J.J. Starr used his wand. He got more muggle cleaner and rags. Joe Jon montcenaggio scrubbed and scrubbed, then scrubbed some more. " Briony,you were not joking about this dirt on the files" J.J. told her.

Pausing for a moment as he checked the drawers of his desk, Ryan stared at Briony and waited till she was done with the officer she was talking to. Then putting a smirk on his face he replied ''Too bad you are not sure of your ideas on that. But hopefully i know what you have in there'' he indicated her head, smiled and got back to checking the drawers.

He listened to rest of her words pretty carefully though he did not look like he was paying any attention while dealing with the desk. ''Who should worry are the people in relation with underage people if they ever do anything that violates their educational conditions and psychological states. Because i am a good inspector, hopefully''

Briony chuckled, looking over at J.J. Starr. "Yeah they haven't been open since forever," she joked. This whole Department was getting a makeover. It was about time too. She looked over and watched as Ryan opened drawers of his desk. She rolled her eyes. "Oh I'm pretty sure don't you worry," she grinned. She tapped on her noggin and watched as he returned to checking out his desk.

She looked at another file. This Professor taught Transfiguration and turned one of her students into a frog and let him into the Forbidden Forest, never to see the kid again. No doubt she was fired. Wow, the school hired some psychos without evening knowing it. Good thing they were doing this Professor investigation assignment.

She looked back up at him. "Yeah," she shrugged. "Hopefully," a grin met her lips. Who was the longer employee in this department? She was. Even during the process of getting switched from Liason, to employee, to Division Head; she had stayed in this office the entire time. "The Ministry is sure undergoing tons of changes."

Chloe nodded at Briony. "Well, after you look through them, if you want me to destroy them, just send them my way," she said with a smile. She turned around giving her hair a flip as she did so. Making her way back to the cabinets, she just stood there for a moment and watched as the man scrubbed them with Muggle cleaning surprise. After he pulled out his wand, but then continued using rags and whatnot, Chloe could only suffice that he was not very good at household charms. She began opening the empty drawers and flicking her wand inside of them, cleaning them spotless. Then she moved to the outside and cleaned all the areas at the man hadn't already cleaned. She smiled at him politely, "Thanks for your help!" Cabinets cleaned out? Check. Cabinets cleaned? Check.

Chloe went back and sat down at her desk, awaiting her next assignment.

" You would not believe this, but I have been here almost as long as the Ministry has been in business" J.J. Starr happened to tell Briony. " I started at Muggle Sports, transferred to Magical Education, then became a liason to thisdepartment and when the closed the liason's office, I came back to my old job at Magical Educarion" Joe Jon Montcenaggio gave Briony the description of all his jobs." I remeber working on Reagan Taylors campaign and the split school of only boys and only girls before HogWarts got back together thanks to Minister Taylor" J.J. explained to Briony. J.J. Starr did not know what made him say what he did to Briony." Do you remember Samantha Bradley?" J.J. Starr asked Briony. "I worked for her before she had become sexretary to Reagan Taylor even before Anna Griengorth took over" J.J. aldo exp;ained to Briony. J.J. Starr knows he is the tenured employee here.

"Sure yoiu welcome" J.J. Starr told Chloe. These youngsters are getting even too much for J.J. Starr. He has been here forever and he knows what to do but he seems to be irrelevant in here. Joe Jon Montcenaggio remembers the days of Samantha Rose and the files had always been clean and so had the cabinets.

Ryan shot Briony sneaky looks his half smile remaining on his while he took care of his drawers and listened to her words. Was that sarcasm? Ah, women and their sarcasm! They were lovely, were not they?

He found a Muggle pencil in one of drawers and chewed on it before talking back to the woman. ''That's good.'' so she still had a lovey dovey, apparently. Then chewing the back of the pencil again, he nodded when she remarked the ministry changes ''The minister gets bored easily, i suppose''

After laughing at this he smiled at her all over again and stood up looking around the offices then he made his way to somewhere that everyone could see him. ''All right people!'' the blond man called for everyone's attention cheerfully ''The cleaning is done...for now. Then would everyone please listen to me for our next assigment?''

Chloe sat up straighter in her desk chair and turned her attention to the new Inspection Committee Guy. Wasn't he having quite a first day! Oh well! He was going to give Chloe her next assignment. She enjoyed actually having work to do at work.

"Wow you have been here quite some time," Briony agreed, after hearing J.J. Starr finish his little explanation. She had only been here since last May. Not that long ago if anyone though about it. She went back to looking bored and going through other files finding odder stuff.

She looked up again at Ryan. Why was he chewing on a pencil? "Yes. Bored very easily," she nodded. She didn't like change. Change never had it out for her. She sighed and dropped a folder on her desk and turned to face the man next to her. What could possibly the next assignment be?

Hmm the Minister of Magic got bored easily as Briony confirmed it. Mmmm Ryan liked women of this type. He he.

Whatever back to work. The blond cleared his throat and smiled at everyone in the offices. ''Thank you for the attention'' he began kindly and went on right after dropping the pencil he had been chewing on back on his desk. ''Now, people, we will be doing a brainstorming!'' Yea, brainstorming. He loved the term ''To determined the standarts, quailities and characteristics of a perfect teacher for our precious next generations. We do not want them to grow up into trolls or a couple psyhos or any other creature, do we?'' he paused to see everyone's reactions ''All right people! What do you think?'' Let's see how they were going to jump into the topic

"See, told you I was an old man" J.J. Starrl laughed. " Briony, you are the second oldest employee in this department, sorry" Joe Jon Montcenaggio teased her. " Everyone has to listen to us, right?" J.J. asked Briony.

" I heard two of the favorite professors in HogWarts are Professor DuMont and Professor Lawson" J.J. Starr told Ryan. " They are freindly to the students off and on campus" Joe Jon Montcenaggio said to Ryan. " Their homework and classes are hard but interesting and fair" j.J. explained to Ryan. " How about a teacher a combination of these two hard working mewn?" J.J. Starr asked Ryan.

Remaining seated in her desk, Chloe began to rattle off adjectives. "Dedicated, knowledgeable, passionate, caring, consistent, fair, compassionate, hard-working, I'm sure there are many mores but those are the ones that come to mind." She said before looking around the office, waiting for others to answer.

Briony listened to Ryan say they were going to be brainstorming. "Anyone looking for psychos just go through some old teachers files," she added to the end of his little speech. She did like brainstorming though. She sat thinking for some minutes before Chloe listed off the obvious. Of course she would. "People who have a safe background," she said, thinking about the files she was looking through.

Briony looked at J.J. Starr. "Somewhat," she figured. "Or just ask for help." People actually had to listen to her and Ryan but if they were confused about something or where another thing was they could as employees who had worked here a while.

" Briony, you are right, we have to listen to you" J.J. Starr told her. Joe Jon Montcenaggio forgot Briony is the department head.. The unfortunate times of J.J. he thought to himself.

''Dumont and Lawson'' Ryan repeated looking at the man who suggested the names ''Thanks for mentioning the names Mr. Montcenaggio. I will surely study their methods of teacing and also you have a good point by mentioning methods of teaching. This will be one of the topics we will be discussing after the personal traits a teacher should have''

And he turned his blue eyes on the woman who spoke next. ''Ah, Ms. Everhart'' he began with a wide smile ''Those adjectives that you remarked, surely, perfect for a teacher. I want to add the importance of patience to that list as well but...a question to everyone...'' the man looked around and rolled the pencil on his desk as he went on ''...what are the changes of finding a person who has all those qualities?''

Then it was Briony who spoke and who shot him a look as if he was an alien when he chewed on the pencil, previously. And ''Yes!'' he clapped his hands cheerfully ''This is one very important thing ; having a safe background. Every single act a person does consciously or not gives lots of information about their personalities and by examining their backgrounds we can protect students from possible pshycos to step in the school'' And now, he wanted to take a look at the folders on those said psychos. Not the time yet, though. ''And what are your ideas on how to determine someone who lacks the qualities of being a good teacher by examining the background?''

" We could observe their classes" J.J. Starr told Ryan. "Could we look into their backgrounds?" Joe Jon Montcenaggio asked Ryan.

Oliver walked into the work area and dropped a stack of papers on a desk. He was far too behind with his OWL reports to be slacking off and attempted to get to work.

Briony was surprised as Ryan suddenly clapped at her idea. Wow. Scary. "If they have any crime records or explode often. A lot of the failing professors in these files had committed big crimes and the staff of Hogwarts hardly even knew because they didn't look into their background," she explained. People who murdered someone may say they won't ever murder someone again, but it's not long before they do, and that's where the Professors were headed.

Antigone slipped in the door and simply leaned against the wall... just observing her little minions... I mean employees at work. She loved to watch them interact and well she had a falcon roosting in her office and so yeah... she needed a place to hang out.

Chloe sat and pondered Ryan's question for a moment. There were the obvious ways, looking into criminal backgrounds and whatnot. "I think interviewing students is a good way to get some insight. But I think the most important thing about the whole process is not making exceptions and not being able to lower standards for anyone. Teachers need to be role models for their students, both in front of a class and in their outside lives." That was a good answers. Yep. That was how Chloe felt. No matter what means they used to find answers, the key was to not break the rules for anyone special.

Briony turned to Chloe and thought about what she had just said. "May I remind you though kids have tendencies to make things up. They exaggerate what teachers actually teach like," she said, remembering how Thalia liked making stuff up often. "If we were to interview we might as well start with Prefects and the Head Girl and Boy. They're the first I would believe," she added. She herself had tried her hardest to be a worthy prefect and Head Girl.

Antigone cleared her throat after Briony finished speaking. "The only problem there is that they are underage witches and wizards... and the Headmaster would probably not allow us to interview students to begin with," she said grudgingly. She knew that man was hiding something... like something REALLY bad.

"We could try and get a few interviewed. Maybe simple questions on classes and lessons they learn. How they would describe a teacher in a few words," she suggested. The Headmaster didn't exactly own the school. The Minister could get involved if she wished. "Besides, it's the kids safety and well being we're trying to pursue," Briony stated, looking down at the folders in front of her. "Who's best knowing teachers first hand, the children." Sure the other Professors hung around each other every now and then but they didn't pry like kids did.

Chloe listened to the two women exchange ideas, and then Chloe pipped in with another one of her own. "I think it would all be about the intent behind questioning the students about professors. If your motivation was to find and reward the good teachers, I don't think anyone would have a problem with it. And if by asking to discover good teachers you find out some issues with a maybe not-so-good teacher, then that's just what happens." Chloe shrugged slightly. She felt that the good teachers needed to be rewarded just as much as the bad teachers needed to be punished.

Antigone frowned for a moment and then said, "Well...a ccording to Headmaster Tate" she grudged calling him anything proper... she wanted to call him taterhead or something demeaning, "There is no reason to suspect that his employees are anything other than amazing great people. There in lies our problem, you see."

"Well I disagree with only talking to the head boys, girls and only thee prefects" J.J. Starr told Briony. " They are picked by the administration and teachers for the jobs, so they to me would be more on the professors side" Joe Jon Montcenaggio explained to Briony. " I think interviewing the students is a great idea, because they are more adepr to telling the truth about the professors" J.J. said to Briony. "If I remember,, the students all are part of the process" J.J. Starr told Briony.

" Why could we not pretend we are reporters interviewing atudents?" J.J. Starr asked Antigone. "We could use the Yearbook as the farce" Joe Jon Montcenaggio told Antigone. " If the headmaster does not want us to interview the students,is there something that can be done?" J.J. asked Antigone.
