said before, we were discussing on the concept of detention mister but i think i should take a break right now'' he put the pencil he had been chewing on back in one of the drawers of his desk and made his way to the door ''I will be back very soon''

"Oh no problem, thanks very much" said Penelope with a smile. She enjoyed working in this department. After 7 enjoyable years of education at Hogwarts as she hadn't fufilled her dreams of becoming a teacher she took her job here in the Ministry very seriously. To her this was the second best thing.

Oliver decided he needed a walk to stretch his legs. He felt like he had been sitting at this desk forever. He got up and left the office and walked down the corridor.

Lily nodded, and naturally forgot about him once she heard Briony--"You mean--" she squealed. "Who?" She walked to her desk/cubicle, gently pulling Briony along. "I see you're really in charge! And what happend?!"

Chloe huffed her way back into work area, not at all pleased with herself for agreeing to subject herself to the torture of being under the thumb of Ryan Chambers. She sat down at her desk haughtily, looking around and trying to find him, but she didn't see him anywhere. They needed to talk. She needed to put Ryan in his place and let him know that she would not tolerate his rudeness nor his harassment. Taking out a piece of parchment, she scribbled,

"We need to talk.

-Chloe."

After giving it a few taps of her wand, it folded itself into a paper airplane and flew over to his desk, landing in the middle of it.

Once he was back from his break to the office, Ryan directly made his way to his desk without observing, even glancing at others. He was a busy man after all and he had a large stack of things to do both in and out the offices.

Sitting down on his seat the man strecthed himself and as he did his eyes spotted the paper airplane on his desk. He took it gently and read the note inside.

The message was short and simple and Ryan thought he knew the reason why she wanted to speak to him. Taking his muggle pen from the pocket of his shirt, he scribbled a reply to it.

Chloe looked up when she heard something land on her desk. She saw the paper airplane she had sent to Ryan laying there, just waiting to be opened. She unfolded it and read what he had written. Dipping her quill in her ink again, she scribbled,

And sent it back to him. Then she scribbled down a few more things and went off into the hallway to, unfortunately, wait for him.

Sensing the paper airplane coming back while he had been dealing with the drawers of his desk again, there seemed to be weird things waiting to be identified in them, Ryan looked up and caught the paper in the air and read the message inside the very moment he heard the woman's footsteps leave the place. ''Well...okay'' He murmured to himself and left the office after her

Calla was still a bit shaken from her conversation with Gavin. She had spent some time in the bathroom recovering from the tears. With her box of belongs hovering in front of her she smoothed her skirt and rubbed her cheek slightly making sure there wasn't a stray tear.

She pushed the large door open and entered the office. It appeared to have a very similar arrangement as on Level 3.

She scanned the room and found a couple ladies in the office. What a pleasant change of scenery. In the Accident and Catastrophes office it was mostly all men.

Calla approached one of the women, "Excuse me could you tell me who's the Division Head of The Inspections Committee?" She wanted to meet her boss, get instructions and get busy. She had a lot she wanted to keep off her mind.

Chloe walked back into the office and sat down at her desk right as a new woman walked into the office looking a bit out of place. She smiled kindly at the woman, wondering if she was lost. When woman asked about the head of the Inspections Committe, Chloe grimaced slightly and pointed toward Ryan's empty desk. "That's his desk right there, but Mr. Chambers isn't here right now," she said, making no attempt to mask the contempt for the man in her voice. Sure, he had shut up and listened to what she had to say, but Chloe wasn't sure how long that attitude would last, and she wouldn't let down her guard As soon as she did, she was sure he'd be batting his eyes at her again, and that was simply not okay.

Calla turned slightly as she heard some one walk into the vast room. She smiled politely at the woman. She looked toward the empty desk that the woman motioned toward and nodded slightly.

Her head turned with a quick snap when she said 'Mr. Chambers'. Calla's eyes were wide with shock, surprise and honestly distress.

"HUH?!?! Ryan?!" escaped from her mouth before she could gain her composure.

Her boss was RYAN?!?!

"Err sorry." Calla apologized for her outburst and could tell the woman didn't like Ryan much. Calla wouldn't ever admit to like him much either - but she knew she could handle him at the very least.

She repositioned herself, "Mr. Chambers. Ok." she said simply. Not showing much emotion.

Calla ran her fingers through her hair and chewed her lip for a moment. This was an awful mess. She dropped her hand from her hair and placed it on her hip. She could feel her muscles tensing up at the very thought of having to answer to him. She moved her head side to side causing her it to pop.

Realizing she hadn't introduced herself she straightened up, and offered her previously hip placed hand out. "I'm Calla Ainsworth."

Chloe raised her eyebrows at the woman's outburst. "Yes.... Ryan," she said coldly. Dear Merlin, how many women had that man tried to get with?! She didn't seem at all pleased to hear that Ryan was her boss. Chloe hadn't been too fond of the idea either, so she could understand this woman's reaction.

"He'll tell you he prefers Ryan, probably, but I call him Mr. Chambers. And it's nice to meet you Calla. I'm Chloe Ballard. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask, but I should get back to work now," she said, not wanting to get in trouble for socializing in the work areas. She gave the woman a polite smile, hoping she would sense that she would love to get to know her more outside of work, but this was probably not the time or place.

It was more than obvious that Ryan had in some way upset this woman. No surprise really. That was certainly par for his course.

Calla smirked when Chloe said what he preferred to be called, I have a few names I call him. Most were 4 letter words though. "Nice to met you Chloe. I understand completely." Calla smiled warmly at Chloe and thought they’d have to go to lunch some time. With that she walked over to the desk that was reported to be Ryan's.

She set her box of belongings on the floor near Mr. Annoying's desk and made herself smugly comfortable in his chair waiting for him to arrive.

Ryan walked back in the offices, still that smirk which appeared when he was in his cunning mood remaining on his face.Seriously, people were fun to deal with and especially he enjoyed dealing with women and it was even more fun when they acted hostile towards him. Yes, Ryan liked confrontation and liked it more when it was from a woman. Hehehe.

Whatever, he had stuff to do so without specially looking at anyone he made his way to his desk and halted when he saw the red-head sitting there her sight making him smirk wider. ''May i help you Calla Ainsworth?''

Calla had started moving her fingers along his desk, careful not to actually disturb anything. She knew that would irritate him more than she was really in the mood to deal with. Sitting in his desk though was just irritating enough she thought.

She heard him reference her and looked up with a smirk, a smirk she was sure he was familiar with. Calla liked having the upper hand; he obviously didn't know she was now his employee. This little bit of fun was defiantly taking her mind off Gavin, which, right now at least, is what she needed.

“Oh, hi Ryan. How are you?” She said, not addressing his question in the least.

Raising his eyebrows at the woman his blue eyes followed her fingers' move on his desk then looking up, he examined her features to gather information on her mood. She seemed to be teasing him which would appear in a good mood but her eyes were saying the quite opposite. Trying to cover sadness by attempting to tease Ryan Chambers. Was that why she was there or was there any other reason.

''Superb!'' the man replied cheerfully winking at her 'Just to see how she'd react' ''And how are you? You'd make me really happy if you answer this question along with giving the reason why are here on level two''

Calla knew Ryan could see through her and her chipper nature. But that was for another time and day. In fact what was wrong with her would probably come up in conversation between him and Gavin.

Ryan's wink didn't phase her, she knew he wasn't flirting with her - just being playful. "Glad you're doing so well." She wished she could say the same for herself. Calla paused, remembering why she left level 3 and transferred to level 2.

Snapping back in to the moment at hand she looked back up at the man, she ignored the man's first question and decided to explain her presence here. "Yes well, I'm surprised you don't already know."

She stood with a smirk and moved one paper on his desk a fraction of an inch. "I've been transferred to level 2."

Calla decided to wait another moment or so to tell him she was his new employee.

Ryan gently nodded at the woman when she expressed that she was glad that the man was all right which meant, at least, she was not all sarcastic towards him. ''And i see you are...'' not really well but he was almost sure that it would be no topic to discuss in offices. This time Antigone would surely kick his butt.

''...fine too'' healty at last. Then he raised his eyebrows again when she said she was surprised that he did not know...did not know what? What was that now? He could gather no information by her look and... a ''Huh!'' of surprise escaped from his mouth before he could control it.

Calla was working at his offices. ''Welcome then...'' the man tried to make up for the previous momentary shock ''...but i'm afraid you are sitting at the wrong desk. That is mine. Yours can be...'' he looked around to see any empty desk and of course there are at both sides Examinations Authority and Inspections Committee ''... at a side for your division''

She smiled lightly and looked as he commented on her condition. Thankful he didn’t press the issue.

“Thanks.” A small laugh came up, “Yes I know I’m at the wrong desk. That’s why I’m sitting here.” Of course she knew who’s desk she was sitting at.

“Man, don’t they tell you bosses anything?” She teased, questioning his knowledge.

Calla picked up her box this time instead of hovering it, “I’m sorry to have to break the news to you but I’m your new employee.” So far she liked this office much better than level 3, it was quieter – and right now that was good.

With a sigh she looked around the room, “So Boss, which desk is open on the Inspections Committee side?”

Antigone strolled into the work areas for her Department with a smile on her face until she saw and heard something that should not have been going on. She furrowed her brow and cleared her throat loudly. "Mr. Chambers, that is YOUR desk and I do not see it fit for your employees to be seated at it. Now as for you, get to a cubicle and get to work, this is not a social hour. By the way, I am your Department Head, Miss McArdle. And you are?" she said in her clipped business tone as she barely avoided narrowing her eyes at the woman.

Remembering why she came into the room to begin with she glanced back over her shoulder and said, "Xena, this is your work area. Pick an empty cubicle and decorate as you see fit. Now I have no idea where Miss Whitehall is, but this is Mr. Chambers, the Division Head for the Inspections Committee. Mr. Chambers, this is Xena one of Miss Whitehall's newest employees." SHe glared at the woman at Ryan's desk for a moment longer and then glared at Ryan himself.

When she heard a familiar throat clear, Chloe looked up from her desk to see that new woman sitting in Ryan's desk, the two them behaving far too casually for the work place, and Antigone would not like seeing that upon her reappearance. Antigone shouldn't have to babysit Ryan and reprimand him for his every action. It was getting a bit ridiculous. And where was Briony? Goodness this department was feeling a bit off lately. Chloe sat back in her chair a little bit, just smiling over at Antigone, wanting more than anything to run over to her and tell her the big news, but now was not the time or place. "Here, Calla, you can have this one," she said, pointing to the empty cubicle next to her, hoping the new woman would get the hint to get away from Ryan quickly before Antigone unleashed her wrath on the both of them.

Xena's heels clacked on the floor as she walked from the office to the work areas. She ran her eyes over the area. It was very square. She spotted her empty cubicle, and stood beside it. She could decorate it as she wished? Now that was interesting. What did the other employees have in theirs?

"Thank you Ms McArdle. I look forward to our drinks, in the future."

Briony walked into the Education Department's work areas. Maybe she should take less time on her coffee break in the future. She didn't like coffee at all but found it as a way to socialize with others from the department. She saw Antigone talking to a new woman and overheard her being in the Examination Authority. That was her. She hurried her pace up to the two. Looking over, she spotted another new woman with Ryan.

"Hello you must be Miss Segway," she said uncomfortably. She had gotten a notice while on the coffee break. There was also a Miss Emen as well. Briony didn't recognize her anywhere in the office. "I'm Briony Whitehall, the Division Head for the Examinations Authority as I guess Miss Carmina has mentioned." She looked over at Antigone. "I'm pleased to have you working under me. If you have any questions feel free to ask."

Antigone smiled and leaned in a bit closer to whisper, "Please call me Antigone." She gave the woman a wink and then turned her stern face back on as she looked back at the woman who had yet to properly introduce herself to her Department Head. How flippin rude.



Antigone cringed as she was referred to by one of her Division Heads by her middle name... oh no she di'int. "MCARDLE... MISS MCARDLE IS MY NAME. Now, I want the lot of you to get your act together in here. If I come back in here and find you all lazying around I may have to consider restaffing this entire department save for a few of you," she eyed them all pretty much. OOOOH this made her blood boil.

Briony couldn't help but snigger but refrained herself from laughing. "It was an honest mistake, I'm sorry Miss MCardle," she smiled, straightening herself up. Wow that had honestly been a brain freeze for a moment. "I don't laze around," she argued. "We like getting to know our employees while we work." It's not like all of them socialized while working. Some concentrated more on work but she thought otherwise at some moments.
